Out of all the San Churros I've tried, this one is the best so far. Good portions for the price, especially the hot chocolates (options for lactose intolerance, gluten free and vegans!). If you're in northbridge, it's worth a visit. A nice hot chocolate, coffee or something a bit food naughty 🍰☕🍫 caters for all!

I know this place always busy, lots of people, I know it's yummy, but I'll just give 3 stars as the taste tbh just normal churros with dipping chocolate sauce and some side fruits. Not so affordable, and the staff, I won't say that they are unfriendly but they act like super model or something really high class and cool.

Went in to ease the churros craving. Ordered churros for one for myself & my partner. They always serve their churros freshly cooked so it’s crunchy, hot & fresh. Also, their couverture chocolate dips are lovely. We always get the dark chocolate one which isn’t overly sweet & complements the churros very well. Not for me though. I didn't mind the puffy and crispy churros, but once dunked into the thick white chocolate sauce and dark chocolate sauce, I just couldn't. Overly sweet. Friends however loved every bit of the chocolate shake. Each ordered a different type, and they strawed up every bit. The other friend also didn't mind the cappuccino latte. Will I return to San Churro, as to this outlet or any of the rest. I doubt. Sugary sweet stuff is my call.

Alright customer service I went there with my boyfriend not long ago and had some churros, they were tasty as usual. We just had to wait a little bit longer that usual coz they were busy. Had an awesome first date at San Churro on a freezing cold night! Definitely warmed ourselves up with the amazing hot chocolate and churros. I would recommend the Azteca to anyone who loves a kick to their food or drink, the salted caramel truffle was divine, the churros were crunchy and soft inside, with a beautiful side of melted milk chocolate dipping sauce... Make sure you sign up to El Social and work towards getting yourself a free drink on your 6th visit. Couldn't fault a thing!

The Cappuccino and Churros here are really appetizing. For your best experience, I would definitely recommend everyone to have a sip of coffee before you dip that churros into the dips as it can be a little overwhelming which can overpower the coffee. Overall, had a great experience here, brought all my friends and family from my home country and they had a great time. 😀😀

Just reaaaally bumbed out they no longer have Butterscotch 😢 7 months ago I was still able to order my ultimate fave The Churros Fluff with the choice of Butterscotch topping. Two months later during the summer holidays people working at San Churros started to get confused when I ordered and only the guys working their for a longer time knew what I was talking about and now I feel they just don't have it anymore and I get two caramel choices as an alternative but I still miss my beloved Butterscotch. BRING IT BACK PLEAAAAAASE.

Went on the day they had a new menu so I tried the hot choc with the exploding ball and it was so good. Service was a bit slow but the staff we friendly. The music was a bit soft but the couch was comfy and the place was rather clean.

Delicious churros and chocolate dips, I came few times. The only annoying thing is that inside it is really really noisy with or without music, the high ceiling just bounces all the conversations and sounds, making it a chaotic place. They should do something about soundproofing, like hanging panels on the ceiling to break down the sound waves. Also total respect for the young kids working there (I think most of them are under 18), I guess no one wants to work in such a busy place for such a low pay... seeing the struggle in the eyes of the staff members, like trying to find out who ordered what since there are no numbers given when taking orders. One staff member was at least asking three tables before finding the right customer, what a shame that the management doe not do anything about it. Either give a number to each table or give a number to each order, no need to revolutionate the world!

Those of you who have been to San churro have a good idea what the place is like. This particular cafe in Northbridge have pleasant staff, clean interior & is quite popular on weekends. I had a piece of banana cake that was heated with a salted caramel centre with whipped cream instead of ice cream a little expensive but it was delicious. As l waited l watched several hot chocolates & some coffee get waited out to a table they smelt fantastic & worth trying.

Positives: your open late! The coffee is good and comes with a nice tasty chocalate. The staff are nice and do a reasonably good job serving customers. Negatives: The pest control isn’t good there was a cockroach on the floor which a staff member killed right in front of me well I was trying to enjoy my coffee. The music was to loud! So turn it down. The other thing annoying me is the fact I come weekly and you ask where are you sitting. It’s pretty obvious right in front of the counter! Do not ask that question again!

Great place for a get together. Myself and 6 other mates made use of the All You Can Eat Churros offer and we were not disappointed. In total we got through about 10 churros each. Harder than it looks. It was a bit too warm in there and the staff didn't exactly seem happy to see us but that's to be expected when a gaggle of teenagers saunter into a restaurant with the intent of bankrupting them through sheer willpower and Iron Guts. Nice place, Northbridge can be a bit dodgy after 10ish PM but nothing too bad.

I'll start by saying that this place has the most delicious food ever. The portions are sizeable and very well priced. However, the big let down was the customer service. The staff were visibly at breaking point. We saw one young man serving on the till, taking orders and money, taking food to tables, sorting problems with food on tables, cleaning tables and then running back and serving another customer at the till. All this when he queue for the till had around 7-10 people in who looked very puzzled at how much he was doing!

Dessert is always yummy here, however my group was disappointed in the service last night. There were only two staff on attempting to serve a large queue. We sat for quite a while before our drinks and desserts were brought out ... cold. It did leave a bad taste when we realised they had been prioritising their ubereats deliveries while our orders sat on the counter behind waiting. Maybe another staff member is needed to keep up with the ubereats so that in-restaurant patrons feel valued and are served well?

The view onto James St is plain during the day but vibrant on the weekend evenings as Northbridge comes alive and it's proximity to Northbridge Piazza makes it a great spot to retreat to for food and reflection after an outdoor concert, display, or function.

You're greeted by generally polite and cheerful people, and the food is of the same reasonable quality as other San Churros. The best thing on the menu in my opinion is the strawberries with dark chocolate. So good.

The restaurant itself is quite nice. Large menu with many options. I was a bit disappointed thought, while they have the actual equipment to make churros, they don't taste the same as the ones in Spain. Maybe it's the Mexican recipe? I didn't really like them as the dough was kind of weirdly chewy/raw. Very odd texture. Churros only have flour, water, salt and maybe a tiny bit of olive oil in the dough. Thosrs ones tasted different, either the type of flour is wrong or something else is added (and/or is fried with the wrong oil?). Other than that, I really liked the ruby chocolate icecream and the couple options of dipping chocolates I tried. Reply: I've lived in Spain until I was 20, so I've had churros in a few regions. The ones in your restaurant don't taste like Porras either, that's why it was a bit disappointing. I was quite excited to eat there since I hadn't had proper churros in a while, but they're not so good. They're doughy/eggy. Sorry.

San Churro is essentially the yummiest place on earth. Their milkshakes are divine, the classic or Spanish hot chocolate is a small trip to heaven and the "hot 'n' cold", a Spanish hot chocolate with a scoop of white chocolate ice cream, is perfect for when you're a bit unsure whether you're after something warm or cold. The churros are great but with such a large selection of desserts I rarely pick them anymore and tend to go for a cake dessert or a sundae. The menu changes regularly so there's always a reason to come back. The only small criticism I have is that the last time I went in (on a Tuesday afternoon) there only appeared to be 2 staff members (there may have been 1 or 2 on lunch or off sick) and they were clearly struggling to keep up with orders. Having worked in customer service I know it was unlikely the fault of these two staff members so I wasn't upset about waiting a little longer but the shop may want to consider rostering more people on to keep up with small rushes on quiet afternoons. Despite this, still a lovely place to visit. Grab a dessert, walk next door to the grassy square in Northbridge where the screen is and sit down on a bean bag - bliss!

Imagine hot chocolate so thick and rich you have to eat it with a spoon. San Churro has been around for ages, I first visited one in Melbourne in 2008, but the Northbridge one is just as excellent. Exquisite churros, delicious boxed truffles. YUM! 1 star off for the overly boisturous and rowdy patrons the night I was there. I know San Churro can't help that, but I quickly got tired of hearing the F-word used a dozen times a sentence.
