The warm charm of this beautiful restaurant was delightful. Family owned and operated you could feel the love and passion that goes into the dinners experience and the food! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding; I adored that the chef came out to greet his diners- a true personal surprise you really don't get from restaurants these days. The time the waiter took to explain the menu and create a friendly atmosphere really made us feel like we were part of family visiting for dinner. Highly recommended!

If you are wanting an authentic Italian experience this is by far the best restaurant to go to. We had been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and was so impressed we booked our wedding for 50 people there. They opened the restaurant on a Sunday (normally closed) at no additional cost. They could not have been more accommodating from making the courtyard available for our service, serving canape's and bubbles prior to and after our arrival, recommending the menu (seven course) and the wine list. The only complaint that we received was that our quests were so full (but delighted by the excellent food). It is disappointing to hear the negative reviews about Rosabla (aka rude woman) as if people actually took the time to engage in a conversation they would realise that she is interested in you not condesending and rude, she has a very Italian way to her dialogue and she is not (and should not be) apologetic for that. If you are chasing a fine dining experience I cannot recommend Perugino's highly enough. A sensational family business that has stood the test of time. Bellissimo

I went with girlfriends for a Friday ladies lunch. The place was packed, but despite that, service was on-point and lunch special was great value for money. We all had pasta for first course and the rabbit for second. Everything we had from the dessert trolley was delicious. We left the wine selection (from the extensive list) to the sommelier with a price range and his selection was a great match for the meal. Old style silver service, white linen table cloth restaurant with professional (older) staff, not casual uni-students ! I returned with my son and husband during school holidays, also for lunch.

It is not often that you meet someone who after 35 years is still so passionate about what they do but Giuseppe is an exception. The food is classic, timeless, and produced by someone who is a master of his art. You know that the head chef has nothing to worry about when he personally delivers you your plate, everything has been done to perfection. Our meal was simply impecable, every dish cooked so the texture, flavour, and the seasoning left no room for improvement. Added to that was the genuine kind, friendly and professional service from the wait staff. It is rare to have such a perfect meal, but I cannot speak more highly of our experience it was simply faultless.

The dessert cart is a wonderful experience that cannot be recommended strongly enough. When I spoke with Chef and his lovely wife, I was stunned at then warmth and charm I experienced even though I came through last minute. Having just worked a 14-hour day, I was ready for disappointment on the choices for my last meal in Perth. What I experienced is a personal highlight of this city that I will talk about as long as I continue to enjoy good food and be blessed with the company of good people. Went Thursday evening with a long time friend after recommendations from others. Great food, wine, atmosphere, table arrangement, waiter and a friendly, proud Italian chef Baccala on thin bread was a starter. Had seasoned sliced octopus in a fish sauce,; eaten with homemade bread (several types). Had a sumptuous, thick grilled and seasoned T-bone steak with finely cut salad. A very good red wine was appreciated. Finished with a short black coffee and almond bread. The chef offered grappa with my coffee.

I have been there for my birthday with my partner not too long ago. My experience was great. Dishes are very authentic and flavoured. Nothing to complain. The only place in Perth that serves Rabbit. Wow it was really good. On the other hand, the manager was not very nice. We couldn’t choose basically our meal😂 she was pushing us to take what she wanted to sell. As my experience you should “suggest” people to take the food you want to sell and not force them. It is not nice. I was pretty disappointed. As chef I know what does it mean to work in the hospitality environment. Hope with the reviews, people can learn and improve from the customer’s experiences. I’ll be back there for sure and hope to be taken care of by Francesco. Great figure of the restaurant with a lot of knowledge of food and wine.

Every dish was sublime! The portions were a good size, not just a morsel, but limited carbs so we didn't fill up too quickly. Attentive staff but not intrusive or pushy with the drinks. I never leave reviews but I really wanted to leave this one after seeing so many rude reviews about Rosalba (aka old women). I think what people don’t understand is that food is a heavy, heavy part of the Italian culture and perhaps what people have experienced with Rosalba is just her extreme passion for her culture and food. I understand being in Australia we may not be used to having to eat food in a particular manner or using particular plates, but what u need to understand is that the restaurant has a very authentic vibe to it. So it should be noted that if u decide to enjoy their amazing authentic food then also accept the authentic Italian culture and the way the restaurant runs things and just enjoy the experience. If she is teaching u etiquette and the way her culture does things then let her. My friend and I personally really enjoyed her non-apologetic attitude. You could tell the extreme level of passion she had about her food and culture. Although I understand that some of her behaviour may be strange, I was not in the slightest bit offended and accepted her showing me the right etiquette for eating Italian food. I myself used the wrong plate to eat the bread but she quickly changed it and asked me to use the right plate. I simply apologised and no harm was done. She also taught me how to read out the very Italian menu without knowing a word of Italian. Now for next time I will be as confident as ever and never feel embarrassed when I go to another Italian restaurant. If someone had bothered asking her why food shouldn’t be shared instead of being offended, she would have explained that some ingredients don’t go well for ones metabolism when mixed. I have to also say that the man waiter that works there was just as amazing. He really was the cherry on top with our experience. He was funny and so vigilant. Constantly watching out to refill my water and swap out our meals with the next course. Everyone needs to remember that Rosalba is representing her culture and one must be open minded and let her teach you the right way things are done in her culture. We came for a simple lunch but left with an ever lasting memory.

The Chef's selection Degustation delivers up 7 courses, which without doubt, are always amazing. Fine dining Italian served in a beautiful setting and you can choose from a huge selection of well priced Italian wines. At $100 per person, this is the best value fine dining in Perth. I have been dining here for over 9 years and the quality is always spot on.

Perugino was, mine and my girlfriends, first flash restaurant and it did not dissapoint! The service was respectable, and the design of the building was immaculate and awe-inspiring. Course meals were taken to absolute precision and care with every taste making your mouth water, the variety of beverages in the restaurant is what you would expect in a restaurant but a little bit more of the extra mile with multiple and fresh supplies. If your not concerned about money, expect to pay around 100-150 pp here. There is a good degustation course here also. Cater for parties, weddings etc with whole room options. If your a family of say 12, you can opt for a private room. Doesn't really cater for kids, they don't do garlic bread or fish and chips, should go without saying. Saw one fussy kid going hungry the other night. Great for a entree and mixer before heading out, talk to the staff about cocktails they know there stuff!

This is everything you want from a classic family-run Italian restaurant, the owner/chef is always around to greet you and ensure that your experience is a good one and that you're enjoying the meal, the menu has all your favourites and can cater for all tastes. Dined here with friends last Saturday night. Welcomed cordially and as we were the first to arrive it was suggested we perhaps would like to wait in the lounge area & have a drink, this we did, with others in our party arriving shortly after and joining us for pre dinner drinks. Shown to a lovely round table and the owner/chef came and suggested two small entrees a Puff pastry with mozzarella & truffle, then garlic Prawns & we chose our mains. These were Dhufish, 2 Duck, rack of Lamb & Goat. All meals were superb & unfortunately we couldn’t partake in desserts as we were completely satisfied. I have read some of the reviews for this restaurant in which customers weren’t happy, this was NOT in our case. Staff very friendly and attentive throughout the whole evening and I can only recommend this restaurant for a fine Italian meal. We will definitely be returning.

Food was very good, two young guys serving were lovely and helpful, the atmosphere is pleasant with a bit of vintage charm. It is fairly pricey for Italian food. HOWEVER, the old woman was an absolute cow during dinner service and at the end while paying. She should not be in customer service and should be immediately removed, she is destroying the charm of the place. It is not ok to be rude, belittling and snap at customers who are paying $150pp for an ok dinner in suburban Perth. During dinner we were going to book a large family birthday celebration, however after her incredibly rude performance I will not be back. If she is gone I will recommend this place to everyone. Would rate this 4-5 stars but our good impression of this otherwise great place was destroyed by her.

I organised our corporate management Christmas dinner function here for 37 people. We hired the private dining room which we were too big a group to all fit so we had another table extend just outside into the courtyard we also had private access to which was absolutely perfect. The waitstaff were impeccable and attentive. The tables were set beautifully with lovely centrepieces. The food was delicious and the courses seemed to go on for ever (there's so much food to be enjoyed and my stomach is only so big). The wine was divine. I've dined here many times privately and the food has also been consistently excellent. Perugino is an institution! LOVELY waiting staff and ambience. The restaurant is extremely intimate, perfect for you to go with your loved ones. I have also never been to a restaurant where the waiting staff communicated so well and was so attentive. I would have rated five stars but the otherwise great night dining at Perugino was let down by the co-owner and the bill. We were made to feel so welcomed by the waiting staff but the co-owner was cold, arrogant and made ignorant comments when we simply asked for the waiter’s names to write a review for their service as well as other questions about the restaurant. We were also told the mushroom dish at the beginning was free but we were charged for it in our bill. I had an amazing night thanks to the food and waiting staff (Can’t thank them personally as we didn’t even get told their names) but unfortunately, don’t want the experience of being unwelcomed again due to the co-owner.

The food was good, but not as good as other Italian restaurants in the same price range. The venue and setting was lovely. Wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable. One of the waiters mistakenly brought a bottle of wine to my table, which was completely fine, however, the old lady who came to apologize and take our order commented on his "stupidity" to us, in front of him. She then was very abrasive and forceful about explaining the menu and the order in which we MUST have dishes (she flat out refused to serve a pasta dish as part of mains as it was not aligned with her idea of tradition). Overall, the (just satisfactory) food for the price point and the sheer arrogance of the woman who served us made the place feel pretentious and unwelcoming. Bottom of the list for me when it comes to premium Italian restaurants in Perth.

My husband and I discovered Perugino many years ago and go as often as we can. We've been absent the last couple of years but last night, we were greeted like old friends by Rosalba and Francesco. This is my favourite restaurant for authentic Italian food and hospitality and THE most amazing wine list. The staff know their wines and can explain the origins, grapes, tastes and can match them to your meal. The food is absolutely delicious and they've always, since we've been coming, offered a delicious complimentary appetizer to start your meal. I always feel a connection with my Italian heritage when I come here and that's very special to me. Oh, and parking is never a problem. Definitely worth coming back to again and again.

You must visit Perugino if you want to experience real, authentic and genuine Italian food in Perth. The food has been absolutely stunning, but what it will really make you drop your jaw is the attention to details that the staff is able to deliver. Everything was perfect. Our waiter, Francesco, knew every single dish to perfection. He was able to describe and make you imagine exactly what you were going to order. At Perugino you will not find a dessert menu. We booked a table for two for our wedding anniversary and we had the degustation. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the chef's wife, to three hours later when we left and were seen off by their son, we were treated like family members. Beautifully set tables in a lovely dining room set the scene for a magnificent feast complemented by some lovely wines. Eight delicious dishes served by attentive, informative and intelligent waiters/waitresses and a couple by the chef himself, who stressed to us how his culinary creations were made from the heart. The truffle pastry dish, especially, was truly magnificent. We think it was probably the best celebratory dining experience we have had in 18 years living in Perth. Grazie mille. Torneremo presto.

Perugino Restaurant is probably one of the best restaurant in Australia. All the people that are commenting in a negative way about Perugino restaurant have basically no idea on what good food is. I don't know what they expect when they go out for dinner, but don't forget that you are in their house, you are their guest so behave like one!!! I have known the owners for a long time and they are good and professional people.

I know most people only want to "Bag" a Restaurant when they have a bad experience but sometimes it can be just that time something goes wrong. Many are not moved to give a good referral just because we all expect the experience to be perfect all the time. Wendy and I have been to Peruginos a number of times and have found the service, food, good nature of staff and especially the Chef, to be second to none. Wine selection superb! (Translated) The most delicious Italian restaurant in West Perth. The interior of the renovated aristocratic mansion is very atmospheric and cozy. I visited at lunch time and ordered a lunch course. A method of selecting one from each of the many appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The chef's commitment was felt in each dish, and the taste was satisfying. The main dish was interesting because there were many ingredients reminiscent of Jibie dishes such as rabbits, baby goats, and ducks. You can choose your favorite dessert with the wagon service. I felt that $ 55 per person was reasonable with this volume. There was a wide variety of wines and it was very delicious. I will come back again (^^) (Original) ウエストパースで1番美味しいイタリアンレストラン。貴族の邸宅を改装した店内はとっても雰囲気があって居心地が良い。ランチタイムに訪問してランチコースを注文した。たくさんある前菜、メイン、デザートからそれぞれ1種類を選択する方式。どの料理もシェフのこだわりが感じられ、満足のいく味だった。メイン料理はうさぎや赤ちゃん山羊、あひるなどジビエ料理を思わせる食材が多くて面白かった。デザートはワゴンサービスで好きなものを選べるよ。これだけのボリュームで1人55ドルはリーズナブルだと感じた。ワインの種類も豊富でとても美味しかったよ。また戻ってきます(^^)
