We were greeted at the entrance and our waiter Paul (and Steve) was just fantastic the whole night. I was impressed at the attentive service. My water was always filled, the butter was room temperature and bread roll was warm, they only ever presented the cutlery for whichever course was on the table. The ambience is very cozy and welcoming too. I love the paintwork. My mom asked about the wine and they brought two options for her to sample, I was just very impressed by the service at Bentley.
Everything was brought to the next level when the food started to arrive. The snacks were great, I enjoyed the smoked eel and clam custard a lot. The kingfish was very fresh. My main was a pork belly which personally I found a bit too salty. The dessert was a dark chocolate licorice cake with raspberry reduction. My compliments to the pastry chef, it was so good. It was a great experience.

I can say most of the dish was great. Really nice flavour, great balance and tasty bit for the temperature of some food wasn't good. Especially for Petit four. They were too cold so I couldn't taste properly and Sea urchin custard if it came with more like room temperature it would be perfect but except that one it was really nice.It was really good experience. Amazing food, second to none service, beautiful ambiance. One of the best restaurants in Sydney and it seems to have remained that way for many years for a reason. We went there with my partner for our private Christmas dinner that we do every year. The food was presented elegantly and everything was so delicious. They were able to accommodate my dietary requirements as a pregnant and it did not feel like I was missing out on anything. They also have a considerable wine list, including by the glass which my partner had to go by. I would definitely recommend if you are after a top quality dining experience.

Lovely restaurant, service is right up there, we thought we wouldnt be full after smashing through their 4 entres and a main but after the 3rd main you really feel it lol.
Their tasting menu consists of a lamb dish, the largest main in the tasting menu, so if youre not a fan of lamb make sure to tell them and they'll substitute for beef or pork.

Delicious food with abysmal service. It was a special night for us (birthday) but wait time between dishes was much too long. 7 course meal over 3 hours , with us waiting for the final petit fours at the end for over 40 minutes. When we finally asked for it to takeaway, as we did not want to wait longer, it was presented to us in an odd dirty kitchen container ( think container for ingredient preps). Also both tables next to us received complimentary dessert for their celebration s but we received none. We also asked for bill twice.

We had the tasting menu, and while you can't rank it up there with the global Michelin starred restaurants, it's very good and more than justifies the price they are charging for it.
The service is also impeccable and excellent all around, and the comfortable, romantic and private ambiance means it's a great location for dates and special occassions.

This is one of best fine dining restaurants in Sydney. We have dined here twice and will be back again. Matching wines were perfect and so complimentary to the food - a must try. All dishes were amazing. I didn’t need to have the petit fours, I should have ended on the last dessert to finish on a high note. Had the lovely opportunity to dine here with the limited truffle menu! Absolutely stunning, the service, food, and atmosphere is just perfect for date night. The truffle menu is a crowd pleaser as each dish takes you on a nutty, tasteful and fragrant truffle adventure! The head chef was kind enjoy to join us in the dining area and gave us a run through about the truffles, which are locally sourced in Perth!
Would highly recommend to make your night into a special dinning experience that you won't forget.

snapper - absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection and the sauce that went with it was superb. Really liked this!
Dessert:
pumpkin curd - my least favorite of the lot. Ice cream was overwhelmed by the pumpkin And mandarin. When taken together all the flavours didn’t seem to marry well.
olive oil ice cream - order this the next time you’re there! Stellar. Delicious ice cream that had a apple crumble at the bottom which provided a textural crunch. Olive oil was fruity and the pineapple beer was interesting.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Bentley Restaurant while staying at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel. I was received warmly and seated quickly. The decor and ambience was comfortable and trendy!
I started with a whiskey sour cocktail which was perfectly crafted. I had oysters on the half shell followed by my main course of fish. The meal was not only delicious, but it was artfully presented. I enjoyed a wine pairing with my main dinner that worked to enhance and elevate the dinner to a wonderful gourmet experience.
The staff was professionally trained and give the restaurant high marks across the board. I would definitely recommend visiting the Bentley if you are in Sydney.

The seafood was good and wagyu steak and thick cut chips was definitely most tasty. Sadly the dessert was personally not the flavours I was use to and found the combinations unpleasant. Recently had my first dining experience at Bentley in a small group.
Covid safety measures have been very well implemented (ie easy access to QR codes; signature hand sanitisers through the restaurant and on each table).
We decided to have the à la carte option which is 3 courses compared with the full degustation menu. On the latter, interestingly they have a non-alcoholic pairing of drinks (juices compared to wine) which I’ve never seen before and thought was great to see an inclusive option like that for people who don’t drink.
For the 3 courses they have a range of options of each. All the options were both delicious and presented at the highest level. Highlights from the group including the kingfish, octopus, rib eye and Murray cod.
In addition to the 3 courses that each guest can select, you also receive a number of starters and one dessert.
Wine section is vast as you’d expect and the service level matched what you’d expect at this level restaurant.
Overall I’d highly recommend and I look forward to my next opportunity to return.

The food was innovative, offering something very different for the palate. Most dishes were balanced, with a few standing out more than others. They were quite sharp and tart so I’d say it also depends on your preferences. The restaurant was too dimly lit for me however. The service definitely needs improvement. Staff members were not well trained. Next course served before last course’s empty plates were collected, cutleries forgotten, etc. Most importantly, there was no front of house to greet me, which should not be at a restaurant of this calibre. Would go back for the fantastic food though!

Went there for our 10 year anniversary (oh god, that long!) and it was definitely not a mistake. The dishes in the degustation were absolutely delish, with the starter of fish the standout. Service was attentive, but not stifling. The surroundings were a tad dark, but it was to convey intimacy, I suppose! Worth the money? Definitely.

The Bentley is a wonderful place to take a date. It’s classy, it has a pre-meal bar area and most importantly the servers are attentive but not creepy. They also have two nice event spaces if you want to host a function.
I’m told the food is seasonal so check the menu before you go. I had the Wagyu Chuck Tail flap which I found wonderful although the portion was on the small side. Would be best to grab a main each and another to share. They have a great wine selection so definitely ask the waiter to help you find something to pair with your meal.

This is a review for your providoor home pack. Thankyou for being one of the only restaurants to offer a more "fine dining" style home pack during lockdown. I purchased it for my partner's birthday and we loved every single dish from beginning to end. We have been doing home packs since the pandemic started and whilst they have been good, this felt like the most authentic restaurant experience at home. The instructions were great, everything was packaged well and the food waa absolutely delicious. The prawn entree, kombu butter and desserts were incredible! Will definitely be visiting the restaurant as soon as lockdown is over.

Bentley is such a beautiful restaurant. It feels opulent yet modern. Dark and romantic yet humming & buzzy. The staff are all friendly & knowledgeable especially the sommeliers who seem to be across a bible of a wine list that offers such a wide variety of familiar and the unusual. The food is decadent in terms of lusciousness when you eat it with so much flavour and attention to detail in each item. Like black sesame or kombu butter or perhaps the chicken fat mayo for the abalone. The striploin was a standout as was the hand cut super crunchy fries. An indulgence for sure but worth every dollar.

Service was attentive but not overbearing. Food also appear in timely sequence which was good. However some issues with quality of food. I do not find the oysters to be very fresh in general. The salad is also a bit of let down as the sauce is not mixed evenly. The portions were good but a little boring. Dessert was the best part, but probably would not revisit based on this price ($90). To me, if the restaurant want to charge at this price, the food has to be impeccable in flavour and presentation. The duck I ordered for example, was no better than what I can do at home. I am a competent home cook, but a restaurant at a 5 star hotel would need to outperform me to be worthwhile for me to visit. It would also be good not to assume everyone pays by credit card, and ask first before issuing the bill, I do not mind waiting as it was my day off, but for business people they may not have the time to wait before their next scheduled meeting.

We've dined at Bentley many times over the past few years, most recently in April 2021. Bentley is our favourite restaurant in Australia and among our favourites in the world (let's say it numbers among EMP in NYC and Narisawa in Tokyo for us). We love it so much, we held our wedding here.
The food is fantastic - delicious, beautiful and creative. They nail their proteins, whether fish or red meat. It astonishes us how they can turn out such fantastic and well paced dishes, whether for normal services or events, from what seems to be a small kitchen (at least, it seems small from our layperson's perspective).
They always have a wide selection of amazing cocktails and we love being able to have a cocktail pairing with the tasting menu (we prefer spirits over wine). Their service is excellent - attentive, friendly and unpretentious. The decor/ fixtures/ lighting pendants are works of art and the vibe is perfect for a date night or a night out with friends - dark, moody and intimate. That said, we've had business lunches here too and Bentley doesn't fail to impress during the day.
The only negative thing I can say about Bentley is that during a meal here in 2018, service from a specific person was hit and miss. Since then though, we haven't encountered this person, nor any other issues.
Bentley is "the whole package" for us and we've come to expect this high standard from its sister restaurants too.

The tasting menu was great but nothing amazing. The snacks were interesting and the desserts were delightful. The service was a hit or miss unfortunately. There was a waiter who seemed disinterested and fed up. He didn't really bother introducing the dishes and was already half turning/walking away as he VERY briefly stated what each dish was – he basically repeated what was stated on the menu (or less than what was written on the menu if I'm being honest). It's unfortunate that half of my courses were served by him. Thankfully, the final waiter who brought out the petit fours was a delight to talk to and to be served by. The main waitress of the night was also wonderful and saved my experience at Bentley. She thankfully served a couple of my courses and was very friendly.

Food was average for a fine dining restaurant nothing that sparked my palette however I did find one waitress rather obnoxious and rude it was as if she was forced to work a shift. Unprofessional especially in a fine dining restaurant. In terms of atmosphere it was lovely, also wished the wait staff explained the plates professional rather than “Duck”.

We bought the VIP seating for the show so we were front and center. And more importantly we were the first people to hit the buffet. The breakfast food was your standard fare (waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) with some other
great additions for the lunch portion (chimichangas, spring rolls) and plenty of fruits. Too much more to list.
The VIP section also came with unlimited champagne. Granted it was just Cook's, but when you're all having a good time it doesn't really matter.
The hour and a half show went by very quickly. Looking forward to going again next time!

Having done quite a bit of fine dining the atmosphere was a bit more raucous then other places I've visited, but from other dining experiences in town I think that's more a difference between Australia and Europe. When we ordered the 8 course menu our first course was delayed and my dining companions meal was incorrect and incomplete. However the staff quickly fixed the order and gave us prompt and professional attention (a truly excellent staff). The food was absolutely delicious and the wine pairings were wonderful. The semolina was highly knowledgeable and told us so much excellent information about the varietal and the grower. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Solid food, almost comparable to Quay just without the extra edge and the price, and somewhat kind service. Finding somewhere in Sydney to celebrate a special occasion is not difficult. That special birthday, anniversary or graduation is enhanced with a good menu and a wine list. The difficulty comes when you are a vegetarian and are out with meat lovers. The Bentley offers a wonderful degustation menu which is sumptuously created and crafted and which, like a rainbow, spans the flavours. The uniqueness is that it offers this in two varieties; vegetarian and non vegetarian. Both of the menus are remarkably delicious and the whole experience is well timed. Pair it with wines and you will have an evening to remember. The service is great too.

This is modern Australian fair. It is in a central location and at the upper end of the market. I was there for lunch. The menu is interesting and extensive. I was with two colleges who had the barramundi and me being vegan was offered a number of options that could be made vegan and was even offered a dish from the dinner menu. It was obvious they were intent on ensuring customer satisfaction. The food was very good and well presented in an interesting and on trend location. We selected a fantastic wine from the wonderful wine list. Service was professional and unobtrusive. Overall a very good experience and well worth a visit.

We had the tasting set, most items were very good, but when the meat dishes arrived, the chicken was hard to cut with the knifr and the beef was just OK. Our family group of three had a diverse range of dishes - including for one of our group who is a vegan. We all enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant is not easy to find if you weren't aware that it is inside the Radisson Blu Hotel - there is no external restaurant signage. You might find it useful to have your phone handy as you may need it to read the menu in this quite, quite dimly lit restaurant. There is quite an interesting choice of dishes and we had the kingfish collars, pickled squash, koshihkari rice and aged duck breast plus a few other dishes and we were quite happy with each dish. It is a busy, and sometimes a little noisy , but overall we found it to be a quite satisfactory dining experience.

The staff was a bit pretentious, the food very tasty but OMG can you make the portions any smaller?!? Honestly when we were presented with the appetizers we thought it was a joke, or that it was one of those restaurants where the chef sends you a complimentary taste of some special signature dish! We looked at each other and asked "wasn't there supposed to be 2 Morton bay bugs in this dish?". Anyway as I say it was very tasty, but literally just about 1 tablespoon each. The problem with the staff is that they didn't seem to have any patience while we select what to eat, but later we found it almost impossible to get their attention, and they knew we had tickets to the opera, so it made us very anxious to see that it was getting late and nobody would pay attention to us as we needed to get our bill.

This is the third of four sister restaurants I've been to. The other two are Yellow and Monopole. Have loved all of them, but Bentley is definitely the best so far. We had the 8-course menu with matching wines. My brother had the standard wines and I ordered the premium. With the other two restaurants, there was one dish we each didn't care for, but here, we loved every single course which is pretty amazing considering there were 8 + a taster at each end. The portions of food and wine were perfectly sized, so we didn't walk away feeling bloated or drunk - something that would take have taken the edge off the evening. This was the best meal I've ever had. Looking forward to trying Cirrus (the 4th sister restaurant) next.

I'll echo several other reviewers by noting that this restaurant deserves all of the accolades it has received and should expect many more. The room is tastefully decorated and successfully walks that careful but precarious line between "fine dining" and pretension. Every dish excites and some are truly inspired. For example, while I surmised I would be served a glorified and overpriced tomato and feta salad, I was surprised to discover the brilliant additions of cashews and sumac bread crumbs (a delightful crunch) resting a bed of heirloom tomatoes bathed in garlic oil, sherry maple and balsamic vinegar. My "Greek" salads will never be the same. The menu is fluid but you can be assured an experience of modern Australian cuisine in all its glory. A must visit.

Elegant dining experience. The interior was superb and the mood was very classy.
Definitely one of the Best Modern Australian restaurants in the CBD. The food were delicious, as per expectation, but saying that I couldn't pin point one that really blowed my mind.
We enjoyed our time, and definitely will visit again.

我也是随吃随写,吃到Murray cod蒸鱼的时候,我觉得这家店和山西馆子的关系不大,因为这个鱼太咸了,比呴儿都咸。
鱼吃完了就是漫长的等待。
