Went to grab lunch as we felt like some Vietnamese. The pho tai and garlic king prawn were very good but not sure if I am going to try the stir fried veges again... The customer service was very exceptional, will be back to try some other menus soon😋🍤🍲🍜

Eat where the locals eat. This place has been a Vietnamese food go to for years. Always great service. Never booked ahead but always got a table quickly. Food is great and very well priced.

Had beef with lemon grass and rice noodles. It was very delicious! Good prices (11-16$ most of it). But sitting near the door is not a nice atmosphere. Felt the cold wind blowing into the restaurant every time the door opened. Second time we did not sit at the door and the food was again excellent. Prawn dumpling soup, huge portion, $15.50. A friend was also more than happy with a seafood soup.

I went in this viet resto to try the pho noodle soup. Because I’m not feeling well I cannot taste the pho soup. Probably my antibiotics and steroids affects my taste buds. The staff were very warm and hospitable. I’ll come back next time when I feel better and see the taste again of their pho broth.

Went here with colleague's recommendation. According to her, chicken rice and laksa are really good here. Weird for a Vietnamese restaurant. However, i went before hearing about these two dishes. So i ordered the classic in a Vietnamese restaurant. Ordered: Pho thai - beef slices are very thick. Soup is not to my taste. A bit on the sweet side. Can't really taste any beef. Can't compare to my favourite pho place in Melbourne. However, this place is very clean.

This place is one of the best places for Vietnamese food in Perth. Meals come out pretty fast and are so cheap for the big amount of food you get. I used to take some Vietnamese agents there and they always used to say that some of the food was better at Viet Hoa than in Vietnam, especially saying that the pho was more flavourful. One of the oldest Vietnamese cuisine restaurant in Perth and very reasonable price. My favourite menu was the pho tai and viethoa deliver a great taste of soup and meat.

Have never had a bad meal here. Great prices, always walking away feeling uncomfortably full with the portion sizes (or a doggy bag). Great mix of people shows how popular it is with all crowds, always busy but they always seem to fit us in. LOVE VIET HOA.

Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Perth. Do come early or try to make a reservation as it can get crowded really quickly in the evenings, especially on the weekends. Great location to grab drinks after too.

The pho is pretty nice here and I didn't get the nasty thirsty kick after at all. Also tried the rice vermicelli noodles with spring rolls which were yum. The coffee here was the highlight. The real Viet coffee strained like they do it in Vietnam. So good and strong. Price wise, it was very reasonable. The only thing I could comment is the carpet had rather funky smell to it.

A Perth institution with delicious and well-priced Vietnamese cuisine. Don't expect fancy decor or impeccable service but an overall nice, warm experience and good food. Situated in China town there is some parking but mostly paid, depending on the time you decide to visit.

I had the combo beef noodles. The beef is actually more than noodles! Beef was tender and fresh. Surprisingly the beef tripes were very tender!! Love their chilli sauce oil! So much flavour!!! The ho fan noodles was very basic one not the silky smooth one. $14 for this big noodles with all sauces and icy cold water in the Northbridge, it is s good price. The environment can be improved, like there was a strong smell as soon as I walked in the restaurant, I guess it could be the carpet floor, maybe they should clean it more often. Besides the smell, others are very good, staff and service is good!!

Better Vietnamese food than I can find in my home country of Singapore! It probably has to do with the quality and freshness of ingredients one can find right here in Western Australia that can outcompete with whatever we can get in Singapore. Upon entering the restaurant, you will be teleported to the 90s as you encounter the typical no frills Asian decor, which also matches the character of the food, traditional and no frills.

I visited Viet Hoa for lunch today after a fantastic meal a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday evening. The restaurant decor is basic but the vibrant atmosphere more than makes up for this. The restaurant was full on both occasions with customers queuing at the door, despite this the service was very quick and efficient. The food landed on our table in record quick time and was so tasty and very authentic. Having travelled Vietnam extensively many years ago it bought memories flooding back. If you are looking for a no thrills authentic Vietnamese restaurant then this is the place for you.

Love the pho! They taste authentic, portions are reasonable and people there are lovely. Being couple times here already and the food quality is pretty consistently good. The only downside I can think of is probably the beef ball, it's tenderness is okay, just the white "tendons" in beef balls can be quite chewy and sticky sometimes. But other than that, it's fabulous.

In a nutshell: if there's one thing better than the food, it's the service and if there's one thing better than the service, it's the price. The food is terrific. It's always perfectly cooked and the freshest you're likely to find anywhere. But it's the service that really sets this place apart from all the others. I've come here a few times and it's almost magical. The food is served within a few minutes of you ordering, and it's always hot and freshly made. It's as if they knew you were coming and exactly what your order would be. There's no long wait between courses either. You're never without a dish in front of you. Prices are almost too good to be true. A main meal with entrés for two plus drinks and you will still get change from a fifty dollar note. They don't scrimp on the portions either. I promise you'll leave feeling like you've had a banquet. The meals are a mix of Vietnamese and Cantonese. They also serve a fine jasmine tea. On a final note, the restaurant is very brightly lit and the decoré is white, which just underlines how clean it is, and that goes for the kitchen too. I know that because you can see right into it through the service port at the rear of the restaurant. You will love it! I promise you.
