Comments of Bar Totti's

Amazing place with a great vibe! We recommend sitting in the bar area for a full Italian bar immersion. All the starters we ordered were delicious and beautifully presented and tasted authentically. We went for pastas as a main, however, next time we might take only starters with bread, as they are quite fulfilling. Everyone serving us on the night was so warm and welcoming - their staff is one of the reasons we will definitely be back. A DJ was playing on a Saturday night - that was a nice touch. Highly recommended 👍🏻

This is a Italian restaurant bar cafe at George Street Sydney. The food is very good, it's my first time trying out this new lunch experience. Basically you order this big flat bread, kind of like Lebanese bread. You than get to choose what ever dishes you want to eat with the bread. You can order olive, raw fish, cucumber salad, tomatoes, prosciutto, mushrooms, cheese and etc. It's quite a unique experience, and the food was great. The ☕ was really good aswell.
😊 eating

Superb 👌. I wish I could give this restaurant more 🌟stars.
I always walk pass this restaurant and I am thinking I should try it sometime. Since the city is very quiet these days I had my chance last night. We were very lucky. We just walked in and we got a table at the back (quieter than at the front).
Since the very beginning the staff is very friendly and kind. Tiara looked after us very well and the entire experience was sublime.
The food was delicious, every single dish we order was amazing.
Starting with the wood fired bread, burrata and chicken liver parfait. Everything was exquisite.
As a mains we had the 300g pork schnitzel (big portion), spinach campanele with milk braised pork and chili and the pasta recommendation.
We couldn’t have desserts because we were too full. We had literally a food coma.
Prices are very reasonable.
I will be back for sure, but booking beforehand.

Service here was excellent! The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The food was sublime - the crab pasta and fresh bread was genuinely one of the best things I've ever eaten. The crab was beautifully cooked, with excellent texture and flavour.
The only downside was the rain as the outside seating isn't covered - but they can't excatly be blamed for the rain.
Thanks for having me! Great service NPark 🙌

Came here on my last night in Sydney and really enjoyed the experience. We ordered way too much food for two people, but I am glad we did as we got to try out the dynamic nature of Totti’s menu.
The vibe of Totti’s is really cool, very different from the Bondi venue. There is an upstairs and downstairs dining area, but I certainly preferred the downstairs area.
The food was absolutely phenomenal from the entrees to the mains neither of us were disappointed. We also appreciated that they were able to find us a table without having a booking!
If you’re looking for a cool, classy restaurant to go to in either a small or large group Totti’s is definitely worth a visit.

Great place for antipasti and drinks. The wood fired bread is absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu too. Service was pretty bad - super hard to get their attention and sounded rude and impatient. (Minus 2 stars because service was that bad)
A.
The place is always packed and there's a reason.
Pastas here are delicious and flavourful, Crab pasta (Red) is filled with flavours and has a kick to it, the Minced pork pasta (Green) was flavour and rich with a little heat ... Indeed addictive.
Steak and sides were fine, as it was what it was ...
Highlight was definitely the pastas.
P. L.
Absolutely fabulous place serving honest, super tasty Italian food designed for grazing and sharing, at reasonable prices. Vibe is buzzing, without being too loud that you can’t hear each other talk. Perfect setting whether catch up with friends, workmates or date night. Staff are very friendly and efficient, not stuck up despite how busy it is.
Everything we had from the menu was superb..wanted to try every item on their menu ( sign of very well curated menu!) but unfortunately was just the 2 of us. Will def be back (again and again!)
M. K.
Very average Italian food. You come here for the vibe, if you can even say that. It’s quite touristy. It’s on a busy street hence how busy they are. Over priced food for average service. Would not come again. Go spend your money elsewhere. It’s basically pre made everything sprinkled on pasta and accompanied with bread.
C. T.
Nice place, plenty of menu choices, great food and drinks, good service. Small plates and wood fired bread are fantastic - pasta is next level amazing! Central location where you can watch the world go by (like we did) or dine inside in a warm (ambience) setting. Lived up to our high expectations having wanted to try it out for a while :)
B. C.
Amazed at first visit and have returned many times with friends and family (and alone).
Always enjoyed the vibe and nice food.
Love their burrata.
Highly recommend.
S. K.
Had a beautiful Friday night dinner here. We ordered lots of starters to share and then a pasta to share also and were stuffed- recommend doing so if you would like to try many of the amazing starters. Great CBD vibe restaurant, not too noisey either but great atmosphere and service.
B. L.
The bread is to die for and the sides are good too! Burrata is a must and the kingfish is delicious. We also got the veal schnitzel which is huge
L. B.
Walked in on Australia day for dinner and was seated immediately which was lovely. The entree were absolutely amazing, and I'd go again and just order that. Of course the pasta was also good, though the portions do differ noticeably depending on what you order; thought that was strange. Towards the end it was a bit difficult to catch a waitresses attention but nothing too serious. Overall, just for the food, I'd give it 5 stars
I. H.
Everything was delightful. The food was great, and it’s highly recommended to share most things on the menu so you can sample more of it. The service was a little hit and miss unfortunately and didn’t suit us. The suggestions from our waiter were a little forced and frequent. More of a personal gripe than a negative of the evening.
It’s an extensive wine list with lovely desserts and very nice cocktails.
L. C.
Awesome staff, love the buratta cheese and prosciutto - generous portions too. Only downside it was so crowded we had to talk over each other but that proves its name
F. S.
Really loved the vibe and the food was superb. Recommend to go in large groups to try multiple dishes/options. Burrata was unforgettable.
A. L.
I went here for my birthday lunch and the food was amazing. I loved every single item we ordered and I left in an intense food coma.
Must try’s are the bread, pate and prosciutto. So so good! Quite expensive overall but the food was great. They also have fresh beers on tap.
Mushrooms were served cold tho, but that was the only downside.
Defs make a booking if you’re planning to go.
A. D.
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. Great selection of small dishes, and each one is a gem. An awesome play for both small and large groups to try out a variety of food. Will go again.
J. Q.
Came here in a group of 4 for a nye celebration dinner. The staff were quite friendly and service was reasonably good. We noticed that the seats were pretty close to each other, which was a slight concern due to covid, but otherwise everything seemed quite hygienic etc. The food came pretty quickly:
- the bread is definitely a highlight of this place; it’s got a good texture and has a slight buttery taste with a good amount of salt - it’s nice when you eat it with the antipasti dishes
- the kingfish and tomatoes were also quite nice and I’d definitely recommend
- the mushrooms were nice but probably not worth the price, considering what they are
- anchovies: wouldn’t recommend, but maybe that’s because I just don’t like anchovies
- chicken liver parfait: pretty unique and I did enjoy it a fair bit but probably wouldn’t eat it again
- burrata: one of my favourite antipasti dishes and more of a unique one. Definitely recommend!
- butter lettuce and nectarines: this dish was definitely a refreshing addition to the other dishes. In saying that, definitely not worth the price for what it was
Snacks alla griglia
- Roasted pumpkin, ricotta, pistachio: quite nice, would purchase again but there wasn’t much special about it
- Grilled market fish: we had the flathead. It was cooked well and was worth the price
Overall: service was quite good, the food was slightly over average but could have been better, given the prices. I recommend trying the bread, burrata and grilled market fish (may differ to ours) if you decide to come. Also, there is no bathroom onsite; you need to go to the nearby bar/pub (who were more than happy to let us use their amenities).
M. T.
The lamb ragu pasta is amazing, the pasta is al dente and the lamb is incredibly soft. Of course gotta get the woodfire bread, tomatoes and burrata, it’s the best combination!
W. N.
Great Italian restaurant. Buzzing on a Friday! Good pasta and food in general. Services are speedy. Good vibe
W. L.
My wife and I visited Bar Totti's for the first time on Friday 14/01/22, we booked an outside table, the staff were very attentive despite being very busy, however our food order and side dishes arrived not has ordered, with one meal arriving before the other and getting cold while waiting, Loren from the kitchen apologised for this error and kindly offered the spare pasta dish put into a container for us to take home later.
However given these minor issues you would not be disappointed that the food quality and serve size it is without question of the highest standard, and we are looking forward to our next opportunity or special occasion to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Bar Totti's.
m. b.
Amazing service, delicious food and reasonable price. Special thanks to Jonathan who looked after us.
E. C.
Great food for casual dinner. It's much bigger after the renovation and if you can get a table at the back, there is great atmosphere there.
D. C.
Great date place. Small plates to share and some large mains for the same, too. Had many small plates with a small meat supplement. Beautifully presented. Prosciutto was shaved so thin, you'd want every deli to give it to you in this way. Lamb skewers were tender and the grilled prawns were yummmm. I'd expect nothing less from a Hemmes Group establishment.
B. D. T.
Great atmosphere and the service has been consistently outstanding. The food is good no matter you if are here for a date or with a group. There is nothing but a great time here... unless you go with horrible people and then that’s your own fault... At which point you could ditch the ppl and enjoy the vibe on your own with wood fire bread, burrata and have an amazing night :)
R. Y.
Really enjoyed lunch there today. Big fan of all Merivale properties. The wine list seems to me all wrong for the market. Far too many options and ridiculously expensive. Have just spent 6 months in New York, and they would just crack up if they saw this. We eat out often, don’t live in Sydney though, and a $60 USD bottle of wine for example entry level in a casual restaurant would probably last a week. Try Carafes, big hit there. Service great, vibe terrific. Food same, drink water.
G.
Absolutely loved it! Great vibe, cocktails and food was sensational. Very good concept to get a great quick feed.
M. S.
This place is all about the bread, incredibly simple but so amazingly delicious. Load up on sides and if really hungry the steak should serve you well. Will be back.
A. D.
Nice interior and clearly a popular place. Is basically an Italian tapas.
The bread was amazing, is their main dish and you get the other tapas plates to compliment. One was enough to share between 3 with 3 sides, but could have had 2—was very good.
We were told by the waitress the peppers were spicy, but were disappointed when they were not - nice, but not spicy at all.
The Provolone cheese was amazing, just wished there was a little more of it. Perfect consistency for dipping the bread though.
The tomatoes were a let down, literally a punnet of cherry tomatoes on a plate.
We ordered the Halloumi salad with the other food but it eventually came 20 minutes after we’d finished all the tapas food. Very disappointing, may have just been forgotten about, but I had to ask/remind the waitress three times.
Wasn’t the best or the worst, but maybe we had a bad day as it’s always busy when I walk past.
C. L.
Hip eatery serving nice tapas size dishes for a quick meal and a glass of wine over some chats or before a show next door at angel place
K. J.
Grear vibe, good atmosphere. A little bit noisy, and some waiters and waitress have exotic english, so you can't hear what they were saying. Food are delicious, good presentation, and relatively big portion for tapas.
D. F.
Food was very average for what we were expecting, atmosphere is okay but I would say not the best place to go for dinner on a date or such. Antipasti were very bland as well, pasta a bit of a let down. Very forgettable experience. Best of the night was our waiter who was very attentive and had a nice attitude.
P. T.
Great lunch on New Year's Day.
Beautiful food as expected from Merivale and such good service by the Czech waitress.
Sad that Queen Chow, Manly let me down last night
K. Y.
Great food and wine. The antipasti are amazing and I would happily have several of those shared for a meal with my partner.
M. T.
Came here during lunch on a week day.
Lunch menu was mainly antipestos and a selection of grilled items.
I can only comment on the bread as the rest didn't require much cooking.
The woodfired bread came out hot and fresh!
It came out puffy & we watched it deflate as the hot air from inside was being released.
I'm curious to see the dinner menu, so will likely be back!
A. Z.
Delicious woodfired bread and antipasto! 🤤🤤
⭐️Highlights for the sides included the burrata, beef tongue, prosciutto, chicken liver parfait & pickled octopus. Also, the cabbage salad offered a nice freshness and tiramisu was yummy!
❌Personally, the kingfish crudo was on the fishier side and salami sub-par. The meal was also on the pricier side (~60pp incl drink).
s.
food was great! love the tiramisuuuu☺️
C. B.
Excellent food, nice atmosphere & great service in spite of being busy. Perhaps a bit limited selection if you’re vegan might be the only criticism.
E. T.
Casual place to hang out with friends for tapas style food, antipasto, cocktails and glass of wine. Food is average except for the bread. Service was below par and not friendly. Our wait staff kept wanting to collect our plates while we were still chatting and nibbling. We had to ask for more water everytime where they could have given us a jug. We booked for 8 however 7 showed up as one was not feeling well that day. Even so we were still charged for 10% surcharge for party of 8 or more... Definitely overrated!!!
S. S.
Quite a trendy little winebar located in a good position on George st open late has a cocktail menu as well as a wine menu .Staff are busy you can order if you can get their attention , its not cheap though , some cocktails are very good .
Z. L.
Very basic tapas food. Wish have more variety choices on menu in the feature. My favorite would be wood fried bread and tiramisu.
C. N.
Great food and cocktails. Service is a bit of a hit and miss, depending on the wait staff. The bread and the Neopolitan ice cream are a must!
T. N.
The food is simply delicious! We ordered a bit of everything and all was really enjoyable!
The service could use a bit of improvement. We were a group of 8 and on every occasion we had to explicitly draw waiter's attention to order drinks and food.
It was Tuesday night so it wasn't like extremely busy, there were a lot of waiters but it seemed like nobody was interested in taking our order or offering advice.
The food was served quickly after the order so I think the only improvement needed is front facing staff.
W. T.
Amazing place to have smaller Italian dishes with wood-fired bread. A good selection of wine too.
S. H. (.
Simply delicious food, atmosphere is cool and hip with the regular warm and efficient Merivale service quality. I've been here already twice this week since opening, and I expect this will be a regular. Keep up the good work.
C. C.
Good food, simple menu. Star of the show for me was the wood fired bread. Then the burrata... which is pretty basic and really can get anywhere. Bit on the exy side for casual dining, but service was attentive and had a nice relaxed atmosphere!
S. H.
Food was great, small plates style. Everything tastes as you would expect (no wow factor, except for maybe the bread). It was amazing how quickly the food was served. Great atmosphere. Felt a bit expensive given serving sizes and nature of the food (e.g. $16.50 for the plate of prosciuttio pictured) but I don't think its more than what other places like this charge.
H. F.
i thought the shared plates and the pasta were above expectation
but i hate to say the desserts were a real let down the lavosh on the pecorino cheese special left a real bad taste and the whole plate in general did not gel well the chocolate torte was also a let down compared to the rest of the dishes
S. M.
Busy, noisy, would prefer to eat in the small bar section downstairs. The wood-fired bread was amazing for dipping into all the oily dishes. The beef tongue was super rich. I felt feeling quite sickly by the end of the night. They also ran out of chicken thigh. I'll give it a few months before heading back and ordering differently and see if it's any better.
D. T.
Absolutely loved my birthday dinner at Bar Tottis last night. Well done Justin Hemmes.... you must have been thinking of me when putting this venue together. The food wow, the service wow and I brought the wow friends to complete the night.
The bread and anchovies rated with me....well done
B.
Amazing quality, fresh and value. Service was great and the whole experience has made my day.
H. T.
I had a really good time celebrating with my friends it was busy and bustling but our food still come relatively quickly the staff were also very friendly.
J. D.
Wood fired bread is amazing. Tiramisu and the cockstails are great too.
J. Z.
The woodfired bread is my favourite! So good we had to order another one. It pairs really well with the duck liver and the kingfish is so fresh.
D. S.
Food was OK. Bread + antipasto, but the music is way too loud for a normal afternoon
K. W.
always a good spot to hang out with friends and some nice food for sharing
it was very busy and may be they didn’t put enough people working, service was a bit rough
A. R.
Food was 10/10, amazing!
Staff could be nicer though, also we weren't greeted at the door and were left standing there awkwardly until a staff member came which was annoying
E. L.
Delicious food, super fresh ingredients! I recommend having the prosciutto and burrata.
A. L.
Really good food and vibe, the bread was great and the fish crudo amazing. Salami maybe a bit of a miss but more because it's just Salami so I don't know what I was expecting
A. D.
Delicious food, stunning ambiance and great staff. Highly recommend Bar Totti’s.
d. m.
Best small plate eating I have had in years great food great atmosphere. Nice helpful staff
V. N.
The wood-fire bread here is to die for! I come back all the time just for the bread and sides! Highly recommend, as the food here is amazing!
Instagram: @valerie.n.eats
D. T.
Great place for excellent tapas and a good wine list. Waitering staff are excellent.
A. R.
Delicious food and fantastic service, especially given we'd come straight from the airport with all our bags!
L. Z.
The holy trinity - woodfire bread, burrata, prosciutto
Tiramisu is heavenly too! Not too much sponge finger, lots more cream and less sweet than other tiramisu I have had
W. T.
Great experience! Definitely an unique dining experience for those who haven't been before. The bread is the main dish and you order side dishes around it. It's by no means cheap but definitely worth it. Only downside is that you have to go to adjacent venues to use the bathroom.
K. s.
Vibrant venue, smiling staff, food was fantastic - bread, cured meats, cheeses, the dishes from the grill were tasty. Sword fish fillet with buttery pumpkin. Good cocktail list, although I can't go past a classic Martini. Lots of juicy Italian light and fun wines too. The party was still pumping late with an epic DJ with some great beats. I could wine n dine there daily!
G. E. A.
I really love this place, have been a few times in the last few weeks and the food has been absolutely delicious. But please guys, please... if you are going to have a pour line, pour to it. Felt a little bit annoyed given we were having a $21 “small” glass of red.
S. I.
We went in for some wine and nibbles. The wood fired bread they got is one of my favourite
A. T.
Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Wood fired bread was amazing
R.
Great food, enjoyed it every time.
But the music is abit too loud
R. B.
Food was OK....OK food with average service while charging a premium price. I guess that people come to this venue because there is a club upstairs ..
Mortadella fashion..!
M. T.
Simplicity at its finest. The menu is short but nothing on it will disappoint. Wine list is great!
G. B.
My partner and I absolutely love simple Italian cooking and this place does that exactly, we could not fault a single item we ordered other than the pickled octopus which tasted like store bought from a fine deli. The kingfish was amazing as was the grilled prawns, great for a quick lunch or an easy dinner. The wine list was phenomenal with endless choices, I highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.
B. Y.
Comfy after work spot. The bread is to die for and the drinks are nice.
J. S.
Went yesterday for lunch with a friend and food was fantastic as everytime I go, it's never disappointing. The turning down point was the service, the whole time was good until we finished eating and the staff quickly cleared the table and brought the bill, few minutes later another waiter with short hair came with the eftpos machine already with the amount in it and presented to us, to what I responded that we haven't even looked at the bill and if she can give us 5 more minutes. After that time she came again and without saying a single word, presented the machine again, we then paid and left. Don't know why they were rushing us, it was 2:30 pm, the restaurant was almost empty, there was people still eating, it felt really rude, we spent quite a lot for a table of 2, we left a bit disappointed with that situation.
P. M.
Really welcoming place to share a drink after a concert at the Recital Hall. Great staff.
A. J.
This Monday night, my partner and I went to Bar Totti's, as we never visoited that place, we were expecting classic italian food, we saw the wood fire oven and immediately we were craving for a nice pizza. When we realised, they were not doing pizza but only bread, we decided to leave but a bright young man named Jack explained us the menu and gave us great recommendations with the antipasti menu so we decided to give it a go. It was AM-A-ZIIIIIIIIING!!!! Food was super fresh and tasty, everything was spot on, the prosciutto was as thin as infant hair, the burrata as fluffy as a cloud on spring afternoon, the beef tongue was so yummy i tried to french it, the kingfish crudo was fresher than Will Smith at Bel Air.... The drinks were really nice too especially the amaretto sour... Well done Bar Totti's and well done Jack, will definitely come back!
N. L.
Great atmosphere, perfect place for a few drinks and snacks to start a night
R. W.
Caught up with a friend over a few drinks and finger food. Place was packed. Drinks on the tap are cheap and taste good. Wood fire bread and barrata are great! The guy who looked after us among a big group of people surrounding us did a good job!
A.
Was fantastic the first time, but on subsequent occasions must say the food was too salty; bit overzealous on the salt. Steak could have been better and prawns were abit ordinary for the price. Will still come back due to the drinks and quality attentive service
E. G.
Great lunch today - prosciutto, burrata & oven bread to start were delicious. Then we both had Swordfish mains from the grill, so tasty. Great atmosphere & vibe with friendly staff 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
F. S.
It's a bar with Aperitivo in mind. Pick your food and enjoy. Quite expensive, but you are in CBD..
B. T.
Service by table staff were great. Really helpful with deciding what to eat as it was our first time there.
Selections really hit the spot. Nice and fresh.
Recommended for group lunches.
B. H.
At first glance the menu looks a bit dubious, with flatbread and antipasti being the centrepiece. Just try the food! The flatbread is a gorgeous, fluffy, puffy seasoned wheel straight out of the wood fired oven. Every side we ordered was on point my personal highlights were the mortadella, melon and tiramisu.
F. K.
Definitely overrated. Proteins (steak and fish) were served on their own with no real sides to cut through the dishes. We tried to order sides but there wasn't anything except salads and eggplant. Best dishes were the bread and cheese. Overall - limited menu, average food and most definitely not worth the price you pay.
F. A.
You will be happy just ordering the bread, burrata and tomatoes!
J.
Bar Totti’s is a casual and vibrant place to hang out with friends for cocktails and tapas. It’s super busy, so be sure to book ahead of time. The service is quite good. The wood-fired bread is excellent! Although the menu is quite limited, and the dishes are not worth their prices, I believe that the bustling atmosphere makes up for it. In addition, the quality of the food is good; absolutely loved the creamy burrata and prosciutto. The prosciutto was salted perfectly! I highly recommend their tiramisu, as it was fresh and the coffee taste wasn’t too overpowering. The tiramisu was also extremely decently sized.

great fresh food and lots of variety, love the atmosphere
N. E. M.
A great place to go for a drink or meal. They have a slightly smaller selection on the food menu but you wouldn't know it. Great food and drinks matched with excellent service.
C.
Menu was very limited. The wait staff should've warned that we have over ordered between the two of us. The pork chop was very salty. Unbearable to eat without any fresh sides. not worth getting the pork chop. One slice and i need a big jug of water.
E. C.
As their name states, it’s more of a bar, so be aware that it’s a tapas, share dish cuisine but you’ll be back for the bread and Burrata!
My friend and I ordered the Woodford bread, burrata, olives, parfait, ox tongue and a few of the cured meats. The burrata was so good, we ordered another serving.
Seeing the other reviews, I can agree that service was average. My experience however was good and I thoroughly enjoyed the food! I was getting what I expected and would definitely be back with a few more friends and a few more drinks!
C. G.
Superb, whole fish was a stand out
J. A.
Always fresh, insanely delicious in a fabulous environment and always a smile from the perennially, hands-on owner and staff. Thank you, Justin Hemmes, Kate and Max!
R. J.
Excellent food and value, must try the Italian bread. Have also introduced good pasta
N. A.
Great vibe, food and wine - Bar Totti's is the perfect place for groups. We went here for my birthday and it was a great place to start the night before heading out. Bar Totti's doesn't have the full menu of the Totti's in Bondi however it was really easy to fill up on the antipasti, especially the infamous bread. Quick, friendly service also.
S. j.
Good food.I only didn't like seating arrangements.

Went for lunch with a friend on a Saturday. We selected 5 side dishes - octopus, eggplant, cheese, mushrooms and prosciutto with their bread. Yum Yum and Yum. We couldn't stop eating it was so delicious.
A little disappointed with the wine though. Service was great - very attentive and seemless.
D. Y.
Good vibes overall. Not an extensive menu but the bread + burrata are both incredible. Our waitress only told us 1 of 3 specials and another waiter had to share the others with us later after we already ordered....
R. M.
Excellent customer service! Whenever I needed something they were there for me. Thank you guys.
C. C.
Good food, simple menu. Star of the show for me was the wood fired bread. Then the burrata... which is pretty basic and really can get anywhere. Bit on the exy side for casual dining, but service was attentive and had a nice relaxed atmosphere!
P. P.
Great style of menu; just one bread type and so many options to go with that bread..
For us, the highlight was Elle, the person who looked after us while we were at the restaurant.. Extremely warm and positively perceptive..
S. P.
Great food and service. Prosciutto, bread and tomino are must try.
R. S.
Excellent customer service! Whenever I needed something they were there for me. Thank you guys.

We were told "let's see what we can do for you" with only four people sitting in an almost empty walk-in restaurant. The next waitress decided to rearrange the two glasses after pouring one. Luckily the food made up for the slow service.
K. M.
Great atmosphere and fun menu, no reservations for groups under 8 but if you get there early you should be fine. Everything we tried was delicious. They have good mocktails too!
T. P.
This is a very clean and friendly place to shop. I always enjoy coming here.

A smaller, but just as delicious version or Bar Totti's Bondi. The bread and burrata is a must 🌟
N. E.
Lovely atmosphere and THE most incredible dishes. I am almost certain we ordered a majority of the menu (including dessert) and do not regret any bit of it. Amazing.
M.
Established services and food. A safe choice without much surprises.
S. Y.
The wood fire bread and antipasti was amazing!
J. D.
Delicious. Loved everything, especially the bread. Everything is designed for sharing so it's the perfect opportunity to order a range of dishes!
M. B.
Fantastic place! Excellent customer service, efficient process.
J.
it’s a busy spot.. the bread is delicious. they don’t have the full menu like the Bondi location, this one just has sides and bread.
our server brought out the wrong order and then got moody when we told her it was the wrong item. she also charged us for it which just left a bad impression.
J. L.
Fantastic food and service. Steak was amazing.
T. T.
We were waited on by Silvio he was great and very engaging made good suggestions on the food, great atmosphere and reasonably priced
F. C.
Great food and very laid back casual atmosphere
A. L.
Great vibes and cute place to catch up.
D. Y.
Very enjoyable night with the staff being really special. Favourite dish was the grilled prawns followed by the steak
A. S.
I find the perspective of this place very refreshing.🥰 The staff is very graceful and keeping Merivale standards high as usual. We were a big group , came in just before the kitchen was closing and still there was no change in the quality I received.
S. H.
Pretty good i think. The price is a "average-high" but the quality of the food is good, the taste is also very pleasing for an south east asia tongue like myself. The chef waiter and waitress are friendly too. usually this restaurant is a little bit crowded at peak hour or weekends. I would recommend the Beef Tounge and ribs too!
S. C.
Had great time here XD
H. G.
Beautiful interiors, great atmosphere and tasty food. We were able to grab food at 10:30pm on a Sunday - such a treat! Really impressed with this place.
B. B.
Very nice place just table ( food is quite nice ) just vine list is a bit expensive. Just one more thing tables are quite close each other. Considering pandemic.
D.
Always very good. Wood fired bread is a non negotiable. Don't go past the pickled octopus, the star is actually the olive oil.
S. S.
Service and food was on amazing! Every dish we ordered was perfect! I will definitely be back 👌
R. R.
Food was good quality, fresh and flavoursome. Simple yet very satisfying. Had a great lunch.
U. Y.
Why nobody talks about pasta? The best pasta I’ve had so far!!!!
S. K.
Its good. Food is very nice, staff are friendly. But loud though - and pricey. But worth for a good night out
G. B.
The lesser of the pretentious eateries in the merivale complex. Delicious food, great staff and ambience.
Pro tip: always get the bread and burrata 👌
Z.
THIS IS THE RESTAURANT SYDNEY NEEDS. Sat down for dinner at 10:00pm - food service is available until 2:00am. Ordered a selection of share plates, and all of them (king prawns, burrata, peppers, haloumi salad, bread, tiramisu) were faultless. LOVE THE BREAD.
Big windows front out onto George Street, so great for people (and light rail) watching. Back bar more intimate with a DJ at the back end of the week. Seriously vibing. Run, don't walk here.
M. J.
Good food but very poor customer service. Cleaned the table without checking if we finished food or not.
Z. E.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Its a must try. The one located in bondi got a beautiful outdoor area .
Highly recommend
K. L.
Bar Totti's is the new venue offering from the Merivale group after the roaring success of its Eastern suburbs gem Totti's in Bondi. The junior Totti's is located in the ivy precinct and the main entrance is on George Street right behind the tram stop. At the back of Bar Totti's is a bar area for drinks and more casual dining. Casual dining will have the small plates menu at Totti's, including favourites such as the wood-fired bread, burrata and tomatoes. There is a restaurant area where you will find the full Totti's menu. Given the hype and that it is a new venue, be prepared for a long wait to get a table in the restaurant area. Otherwise have a drink and nibbles at the bar area while you wait. There is no bathroom and you will have to walk through Little Felix to find the little boys room.

F.
Was too busy drooling over my hot date to wholeheartedly appreciate the food. But man it’s Totti’s, good vibes and bread, what could possibly go wrong? A good date normally leads to a five star rating from me no matter what. Cheers x
K. B.
Always an amazing time at Totti’s! For someone who doesn’t like eating a lot of bread, I absolutely loved their bread there! The side dishes to go with the bread were delicious too. We got mushroom, burrata, chicken pate and mortadella. And the staff were super friendly too. Highly recommend Totti’s for a quick bite or even a boozy lunch or dinner!
The only downside is the tables are really close to each other, and some other guests could be quite loud.
S. H.
Very good service.
Food tastes like Italy.
A bit noisy inside, perhaps I'll try the one in Bondi too
J. K.
The food was OK, not the best Italian food I've had, even in Sydney. What was worse was the 2 hour wait for our main course to arrive, the fact the waitress took our order for additional drinks and forgot to bring them, and the gall to have the tip menu open on the card payment screen when I went to pay.
Overall a disappointing experience and one I won't be eager to repeat anytime soon. Caveat emptor!!
