Amazing restaurant... amazing food, first class service and friendly staff. Booked this restaurant for a special date night after seeing the menu online. Was not disappointed. First to arrive and from the moment we walked we could not fault anything. Great atmosphere. Friendly professional staff and service. And the food was to die for. We had a garlic focaccia and grilled lobster for entree.. a perfect start. For mains we had pink snapper, seafood linguine and some delightful veggie sides. Dessert was a mango bavarios and a chocolate honeycomb tart. This along with some yummy cocktails topped off a perfect dining experience. Fine dining at its best and highly recommended.

The ambience is nice however the food is over priced for what we experienced. The dishes were blend and flavours were not nice nor did they make sense particularly in the chili nut pasta and the duck. $6.5 for a glass of coke is also day light robbery. I don't mind paying a premium for good food but this was not good food. Please review your dishes, add some salts and maybe do taste tests of the dishes.Hope to try again soon and see if any improvements.

We had oysters to start it wasn't bad. The seafood pasta was average. Dessert was the crepe suzette cooked at the table. Very fun to watch and true to what it should taste like. Will be happy to come again. A bit pricey but you pay for quality and service.

This was my fifth or sixth time lunching at Zafferano and it never fails to deliver. Fantastic bread and chips (our table agreed we would return just for those) and a delicious seafood chowder (more liquid than we preferred but that's personal taste). The calamari was nice but not what we expected, as it presented more as a calamari salad, though the flavours were all great. As a side note: I arrived at 11.50 am and the door was still locked but they kindly allowed me to come in anyway. I queried the opening times as it says from 11 am on Google and was told they had tried to change this multiple times to the actual time of 12 noon but the info was still incorrect.

My husband and I recently hosted an intimate wedding dinner (for 20 guests) at Zafferano. Initially, we were drawn to the restaurant for its stunning views of the Swan River and the Perth city skyline, but this is just one aspect of what is a truly outstanding fine dining experience. The food, in no uncertain terms, is exquisite. The menu does a fantastic job of celebrating West Australian food and wine, while also staying true to the restaurant’s modern Mediterranean focus. The service was impeccable. In the lead-up to the dinner, the restaurant manager, Emi, helped us create a detailed menu and patiently answered all of our questions (and as a bride, I had more than a few!). And on the night itself, she was an absolute superstar and the ultimate professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The wait staff were also fantastic. I can’t tell you how happy I was with how the night turned out. Neither of our families could speak highly enough of the food, service and ambience. I would definitely recommend Zafferano for weddings and other special events.

Saw this place as I was driving past and decided to give it a go for dinner. So so glad that we did! Absolutely everything we tried was beautifully flavoured and cooked to perfection. Best Calamari that I've ever had. My friend had the steak and it was perfectly cooked and he seemed like he fell in love. I tried the red wine jus that came with it and was blown away. The prices are on the higher side, but it's absolutely worth the price! Absolutely beautiful place as well. Total 5 star experience. Will 100% be back again!

Seen a few of the latter reviews and I wonder how they got them. The meals are average priced, not over priced, the servings, well we were all full at main course and all meals were excellent. great choices. Only downside wine waitress who couldn't pour right and only rocked up at service, running late and looked sort of not happy to be at work. But overall a great place to eat, and yes I guess you pay something for a view. At here with some friends from the USA last year and they were blown away, they loved the food, service and views !

Our hotel recommended here and really enjoyed our evening. We both went for the set menu, calamari, fillet steak and I had the salted caramel for dessert. Really enjoyed all courses and very flavoursome. Would also recommend going for the Turkish bread to start with. Washed down with a lovely Shiraz and all for under £135 including a 10% tip. It’s located right on the Swan Valley river with views across to the city. Very clean restaurant and all the staff are professional but were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Although delicious, the meals are on the rich and heavy side, they way nonna used to make them. Service is efficient but staff not the most friendliest. Our family of nine celebrated Australia Day 2019 at Zafferano’s and were very impressed with the service we got as the restaurant was full to capacity. The staff were quick and friendly but didn’t “overserve” us. They must have been frantic but they didn’t show it. On top of the excellent service was the food - superb! It was beautifully cooked and the steaks were done exactly to our requirements. Additionally it arrived hot! Given the atmosphere, the fireworks and the service we got from the staff, we could not have had a better evening. Thanks to all the staff for making it a special family occasion.

Beautiful setting, we had a semi secluded table outside Sunday night, right at the glass fence overlooking the Narrows and City, very peaceful and serene, yummy food and very very attentive staff. Beautiful setting and must try desserts. We ate dinner here. We love the view of the city at night from our seats so it would be good to book ahead and request for such seats. We love the desserts more than the main courses. We ordered lemon curd tart and creme brulee on recommendation of the knowledgeable service staff. They are really good treats. Car parking can be a problem if you turn to the lots infront of the restaurant. Fret not, drive along the building to the back and several floors of lots are available.

Been three times in the last few months. The service is nothing like it used to be in the past. The food is ok, but for the price is by no means as casual stop for most. the view is great. The restaurant has always been rather empty so easy to get in even on the day. By the way not kid friendly - perhaps consider another venue with the younger cohort unless they will sit for the entire time without moving from their seats! Not going back in a hurry.

Came here for a birthday lunch today, service and staff were excellent and a real step above most restaraunts in Perth, nothing was too much trouble with regards to altering dishes etc. All the food was also amazing, I did get order the rib eye medium-rare and it was a little raw for my liking so I sent it back, this could have been a negative but it came back shortly after absolutely perfect, they also gave us a dessert for free I presume for the steak mishap. Prices were a touch on the high side but all in all worth it and will return.

Love it! Incredible food and great service. The CPP parking has only 13 spaces, so be quick and check your bay number to complete your ticketless payment. Formal dining with a strong emphasis on sea food. We went on a Tuesday evening, so we missed out on the fabulous river views, but the service was unobtrusively perfect. This suited our intent as we were there to catch up with an old friend after 12 years. There were 4 specials. We ignored the "plant-based" one in favour of the Dhufish, the jumbo prawns and of the crab, each of which was plated on a different, cheffy and impeccably glossy risotto. Truffle and mushroom in one, macadamia and oil in another, both perfectly matched to the dish. The wine list suited us very well and the sommelier had some suggestions outside our initial consideration but just as perfectly judged. We had a lovely catchup!

Edit: Originally, a quick celebratory lunch with friends was mired greatly by extremely aggressive and racist remarks to my friends and I, by a wedding party, for no good reason, as the staff can confirm. It was loud, very rude and incredibly demeaning for all of us. This was deeply upsetting and nothing was done on scene by any of the staff to mitigate the situation. However, once the issue was brought online, the restaurant manager, Ross, took it upon himself to try and sort this unfortunate encounter out. He has taken the effort to assume ownership of the whole situation, and has gone to considerable lengths to reach out to us, apologise for the nasty behaviour of another patron and to assure us that the matter has been looked into, with appropriate action taken (such as banning the uncouth parties from the restaurant). It could have been handled better originally, but given the circumstances, his is a commendable approach, and we do respect that. He could not reverse what had been said and done, but he did try to sort things out, and explained how it is completely unrepresentative of the passion, commitment and professionalism of the staff. We do appreciate what he has done! The rest of it, though, was nice. Food was good, ambience / setting warm and cosy. It is a recommended restaurant for celebrating those special moments, as it has a nice combination of good food, elegant decor and a breathtaking view. It's sure to make one feel special and pampered.

I spent a satisfying amount of time, and it was about $ 217. Two people were eating a relatively high amount of money, but did not feel a little expensive. The way back from the meal was also very romantic and recommended as the best restaurant.
