Comments of Ramen Ichiraku

This restaurent started 3 years ago. Today, we tried both the Signature Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen ($17.5) and Truffle Tonkotsu Ramen ($20), and the taste was not bad. In future, we will request a hotter soup and a softer ramen. The tonkotsu broth was quite tasty but saltier. The ramen was a bit hard as we were not given the choice of choosing the noodle to be cooked in either soft or medium texture. The pork was tasty, flavourful, and tender. The service was good. There was neither table chilli powder nor Shichimi given, we had to request for it. Any improvement in the future will be good. Good cosy environment and soft music. The street parking ticket was $3/1P. Cheers! (2021-08)

The the special sodas, the sides and the ramen were all so lovely! After going vegan I wasn’t sure I’d be able to eat ramen like I used to so I am so glad I came here :) the vegan cheeseburger gyoza was the highlight of my first trip to Ramen Ichiraku, what a wonderful idea. Pictured is the vegan shoyu and lychee Sakura soda ❤️

The place is small, everyone in your group is required to be present before you're seated, which is a bit if a hassle for big groups unless its well coordinated. They don't do reservations, but we've made it work with groups of 7 to 11 people.
While you wait for the seat outside, its a good idea to peruse the menu before being seated because the orders were taken before seating (this was likely an adaptation due to covid times).
The vegan food is flavourful, with well seasoned broths and the mockmeats artfully made. A delight to dine in as always. Highly recommend the vegan fried chicken.
C.
Great authentic Japanese ramen shop, it was very delicious. They do have a lot options even for vegetarians or vegan. That’s an huge plus, cos most of the ramen shops around perth, didn’t even have any vegetarian ramen options on their menu.
Staff is very friendly and polite, it feels like you’re in japan in a ramen store:)
Highly recommended place

Pros: standalone vegan menu with various choices of Ramen!
Cons: in this current situation you will need to wait till your entire party arrives before being seated. You also need to order before being seated.
We tried the Ton Ton and Dragon ramen, both were enjoyable. If you can handle spice I'd go for level 4 heat on the dragon ramen as 3 wasn't trouble.
All in all, recommended trying.

Been here twice and both times had the vegan red dragon ramen - man is it spicy! Not sure how some people can say it is weak or not spicy, I was dying (but in a good way)! Had level 4 first time, learnt my lesson and went for level 2 the second time, both times crying and wiping my nose - and I LOVE spicy food and eat bird's eye chilis as snacks!
My partner had the vegan truffle ramen which he said, and I quote, "might be the most delicious thing" he's ever eaten. Delicious and satisfying both times and service was prompt and friendly.

I had a take away dinner with my family we all enjoyed our meals which were brought out to us very quickly. We were very happy with the experience.

Very lovely Vegan Ramen. For $20, could do with some more veggies compared to noodles which was overpowering , but maybe that's normal in ramen world, so just go see for yourself.
I've added corn for an extra $2. Service was quick as one must leave in an hour as per the directions on the window.
B.
I loved the selection of vegan ramen 🍜! Very unique! Good ramen and nice Japanese staff
R. F.
quite a decent range in their menu, with a pretty good vegan option list. their Ramen (the ones we've tried at least) are not exactly the best we've had, but its still pretty good, and at a decent sized portion. their small eats (nibbles) though were really good, and so were the drinks they have on menu. staff here were very friendly and helpful too.

Found this place to try out. Nice cosy little place in Northbridge. Has three free parking spots just in front of its store front.
Welcomed by cute Mr Ramen the mascot of the store. Takoyaki were small in comparison to other places I've had them but tasty. The Gyuoza too were on the small side.
The ramen noodles (I don't think) were made fresh on the premises. Again servings were rather small compared to the another ramen store in town.
Overall a pleasant experience.
N. B.
Very tasty lunch, will definitely go again. I had the Red Dragon spicey ramen (level 3) spice level was good and goes upto level 5.... If you dare!!
J. H.
Always delicious, fast and well priced. Staff are friendly and explain the ordering process well. A little bit of a walk from the cbd but definitely worth it
M. B.
This place offers 6 vegan options and I couldn’t ask for more. We tried the Vegan Truffle Ramen and the Signature Hakata Tonkotsu. The vegan broth was light and the truffles were delicious. The Tonkotsu ramen was good paired with spicy pulled pork. The portion size was a little on the smaller size though. There’s street parking but you might have to look around a bit.
T. L.
Fantastic place for ramen! They also have special offers on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We went on a Wednesday and got free extra noodles. Chicken karrage is delicous.

We had a good experience here, though not to the kids liking. Wife and thought they would be good, the generally like Japanese cuisine.
The restaurant is tucked away from the main restaurant strip, kinda reminded us of Japan. The quirky decor inside is very much inline with typical Japanese restaurants.
Ordering is done through an iPad and very easy to follow system. Please note the don’t have a kids menu.
I ordered the Black Truffle Tonkotsu, my goodness I enjoyed this, what a combo! Love truffle! I also ordered sides of shiitake mushrooms and spicy pork, both were good additions for me.
My wife ordered signature Hakata Tonkotsu, she also enjoyed her dish very much!
My eldest had the curry king, we all agreed this is an acquired taste, and we didn’t enjoy very much, eldest said it was too sweet and the curry was too much after a few spoonfuls. So if you are a fan of Japanese curry, this is your dish.
My youngest had the teriyaki chicken she enjoyed it but the teriyaki sauce here, was not to her liking.
Staff a friendly and the prices are reasonable and in-line with other Ramen restaurants
All in all, my wife and I will be back, but maybe without the kids next time...🤔

I love coming here for vegan ramen and my partner loves the vegan meat options (he always enjoys the vegan katsu bento).
Sizes are quite generous. Ramen comes in huge bowls and is very filling. Service is great and there are really good specials for each day of the week. The lotus chips are great too!
M. S.
Cute little place, lovely decor. They do have vegan options to choose from. Menu is outside the restaurant and you can have a look before entering. They got Covid measures in place like checking temperature while entering, sanitizers and then ordering at same time before taking seat. Serving portion is decent and food was delicious 🤤
M. A.
Solid ramen just off the main beat in Northbridge.
Good selection of ramen as well as other options. I was made aware that they have vegan options available by the couple family next to me who spoke very loudly (as if others were listening) about how vegan and interesting they were.
I really enjoyed all of my meat-based meals and commented very loudly on just how succulent my chasu pork was and how rich my tonkotsu broth was.
Cream lychee Soda was a nice curve ball.
Keen to come back and try some more non-vegan dishes.
M. K.
Went there for dinner. I got the Fire Dragon (spicy noodles) and my wife got the Signature Hakata Tonkatsu. We also shared an order of Gyoza. Each of the noodles was 16.50, the Gyoza was 10.
Everything tasted pretty good.
J. P.
The food is fantastic here!! Generous serving portions on mains as well as sides. Great value for price and service was top notch! Would definitely return and recommend to anyone wanting a great ramen fix.
Their Red Dragon is the bomb (p/s: don't go above level 2 unless you're super confident, advice from Malaysian/Singaporean)
T. C.
Decent prices. Friendly staff. Fast preparation.
Pictured is signature ramen Hakata Tonkotsu, pork ramen, and vegan Tan Tan ramen.
Edamame beans and vegan "chicken" karage, delicious!
The Green bottle is melon ramune, a Japanese fizzy drinks, and a mocktail pina colada in the glass jar.
Not a huge venue, but turn around is quick. Enjoy!
j. f.
Great ramen place! It's a bit hidden but a worthy find. Their Signature Hakata Tonkotsu is amazing and their Tan Tan Ichiraku Ramen has a creamy, nutty taste. The place is not too crowded and service is fast and efficient. Prices of ramen range from $14 to $17. Sides, drinks and desserts are also available. Will comeback to try other flavours.
M. E. C.
Good and abundant serve of ingredients. Broth is rich and creamy. Loved the karaage. A hole in the wall but definitely worth to go to.❤️ Ramen lovers will love this Naruto inspired ramen house.
L. L.
The ramen is very yummy. You order on the iPad which is pretty cool. Was nice and quiet on Sunday evening so I got my food very quickly. A little pricey hence only 4 stars. I would definitely go back again.
D. S.
About 2 weeks ago i got the truffle chashu tonkatsu ramen. But with loads of extras. Shiitake mushrooms black garlic oil egg extra nori extra chashu pork . Dad got the curry king. I was surprised by how much i liked the mushroom.
I despise mushroom but it was very low on flavour and chewy. Like a meat substitute a meat eater wouldnt mind if the soup was meat flavoured.
I like japan although im aussie to the bone and i went thanks to the name. I've been to chows in the city to try ramen as naruto from the series loved ramen from a shop called itchiraku ramen and i had to try it. The ramen from chows came out cold. I was disappointed but seeing this place was called ramen itchiraku i had to give it another go and this was hot and so different from any food im used to. It was certainly classy food. But so out of my comfort zone i didnt know if i liked it. Loads of umami flavour. Iv heard so much about it i had to try the truffle loaded with umami. They say earthy whats that mean but theres no easy way to describe it. Like the taste of filtered water from a river or the smell of rain just as it starts falling.
My conclusion they deserve the 4 stars however my pallet isnt used to the flavour. If i didnt want to be fair and judge new food negatively id give it a lower score. But just because i havent grown up in japan and its not my cup of tea doesnt mean there great food should get a lower rating. I tried dads curry king as well. Its like mums curry as in no flavours expected in a curry was missing but theres another dimension to it. I think they make there own curry powder from scratch from the seeds and grind it in store. It tastes rich and fresh. The only let down is the grinding isnt fine enough or the flavour should be sieved out in a tea bag as the texture could be felt in the mouth. Again that might be traditional and the way its done in japan but if it wasnt for that id call it the best curry iv had by a small margin but first place is still first place.
J. H.
This place made me feel like I was back on holiday in Japan. Fantastic Ramen too.
C.
I have been here multiple times and its fast becoming my favourite restaurant for a guaranteed delicious lunch.
The staff remembered me on repeat visits which is really nice.
But to the good part. There is a FULL COMPLETE VEGAN MENU!! if you're vegetarian or vegan there is not only one option for you, there's 20+!!
I had the imitation squid last time and it was super yummy. I'm slowly working my way through their entire menu. I wish uber eats reached my house from there.
You can get uber eats from there if you don't want to go out and I highly recommend it.
C. G.
I was not disappointed! The ramen was so yummy, quick service and friendly staff. 🍜😍👌
A. V.
Best Ramen ive had and also a very good vegan bento box!
C. N.
Having read the review in Urban List, we gave Ramen Ichiraku a try.
I will only give it 7/10 with the following comment:
Truffle style soup was nice but salty.
Soup was not hot.
No choice of Noodle texture.
M. T.
Good service and good, this place is primarily good due to its vegan Ramen options, I tried red dragon level 3 spice and it was good but abit heavy on the miso flavour, prefer a rich tonkotsu broth.
J. H.
Price (4/5)
Normal ramen pricing. Roughly 17 for a bowl with egg, meat and black fungus.
Food (4/5)
Good ramen but nothing special. It taste average, would be a good choice for a quick meal. Soup was nice but for the spicy ramen, the soup can be a bit too salty for some.
Service (5/5)
Good customer service, very polite and friendly staff and food came quickly as well.
Atmosphere (5/5)
Clean and neat place but it’s a little small. So do take note if you are coming in large group or peak hours.
Overall (4/5)
The place is pretty hidden around the corner but it has good food. Although there are better ramen out there with similar pricing, it’s still recommended if you are craving for ramen and is somewhere near the area.
T. T.
Had a dinner with my Vegan friend cause so hard to find a vegan ramen around. My Truffle normal ramen was too salty. The broth is OK, but i couldn't finish it the soup cause extremely salty. My vegan friend also doesn't really like the mushroom broth on his truffle vegan ramen cause a bit salty and sweet. Not sure what the flavour is. Pretty standard. But i don't think we wanna come back to Ichiraku. Sorry.
H. S. O.
Ordered the signature tonkatsu. Pleasantly surprised. Would come back again to try the others
Parking was abit scarce so had to park a distance and walked.
Service was quick and friendly. Water is self service which isn't a problem.
J. G.
Ordered the Vegan Kaarage chicken bento box from uber eats and it was incredibly tasty! So hard to find places that sell vegan fried chicken and I was very impressed with my meal. Portion size for $19 was also very worth it! If you’re vegan and missing a Japanese classic, this is the place to go ☺️
E. E.
The food at Ramen Ichiraku is delicious. They have a completely separate regular and vegan menu. I have eaten Shoyu Truffle ramen, Vegan Red Dragon ramen, Vegan Cheeseburger Gyoza and regular Vegan Gyoza, and they are full of flavour. Meals come out quickly.
This business takes COVID 19 and social distancing very seriously. To stop people from handling menus, they have two big screens outside with the menu, so you can look at all the options there, then you go inside and the host will put your order into an iPad. They also have app check in, hand sanitiser and when Perth is under COVID restrictions, they will take your temperature.
M. S.
Staff was very friendly. I wasn't aware this was a popular ramen place, so it got busy quickly and the atmosphere was noisy. The food is great for Japanese ramen in Perth, but just average if I were to compare it with Japan. Dad really liked the karage bento though.
K. E.
Food was slow to come, even on a quiet night. Tried the vegan course special on wednesday, ramen-just OK
P. N.
The food was fantastic. Flavour was great also. If you like hot food try the red dragon at rank 3 to start with, there is a great spice blend among the condiments to bring the heat up. Service was great and the vegan options my partner loved. We will be going back for more, maybe even tomorrow :)
M. J. K.
Amazing menu.
I ordered a satay ramen (I've forgotten the name) and the flavour was amazing. I loved the peanut flavour to the ramen. The consistency of the noodles is what I consider perfect for a ramen.
I found it quite spicy/hot - I'm typically sensitive with spicy food but my stomach was able to digest this one without issue thankfully :).
We ordered a side of lotus chips which were crunchy and warm and compliment the ramens soupy experience.
I also ordered a Japanese cream soda which is like what I called a 'spider' growing up (ice cream + lemonade), with cream instead of ice cream. Mixing the cream causes it to fizz so care is advised to avoid spilling any! This went well with the satay ramen to help keep my mouth from being too spiced out.
K. S.
Super tasty vegan options and relaxing atmosphere
B. L.
Having come over from Melbourne, admittedly we had resigned to the fact that we would be missing out on great vegan ramen. Turns out we were totally wrong.
Ramen Ichiraku had some of the best ramen I have ever had, including our travels through Japan. We had the curry and truffle bowls, and they were spectacular.
Will definitely be back!
P.
Amazing as always. Best vegan ramen. We had the Red Dragon, level 2 and was a perfect mix of slightly hot and flavoursome. Also the vegan popcorn chicken comes with a delicious sauce. We also enjoyed their miso summer Ramen which could not get enough of. Highly recommend.
B. H. G.
A small, somewhat hidden ramen restaurant with decent ramen. Currently not taking bookings so you may have to wait. I have been here a couple times before and have enjoyed my meal each time. This time i got the red dragon level 2 spicy (3 was just a bit too much before). Oddly it wasnt even that spicy, i expected a lot more. Perhaps they have toned things down as the last time i went was last year. I felt i could have gone level 4 this time (level 5 max). Otherwise it was flavourful and noodles were good. My partner got the signature tonkotsu but it was not as good as expected, almost abit bland. The gyozas were delicious and karaage was pretty good too. In my opinion a solid ramen restaurant.
J. t. g.
The best ramen I've ever hay 100% recommend anyone to eat here
M. B.
Love this place! I have been looking for vegan or vegetarian ramen. And I found it! Worth a try.
S. P.
When we arrived, we had to wait to be seated due to COVID restrictions but the wait wasn’t too long and they were very good at communicating estimated times. You ordered as you walked in so you had to read the menu out the front but honestly, it really added to the efficiency of the whole affair. The aesthetic inside was really cute! It’s awkwardly located but definitely worth checking out!
C. W.
Ramen Ichiraku was pretty good! I thought the food was nice and it had a pleasant atmosphere. A place you could really take your friends for brunch or a night out.
This is the only Ramen place I've been to in Perth but I'm happy I went because I had a fun night. Although comparing it to the Ramen I had in Japan it's no match xp but definitely a must try experience! Not to mention the service was fantastic!
D. E.
Too many conditions in order to book a table for 8. Starters were okay, main courses very average with little taste difference between different dishes. Dessert was mostly good. A but rich with their corkage. We went, we tried it, but none of us will hurry back.
K. W.
This was my first Ramen Dining Experience. Went for dinner on a Sunday Evening with my Partner and found the service to be exceptional, all the staff wore a smile and were very bubbly. We ate Chicken Karaage & Edamame Beans as a starter and both had Hakata Tonkotsu for a main. Both meals were very well-cooked, presented and tasted amazing. Definitely recommended and can't wait to dine here again next time we are in Perth!
J. A.
A whole vegan menu. SO good! Loved it.
A. S.
Was really excited to try their vegan ramen, and especially the Red Dragon dish as we love spicy foods but we were let down. We chose 3/5 for spice as there were so many warnings on menu and website about how 4+ is extremely spicy... our dish was tasty but not even a mild spice which was really surprising and disappointing - along with ramen we also ordered their gochijang noodles on the special page for $17... this dish was tiny, small serve of noodles, hardly any sauce (not very flavorsome) and light on the toppings. More expensive than the ramen, and we ended up pouring it all into the same bowl!
R. W.
Definitely one of the top tasting Ramen in Perth. Seating is spacious both inside and outside. However street parking can be difficult. Very easy to order, the staff will passed you an iPad and all you do is select your option. Portion is on the small side compare to those of East Vic Park and Milligan St. Price wise same, so can say it toward the expensive side of Ramen. Taste is top notch.
A. V.
This place really lives up to it's name. A true hidden gem in Perth and a must try for vegetarians. The service, quality and taste truly is a number one comfort for those feeling the effects of this city's somewhat lacklustre offerings. Thank you!
T. K.
This place has very good Ramen. There are also vegan options available, plus vegan desserts. The dragon breath (level 3) was quite spicy, and is a good starting point for those who like chilli, however it may have been a mistake eating this in a day when it was in the 30s. I've also had one of the broth-less dishes which was much better in hot weather.
J. F.
Food was great and easy to eat! I really loved their creaming soda that was home made that really hit the spot. Well so did the ramen!
J. G.
This place is tucked away on the corner of Monger Street in a quaint little building. As soon as you walk through the door, all staff that can see you instantly greet you. Menus are grabbed, they bring you to a table, and you are given the choice between a standard or vegan menu, plus the specials menu where almost every choice has a vegan option too!
Once you've looked at the menus for a few minutes, you are brought an iPad which you can then use to place your order. It's full of images and descriptions of the foods available, making it very easy to spend a lot of coin here.
My partner ordered the Signature Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, while I ordered the vegan Red Dragon. On the side there was vegan faux chicken Karaage, and Tempura vegetables. The food is absolutely amazing. I have never had a complaint or even suggestion to make a change at this restaurant. There dessert choices are absolutely divine as well, again with many vegan choices.
I was joyous to find such a fantastic ramen joint with professional staff, a great atmosphere, and so many vegan options. This has become one of my favourite places to go in Perth. Keep up the incredible work everyone!
M. J.
This is the go to place for all my vegan friends and me as well. They have excellent vegan ramen and also a good range of other vegan options. The secret is out and the vegan community rave about Ramen Ichiraku. Wednesday $20 Vegan Special is fantastic value! Vegan options available all week round! Perth Vegan scene is getting better and better. It’s all thanks to good restaurants like these who cater for everyone. Keep serving the vegan dishes and don’t let the few discourage you.
G. G.
Absolutely delicious. I had the dragon ramen. The bbq pulled pork was so delicious. I also had extra charsu was amazing. We also got the karaage which is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. 10/10.
I love how you order via the iPad so you can customise the order.
I will be back for sure!
T. R.
Very polite staff, both vegan and non vegan menus, food came out very quickly!! Tasted amazing! First time at Ichiraku and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!
A. C.
It's like a hidden place which is so close to the city but away from the lights. It's a little secluded but the food is delicious. Cheery on top - you get an entire selection of japanese vegan meals, which is very hard to find.
S. D.
Went at around 2pm and it was still busy. Although the staff there were really bust they were very helpful and friendly towards us always having a smile even as we exited the door. The food came out quite quickly and it was one of the best ramen in Perth. The chicken karaage was so crispy and delicious, so was the pork gyoza so juicy on the inside. As for the ramen there were no words to describe the wonderful taste of the soup and noodles cooked to perfection. Would definately be going back again and would recommend for ramen/Japanese food lovers.
B. H.
My favourite place for Ramen in Perth. The only downside being that it's so good and everybody knows it so you might have to wait a little while for a table. They have a great selection of ramen, as well as brothless ramen which is what i always get and am never disappointed. They also have vegan options which is a nice surprise, and even have a special vegan day, though I can't remember which day that is. Highly recommended!
A. N.
Parking is restricted to street and metered. The place is small but yet spacious seating. Services is fast, self ordered using their IPad. The mushroom side dish is smokingly good, the main dish is very good, but size wise smaller then those of Northbridge and Vic Park.
J. L.
Visited Ramen Ichiraku around 5 times and they've been consisted with their meals. I always go for the Signature Tonkotsu that is very rich in flavour.
My partner loves their Red Dragon, take the waitress warning when they say level 5 is HOTT. Spicy but very very delicious.
The interior is cozy and the staff is super friendly and accommodating.
H. A.
Only the best place to stop for a meal in all of Perth. Friendly service, fantastic food, barely any wait time, and a great atmosphere. Love it everytime.
J. C.
Their Ramen is made fresh everyday and tastes amazing. Easily a 5/5. Just wish their takoyaki were either just a bit bigger.. or that you get more then 5 small ones.. like maybe 7 or 8 rather then just 5. Other Ramen places I've been to do 6 and they're a fair bit bigger then these ones. But other then that, Ichiraku has got some of the best Ramen around and is generally my favourite place to go for it.
P. K.
YOu can get ramen at several places in Perth. But this is a dedicated ramen restaurant that specialises in the tonkotsu type.
There are dozens of varieties of ramen and each is subtely different from the others.
The stock here is super delicious. One time I went there, it had a black squid ink stock, which apart from being quite unusual tasted spectacular.
In summer it serves, cold ramen (you dip it in the sauce before putting into your mouth) that is also delicious.
If you have room, try the many desserts. The ramune, or Japanese soda, is also worth having.
It's a mid-price sort of place and probably a bit more expensive than other places. But worth it in my opinion.
S. M.
Yummiest Ramen in Perth! Really delicious flavours. We had their signature one as well as their takoyaki and gyoza. Both full of flavour and super fresh! The staff are also beautiful and polite. Really enjoyed it and will be back :)
R. C.
Had the Red Dragon, medium spice. Very very salty to the point of sickly, and not so spicy. Gyoza were mighty though. Lovely staff and service 👍
Y. W.
Menu is overpriced and shoyu was bland compared to other ramen places. Red God ramen was very good but portion sizes leave a lot to be desired
M. R.
Fantastic Ramen, we happened upon this place when we found out Lucky Chan's no longer do Ramen. Was not disappointed, great service and delicious food.
S. C.
Great food, at an affordable price and great customer service. Would highly recommend. Food includes both Meat and Vegan, Meat options are wider in variety. Excellent meals everytime been here lots.
Again we came great service on Sunday 10th June 2018 at approximately 8pm, great service and great band on the speakers. I would highly recommend this place. :)
R. N.
A gorgeous little Ramen house with well-crafted and delicious meals. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and the cutest little mascot you've ever seen. Reservations recommended. Look forward to returning.
T. D.
Long lines due to high demand so make sure you plan ahead. Good menu with a good range. The broths are very traditional!
K. P.
Delicious ramen with vegan options available and super fast service
R. B.
All the yes. If you like ramen, this place should be on your list
S. B.
Satisfied my ramen craving! No regrets at all!
J. L.
The ramen is not what I would come here for. Their fried foods are on point.
Japanese ramen usually have either bonito or meat base but they've managed to have vegan options for these.
T. S.
Myself and wife are regular customers, their ramen are just perfect for our taste, and they have been doing great in keeping it consistent. I just recently switched to Red Dragon for that extra spice after being a Rich Hakata Tonkotsu faithful since they first opened.
Today we had another lunch session and I tried the Yakiniku Wagyu Beef donburi and wife had the usual Red Dragon. Really glad that we finally found something that actually tastes like wagyu beef in Perth. Those beef slices literally melt in our mouth and mix really well with the sauce and salad (would love to get more slices though :D) Wifey's Red Dragon and extra chashu are great as usual. The honey yuzu and fuji apple drink were good as well.
Overall a pleasant experience, definitely be coming back. Might try the Karaage donburi next time.
S. W.
This place gets better by the day. Good ramen range, mazemen also available and now they got tsukemen as well. My wife is vegan and she loves this place! Heaps of vegan options and she loved the trio mushroom and vegan cheese korokke and the tempura vegetables. They also do fresh sodas. I tried the summer special mango soda and it was on point. Highly recommend anyone who loves ramen especially vegans who like enjoy ramen as well.
u. n.
a very good, slightly hidden ramen place! lovely atmosphere. the inside is a bit loud for me, but they have outside dining, and my friends really love the chillhop tracks
A. G.
Brilliant Ramen and great easy service. The chicken karaage was also brilliant. Will come back! Best Ramen place in Perth I have been yet.
A.
very impressed that theres a whole vegan menu, not a lot of ramen places have this ! I accidentally ate chicken there though which was unfortunate and when I asked for a new bento box, they just took the chicken out and replaced it with veg chicken
J. C.
Signature ramen was nice, very tasty, maybe too tasty (similar to how ribs from Tony Roma's is too tasty).
Wife had the yakiniku beef don, was ok but the serving size was on the small size.
We still haven't found somewhere better than Dosukoi at Freo markets.
A. H.
The vegan food was very ordinary. The shoyu ramen: Small portion and flavour was bland. The vegan croquet: very oily.. the filling could be better. 3 stars for trying and have a whole vegan menu though.
M. L.
🤤

The tonkotsu ramen here is one of the best I've had in Perth! Lots of good ramen places opening up and this is definitely one of them! I had it in a $17 special with a original ramune. Nicely priced. Very strong broth and egg game is definitely best I've seen. Firm egg whites and runny yolk! Sweeter in taste just like a ajitsuke egg should be. Can't fault this meal and for $17 it's a bargain.

I love that these guys do a full vegan menu. My meat rating friends said they preferred my faux chicken karaage to the real chicken one. The ramen is tasty and lots of options.
K. D.
Interesting menu items. Had the vegan truffle ramen. Delicious. Service fast and efficient. Would go again.
J. P.
Went there with a friend to try their spicy ramen. Service was good but wait time for the food was long. Just a heads up for those wanting to try the ramen out, anything above level 3 is for spice veterans
S. C.
Great food... Must try the chicken Karaage
T. L.
The ramen broth could be hotter but the flavour of their spicy broth is amazing and the spicy pork is to die for. Don't really rate the chashu. We keep coming back for more!
M. L.
Great service and atmosphere. The noodles where bland and tasted like pre made mass produced. The broth was otherwise quite average. Can not compare to the real thing in japan
N.
Variety of vegan options are available at a decent price. Good place to go for a japanese dinner. Make sure you book beforehand, the place is usually fully reserved.
H.
Amazing ramen and friendly service.
Well worth the short wait - limited seating to adhere to COVID restrictions is understandable and appreciated.
P. L.
Spartan place, menu can be re-printed in a better way.
Ramen passable, rich tonkotsu looks tick at the beginning but was flat and oily at the end.
The spicy one was good because of the amount of chilly powder.
Gyoza..... Not good at all
Have time to improve... Will come back and ceck
M. G.
Amazing food and staff. Love the fact that everything on the menu has a vegan alternative, so you can choose such if you desire without missing out.
E. D.
Amazing delicious food in this no fuss, simple Japanese eatery. A must visit for vegans. Make it your go to Japanese Ramen place.
T. R.
Love the vegan ramen. Also, the vegan ice cream is probably the best ice cream I've had since going vegan... Maybe the best ice cream I've ever had!
M. P.
Food was okay bit salty but not much of customer service. Also saw waitress refused pregnant lady to sit down to wait and refuse to have egg yolk properly cooked when requested......
D. C.
Vegan Ramen is hard to find! If you are looking for Vegetarian or Vegan Ramen this is the place to go in Perth. Friendly staff.
D. T.
Absolutely delicious food!! Truly the best ramen I’ve had in Perth. Had a great vegan menu, too.
D. L.
Authentic. Japanese. Ramen. Need i say more? You will begin to find ikigai by eating here, no doubt. Aright Gozaimasu Ichiraku Ramen!

S. H.
Food was amazing, but for groups of more than 4 you have to sit outside, which is not the nicest in the middle of a summer's day
M. C.
