You can find it all at Cockle Bay Wharf If you’re looking for a a lovely afternoon and evening out, you can’t go past a visit to Sydney’s Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay Wharf. Here you can sip a spritzer at sunset, dine at one of their many venues and enjoy waterfront entertainment such as at Sydney’s first floating cinema, Mov’in Boat. There’s plenty of great dining establishments from Baia the Italian to Blackbird cafe or even a dessert at Lindt Cafe. This iconic dining destination meets all criteria with a range of cuisines well as providing an alfresco experience by the water. For our visit, we ate at Adria Bar and Restaurant, a Mediterranean inspired menu featuring seafood, pastas, meat or salads and plenty of refreshing drinks. We enjoyed lamb souvlaki, fattoush salad and some amazing barramundi, all fresh and healthy, served super efficiently. We loved their range of cocktails and watched the sunset with an Aperol Spritz and Mojito. Such as lovely way to spend the afternoon. We can recommend Cockle Bay Wharf as the perfect pre-theatre dining destination to enjoy a meal before sitting down to a movie at the floating cinema. For something a little different, “Mov’in Boat” is certainly a cool experience. It is essentially a spectacular 1000 sqm floating platform showcasing movies in the open air, with spectators watching from the floating bed, row boat or even their own private boats. Screenings take place from Tuesday’s – Sundays and take your pick of movies; whether it be a romantic comedy, old classic, family or blockbuster on a 4K quality screen. Watch the movie from the comfort of a bed with a big cushions at $99.90 for two people, complete with a bedside table for you to put your food and drinks. You can even take your own yacht in (of course if you’re blessed enough to have your own!) for a fee $49.90 per boat. This is limited to 15 a night. Even a row boat with tailored comfy seats is an option for the film spectating. Hire a row boat for $119.90 (up to four people -2 adults and 2 kids).

This place is gorgeous. There's also a huge, and I mean huuuge outdoor playground for kids and smaller boutiques and food venues in the same location so the older folks can putz around for a while...good luck trying to pry the kids away from that awesome playground lol

Great shopping, entertainment and food. So many choices of cuisine. A food court offers more fast food types of food, while there are also many different options for sit down food. Get your hair, nails done. Or enjoy a sweet treat at the fudge shop. Currently there is a 30+ meter Ferris wheel outside too!

Cockle Bay Wharf is a beautiful spot to meet up and spend time with family and friends. There are lots of restaurants, bars and cafes to sit and eat overlooking the water across to Darling Harbour. The area is popular with both tourists and locals. It has easy access from public transport, as well as a parking stations around it.

The location is quite easy to find and is just a stroll from the Town Hall Station. A nice place for a walk and it also has a few interesting venues to grab a bite in. You can also take a pic with the dancing birds fountain. The areas is generally well kept and is an entertaining place to be. Would not recommend on a weekend night unless you are after a big night out.

Went here for a careers night. The location is easy to find and easy to reach though could use a few more signs. The venue was large enough for the amount of people attending and the staff were friendly. Drinks were adequate as they had a good choice of soft drinks and hot beverages.The canopies provide were good and suitable for the occasion.

I'm writing this from the perspective of a poor uni student. This lace is good for a walk around, that's about it. It's super fancy and full of tourists. All the restaurants are super expensive and were way out of my budget when I was a studying. Only drink here during happy hour, as the drinks are 5 bucks at some places. Happy hour is from 5-7pm I believe. Also inclined to believe some of the drinks are watered down, that or they do half shots. The drinks were all so very weak. There is nothing inherently wrong with the place. It's just not a scene that I, a student, found to be particularly appealing or fun. Expect the chocolate. There is a Lindt store here.

Love this Bay, along with Circular Quay, it's my favorite place to eat, dance or have fun. Ideal for families or friends. Very romantic place to share with your love. Some days you can find great meal deals. Fireworks show some Saturdays (depending the season). Just a short walk from Town Hall station. Plenty car space nearby.

With all the hype and eateries, this is truly a place for locals and tourists! A beautiful location with various functions throughout the year alongside darling harbour. Dockside Balcony Level is an excellent venue for large functions. Was a bit hard to find due to lack of signage. Even local shop owners didn't seem to know where it was. I found the sign inconspicuously placed amongst a bunch of others purely by chance.

What a place to go on a saturday night. The darling harbour fireworks are the centrepiece to a good night here. Having dinner around is a great idea if you want to add some ambience to your night. Most restaurants have good views of the harbour. I encourage you to head down here on a Saturday.

Good place to socialise. A number of restaurants and bars around. Not too mention the Kids friendly places like the aquarium and the Reserve in front of IEC. With the ongoing construction around the place it might be a bit difficult to navigate around if you are trying to walk around. So look for more than one key landmarks if you are trying to meet someone here. Also lookout for the walkways as there are a number of closures of walkways. This is temporary anyways and hopefully I will update this review sooner than later. :)

Also recommend making your way in to Lindt for a hot chocolate after dinner as a treat. There are generally Saturday night fireworks displayed on the harbour.
