We came here for a quick snack before heading to the NYE celebration. We were pleasantly surprised by the massive selection of tab beer that they had! We ordered the Falafel wrap & the chicken wings. Good portion size, and perfectly cooked. Excellent service as well.

Rather surprised by the reviews tbh... Was open, plenty of seating inside during peak, staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were recommended what to have and were not disappointed! Menu didn't match what was posted online but heck! Fish tacos were amazing and the beer selection decent too.

As a Sydney experience expert from 24 hours in Sydney we often recommend to our guests dining options in the circular quay district. On Monday night my wife and I dined and had wonderful meals coupled with attentive and friendly service. The location is so historic in many ways and as a guide I know all the nooks and crannies to the park and beyond. My wife was impressed with the lobster roll and lamb tomahawks were just perfect, so tasty and tender. Coming back and recommending to our guests. Simon, senior guide.

Customs house bar located behind the Marriott hotel on bridge and Loftus streets. HUGE beer selection. Has tons of open outdoor patio seating. Good food and open late for those die hard fans.

Good Pub adjacent to the Marriot Hotel. Within walking distance of both Circular Quay and Wynyard. Excellent selection of Craft Beers and Cocktails. Nice range of food available. Popular with local workers and visitors.

Not the best place to eat. Maybe come here only for drinks. We waited a long time before we were able to order because it was a busy night at the bar, although there wasn't that much people inside. The tables were not clean, we had to switch tables a couple of times to find the cleanest one. Unfortunately our table had incomplete dining utensils. The waitress quickly provided when we requested. The food was okay. We ordered chips, ribs and fried chicken. Overall, it satisfied our hunger but nothing special. The sauce that came with the chips was good though.

Stopped in for late lunch Friday afternoon after a meeting and the place had a great atmosphere and was busy with the long lunch crowed and early weekend crowd but there were still tables available. Fast service at the bar and a great selection of food. Our table ordered a burger and avo bruschetta. Food was at the table in no time at all and tasted way better than your average pub food. Oh and a great selection of beer as well

Revisited this place and the food has gone up a notch. Excellent dishes with attentive service. i haven't received such good service from a pub for quite a while. The place was packed and for good reason. From the moment we shown our seats to the young guy taking orders and doing the rounds to see if anyone needed anything. You know that people are well trained if they are constantly busy and running round constantly (in a controlled manner) Original Review : Great service. Food is okay.

Price: They charge an additional 10% fee if you spend over $500. Seems odd to be charged more when you give them more business. They weren’t transparent or upfront about it either and only told me after I questioned the receipt. Drinks: The bar had a wide selection of beers on tap but was out of three types of beers we wanted. Food: The food was excellent.

Had the lamb skewers ($22) today which were great. Lamb was very tender and great flavour too. Some friends had the chicken skewers and steak sandwich which were pretty good too. Gets busy in the afternoon but pretty reasonable at lunch.

The staff at custom house bar are friendly. The food is reasonable and so are the drinks. Being close to Circular Quay it seems really crowded during Friday nights and Saturday nights but the atmosphere is really cool. We regularly go for after work drinks and catch-up with friends.

You need to be in the mood for Customs House Bar. It's very much a "suits" hangout but the range of beers on tap is impressive and the food doesn't disappoint (for pub grub). It's a good stop on the way home (ferry, train or bus at Circular Quay) and it's a nice place to meet some folks before heading off somewhere. You wouldn't want to stay here all night though but everyone will get in if you have a big group so it has its advantages. Pints for beers as well so you can't complain about that!

Let me start by saying Customs House Bar is not inside Customs House! Having been to Cafe Sydney which is in Customs House I thought I would be going to a similar venue. Customs House Bar is a short walk from Customs House but it doesn't have the benefit of being in a beautiful historic building. The inside of the bar is quite clinical and has no character so I would suggest sitting outside. We ordered burgers but they were average. They came with a brioche bun but it didn't mix well with the flavours. The chips were nice and prices are reasonable.
