Edit: Since writing this review, San Churro Leederville have reached out to me to explain that they have recently changed their lemon, lime and bitters recipe and they will be improving staff training to ensure that there are no further issues. I am really impressed with how they handled this feedback and have updated my review to reflect this. The chocolate desserts are always good here but I tried a lemon, lime and bitters the other night and it was completely awful. It was made with soda water, some sort of lemon, lime and bitters syrup thing which had hardly any flavour and half a lemon cut up and chucked on top with way too much ice. For $7.50 I felt completely ripped off. Stick to the chocolate here.

This is a super popular place for a reason. Fantastic, efficient staff. They have the usual San Churros products, ie churros, hot chocolate, gift chocolates, etc. For me, the coffee is perfect and always comes with latte art! Have to take off a star. Since the revamp in 2021, we don't like the seating area as much or the coffees in the overlarge mugs. :-o

I love coming here. Everything is always delicious and amazing, but tonight one staff member really did San Churros Leederville proud. I had taken the lid off my takeaway Classic Spanish to cool it a bit (always buy takeaway, as I can never get through a whole one in one sitting! ) and had managed one sip before I knocked the whole thing over, burning my hand and pouring steaming hot chocolate all over my pants, jumper, hand bag, the wall and floor. I sat there stunned while my hand burned and my friend leapt into action, alerting one of the women who worked there, and grabbing a wad of paper towels to help me mop up. The staff member was so kind and helpful. She brought a wet cloth to cool my hand and helped us clean up, bringing me a takeaway bag to put my handbag in, and even went so far as to get me a new drink, even though the whole thing was my fault. She told me not to worry about the mess and made sure I was okay before leaving us to our drinks, even though I could see it was a busy night for the cafe. Even though I was sitting there shocked, a bit damp and covered in chocolate, my friend (who was visiting for one night from interstate) and I still had a great night thanks to that staff member. Thank you for going above and beyond. Your kindness and assistance made our chocolate night all the sweeter. 💕🍫 💕

Food was pretty good, but the service was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. I was a bit unsure on how much to order and what to get however the lovely person behind the counter (Freya I think her name was) was more than happy to help and took the time even tho I’m sure I was a pain. Was avoiding this place. I thought I'd be disappointed and overloaded... We had the platter; under $20. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with value and flavour. Betweern two of us, we were able to pick our favourites... and will be back! Yes, a sweet tooth would be a BIG advantage!

Great coffee, those churros are deadly with the chocolate dipping sauce, great treat Update 2/2018 Public holiday surcharge of 15% so an iced coffee is nearly $10, rip off. RIP OFF. Seriously u are taking folks for a ride. You've lost me as a customer.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The ambience is great, the staff are of spanish heritage, the chocolate is JUST AMAZING and I cannot fault the service. It is located on the main cafe strip so parking is a little rare and the store is quite small, it often gets more customers than it has chairs to accomodate. Best way to get around both of these factors is to head there mid morning or mid afternoon. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Great place to have a coffee or a hot chocalte! They also have this delicious mango sorbet which is ideal for this hot wheather at the moment in Australia. Its a nice place ro sit down and have a chat while having a good chocolate.

Oh my god, i don't even know where to start.. their desserts are absolutely amaaazing!!! The last time i was there i had something like a hod fudge brownie with strawberries and it was sooo good. Also it is located in the middle of northbridge which is very convenient. I can only suggest going there and try it yourself
