Really good quality, real Taiwanese flavor. Meat is fresh and tender, the crust is crispy.

Reminded me of Hotstar Fried Chicken which is unfortunately closed now and also was a Taiwanese Halal Restaurant. Bubble Tea was okay flavour (We ordered Passion fruit, Lychee and Mango). On the main dish we ordered Drumstick (8 pcs), Chicken Pop Corn, Chicken Wings (16 pcs) and Fried Tofu. Lots of MSG but tasty too. Cost all up was around $70. Nice Customer service. Would be nice if you provide some plates for the dining in customers.

Wow, definitely recommend coming here. the chicken breast was so tender and juicy and the seasoning was very nice and spicy. The service is quick but there is not much seating available (~7 chairs outside) and it is quite popular. Will definitely stop by if I'm in Northbridge :)

The chicken is nice and yum.. just a-bit pricey. The store itself is very very hot! And there is only 4 seats in the store itself. The workers can be friendlier instead of having a bored poker face 🙄.

Loooovveee their fried chicken so muchhhh. The main point of their chicken is that they always came out nice and fresh and juicy!! That’s the thing that I loved about it! Except for the sweet potato fries, they’re quite a bit bland and over cooked as it taste bitter. But duh, I still love their food! ❤️‍🔥

Thought I would get a KFC style box, wow I was so suprise at the price, but I must say quality over quantity. The Honeydew flushes down the ultimate chicken thigh and curly fries. Any reviews earlier than 2020 will be for Hot-Star, which used to be at this location. For some reason Google has put all the old reviews into Ultimate Chicken - which is a similar shop, but different owner & staff. It was always good value but I think the food is slightly better now. Extra-spicy is the way to go of course.

When I first noticed that Hot Star had gone/ become this I was a little disappointed and just never ended up coming here for a while. But, as it turns out, the joke was on me. I actually think this place is a big improvement. The chicken is delicious, with more seasoning options... I really enjoyed the curry seasoning, some awesome Taiwan flavour there. And, to top it all off, the bubble tea which I bought on a bit of whim with the special deal, ended up being one of the best I’ve had in Perth and I’d come back even just for that, even over some of the other nearby options. What’s more is they serve takoyaki, one of my all time favourite snacks, so I will be back to try that. All in all, 10/10, actually really glad to have this place arise out of the ashes.

Waiting area is very small and cramped, delicious chicken with uncommon flavor (mild spice is considerably spicy, many options) drinks fridge doesn't have much but does have a nice winter melon tea (canned)
