Went to Wildflower for dinner in Birak season. Had the 6 course degustiatuon with wine pairings. Can honestly say it was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've ever had! The food was incredible and so well balanced and matched with the wines. They also easily catered for my food intolerance (no onion or garlic). Each dish was also super interesting with different ingredients and flavours than I'm used to. Bethany was a wonderful host, she took care of us, explained so many things and answered all of our questions. It was such a fun experience! We will absolutely be going back!!

We had the 6 course meal degustation, and many many cocktails. The lamb was a bit too fatty and the sauce that went with the duck was too sweet, kind of like jam. The highlight was the cured snapper, roasted octopus and the mandarin myrtle signature cocktail.

Have been here for a meal twice now, and each time has been brilliant. The flavour combinations are incredible and delicately balanced, wanted to take photos of every dish but got too excited and started eating before I could remember. I believe it is reasonably priced for what you get; of particular mention is the non alcoholic drink pairing - which you must try with your meal! Would definitely come again.

Definitely a beautiful place with a very polite service. The moron was our highlight for the dishes. As foreigners it was not always easy to catch every detail in each plates as the explanations were thrown so fast but we try to Google everything afterwards. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Perth! Excellent service and amazing unique food! Each dish has its own unique flavour and ingredients are sourced from local WA! Shark bay fish, Fremantle octopus and cheese from down south! first time to know you can actually eat Geraldton wax😬 worth to check out the new dishes every now and then, highly recommended!

Best fine dining experience I have ever had. The food truly was incredible. I love how they incorporate native ingredients which are based on the current indigenous season. A simply perfect dining experience! It has become the absolute favourite for my wife and I and we have never been disappointed. The staff and service are exceptional and take personal pride in ensuring you have a benchsetting experience. The food changes regularly and features a delightfully innovative range of dishes based on various Australian native ingredients. All options are paired with exquisite wines or other beverages to your taste and the range of options is wide enough to satisfy even the most discerning palate. My only gripe is that you have to wait so long to get a booking but that's what happens when you are just so good!

We are so lucky to have a nice corner table without booking for lunch today(pls booking in advance). 6 course menu is fantastic and well worth the price than other short menu in my opinion. My daughter loves wild fish, wagyu beef, and desert of course. Also great staff, very friendly and experienced, we felt very comfortable with the service. Just one more thing if we have to suggest is that child high chair could be more comfortable and quality to match the dining room, after all it is a 2 hours food journey for parents and the little one. We will definitely come back again and again because it’s simply the best one in the town.

Booked to celebrate a special occasion and had been very much looking forward to it. The whole experience was disappointing when paying almost $600 for 2 people. For that price I want to be leaving thinking "Wow" which we wasn't. It was so dark could barely see what we was eating, food was tasty but not mind blowing, staff were friendly but seemed very rehearsed and scripted when explaining each dish, almost robotic with little personality coming through. I haven't been called Sir so often since I was an officer in the Boer War (not). Apart from the formality, our waiter brilliantly steered us to the shorter menu, a given for insiders, when you know the last table to be seated on a Tuesday, will be "helped" to a shorter "experience". The courses came out as quickly as acceptable at this price level. The eats were contemporary and well executed, with the pescatarian substitutes as unfussy as a pantone chair, and just as thought through. Overall, a good experience at the pointy end, at the pointy West end of Oz.

Wildflower makes all the other restaurants in Perth look like McDonalds. The food and especially the wine/mocktail pairings were sensational. Best meal and experience we have had in a long time. The staff were very friendly and genuinely interested by their jobs, and were very knowledgeable about what they were serving. I have been 'told' we will have to return.

Great menu, decent view of the bell tower - restaurant is abit narrow but comfortable. Service staff was polite, professional but I felt at times they were rather robotic. Food was tasted( except the pork collars, i expect mouths melted texture but a bit firm, sauce and side food was normal ), presentations are a bit boring as a fine dining restaurant(maybe because of winter menu or my partner has the amaranth allergy).wait person had well training, knowledge and excellent attitude. One of the restaurants in WA which you shouldn't miss if you are a foodie. I heard that it is modern Australian but I actually thought it a modern French in taste and how they cooked. I was particularly impressed by the precision of the mains was grilled, they were very juicy yet with a hint of crispy roasting surface. I enjoyed the sauce using WA ingredient and presentation delicately featured with WA leaves and flowers as well. The atmosphere and service was a bit friendly side than I expected. The view of Swan River is absolutely gorgeous.

If you are in WA, you need to try this place. Absolutely delicious food and and the menu is led by native concepts and indigenous ingredients which is amazing. Went for lunch here and we loved everything on the table. It’s not overpriced at all for the quality of food.

Food was interesting, some hit and miss. Octopus and duck dish were the stand out ones. Lamb was cooked perfectly but the peppermint gum/yoghurt is abit too overpowering. I went here in May for a friend's birthday. Hands down best vegan dining experience to date. Every dish was so delicious and exquisite. I loved the incorporation of native vegetation. The 6 course vegan menu was $20 cheaper too at $145. The service was very good too. Many of the servers made comments about the vegan dish being their personal favourite when describing it, yet they didn't do the same for the omni dishes so I think the price is more than worth it for the high caliber of food served.

Went here for a degustation with a party of four! They were awesome in accommodating dietary requirements. We did it with the premium wine pairing which was well worth doing. The atmosphere was fantastic, the view was also exceptional. Make sure you book ahead. Worth it if you appreciate good food.

The food was imaginative and made great use of local ingredients, but there were a few things that I felt were a bit of a let down for what I was told was Perth's best restaurant. Dishes were very slow to come out - over a half hour wait between courses five and six! Service was friendly but impossible to attract when I needed it. The bread was somehow burnt on the outside and mushy in parts on the inside - I would not have been happy getting that from a local bakery. In the end it took over three hours to get through six courses, even though each course was so delicious it barely lasted ten minutes!

I've eaten at Post downstairs but Wildflower exceeded all expectations. Perth's most luxury restaurant. It feels like an exclusive club room on the top floor of Como Treasury Hotel, with an outside rooftop bar with views across the city. Every staff member was attentive but not annoying. Everything on the menu & wine list was explained in detail. I tried 2 white wines by the glass & didn't like either of them. We both chose different dishes off the menu & loved everything we ate. It was all a bit artistically presented but we were both full up by the end. I think the chef has listened to early feedback about the portion sizes. Paid over $300 for 2 people so it's not cheap, but as a special occasion meal I can't wait to go back.

We kept on changing the number of people in our booking at Wildflower, and I was grateful for the help of the staff at the hotel. In the end, it was a dinner for a group of 4. Initially, we chose the 4-course tasting menu ($135), but we changed it to 6-course ($165). I remembered having a great experience at Wildflower when it first opened, so I was super keen to dig into all the dish. I need to mention that the cocktail list is impressive because each cocktail incorporates native Australia botanicals in it. I liked the Sandalwood Espresso out of the three cocktails that we ordered. The list of non-alcoholic drink seems promising as well. Cocktails that we drank: PLUM MANHATTAN SANDALWOOD ESPRESSO LEMON MYRTLE DROP As for food, Head Chef designed a menu that made us wanting more. Each plate has a stunning presentation. Check out some of our dishes below. Wildflower also caters for Vegetarian, and each of the vegetarian plates came out as beautiful too One thing that can be improved on: service, service, service.

To add compliment to the haute cuisine and refreshments is their perfectly timed service, delivering each dish and beverage at an excellent pace. This dining experience isn't one to be done on a budget, though the price is worth the experience.

Wildflower is incredible. Fully intended to take pictures of each dish we ordered, however we were unable to wait as the presentation of each course was incredible. Excellent staff gave vivid descriptions of each dish, it's local ingredients and it's flavour profiles. While not the cheapest place to eat, the menu is VERY fairly priced, if not underpriced for what you get. I fully intend to return and try the dishes I missed as each one takes you by complete suprise. The incredible staff, food and ambiance make this a must visit for Perth cuisine. Today I went for lunch on a 2 course meal for my wife's birthday. When I called the week before the lady was rude and informative, pity I forgot to take her name. I was told by her that valet parking was available and they can't reserve this option even though I agreed to pay, she said just turn up and hung up the phone. So today I turn up 5 minutes before our lunch booking time. The valet assistant was rude and said there wasn't any space and directed me across the road to the city car park. I thought I would give him benefit of the doubt and it is full, I went across the road to park and had to inconveniently walk from the city car park, upon walking to the como, what do I find? He was able to park a few cars that had come after me and there was also a space, I was livid, not only did it spoil my wife's birthday but the service I got from what is meant to be Perths best hotel and restaurant I felt let down. On a positive the food and service was top notch and can't fault that. Would have been 5 stars if the other two experiences didn't sour my mouth.

I have been to Wildflower twice (Summer & Winter menu). The location and venue is beautiful. All the ingredients used are fresh and cooked to perfection. The only thing lacking for me was the flavour. Everything else was amazing. My wife and I didnt get the wow factor from the flavours both times.

My wife and I had lunch at Wildflower today - from the start the service and attentiveness of the staff were excellent. The meal itself and presentation of each course was top level with a gluten free request easily catered for. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would like to visit again in the future.

This was a special birthday dinner for my mother, who doesn’t like the taste of lamb. This was a problem as with many high end dinner experience, this is no longer à la carte, but a choice of two different dégustation menu for Friday’s and Saturday’s (à la carte available other nights). $95 for 3 courses or $145 for 5: both of which featured lamb as the main dish. However the waitress told us that the lamb may be substituted by red emperor, which turned out to be a wonderfully turned out red snapper. There is also a vegetarian option. I liked they showcased local farm products and as well local (Noongar) plants such as Geraldton Wax, finger lime and kohlrabi. This extends to the cocktails as well, as I tried their Martini perfumed with local flowers (Geraldton Wax). Their sommelier was very helpful, steering me away from a potentially bad choice of red and their service was overall good, correcting a missed order promptly.

I made a booking and I did not get any confirmation of my booking. Most restaurants would confirm via email. I am now not sure if my booking is confirmed. I called the restaurant and it is not opened until 5 pm today. Hopefully, I remember to call. It is stressful though. Don't know how many stars to give. My previous experiences were good. But, am stressed at the moment not knowing if my booking is confirmed and not having any way to contact the restaurant now except have to wait till 5 pm today. May forget though.

Beautiful and elegant venue, good service but overpriced. The size of the dishes are way too small and the flavours are not extraordinary. I paid $54 for the flow 2-course lunch menu and I was left hungry . The kangaroo was a bit too salty and the fish was dry at the top. It's worth coming back for the view, the service and the atmosphere but the food was disappointing.

Birthday dinner with the six course degustation. Partner couldn’t have been happier with the quality of the food and the extra mile they went to cater for a FODMAP food intolerance. I was absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal but in the best possible way! Service was impeccable but also personable and highly knowledgeable. A lot of thought also put in to the set out of the restaurant- sound acoustics etc. this is not a place where you can hear everything happening 5m away and struggle to hear yourselves conversing despite the size of the restaurant. Truly exceptional, in all respects. The atmosphere was incredibly well set, with superb lighting, sharp decor and quiet music that perfectly drowned out the other restaurant goers while allowing for easy conversation between my partner and I. Service was without fault ~ I felt incredibly looked after and they were more than happy to field the variety of questions I had with zeal. Lastly, the food was nonpareil ~ each of the 7 or so dishes that were placed in front of me were an absolute taste sensation, and left me wholly satisfied by the end of the 2+ hour dining experience. Just a tad underwhelmed..Booked in for Friday evening 2 weeks ago for the 4 course and matched wines for a friend's birthday. The waiter made the whole experience rushed and frantic. The second server had a very thick accent and made it very hard to understand what food we were being served. The wine didn't keep up with the course and the main waiter was walking past as whipping cutlery and glassware, so our table felt like a thoroughfare (when it was against a window). To add insult to injury, still water was charged at $10 a bottle (not advertised when offered, only still, sparkling or tap) and then a credit card surcharge on a normal card, which is atrocious when you are spending $500 on dinner for 2. Food was great, but nothing exceptional, and not in my top 5 for dinner in Perth. Sad, will just stick to the downstairs offering.

What a wonderful experience. We received “Wildflower” gift vouchers and so we booked for weekday lunch. My Partner was born and always lived in Perth WA. Knew that this restaurant has been in the heart of the City for many years and changed it’s name of course. First time for us. An amazing fine dining restaurant and to be able to see and enjoy our beautiful City from above, was extra special! The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, very relaxing and we were amazed how big it actual is. The staff were very professional. We had 3 courses each and all dishes were perfectly presented and most enjoyable. Could not fault any of it. The Desserts especially were so delicate and delicious! Although we had vouchers which covered most of our bill, felt was overpriced….BUT worth visiting to be able to experience a different way of fine dining. Now that we enjoyed the experience, we shall return again and spoil ourselves, on a special occasion in the future.

Maybe I've been spoilt by similar overseas venues but I was quite underwhelmed by my Wildflower experience. The service levels were not where I would expect them to be for a restaurant located at the top of a six star hotel. At one stage the waiter actually poured water onto my purse and didn't even seem to realise. I'd also think that for somewhere that charges as much as Wildflower does I could expect my sparkling water to be complimentary (I've been to local cafes that have serve yourself sparkling water for goodness sake!). We also weren't given a copy of the menu which I noticed other tables had been. In terms of the food it was good quality, fresh and a wonderful example of local ingredients being prioritised. Individual elements of several of the dishes were top notch however a few of the dishes just didn't quite come together for me. My favourite mouthful of good for the night was the amuse bouche. If your amuse is your high point then I think there's definite room for improvement. On the plus side, we were given a little plate of fudge at the end that had "happy anniversary" written in chocolate sauce because we had told them it was our wedding anniversary. It was a nice touch but not enough to change my overall view.

Wildflower is akin to your favorite novel that you don't want to put down at 2am late in the evening. You keep reading and it gets better and better. It all starts with friendly helpful valet parking and the lift takes you to a front desk with helpful, funny and charming wait staff. The decor echoes the artful nod to "wildflower" with an Australian wattle placed next to a flickering led light. Attention to detail with allergies is impeccable as my partner is nut allergic and the utmost care was taken with substitution for the nuts. We chose the biggest degustation course. I won't give away all the menus hot numbers but I loved the scallops and my partner loved the duck. The sommelier The service was excellent however I do wish our first wait staff said goodbyes and announced she was handing our table over to a colleague. My only gripe, apart from the handover is the end of our meals (4th course) my wines were served half way through the meal and red wine was dropped onto both my plate and the table. Though this was cleaned up immediately off the table my glass still had red wine on the glass. This was an amazing experience overall. loved the artful presentation, food to wine pairings and palate lifters within the meals (lime, radish, apple) Our first wait staff was amazing and she should be commended for her knowledge of both food and wines presented, her presentation and personable demure. Thankyou Wildflower I will be back someday.

The fat had not been rendered and the meal was served just warm. I have eaten at this restaurant 4 times now. 1. Had one absolutely stunning experience, the food, the service and atmosphere were great hard to beat. 2. To be fair it was Valentines day. We arrived at 8.30 and sat down for our meal. People around us were grumbling about the length of time it was taking to get their meals. I thought they were whingeing and being overly critical as the Restaurant was extremely busy. We left at 11.20 pm and still hadn't been served our desser. Food was average. 3. We were house guests and booked in to the restaurant for a couples romatic dinner. Nearer, service could take a point or 3 from Voyager Estate, Margaret River (although Wildflower's food is superior). Shortcomings easily remediable. Hopefully they do, because the food deserved way better. Highlights were the surprising kangaroo tartare, out of this world scallops, and pork so good the the table went silent. Beef was standard. Would go back, for the food, which alone deserves my 4 stars.

There were lots of staff however none were very attentive and we had to wait quite a long time to be served drinks to start. Also, while the menu lists a lot of ingredients I can't say I could obviously taste them.. some of the dishes seemed to just be typical modern Australian that you would have in any nice restaurant. Portions are very small. I'd say worth going to if you're happy to part with $$$ but overpriced and not adventurous enough considering. Bread in common (Freo) just as good!

Stunning. What a restaurant and feed. Everything was magnificent, except for one dish. The duck. From previous photos and friends it seems that we may have been served a one off. However, instead of the slice of duck we were given some sort of a 'terrine' I believe. It was full of fat and no good at all. Every other item and dish was magical. I would have to say that the pork was the best, followed by the crab and lamb, both of which were also amazing. Desert, palate cleansers and petit fours also went down a massive treat.

I expected a lot from Wildflower. It is billed as haute cuisine, with a strong influence of WA ingredients, which is an enticing combination. The food was solid, but not spectacular. The WA paired wines were a letdown - 2/5 came from Leeuwin (hardly trailblazing), the waiters had not tasted the wine, and the sommelier was so sexist and arrogant he didn't even deign to address my dining companion (who knows far more about wine than me). Throw in a fit-out that feels a little like a hotel lounge, and the experience was disappointing all-in-all (although the views of Council House were tops). Perhaps I caught them on an off night, but I left feeling disappointed in a restaurant with such a high reputation and expectations.

The highly imaginative menu captures the flavours of the Australian bush and reflects the six seasons of the Nyoongar calendar. Unlike our other dishes it didn't feel complete, as if it was missing a flavour or texture (it was the only dish lacking something with crunch). But it was beautiful meat and cooked perfectly. We had the 5 course degustation, and it was really delicious and exciting food. I will probably be back someday, because the food was just great. Having said that, for such a high end restaurant that has a lot going for the experience and their service in many ways, they are getting a couple of BASIC service things wrong. My friend was asked for an order and she said she needed a bit longer to decide, and then she was asked 2 more times in the next couple of minutes by different people each time. Similar thing happened with third person in our party, who was still eating a plate and had 2 different servers come up to clear within 60seconds of each other before realising and awkwardly leaving. Felt kind of rushed and disorganised, not something you want when you're paying that much. We had some dietary requirements in our group, and they were very accommodating about catering to them - which is fantastic. But they noted my requirements incorrectly, and a course came out wrong. No big deal on its own. When I tried to politely explain the issue, the waiter actually told me that I was wrong! When I once again insisted that what they'd served me were not my dietary requirements that I'd specified, he replied again with, "oh but I'm *sure* you said __". He tried to mansplain my own religious dietary requirements to me, instead of acknowledging his mistake. A far cry from the customer always being right. And there was no immediate offer to remedy the course, which is what I'd expect.. it only came after a couple of minutes of awkwardly having that exchange where the waiter tried to tell me I didn't know my own order. Sours the memory a little.
