Comments of Blue Swimmer at Seahaven

Fries were too crispy, they could definitely use a shorter frying time.
The sandwich flavour was really good, but the proportion of meat / bread was low in my opinion.
25$ was a bit pricey IMO.

Best hash browns I’ve ever tasted! Well seasoned, fluffy potatoes and the perfect, crispy hash brown crunch. Egg and bacon rolls are loaded if that’s what you’re after. Strong coffee, fresh juices. I recommend the watermelon and strawberry juice. Perfectly cooked poached eggs! Friendly and welcoming local cafe if you’re in the Gerroa area. Will come here again!

Had a great time with an after birthday party meal at the Blue Swimmer. Loved the food and wine. Forgot to photograph my meal at the start but here's a shot halfway through, Octopus with orange and fennel salad plus pomegranate. My wife had the beautiful lamb with whole corncob, I tasted it, it was excellent. Thx guys.

Great food and friendly service. Best view from outdoor tables. Crab messy to eat but tasted great!
D. P.
Lovely staff, goergous location. Small menu but everything is top quality. Best coffee available.

Cafe with good vibes not far away from the beach. Food is tasty. Only cafe in Gerroa.

We came to blue swimmer this weekend for lunch. It was one of the most enjoyable meals I've had that I can remember. The dishes were interesting, perfectly cooked, and very fresh. The kitchen is pretty quick and staff were great. If you're in the area I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Lovely spot in Gerroa. Fantastic food, good mix of menu options and lovely service. We had dinner here as well as breakfast and coffees

We first dined here 15 years ago when it was The Seahorse, and trying to make South Coast dining a little more interesting and classier. I'm delighted to say after a very long break, we found that brief has been built on and improved. The food is superb, with plenty of interesting choices.
We shared the ceviche as an entree, which was interesting but needed just a little more zest. But no issues at all with our mains - the fish tacos were awesome, as was the fisherman's stew. Wonderful, fresh seafood, perfectly cooked, and with great flavours.
Serves were huge so we were going to skip dessert, which was disappointing as I wanted to try the halloumi donuts. As a dessert in a serve of 4, they're a dish to be shared around a table, but the server suggested I could try a kid's serve of one, and it was sensational.
Coffee was good, there's a great choice of local and other beers, but the strawberry fizz mocktail was perfect for lunch.
Best of all was the service - everyone we dealt with was friendly, knew the entire menu backwards and did everything they could to help. Food was brought out fast, cleared quickly, and as others finished their meals, tables were quickly cleared and sanitised,. The need for gluten free for one person was instantly met with suggested choices and offers to adapt dishes.
Due to social distancing you need to book - there's not a lot of tables here to start with and and the required spacing means not that many can be served at any one time inside the restaurant. But they're adapting by doing takeaways, and also offering coffee, pastries, burgers and fries from a hatch at the front door if you just want something to take down to the beach or park. A great location and a must visit restaurant if you're on the South Coast

The beef daube was the most delicious meal I have had in a long while. It was a huge serving and so tender, beautifully flavoured… just perfect. Congratulations to the chef

So good we would day trip from Sydney to eat here again. We had lunch here from our trip from Sydney to Merimbula, and this was a truly memorable experience. The staff are so friendly and the food and drinks are superb. The berry mocktail was sublime and the banana yoghurt smoothie was understated and brought out the natural flavours. We both shared the fish tacos (the best I've ever had outside of North America), and the sticky chicken burger had the best mix of flavours in a burger I've tasted in a very long time. You should try to book as this place is popular.

The prawn pasta and the market fish were really delicious, but the halloumi donuts were the highlight of the night.
They were the best donuts I've ever had - so so fluffy and tasty. I'll be sure to visit whenever I'm in Kiama again.

With views across the Crooked River out to the Tasman Sea, Blue Swimmer elicits a coo of delight as we pull up for dinner. The heavily sloping road running down to the water, gives the deep blue restaurant a ramshackle vibe, aided by a tin roof, verandah and asymmetrical glass box extension jutting off one side. Sitting inside it, we watch the sky turn forty shades of pink as we work our way through a series of share plates, complemented by our own wine (BYO $10/bottle).
Under a curly mop of fennel & micro herbs, kingfish ceviche ($23) pleases the palate with firm-fleshed fish and a tickle of mandarin. Plucked from an all-day menu, the herb felafel bowl ($24) might have been designed with lunch in mind, but works out well enough as a shared green course with dinner. The crisp green felafel are better then most, and the perfect, flavoursome avocado showed off the kitchen’s eye for good produce.
Topped with a burnt lime, grilled sourdough and a dusting of cheese, a well-cleaned bowl of plump mussels ($26) is enjoyable to eat against a soupy green laksa-inspired curry. We end on clam and pork fettuccine ($28), a less eye-catching dish that didn’t skimp on flavour with cherry tomatoes, white wine, parsley lemon and breadcrumbs uniting the briny little clams and crisp pig. My only complaint was that it ate a bit dry, which would probably be fixed with a nice glass of red.

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Dinner Here
We Ordered The Burata Salad, Ribs, Clam Pasta, Beans, Potatoes & The Haloumi Donuts!
So Pretty Much Half The Menu ahhahah
Burata Salad Was Fresh and Light, Beans Had Great Flavour, Clam Pasta Had Great Punchy Flavours Too (Just The Pasta Choice Made Me Feel Like I Was Eating Two Minute Noodles), The Haloumi Donuts I Have Mixed Feelings About But Worth A Try (Jam Is Potent) And Our Service Staff Were Great.
The Decor & Ambience Could Do With A Little Upgrade But It's Quaint And Suits The Area I Guess.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch of oysters and fish tacos here on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were extremely accommodating, finding us a table without having a booking during lockdown, which is always challenging! We were lucky enough to be seated at a table with an ocean view. Attentive service, beautiful location, lovely ambience - we really enjoyed it here and can't wait to go back!
R. P.
We had an amazing meal here this evening for my daughters birthday . The blue swimmer crab was delightful . My son who is Coeliac was accommodated with the exquisite burrata and kafta. We rang 5 restaurants in the area , and blue swimmer were the only ones prepared to help us . Wonderful service from a young lady on her 3rd shift who served us with a smile all night .Thank you .

What a great find! Perfect location and amazing food. Our waitress was so friendly and enjoyed and responded well to our banter. Lamb Ribs, Pork Ragu and flat bread were a perfect meal and the dessert!!!!! Rocky Road OMG!
B. O.
Really nice staff helping find us a spot outside so we could sit with our dog despite it being very busy. Delicious food but the service was top notch.
S. R.
I haven't had a meal this good for a very long time. The menu is a FOMO inducing read, but I can highly recommend the harissa glazed lamb ribs with macadamia crumb. Get the sides of beans and potatoes to share with the table. For dessert, the donuts were delicious, but the lime meringue pie was the pick of the bunch. The kids' chips were underdone, but honestly the rest was so good that it's barely worth mentioning (and they didn't notice anyway!). Thanks for a memorable end to our holiday.
A. G.
Lovely cafe with nice coffee and a variety of options for breakfast. We loved Avocado smash and falafel that we tried from this place. The staff is polite and very helpful. There are few parking places near the beach which can be full on busy days.
D. P.
Lovely staff, goergous location. Small menu but everything is top quality. Best coffee available.
M. &. P. M.
Delicious food and attentive, friendly staff. Highly recommend the fish tacos, especially with a slice of fresh lime- so fresh & tasty, an absolute standout.
J. N.
Great service, they refill your water bottles as soon as it's empty, the menu is all fresh seafood apart from the ribs. It all tastes good.
S. M.
One word. RIDICULOUS!! Absolutely NAILED every dish. From the Sweet Potato and Cashew Hummus w/Sourdough to the absolutely mouth watering Chermoula Spiced Lamp Rump, to the deconstructed Rocky Road, the fluffy and flavoursome Halloumi Donuts and Coffee. The service was friendly, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is cosy and homely, perfect for date night or intimate dinners with friends. The owner/manager is a super nice dude and the food was moderately priced, but in my opinion it's underpriced considering how incredible it was. So cute and tucked away in a residential street and if you blink you'll miss it. Whether you're a seafood lover or not, you'll die and go to heaven at the Blue Swimmer.
Make sure you book at least a day or two ahead though!
S. S.
Amazing location, warm staff, excellent coffee, and tasty food. Definetly a cool surf and beach atmosphere with good music playing. Everything you look for in a cafe and restaurant. We had the Superfood breakfast and it was amazing! I definetly recommend this place even if you are driving through. Secondly, you have a great view of the ocean and river which you can visit on your way out. Checkout the little walking bridge that you can see from the restaurant.
M. P.
Great cafe/restaurant in gorgeous Gerroa. Good menu with a nice range of options. The heirloom tomato salad is a good starter. Tonight's lamb shoulder special was delicious, the eggplant side it came with was nice but didn't go as well as it sounded but was still good. The highlight apart from great service from lovely staff was the Halloumi cinnamon donuts with a rich creme anglaise, OMG so good. Finished with a coffee which was top notch. Wine list very good with very reasonable prices.
E.
I came to this cafe without reading other reviews before and it was one of the first time I was really positively surprised by both food and coffee.
We had the Bagdad Eggs and the Falafel and they were both really good, with a nice and unusual flavor, fresh and delicately spice.
The staff was also good and welcoming, probably the sleepy atmosphere of Monday morning helped too...
J. L.
Stopped by near the local beach here.
Ordered the matcha custard with chocolate crumbs and chocolate sorbet which was tremendously delicious. Very good balance of flavours and a nice generous serving of rich decadent chocolate ice cream. The balcony view is quite great and the interior is cosy. Friendly waiters with great service. Glad to have stopped by here on the road trip as it was a lovely experience.
B. W.
Lovely spot in Gerroa. Fantastic food, good mix of menu options and lovely service. We had dinner here as well as breakfast and coffees
S. F.
Had the fish tacos and the oysters. My wife had the goats cheese salad. They were both great. I had a coffee too which was good. The spot is great but when the windows are open there’s lots of flies... overall it was pretty good and I would definitely go back.
A. P.
Rustic family run location. Small but diverse menu. Staff are polite, professional, friendly. Coffee and food are both fresh, healthy and tasty.
L. W.
My partner and I saw the restaurant review on Sydney Weekender and decided to visit on our weekend get away down the South Coast.
The service was great and food was AMAZING! I had the Ceviche of king fish, fisherman's stew and the Halloumi donuts. Everything was done to perfection and decent size portions.
The fisherman's stew was definitely my favourite! It's hearty and full of good quality seafood.
J. -. P. C.
Great location, and friendly service. Excellent food and wine list. Fish tacos were crispy, full of flavour and juicy, but could have used additional chilli. Oysters fresh and creamy, and a generous bowl of mussels came with a rich, spicy stock flavoured with 'nduja.
S. N.
We have been here a few times but this is the first time under the new owners. The menu is far more developed and sounds like it designed for a more refined palette. Having said that it is still somewhat simple. My fish tacos were okay with the balance of flavours a bit on the fish side and no where near enough coriander. My wife's lamb sandwich was pretty poor.
P. N.
Thoroughly enjoyed lunch here. Warm service and terrific food. Save room for the doughnuts!
S. M.
Fantastic food and service. Group of 6 went there Friday night all of us were so impressed with the food especially the Octopus and deserts
Will definitely be back thank you
J. R.
Great coffee and food - and opens early! We have spent the last 3 days in Gerroa, a beautiful part of the coast. We walked early each morning and enjoyed an early coffee at Blue Swimmer cafe. Had lunch there today and it was delicious! Fish tacos, pasta, all meals were well thought out and freshly prepared. As good as my first visit almost 10 years ago. Thanks!
B. M.
Two hours out of Sydney, the Blue Swimmer is great regional find. Here for Easter holiday, we went for breakfast and lunch. The lunch - fish of the day, marlin, was cooked nicely rare and accompanied by interesting baked cauliflower, smoked tomato side. Delicious. We washed this down with a great 500ml bottle of Vinteloper Guwerzt from Adelaide hills. Really surprising to find a wine list this great, in this location. As this was so good, we went for breakfast next day, had the Baghdad eggs (pictured), wasn’t as good as my wife’s Green Eggs and ham dish. Outstanding house cured bacon, order envy. If every NSW seaside town had local digs this good with as much care in the food (and especially the wine), perhaps more people would visit, more often.
I would.
A. B.
Got an oat chai latte here one Saturday and an almond hot chocolate the following day.
Chai latte was lovely, hot chocolate wasn’t very chocolatey. Staff are lovely.
M.
Delicious food at great prices with a splendid view of Seven Mile Beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this if you are around the Gerroa/Gerringong/Berry/Kiama area
M. K.
Amazing food, great service and good drinks. Loved it!
J. P.
Looked nice. Young girls were very abrupt and police-like even though we were quite happy to conform to their requirements. Nice location if you can get a window seat. Small venue.
W. D.
Great food and friendly service. Really creative and interesting flavour combinations. Great specials. Jalapeño poppers are awesome
S. H.
Lovely service and food! A must stop if you are in the area but also worth the drive down from sydney for a long casual lunch.

I just had the Baghdad eggs and coffee, absolutely delicious !! Plus fantastic staff and service, right by the sea, what more could you want 😃
N. Z.
The food here is quite good, I got the grilled swordfish and it tasted very fresh
J. M.
The staff here are always friendly and it's one of the few options around which could hold its own in culinary competition. Delicious every time.
E.
Good food good staff but there was snail in my breakfast. They should wash their fresh food or change supply.
H. A.
Great little Cafe with an extraordinary kitchen. Interesting and tasty meals complete with young quick and friendly staff.
S. K.
Starting with the positives, a nice relaxing location and friendly attentive wait staff. Fortunately not too busy this afternoon.
We had calamari and the beef ribs with chimmy churri. Unfortunately, being honest, the sizes of both meals were quite small (entre size) and not good value for money. Overall nice flavours, but the beef was tough, chimmy was flat and needed some extra kick, and side of chips very average. Both dishes looked overall lacklustre, thankfully there were some nice flavours to get it up. Some other dishes on other tables looked a better size so it might just have been ours. Menu looked pretty good, but very few options for kids.
M. O.
Seriously amazing coffee. The food looked exciting on the plate but tasted somewhat average.
M. S.
Great local cafe in Gerroa. Fresh ingredients and creative menu. Highly recommend the Baghdad eggs off the breakfast menu

Ahhh! Fresh Friday morning in winter 2020, great Single O coffee, fresh muffin, great view, great vibe. I’m in Gerroa and all is well with the world (at least in this little corner).
M. H.
Good fast fresh coffee every morning. Perfect walk for visitors to Seven Mile Beach or the Gerroa/Gerringong area.
B. Q.
Friendly, casual and serving super fresh seafoods - this is the beach style casual cafe/restaurant that seaside holidays are made of. Friendly and upbeat, staff are smiling despite the busy evening and everything was laid back and easy. Menu is short but served mostly seafood with some meat dishes. Prices were reasonable and serve portions generous. The only criticism would be the ceviche lacked the “sour/citrus” punch that we were used to but still delicious. Definitely will be back when in the area......& reservations are a must!
S. l.
What a gem! Really delicious food while smelling the sea breeze. Wait staff are super friendly, my brother In law would know. Hot tip the halloumi donut rates high on the yum scale, some would say supernormal. Hotter tip you get 4 donuts in a serving which means you can share it and technically get another dessert. I recommend the house churned ice cream. Can’t wait to try the new flavours!
D. W.
We really enjoyed our lunch there yesterday. The lamb was delicious (a bit spicy for my taste, but good). Great location with a beautiful view, helpful and friendly well trained staff. Breakfast there is great as well, I've been a couple of times and was never disappointed. The food was always fresh, cooked and presented well and tasted great, yet the price - value could be better.
M. B.
Amazing staff and menu. Plenty of great options and a perfect place for breakfast lunch or dinner. Great destination place or spot to hit after the beach!
T. F.
The place is unassuming, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is great. Be sure to grab a coffee after your meal because the espresso is the best between Gerroa and Kiama.
I’ve read some complaints about the ceviche and either those customers don’t know what they’re talking about or the recipe has been fine-tuned. It was excellent as a starter and we ordered some bread to mop-up the gazpacho.
M. A.
Amazing food! Best scrabble eggs ever! It was all so tasty!
G. B.
Awesome coffee and muffins. We rode push bikes from Shellharbour just for the muffins and we were not disappointed! Will be back!
T. B.
Been here every year for the last few years. Never fails to impress with interesting and fresh menu, and some returning favourites. Good with kids for lunch, lovely dinner out sans kids (lamb ribs a particular winner this time) and great morning stopover before early morning swim. Looking forward to being back again soon.
A. K.
Was looking forward to the meal after great reviews but sadly the food was disappointing. The fish tacos were crumbed too heavily with the fish overcooked and shell rather dense. The prawn dish was ok. The ceviche was disappointing. Excellent coffee and sweet potato dip and friendly service but not what we were hoping for (nice seafood)
S. T.
Very nice food and coffee
T. M.
An amazing experience !!!!
The welcome was warm.
The ambience is cosy.
The food is to die for .... kingfish ceviche, fish tacos, braised lamb ribs, and the to-die-for halloumi donuts.
.. and finally the service and advice from our two waitresses ... they were attentive, unobtrusive and just perfect.
T. E.
Warm, delicious and a great menu. Must try the baghdad eggs 🍳 ☕️ 🤤
O. J.
I wasn't particularly hungry when I visited which was such a shame as the food looked fantastic! Great service and location. I'll certainly be back
S. W.
Fantastic venue, small relaxing, with an ocean breeze, looking right out onto Gerroa beach.
With online booking we had a table locked in before we arrived. Fast friendly service, knowledgeable staff and great seafood chef!
Price was reflective of the quality and was not so high that price/value was upsetting.
($100 total for 2 people : 1 Main + Dessert and drinks)
The Kingfish special with potatoes and a rich sunflower sauce was filling and delicate. A perfect flavour combination.
Serving size was generous which was very refreshing and satisfying to leave feeling perfectly full.
All of the dishes we tried held up to that standard.
(So many eateries fall 10-20% short in this regard.)
While small and comfortable Blue Swimmer held up to a very high level.
A true gem and in my top 5 places I've eaten in Australia!
D. K.
Great, great and great.
The food, the staff, the location.
Lunch was delicious.
D. M.
The best Falafel anywhere. Do yourself a favour and visit Blue Swimmer, the staff, fresh local produce, chefs and owners exceptional. We need to support local more than ever.
J. B.
Great coffee. Fastest service I have ever had. Nice view 👌
B. I.
Very homely, relaxed, coastal venue. The locally made pasta with prawns was very good.
C. L.
We had a fantastic meal here over the 2021/22 holidays. Thank you!
R. Y.
Friendly, helpful service brings great food to your table. An extensive wine list is available or BYO wine for a modest corkage charge. What's not to like.
S. M.
A very good little restaurant with a good view over Gerroa Beach and inlet, good food, friendly staff, book ahead, public toilets nearby, easy walks nearby. My favourite place for lunch and breakfast. Good coffee.
a. d.
I had the most delicious breakfast!! I love the fresh, organic, local sourced food. The coffee is amazing!! I met the owner's dad Glenn, who was delightful to talk to and recommended some good points to see in my travels down the south coast. Definitely recommend this little hidden jewel. MUST COME AND ENJOY!!!
C. &. E.
We visited twice. The pork and clam fettucine was amazing. The mussel pot was disappointing (the mussels were tightly rationed and the laksa-style broth was a bit ho hum).
A. F.
Looked like a quiet little place to grab a coffee. Stepped inside to find a bustling lunch time in progress. We said we only wanted coffee but they found us a table and made us feel really welcome. The coffee came very quickly even though there must have been around 50 customers having lunch. We didn't resist having a muffin too. Amazing place, amazing staff. Thank you.
L. P.
You know what makes a cafe excellent? It's not just the comfortable temp, great menu, great cooking, great drinks, great atmosphere, and being clean and tidy, which this place has all of. It's them making sure you are happy with everything. It's listening to customers chat about their day. It's when you watch the locals arrive and hear the staff begin making their order before they get inside.
I'm totally recommending this place to my friends! Thank you for a great start to my day. :)
T. M.
Fantastic food and coffee in a beautiful location. It is very popular though so try and book ahead or you may be turned away. I had the eggs and mushrooms which were fantastic, but looking around at the waffles, the scrambled egg (more like an omelette) it all looked fantastic and the whole table was into it.
S. T.
Stopped here for lunch, while doing the Prancing Horse luxury car tour. So nice!
B. W.
Outstanding food and service, could not fault a thing. Very clean space with a lot of character, brilliant flavours in all dishes and a great selection of drinks.
S. B.
Great cafe, staff are excellent, food tremendous, especially dessert. Lovely location. Can't go wrong for breakfast or lunch
P. D.
We travelled down from Canberra for the weekend and could not fault the dishes that we had ( the oysters w/ finger lime, kingfish ceviche and the harissa lamb ribs)or the atmosphere that The Blue Swimmer Crab has. The service from staff was quick and efficient. Gerroa's best kept secret. Definitely will be back
M. F.
We ate here last night and the 6 of us thought the meal was fantastic. In particular, the kangaroo. I’ve eaten at several overseas Michelin hat restaurants, at Dinner by Heston, and generally some of Australia’s top restaurants. The kangaroo was absolutely perfect and one of the best meals I’ve EVER eaten. Nothing fancy, but just a perfect blend of flavour. The fact that I don’t normally write reviews yet am posting this in a few different sites is testament to that.
d. h.
Amazing top class (casual restaurant) a real foodies paradise! Brilliant fish main course followed by home churned salted caramel ice cream- oh wow! This crew really knows good food and how to cook it. Brilliant waitress/hostess- best front of house person ever- outstanding service. Can highly recommend
W. L.
Thank you. We had a weekend in Gerroa and had two great breakfasts at BSS plus fantastic coffee. We also had dinner on the Saturday night and it was top notch! Superb staff as well. Highly recommend this restaurant and cafe. Hats off to the staff.
J.
Fantastic
M. E.
Went for dinner and could not fault it. Professional, attentive service. Friendly, welcoming management. A varied and locally sourced menu. Fantastic food, and a great choice of beers and wines to boot! Will definitely come again to check out what their breakfast is like.
M. S.
The menu on the website is out of date and needs to be updated to be current in Covid times. Less non seafood options is the reality here. As travellers we now need to make our decisions a week or so in advance so it's tricky enough all ready. Cocktails were tasty and the staff friendly. Dress warmly.
K. B.
My husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary at the blue swimmer and it was just perfection. So much care was taken to the evening we had and the food was outstanding. We would recommend to anyone. Thank you particularly to Cain who really went above and beyond to make it a lovely evening for us.
M.
Awesome food.. that change the menu seasonally and keep a fresh rotation of specials, great service, decent coffee and not over priced for the experience.
A. A.
Decent food. Good views.
K.
Ate at this wonderful gem on Saturday night and I can't fault it at all. It was a wonderful experience from wo to go. The service from Sara and Heidi was very proffesional and friendly, nothing was too hard. Very reasonable prices the only thing I would say is to add more wines by the glass. The food was seriously delicious. We will be bringing friends and family back.
E. A.
Such a nice place. Great spot to look out at the beach. Has an intimate atmosphere.
Food and cocktails were incredible and the staff were so nice and friendly.
P. T.
The food and service here was great, new owners were 2 weeks new when we went and you would have thought they'd had it for years. Extensive wine list complimented the food perfectly and the menu itself was expertly thrown together to suit everyone at our table. Will definately make this a regular dine in for us!
M. G.
Lovely cafe hidden away in Gerroa. Had a lovely experience except for Dion the waiter who was extremely rude. We ended up leaving mid way through our meal in disgust. If management is happy to contact me I would be more than happy to elaborate further.
m. r.
Had dinner here tonight for our first restaurant meal since Covid. It was worth the wait.
Kingfish Ceviche, Lamb ribs , Mussels in laksa and Rockroad. All amazing. To top it off the service is exactly what you would expect from Gerroa, friendly , professional and always with a smile . Thank you Ally and the rest of the staff that made our first restaurant night back so unforgettable.
A. S.
Perfect location, top shelf service & the food was sensational ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Been here twice now and it has consistently amazing food and coffee. They were very helpful with our dairy allergies and have the most amazing hash brown I’ve ever had. I’ll be back!
D. K.
Great service, beautiful meals and coffee. Helpful and friendly staff. Need to book well ahead as everyone likes it here.
a. c.
Cosy restaurant with a small menu. Tried the braised lamb ribs and the fisherman's stew, both were tasty. For dessert we had the deconstructed rocky road and house-churned ice cream.
J. T. W.
Amazing and fresh food and ingredients. I will definitely be back.
T. B.
Simplistic cafe bar with a stunning outlook serving wonderful food. Very friendly and helpful staff. The cafe isnt very big but very popular. Speak to the staff as you may be able to reserve a table in advance. The menu is small but the food is fantastic with a varied choice of wonderful meals. We can recommend the breakfast roll with a slighty different twist to what the UK does, accompanied with an unusual but super tasty cubed hash brown, salami, rocket and cheese toastie and as a lunch or evening meal, fish tacos are to die for. Simply stunning.
J.
Looking for Real Food. This is the place .We had a beef brisket Sandwich and a chicken burger and wow. Truly wholesome healthy food. The setting is great .Shame about the parking however never fear their waiters will bring your takeaway order to your car door.Thank you we will be back
C. W.
I live and travel in my vehicle. Sometimes all I want is a good coffee, not food...I search reviews for words that suggest there is a good coffee inside...those words were in these reviews and oh they measured up...coffee was perfect with the added bonus of a cracker view, great music and friendly welcoming staff. Good job team.
T. J.
Great food, excellent service. Better than expected.
F. I.
Great chai latte & friendly staff :)

We ate at the Blue Swimmer recently. They squeezed us in for the early sitting at 6pm. I have many foods that I cannot eat and the chef and owner (?) went to so much trouble to accommodate my needs it left such a positive experience with me that I wanted to say thanks so much to both of them. The food was delicious and guilt free as it included all foods I could eat. Everyone on our table said the food was awesome and their can-do attitude to everything was very refreshing (esp coming from WA where it is not on display that often). Thanks again!
G. T.
Always a favourite. Bfast, lunch or dinner. Great meal again tonight. Very generous servings with a good selection of wines to consider. Daniel runs a top team and well worth putting on your list to visit ... And enjoy.
S. T.
Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Service was excellent and a lovely view of the ocean. The cappuccino I ordered was made to perfection. It's a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get and it's worth it. I'll definitely be back!
C. V.
It was delicious and Erin our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. Food was very fresh and delicious. Try the Kangaroo! It won’t disappoint! Overall, 6 stars from us!
M. P.
Wonderful relaxed ambiance, organised and efficient service. The menu has a very good range of classics and contemporary dishes, all perfectly cooked and presented. Every meal there has been memorable.
M. D.
Great coffee. Great spot for breakfast and the dinner menu is fantastic
H. W.
Lovely view from the cafe of the sea. Inside it is really nicely furnished with a slightly open kitchen which was very well maintained and cleaned which is always a good sign. The menu had a good mix of healthy and artery clogging items. I went for the banana bread with banoffee, mascarpone, honeycomb and pistachios. It was to die for big portion. On the table someone had the bacon and egg roll which came with a tomato jam/salsa thing that smelt great, the other person had the muesli which had some lovely components. The coffee and orange juice were great the hot chocolate wasn't. 3 people, 3 breakfasts, 3 drink $68. 31
A. K.
This was my favourite place to stop into on the south coast but maybe they've recently changed their menu? The old menu was really quality food but the new one is pretty standard food. Coffee is still great though!
G. N.
My Girlfriend and I had dinner here last night whilst having a weekend away from Sydney. The staff were welcoming and friendly which created a great and relaxing atmosphere!! Had 3 courses and all were amazing! Will definitely be re-visiting 👌🏼👌🏼
T. R.

I had fish tacos for lunch - delicious
At the 11th hour I decided on the salted caramel ice cream for dessert. I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur, it was by far the best I've had 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great ambience too. I'm from Sydney but coming down next week for another treat.
S. L.
Yummy brekkie and really good coffee. We had lunch here too and the place prides itself on local produce. The oysters and whole fish was delicious. It is a very busy cafe, and I think it's the only cafe in Gerrora, however it just adds to the charm.
B.
They're always busy as a Nice View, and Nice Services. Not much menus during the breakfast but You can definitely find such a quality food here!
G. G.
Absolutely amazing service and food! Had a lovely brunch with a great view! The coffee was so good and the portion sizes big! The mushrooms on toast are delicious!

(Translated) The service is good, the serving time is a little slow and the wait time is longer. The menu variety is not too much.
(Original)
服务很好,上餐速度稍慢等等时间长些。菜单品种不是太多。

(Translated) Latte was ordinary but the wine was so good. The chocolate ice cream matcha custard dessert we ordered was also delicious. The chocolate ice cream is very thick, but the carriage custard cream balances a bit. If you like chocolate ice cream, please try it. The view around is so pretty, the staff is very friendly, and the cafe atmosphere is good, so please stop by on the way to 7miles! You won't regret it
