That was the first time we’ve been to C9. We were impressed with the coffee, which was so great, sweet and delicious. dark chocolate gelato was nice as well. Highly recommended for coffee and dessert open till late in Newtown. Staffs were nice.

Cute desserts but flavors still don’t beat my favorite! I love that it’s one of the only places in town with gelato sandwiches, and you get several options - cookies (mix and match from 3 flavors), croissant, donuts, cronuts etc. There are a few tables so about 4 or 5 parties can sit there at a time. C9 also stands for cloud 9. I would say it’s a great deal to eat in house because you get additional strawberries and sometimes bananas for no extra charge! The cookies were alright but I would have preferred more chew to them. The dark chocolate gelato (vegan) is definitely a go to as it balances the sweet pastries that go with it. For $10 it’s a steal to get the gelato sandwiches! You can mix the flavors for the cookies, one each and the gelato could be a mix of flavors too. I personally enjoyed the waffles better than the cookies but they were pricier at $13 for a single serving. There was a nice chew and a little bit of caramelisation on the edges of the waffle which went really nicely with the gelato. If you’re looking for a cute dessert place to hang out with friends in newtown, c9 is the place to go!

This place was quite nice with the ambience. The staff are super friendly, and the menu is reasonably priced. I wish I knew that their chocolate ice cream had cinnamon in it, so I would advise them to pick an alternate flavour for me. This is something so minor, and doesn't take away from the quality of the ice cream. If you're ever in Newtown, definitely head on over here!

This place is to die for! I suggest looking up the menu before you go because there’s so much to choose from! I got the lava shake which came with a chocolate lava cake with a syringe of melted chocolate and strawberries on the slide plus a thick shake. Got to pick 3 flavours of ice-cream for the shake, I chose mint, cookies & cream and chocolate brownie. This place is such a treat and I would recommend not going here on a full stomach so that you can enjoy the experience! Very nice staff and also Covid-19 safe!

A chill place to satisfy your sweet tooth ! From the waffles, milkshakes, to their ice-cream sandwiches, this dessert bar has it all. Dishes are at a reasonable price since you get a hefty chunk of gelato. Gives me retro vibes at night, and overall is a lovely place to bond with family and friends :)

Great atmosphere and quality food, gave me a fork and knife to eat my brownie ice cream sandwich, be sure to ask for a spoon next time. Personally I don't prefer the lemon sorbet or lime sorbet flavour, nothing wrong with the taste but it has a sticky texture that gives your lips a dry sensation. Be sure to have drinking water at your disposal.

We had a coconut hot chocolate and strawberry crepe with tiramisu icecream. The coconut hot was the best I've had. It was sweet mildly chocolate and had an obvious but not overpowering coconut flavour. Crepe was lovely however, it was more of a thin pancake than a crepe, soft and stretchy. Tiramisu icecream was very good too. There was real biscuits pieces that were still crunchy, a hint of Kahlua, not fake coffee flavoured sauce. Price was tad high but fair for city shops.

We went to newtown for brunch and passed by this shop around last month. it’s really surprised, I thought my top one gelato shop in Sydney is Messina but sorry,not any more. OMG, molton lava cake!! Single fortune!! My top two. The ice cream is tasty and vast in variations of flavours. Eat in, take away or delivered. I have a hard time picking which ice cream, the fruit flavour ice cream sorbet types are really nice too. Strawberry dippers are super yum. Chocolate sauce is amazing and I have been back so many times cause its the perfect place to satisfy that chocolate or sugar craving.

I simply LOVE this place! I order from here all the time, and I am obsessed with the chocolate lava dessert. Their gelato is excellent, there are so many amazing flavours it's impossible to have a favorite. LOVE IT!

This place never seems to be as busy as it should be - on the upside, it means I don’t have to wait long! So many great dessert options, especially for the chocolate lover. Lots of unique gelato flavours also, which are as good or better than the other gelato options in the area. On my last visit I had the burnt sugar gelato, a flavour worth trying at least once. If you can’t find something you like here you’re too fussy!

Had their hot chocolate there and it was disastrous as it was too watery and far too sweet. I was a bit shocked as one of its speciality was in fact chocolate. But their gelato wasn’t bad so avoid hot chocolate and just have the gelato. If you, however, don’t have a sweet tooth then the gelato might be a bit too sweet for your taste.

Friendly staff but don't have much to offer. The website shows a huge menu of over 20 things and then the menu they offer inside features about 25% of those things. Good ice cream sandwiches (or sliders as they call them). Salted caramel ice cream was nice. Unfortunately it was a little bit messy to eat. The Buzzy Blast crazy shake was refreshingly different. It was a Honeycomb thickshake with cream, honeycomb and honey. Staff were lovely. Would love to see them introduce more toppings like you see in Cream in San Francisco.

This place was amazing! I got hazelnut ice cream in a cone..was given chocolate topping on the bottom and over the top, given a heap of ice cream all for just $3. I was really surprised at how cheap it was and i was so happy at how good it tasted..Definitely coming back here again next time I'm in newtown.

If you love sweet stuff and chocolate then this is your place. Definitely try the $1 chocolate shots on the go - there are different flavours to choose from and they come as good as it gets. There is also a choice of gelato which you can choose to have served between two cookies - the famed gelato slider. A bit messy to eat but definitely something that dessert lovers will dig. Have a try of the flourless chocolate cake as well - it may not look pretty but is definitely very delicious! These guys take their chocolate very seriously and you can rest assured you get served the very best that is out there, from the experts of chocolate.

A great space for older women to enjoy a range of activies including walking, writing , gardening and book club . Friendly staff and volunteers. Love the New Moves class Monday afternoon. The teacher Pauline is funny, warm, welcoming and non-judgemental. They don'tget any government funding so classes cost more than similar council ones which can be expensive for pensioners. The Centre tucked away behind King St near Missenden Rd , is a hidden gem. I attended the OWN annual conference recently which had a fabulous lineup of speakers and topics highly relevant to me.

After leaving about 10 min, I realised I had left my wallet in the cafe and ran back in fear of someone stealing my money etc. Thankfully the person working had taken the wallet and kept it so no one could steal it.
