Love this place. Great atmosphere and food and the staff was friendly and smiley 😄. They offer different special everyday. Food was awesome and we all had enjoyed our dinner here. A great place for friend and Family catch up❤️

A beautiful setting in the evening for an outdoor meal. Disappointing that you have to pay extra for bacon/ham on a parmi, when this is an essential element of a chicken parmigiana. The food was otherwise good.

This place is perfect for any occasion: after a walk or cycle along the railway reserve, with family and kids in the play area or for a romantic dinner in the restaurant. Massive choice of meals and I've never been disappointed. Easy parking. Only issue is getting pram or wheelchair into the garden area.

Had a nice Sunday lunch there, outside in the windy cold dog-friendly area after walking the railway line trail. Great tucker and a smooth Guinness, just wished they had cafe-blinds and /or a couple of heaters going. We would have stayed longer and spent more!

Mediocre meals in big serves. Went down with the family today and no one was really stoked with their meals. I ordered beer battered fish n chips. The batter was crispy but the whole meal was bland. I also ordered salt n pepper calamari which was really undercooked, not crispy at all. The grilled fish wasn’t very nice either, bland and a weird texture. Cheeseburger was okay, the patty was huge. Children’s steak was meant to come with chips and salad but only came out with chips. Service was good, the pub it’s self is lovely but just wasn’t excited about the food at all.

Good food. Good service. Nice interior. We had the Ribs and Rump(Mondays), both were super tasty. Big portions. Also ordered the Double Crusted Camembert from the Tapas Menu, which everyone loved and the portioning was big, which is nice cause it isn't always with Tapas. The S&P Squid wasn't as tasty as it could have been, but did taste super soft & fresh. The Asian style BBQ Pork was excellent. Everyone was also very happy with the Desserts. I recommend it.

A great little hotel in the hills. We stopped for a late lunch of beautifully tender steak and a Thai green curry, followed up by a serve of warm chocolate brownie with icecream and cream. Food was delicious, well cooked and presented. Staff were friendly, helpful yet unobtrusive. The dining room itself was lovely and clean with nice decor. They were lighting the open fire as we left, I can imagine it would be nice and warm on a cold night. Highly recommend for a meal.

This is just such a great place for catching up with a mate or two, taking the family for lunch or just stopping in after a good ride on the bikes. The food is as hearty and tasty as you could possibly hope and the service is courteous and efficient. We love the Mundaring Hotel and will keep going at every chance we have! Quaint small pub in the Perth Hills, 40mins from the city. You would think that is all it is going to be but no no no, this place delivers some of the best meals you could hope for at bargain prices. I had Beef cheek and Guiness pie with mushrooms and a super rich gravy, chips and salad, the boss had the roast of the day, Pork roast vegetables apple sauce gravy etc etc. She said it was one of the best roast pork meals she has ever had, my pie was a bloody ripper too! They had the open fires going as it was under 30, don't like the cold over here in WA, they have a beer garden and places for the kids to play in a secure area and friendly staff. Couldn't fault it

We ( 3 of us) Went to lunch.. Staff were professional, extremely polite, our orders were delivered in a minimal time, hostess checking if we required anything else and for more drinks. Great Wine List and Menu Atmosphere was relaxing and very clean with the windows so clean. We had Garlic Bread, Lamb Shanks, Beef Cheeks and Scotch Fillet.. the Steak was the most tender, better than a high class restaurant we had been to recently and paid almost double the price... All cooked to perfection So so tender and tasty.. were going to order sweets but could not fit them in... meal sizes were large and beautifully presented. Would Definitely Recommend ... We are going again. Thank you... All so much..

My wife and I recently dined at the Mundaring Hotel and were incredibly impressed. It is a lovely country style pub with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the food was extremely good. I had the Monday night special rump and ribs for $20! It was the best steak and ribs I have had in a long time and the serve was so generous I couldn't finish the chips and salad. Definitely recommend if you are after a casual meal or drink.

Went there today (WA Day public holiday).. Was very impressed with everything except being grossly overcharged. The menu is quite confusing. Guinness Pie (advertised on the front) for 20 bucks.. In the menu it's 28. When I questioned the girl she wasnt clear at all..😢😢

Pleasantly surprised with this place. We popped in on a random drive and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. The only letdown was that they forgot our desert and they only prepared it after we reminded them, however, the sticky date pudding was worth the wait.

Unfortunately our dining experience was disappointing this time. Being a Saturday night it was extremely busy inside in both the restaurant and closed in alfresco area and outside. We werent advised that we would be waiting for our meals for an hour and a half (we arrived at 7pm) and that we had better order dessert at the same time because the kitchen would be closed by the time we got our food. We were asked if we would like garlic bread and drinks when we arrived. Staff seemed very under pressure (maybe not enough staff on or new), and apologetic and embarrassed. Food was fine, perhaps a little overcooked and not really hot. They did apologize profusely and took our drinks off our bill but it just wasnt up to par. Sorry to say we wont be back on a Sat night for a while. Come on Mundaring Pub lift your game.

My first visit: had an excellent steak sandwich here a busy Saturday night recently. Steak was juicy and tender perfectly cooked, fries were great too. Washed down with good quality beers and entertained by a fantastic guitarist and female singer with a beautiful voice. Sounds like a perfect evening to me, will be back soon - in fact tomorrow! Staff friendly too. Update: went for quick lunch Sunday, went for the $10 roast beef n gravy roll. Roll was massive filled with thick juicy slices of melt in mouth beef with very tasty gravy, plus good helping of lovely chips. Great meal, great value for money.

Last Monday evening my wife and I didn't feel like cooking, we decided to eat out and went to the Mundaring hotel. We didn't book and the very professional waitress happily directed us to a nice table for 2 in the dining room. We liked the ambiance with an inviting wood fire burning in the hearth, jarrah floorboards and really high ceilings, making the space comfortable and not too noisy. The menu is delicious and not too busy with v and gf choices as well. There is a good drinks list with a selection of international wines, beers and cocktails also juices, sparkling drinks and non-al cocktails. For our meals, my lovely wife, ordered a fillet steak and I chose a pie of braised beef cheek slow cooked in port with mushrooms, both meals were served in good time with season vegetables and cooked beautifully. We are glad this hotel, which was established in 1899, is nearby and we like to visit regularly for meals all year round with an interesting menu for each season. During the warmer months there is regular live music for family entertainment. I definitely recommend the Mundaring Hotel to friends, family and travelers who enjoy a homely pub and good food.

Jim and the staff at the pub really looked after us. We had a booking for a large group of people and they even picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation for free. I got the felling that under pressure they weren't quite with it because we had a bus load in at the same time and thats when meals were getting a little well done. Just home from an awards breakfast for our brigade at the Mundaring Hotel. I wanted to immediately jump online to say a big thank you to the team there. They did us proud! The food was gorgeous (even the GF options!) and the atmosphere was great. As a result we had a jolly time and really enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks for getting up early to light the woodfire and cook the yummy food for so many of us, and for looking after us so well. Would recommend for a meal or a group booking any time!

Dinner was a tad expensive for the size of the meal and some of the group were left hungry afterwards. First time that has ever happened to me after eating a main. The wife had a chicken parmigiana which cost $27 and was over priced for the size. Other Hotels I've eaten at, the chicken was twice the size and for less. Speedy and friendly service though and Nice atmosphere it was just the size of some of the mains that were disappointing. price.

The last few times I’ve been here have been awesome, very clean, fast food service and nice outside area, live music. I’m a bit gutted they’ve taken the only vegetarian meal off the menu though because that was amazing! And was pretty upsetting paying $5 for a pint of soda water 🤷🏻‍♀️

When first entering this place was a little disappointed, everything was clean and tidy, it was the not so friendly service we received, was if it was an effort to serve us, didn't mind making us wait for no reason either. Lucky we went and sat outside, it was there we met a wonderful man named Colin, and his two beautiful girls, his gorgeous border collies. He was out watering the lawn, while his dogs sat patiently waiting and watching . I could have sat with these two gentle girls all day.Had it not been for this amazing man, and his just as amazing dogs, I would have given no review, the 5 stars were for them.
