The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We ordered chicken shawarma platter, beef shawarma platter, beef burgers, onion rings and mozzerolla sticks. All of them was excellent taste. Highly recommended. We will come back again.

A family member suggested for us to try the grill shack because they really enjoyed the food. The meal exceeded our expectations by far. We had a range of different burgers/subs/chicken wings and everything was delicious. The customer service was spot on as well. Very friendly and helpful with the menu. EDIT: somehow they made their burgers even better than they already were. Definitely the best burgers in Perth that I know of. Definitely recommend. This is a review from my 6-year-old daughter: "Those potato chips were DELISH with that tomato sauce so yummy yummy yummy. And the cooked wraps [pita] were delightful with the hummus but not with that olive oil. And the chicken [wings] with the sauce I loved so much, the sauce was a bit sticky I didn't really like it that much. Otherwise mostly the whole thing was delish. And I didn't like the falafel." My review as a 38-year-old adult: we just ordered hummus (with pita), falafel, chicken wings and a kids chicken nuggets. The highlights were the hummus (very nice, quite smooth and mild in taste, and an incredibly generous serve, I had to take a tub home) and great service from Sam. The falafel salad (contrary to my daughter's assessment) was pretty good, she just doesn't like falafel. Or salad. The kids chicken nuggets came with potato gems which is absolutely genius. Also quite a large serve. The lowlight was the chicken wings, I found the chicken a bit dry, and the crispy coating and BBQ sauce were a bit unexciting. I explained to Sam who was very understanding. Overall, food quality would be 4 stars but because it's very good value and friendly I'm bumping it up to 5 stars. I will be back to try other meals."

What sets The Grill Shack apart from the rest is the service, Sam and his crew greet you like family to ensure you are happy with your meal. Outstanding service with the best food. If you have room for desert the Italian Affogato is one of the best I have had in Perth, being one of my favourite deserts. Have been there twice already within a few weeks of opening. My partner and I have been searching for a burger joint for months and were not able to find one we liked. We stumbled upon The Grill Shak on Friday night as most places were closed and it was one of those nights to eat burgers and be happy. The owner was present and welcomed us wholeheartedly. Food was just mouth watering and meltilicious!!! Their "loaded chips" were to fight for and we also had most amazing hummus dip as well as baba ganoush. I am giving this place 6 starts but google only allows for 5. Well done Grill Shak. We will be back again.

I don't do Uber Eats or other delivery services, so wandered down for a late night meal. After a brief chat with the owner, he recommended the beef shawarma, which was prepared very quickly; a good thing because I was starving! Onto the food: the wrap was well packed, a lot more meat than I was expecting. The beef was very tasty and succulent. I think it could do with more salad to balance out the meat (but where to fit it in?) and a little less tahini, but that's my personal taste. The accompanying chips were good; a little on the dry side and could do with something to dip them in (mental note for next time). No napkin in the takeaway bag. Overall, friendly owner, good vibe, tasty food in a flash that is freshly cooked, easily beats the other options in this corner of Charles/SBR. I will be back!
