We came here for dinner. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Of course we checked in for COVID and had to show proof of double vaccination. We then ordered our meals and drinks. Wow! The meals came out really quick. They are pretty big serves. The cheeseburger pizza, Caesar salad & potato wedges were amazing. We enjoyed the food so much but was quite full so took the leftovers home. We'll be back again

Attended my son's wedding last night in the separate beer garden. The venue and food were fantastic. The place throughout was very busy and the atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definately be going back with my wife for dinner soon.

Love the brews on tap here. Great atmosphere and food tastes amazing. One should try the Bumnuts!! They're perfect on a hot day with a pint of IPA. Have already been there twice and would go again readily. Be ready for some crowd if going on a weekend. But pretty chill place. Would highly recommend booking a table if going as a group. Loads of space for the kids to run around. Very family friendly place.

Great food and atmosphere, the vegan meals actually seemed well thought out and balanced, and not just a vegetable standing in for the meat which is unfortunately way too common. I would have liked the burger to be on a plate as opposed to a basket, as we ordered a few dishes to share and the couscous kind of fell through the gaps in my 'dish', but the quality and quantity of the food was excellent. Loved the mocktail we ordered - the 'sober pirate'. Delicious!

There are nice selection of beers, but food is lower standard than expecting. My group ordered 3 dishes of medium rare steak and a dish of crispy pork. Steaks came out well done and were very dry. This dish should not precooked and just heat it up before serving as the smell and juice of freshness will be gone, left the meat dry like a cardboard. The crispy pork came with a generous size, it cooked to perfection in its texture as it was soft and juicy, but its taste over all was quite bland. The source made this dish dropped out of interesting. I and my friends were so hungry and just ate them quietly. We love your place, so please bring the vibrant dishes to the table and we will be your royalty.

Such friendly happy helpful staff. Our meals all came together, we were a table of 10. The food was faultless on our table. Good size serves too. Plenty of beverages to choose from, either on tap or in the fridge. Band was pretty bloody good too, although a tad loud. Which made it hard to hear people at the end of our table. We'll definitely be coming back. Beautiful grassed area surrounding the place...

Good venue. Was packed yet kitchen and bar staff got through the orders quickly. Chef missed the mark with my pork belly yesterday. You can take leftovers home. Plenty of space for kids to run. Think I saw some puppies there too. Enjoyable couple of hours.

Went for lunch with the family on Tuesday, was a great afternoon. Had an assortment of food, jalapeno poppers, tasting plate and mushroom arancini. All were tasty, jalapeno poppers were the stand out for sure and were surprisingly hot. Also shared a few mains being the fish and chips and pork belly. Fish and chips were super crispy and tasty. Pork belly was edible but wouldn't order again as the majority was dry and not enjoyable. Enjoyed a few bottles of rosé, then enjoyed several margarita's which were prepared amazingly.

We all love the Caeser salad here. And it complements with other dishes. On a lazy Wednesday afternoon, the less crowded area inside the dining hall right after the peak hour was so peaceful and nice. The cooled aircon and the country living atmosphere made us all felt at home. Weekends will always full of crowds. I felt that it has a friendly outdoor environment, and is a nice place for family. Really liked the location and the venue. Outdoor tables need a good scrub. The staff seemed more interested in serving and chatting with their friends over serving paying customers. Some foods over oily but the salads were excellent.

This is an absolute gem in swan valley. Good ambience, well maintained interior design and a gorgeous exterior space. The food is excellent - steak Sanga and chicken parmy and one of the best chips I had in Perth. A really child friendly and good family space that everyone can enjoy. The service staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend the Henley Brook.

Pretty cool venue, has a great outdoor area, very casual. Even when busy, the kitchen is quick, service is awesome. The staff were happy to set up a tab for us so we could pay on a single bill at the end of the meal (and a few beers). Price is probably slightly above average, but made up for by the speed of service and the quality of the meals.

Loved the place we were at the Henley Brook a couple of Saturdays ago. It is a great location with family , friends & kids. We were super impressed with the food. There was a two piece band and they were excellent. Great atmosphere, super food and service. Well Done the Hen Team

Fantastic place with a great outdoor area. Outdoor seating is great and a great area for kids to play. When we were there there was live music and small animals for the kids to cuddle which was a big hit. Food was delicious however the only issue was the line to get a drink was ridiculously long, not sure what the problem was and if it was the norm but you essentially waited for 40 mins to order a drink. It was also so hot outside even though the day wasn't that hot, not sure if there is anything they can really do about that though.

I was there for a Christmas function and they did not dissapoint, the food was exceptional and the beer was freezing. The staff were really accommodating. There were enough staff around that you never really had to wait to order a drink.

I ordered the chicken pizza add prawns 30 for a pizza it was very tasty but my friends ordered the parmi and the pork belly the chicken was dry and the pork belly had a little crackle was very fatty and stringy meat. Id put the left overs of my pizza in a plastic container And left it on the table and while we went for a smoke and the container of pizza was gone when we got back. The manager looked down on my friends in a weird uncomfortable way. The rest of the bar staff were lovely the band and outside marque for new years was nice. There was a smell of sewrage smelt from the marque. Not the best but not the worst

No complaints on order, have great beers on tap, Hazy by Balter is one of my favourite beers and they have it on tap, which was good. Ths is such a lovely venue, i went with my son for lunch on a Saturday and it was so awesome. They had a band playing outside so lots of people had picnic rugs to sit on whilst enjoying a drink. Kids could play in the outdoor area as it is fenced off from the carpark. There is a large outdoor area that is undercover and also the large indoor seated area. The menu includes tapas, pizzas, pasta, as well as steaks, salads and more. There is also a great kids menu. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely go again it would be a great place to go with a group of people.

Brookvale ginger beer is amazing, highly recommended it. Alas like any restaurant food is always overpriced the brook doesn't escape that. Outdoor areas are NOT cold as there are plenty of gas heaters and staff are rather friendly in moving them closer to your table Would go again for sure

Now, this place is the definition of value for money. Thursday half price pizzas make fast food look like a joke. You'd think turning a vietnamese Banh Mi into pizza would ruin the flavour, but this is definatly not the case. Couple these pizzas with the beautiful drinks and atmosphere and you've got a weekly late night restraunt. If there was a complaint I have, it would be the fact that you have to collect the pizzas. Coming right out of the oven they are extreamly hot and the napkins they 'offer' you won't help. Other than that, highly reccomend. 👍

Received the warmest greeting upon entry that I've received anywhere in a long time, super helpful. Asked if we'd been before, we hadn't, so he helpfully pointed out where to order, the toilets, their table system (to spot what was available). Inside was beautiful decor, but we opted for outside. All seating options were shaded nicely with beautiful views, and so many happy families present. Spacious enough that while it was busy, we still felt we had some privacy which was great. Food and drinks had a great selection. We really loved that the bites (jalapeno poppers, Oysters etc) were individually priced so you could order as few or as many as you like. My wife and I had the Burger (changes each week) and the Steak Sandwich, both with chips, both were delicious. Same with the Oysters Kilpatrick and the Jalapeno poppers. Overall, really cute aesthetic, beautiful outdoor area, fabulous service. Can't wait to go back

This is a very interesting place. Some of the staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help, some should be locked in a room and not allowed out in the public. They are very busy and seem overwhelmed at most times. We arrived, found our own seating - many tables were empty with reserved signs (and stayed that way the entire time we were there with no-one ever showing up), but we prevailed. Ordered food and after over an hour - the advertised wait time was an hour, I went to see what was happening. When. I placed the food order I was asked if we had a table numberv and I said no, and told the staff where we were sitting. Apparently it is not possible to order food without a table number, even though I had, but that was my fault and not theirs. As it turns out they had allocated our food to a random number and when they took it out, they had already eaten, do took it back to sit under a warmer. When it was all sorted they delivered me a cold burger .. which cost $26 and seemed to think that was okay. The other food for the table was returned and brought out fresh and by all accounts was very good. I was actually quite unwell and needed food, so ate my cold burger. No apology, no discount, no offer of a coffee or anything for the hassle. The female manager should not work with people, very rude and ignorant. If she had told me one more time "that it was not possible to order without a table number" I would have gotten very angry.

We had not been here previously and had got some bad advice by friends that you could turn up without booking and expect to get tables. Thankfully the staff were great and shuffled some bookings around to accommodate our group which we were really grateful for. The beer on tap was great, the food that we ordered was all really good and the whole atmosphere of the place was good. The live band was pretty cool to. We will definitely be back.

Went for a mates 30th, had a good time chilling out the back in the big tent that was originally just a weekend deal but now is a permanent fixture because you know. Had a great pizza and some arancini balls and besides feeling like I was at the cricket getting in line each time for a drink the wait staff actually gave the impression they had fun and smashed out some drinks. How could you be angry when they admit the line sucks but what'll it be and let's get me a drink. Overall a good enough experience but would crave a larger bar to hasten thy thirst faster.

A family place that looks like it would be pretty decent if you get served... We arrived at 1pm on a school holiday weekday. The place was about 2/3rds full with most people having already eaten. It took a few minutes to have someone notice that we were waiting in front of the 'please wait to be seated sign'. The manager was friendly but not particularly professional. However, once we were told there would be a 30 minute wait on food (on pizza and burger menu) we decided to give it a miss. Maybe next time...

Given the amount of people who were still there drinking/dining. We didn't feel rushed, cramped or pressured in any way. We took our time and enjoyed our meal overlooking the relaxing grassed area. The wine went perfectly with our meals and the crowd was a mixture of young-middle aged. For a full venue they've managed to retain a very relaxed ambience. It's definitely a nice little spot.

We arrived without a reservation on a busy Sunday afternoon. Staff were welcoming and sorted out a table for our party of 10. Food was good - fish and chips was particularly nice with a light, non-greasy batter and I would have happily eaten three portions of the Bumnuts (stuffed jalapenos), and my wife's salad was good too. Kids chicken nuggets was small, but at least there was no waste. Beer was good, with Feral's excellent Biggie Juice one of the guest taps. The band was excellent too.

Among the trees and farms you'll find an unexpectedly large pub that welcomes kids, dogs and families into their fold like arriving at an extended family get-together. There's plenty of seating, with umbrellas, marquee and trestle tables with traditional table and chairs available indoors. Winter has gas heating and summer has water spray. The menu offers a decent variety with a range that includes kids meals and a decent pizza selection. I had fish tacos and the pork belly. Quite expensive and unfortunately not served at the quality you'd expect from the charge. Speaking of charge. They charged our group a booking fee which we were only able to spend as a credit. This is more than a little odd, since you pay for your individual meal when you order. This requires that the person making the booking juggle cash in order to get their booking fee back. It's fine if one person pays for an entire table, crazy for large groups, so beware. I had two rather expensive mocktails, which were made completely differently, even though I ordered the same drink. It's a friendly place, with lots of people, attentive staff and plenty of opportunities for relaxation. There was entertainment when I was there, finished at 19:00. I've been several times. It's convenient for our group of friends to meet, but it's probably not a place I'd seek out.

Enjoyed the evening watching a movie on an outdoor screen. Atmosphere and location are a big 5 star, marvelous setup. Staff where all helpful and was great that it has such a large amount of room for the kids to run around. Food was a bit of a disappointment, cost was not too bad but some of it tasted like the flavours where brushed on before serving and the food sitting in an oven for a period of time. Unlucky round maybe but occurred 2 weeks prior to my partner with a different dish. Enjoyed and will go back but will also be a bit more picky on the meal choice.

The pork belly was soft and really tasty, the truffle mash was great too, the mushroom sauce was yummy. The pork crackling wasn’t as I expected though, I thought it’d be “real” pork crackle instead of the pork crackle cracker, however I’d say the cracker still blended in delicious with the whole meal.

Been there twice; night and day. The service and quality of the food are spectacular. You can tell that staff has great pride and training allowing them to take care of their customers. I've tried different foods they offer and i havent been disappointed. If you go during winter and sit outside you'll still be fairly warm since they have heaters (still being a jacket tho). The interior is warm and friendly as well as the exterior! Defintely recommend! (the only thing i thought was weird were the flies just laying around, due to the surface spray, but i prefer that then them flying up in my food(but someone should kinda clean the area of flies when its not busy x3)).

Drinks are quality though, this is the only bad experience we have had every other has been 5/5!

We've had issues the last 4 times going and each time think "it'll be different next time" • Entrees/starters very rarely come before the mains • Pizzas although tasty are normally eaten by the time the rest of the other food comes out • when advised the food wasn't too nice (on one occasion) the staff said "we'll tell the kitchen" and then nothing • repeatedly when ordering multiple meals for the same table number, the person ordering first is the last to receive their meal

My mussels were tasty. The pizzas were fresh and the service great. The only improvement could be serving our meals at the same time. My husband had finished his before I got mine. Otherwise will definitely be dinning there again.

Best bar selection and solid value for what you pay for, best pub in the swan valley! Their specials menu and their chicken parmas are both amazing, steaks are chancy unfortunately, but everything else more than makes up for it. The large outdoor and grass area is great for families, plus the horses on the border are friendly and are great for photos! Go here first before you try any other taverns in the area so you have a decent standard to compare others to, my go-to for high quality pub food and drinks when up north!

I went to The Henley Brook to check out an acoustic band that were playing as I was looking at booking them for the wedding. A group of us had a nice dinner then sat outside & listened to the band for a couple of hours. It was the perfect place for a warm summer evening, a very chilled vibe and great food. Nice place, good food. Great for the kids that like some space to play, huge open grass space with soccer balls, other children to play with and a small nature themed playground. They do pizza's which are pretty great. Huge props to the pizza chef who slaves over his oven even in the hot summer months, to serve the well watered patrons tasty cheesy treats. The kitchen also throws down some great nosh, with all the usuals on the menu, given a cool modern Australian twist. Recommend this watering hole as a great venue for families to catch up, put away the tech, enjoy the valley air, taste the valley produce wether food or drink and enjoy coming together in a friendly welcoming place. Best to make bookings as they can get pretty busy! Is a bit on the pricey side, however portions are generous, and the product is well made and of good quality.

16 of us came here for a family party between Christmas and the new year. We were all ages and all of us were happy. From the drive into the ample parking you can see a pretty vast play area with kids playing and apart from eating ours were off playing and making new friends for the afternoon al in an area we could ver easily see them. This also meant the adults could talk and chat in peace. All public areas were high standard and well kept. Inside must be very cosy in winter but for us outside in summer was perfect. All the food was good the fish and chips were amazing and those who had them recommended. I had a Persian salad and paid extra for chicken on as did another. I would say do not have it. Both of us felt it did not work plus the portion was very small and the extra chicken was tiny for the price we paid. We couldn’t decide if it was the dish or they were running out of ingredient as it was so busy. However my daughter is a coeliac and the gluten free pizza is simply second to none. I cannot recommend this highly enough. The best base she has ever had with excellent topping. She was delighted

We are local regulars at The Hen. Not once I have been and have recieved bad service or unfriendly staff like other places I have been to in the swan valley. The staff are ALWAYS accommodating and happy. Children are always welcome with priority with food and there is even spare nappies and wipes etc in the change room. On the weekends there is usually childrens entertainment and live music. If you're looking for somewhere with a calm and easy vibe with generous meal portions look no further then The Henley Brook.

After driving past to & from work watching the building go up my wife and 2 small children (4 years & 6 months) decided to give the Henley Brook a try on Saturday 16th April. Having arrived a peak lunchtime (it was packed to the rafters) we parked up in the overflow carpark and headed inside. We were promptly met by a friendly lady who showed us to an inside table and arranged for a baby chair to be brought over. She explained how to order at the till and gave us that days specials menu as well as the "normal" menus. After standing in line for a few minutes our order was taken. In the time it took me to go, chose, test (free sample, thanks) and order 2 drinks the children s meal was brought out, great service (nothing worse than waiting for a kids meal), home made chicken nuggets and chips with a bit of salad and some tomato sauce. About 10 minutes later our meals arrived, Chicken Parmo with Ham, Texas lamb ribs and we shared a chili salt squid, all were delicious and offered good value. Drinks selection is very good as was the local "Nail Pale" and the cider, prices were also a little less than I was expecting. The whole place is nicely decorated in the "homestead" style, veranda, exposed rafters & bricks, open fire and industrial lighting etc. and the amenities were excellent, the baby change was spotless and came with free wipes and nappy bags. Outside is a large field for the kids to run about, trees and logs to clamber over and there are even some free toys and balls to play with. All in all I cannot recommend this place highly enough and as it's only round the corner we will be returning. The Henley Brook is what the Swan Valley deserves. Excellent.
