Food was great most of the staff were great except one she was rude continue to complain about everything and trying to rush other staff. She really put me off. But the young man that served me was very polite and was doing his best. On a small counter and trying to make up 3 meals and being pushed by that other lady and as he was trying to as or tell me how it all worked she kept interrupted and was very rude. But over all good food and mostly good service.

We always go back for their Crispy Pata and Chicharon Bulaklak. So happy that a Filo restaurant opened nearby. The staff are always helpful too, very friendly and polite. Awesome customer service.

First off, these kinds of restaurants are rare. They're not doing something that everyone else is doing. It's not pizza, it's not fish and chips, it's not Chinese or Thai or Malaysian. It's a home-cooked roast.
I didn't think this kind of restaurant could exist outside of Bucking Bull. And they weigh each slice of meat individually, that's probably for portion size I'd imagine but you always tend to feel a bit cheaped out when they're weighing your meat but not tare-ing out the weight of the polystyrene plate.
That's what the competition does. Not Roast House. These guys are doing something new, something daring and risky.
They've taken the Sunday Roast out of the family room at Mum and Dads house and brought it to a restaurant. It even looks like it, if you ignore the Baine Marie. They've put effort into making a fine establishment, they've put effort into making sure there is value in what you order and they've certainly put the effort into their service.
From my few visits, it definitely appears to be a family run business, with mum on the carvery and kids on dishes, dad working the grill in the back. They're all lovely, friendly and welcoming staff and their service is excellent. If you're ever feeling a bit homesick for your folks overseas, come and dine in here, the lighting and the ambiance will make you feel at home.
The food will sure warm you up, there's multiple types of gravy on offer, roast vegetables, chips, yorkshire puddings, the works! There's baked potato and potato bake. There's cauliflower cheese and fresh baked rolls. There's brisket, pork belly, roast pork, roast beef, roast lamb and heck if you ask nicely they'll give you some crackling too.
I fear this restaurant won't last as their serving sizes are insanely generous and that can't be profitable with a fixed price meal, but more power to them to do it their way.
Alkimos Beach is a nice little estate, but I wouldn't be surprised if people come far and wide to find this little gem. Oh and I think they do potato gems too, if not, get on that guys 😁

Great value for money and food portions are decent sized for kids and adults. Food speaks volumes alot of freshly cooked meats and additions.
Been 4 times since opening will go back for more.

Finally sat down at the Roast House for dinner for the first time since it opened. The place makes you feel at home. I was readily greeted by a wonderful lady who explained to me all options on the menu. I decided to go for the dinner option and chose the beef brisket and pork belly. I couldn’t make up my mind as to which sides to choose so she suggested I get a little of everything, and I must say that was a fantastic idea! The meats were cooked to perfection and the sides flavourful. Even my toddler enjoyed the delicious food. I will be returning for more as I thought not only the food and service were impeccable but the size of the meal made it a great money value as well.
