One of the best steakhouses in Sydney. We enjoyed our first experience at the “Element Bar and Grill” and will definitely go back a lot. The food was really good and cooked to perfection! In addition, I have to mention that the gentleman who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant, was also very helpful welcoming, and for sure one of the reasons that we enjoyed our time here. Checked out this place last night with 7 other guests...and by the end of the experience, we were very surprised by the overall quality & ambience. The food was better than what we expected, yes it is pricey but they sure did show the value through the size of the plate. The service has got to be the best we have ever come by, we were seated on a table for 8, however it was little congested. Upon request, we asked if we could relocate to a more spacious table, and without hesitation our request was met, keep in mind the restaurant was very busy! 10/10

It is late autumn for an early dinner. Once within the vicinity of the restaurant mood is set for hearty and feel good kind of meal. Getting to Element is not difficult but I'd suggest to hail an Uber saving headache from finding parking. Also keep in mind that for disabled access, there are some steps involved getting down to the premise. That one bit hurdle aside, food is good. Service is prompt and friendly. The various specials/ offerson steak menu really invite for more future visits.

Oh my god! I came here for recently and I can’t express how much I’m obsessed with the food. My boyfriend and I are already talking about coming back for the tomahawk after trying the short ribs and steak. The bone marrow was so good and so was the sticky date pudding. We ordered way to many lemon lime bitters but it was so worth it. It’s definitely on the pricier side for a meal for 2 but you don’t mind paying it after all the food. Definitely adding this restaurant to the feast list!!

The steak just melts in your mouth. The evening started with a couple of cocktails that although tasted great, were a little sweet. We ordered the steak and ribs shared platter which comes with 4 sides of your choice. The steak was beautifully cooked and very suculant, and the ribs was soft with either a great marinade or sauce which added a lovely spicy kick at the end of each bite. The sides complemented the meat well and very well seasoned. Although a little pricier, it's well worth the money, and I would highly recommend people go (I know I will again). But make sure to book a table as it was busy the whole night (Friday). Thank you for the friendly service and delicious food.

Went for a family birthday dinner. We asked for a convenient table per booking and they definitely did justice to that. All our foods were beautiful. ESP the short ribs and the mushroom sauce! I’d recommend that - even if you don’t like steaks. Foods are a little expensive there but it’s absolutely worth it when you see their presentation and service. Mashiya and Hach were attending our table, and they made sure we are comfortable and checked up on us. They also have a beautiful collection of cocktails, watermelon breeze and the gold would be a top pick. My babies were very comfortable with the environment. Make sure to book your table beforehand as I could tell it’s a very busy restaurant and you can’t just get a table if you walk in (atleast on weekend nights)

Went to this place on Sunday with my family, was our very first time eating out as I get very worried about going places with my kids. The lady who served us was so amazing, kind and professional. The way she served us and smiled at the kids made me relax and feel calm. The gentlemen at the bar was so kind, always smiling and asking if we needed anything. The staff in general were amazing. The food was honestly the best I've had! Didn't wait long at all after ordering and when it came it smelt so good, looked great and tasted even better! It wasn't too busy when we get there (Thursday around 6pm ) We ordered a scotch fillet, sirloin steak, and steakhouse chips, portabella mushroom for the sides. Steaks came out beautifully very juicy, highly recommend to try the mushroom it was full of flavour very nice. It has been a while since I've given 2 thumbs up for a steak. Nothing to fault here. We ordered the 1.2kg Tomahawk steak shared between 3 people. The steak was cooked to perfection! Juicy, tender, loaded with flavor. A good steak doesn't need sauce, just simple flavouring of salt is enough. (We got the sauce anyway, but it didn't need it.). The steak was well rested, as all the juices where maintained within the steak when they carved, which meant each bite was full of flavour. Absolutely delicious! The service was good The house wine was good. Ambience was good Staff were friendly I would come back here again. The only thing I would mention is that they don't respond to Social Media messages, so if you have any questions or concerns, pick up the phone and give them a call.

If I lived in Sydney, I’d be eating here every Tuesday night. The Tomahawk Tuesday is such great value at $89 (doesn’t include sides or sauces) and so much fun. Was a bit of a wait but well worth it. Special mention to the sides we had and the sauces complimented the steak so well. Great vibe and dinner setting, only criticism I have and it’s a small one was the choice of music. Would’ve preferred some chilled or relaxing tunes than the doof doof that was playing.

We had our cousins 18th Birthday at the the Pyrmont Venue. Our guest count was 25 the area was set up so that everyone could see the spectacular water views and still converse with each other. We ended up sharing some superbly cooked tomahawks steaks and succulent beef ribs paired with great cocktails and wine. The staff made sure we were comfortable and the event was complete success! Would recommend this place and will definitely book more events there as they can cater to any size and menu is suitable for everyone! Thanks to the team at Elements for making the day epic!

Since March 2020, as a Registered nurse, I worked in the Quarantine Hotels. In fact, I have been to 23 hotels. All hotels have food providers but out of all the 23 I have been, only ONE STOOD OUT from the rest. I was at the Liv Apartments and low and behold breakfast, lunch and dinner was 10/10. I checked the top of the lid and Thank God it showed the name of the food provider. “ELEMENTS BAR and GRILL.” The name was stuck in my head. Every time I saw a fellow nurse and we talk about the best food in the hotels, ELEMENTS BAR AND GRILL is their NUMBER 1 as well. Recently, we went to the actual restaurant to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and they never ceased to please. The staff were amazing, the food is cooked to perfection and the vibe is vibrant. We will definitely come back for more. :D By the way, make a reservation in advance because groups kept coming. :D

Such an incredible experience and range of quality dishes at elements bar & grill. I loved the meats, the standout for me was the Tomahawk! You definitely would share this but what a beautiful cut of meat, hands down the best I've had in Sydney! Such beautifully tender meat that just melted in the mouth. You definitely can't go past that smoked beef burger topped with cheese and bacon, and with a bit of theatrics you'll be very impressed. There's bone marrow, squid ink pasta with pipis. Beautiful craft beers on tap and a good selection of premium wines! Definitely a little fancy and the perfect spot for a quality meal, worth every penny. Went here in a Cudo deal on the weekend. Advice: if you’ve never had dry aged beef be aware that it tastes different. Like earthy a bit like going from Bega cheese to blue vein. Ok so we ordered wings entree and the tomahawk steak and tiramisu. Wings were different not what I expected as in coated in tomato type sauce with a hint of habernero. Very moist whole chicken wing. Nice Next up the tomahawk we’ll never had a real dry aged before and I ate a big amount of fat lol so we couldn’t handle the favour just too intense for me. But amazingly they replaced with a non dry aged and it wasn’t slow cooked. Was deliciously good and the dog smashed the bone. Tirimasu was good too. Oh those whole mushrooms were so damn good as a side dish and the fat wedges yum. I’d definitely come back and get a rump steak that looks great. Service was excellent and very attentive and I loved how they cooked us another steak it was very much appreciated by us. Lovely decked out can’t wait to go back.

Love this venue. Elegant decor and great ambience throughout. The seating area is mostly outdoor and it was a beautiful day when I came so sitting outdoor was perfect. I tried several dishes on my visit and my favourite savoury dishes had to be the bone marrow and the steak. Everything was perfectly cooked without being over-seasoned so I could really taste the natural flavours. The highlight for me was the desserts. I loved their affogato, tiramisu and creme brulee. Coffee was awesome too.

We were a lunch party of three. I explained to the waitress that I and my father wanted to share one steak between the two of us whilst my son would have one for himself. The waitress understood this. Five minutes later the manager wanted to make sure we understood that we were only getting two steaks between three people. Bizarre. Did he talk to the only waitress on the floor that day? The meals took far too long to come. When they arrived , the chips were piping hot. The steak was not. We had asked for medium rare steaks. The steaks were rare. We didn’t mind eating the tepid steaks because the quality of them was superb. But why weren’t they hot and why weren’t they cooked as ordered? Why did we have to cut up one steak into two when both the manager and the waitress knew that we were going to share it? Was it too much for them to cut it themselves and serve it on separate plates? The chips were delicious. The side salad was great. The setting was lovely. When the waitress cleared our plates, she inadvertently dropped a small container of tomato sauce upside down on our table. Since it was upside down, it wasn’t going anywhere. Why did the manager then come over and clean it all up before we had left. Couldn’t he have waited two minutes until we left? It wasn’t as if the restaurant was busy and our table was needed. At best it was 60% full which suggests that our experience wasn’t unusual.

Long story short - 3/5 due to impolite manager (I think) and not honoring an advertised birthday deal, otherwise it would have been 4/5 for the food and venue. The reason I chose this place was because they advertised a birthday deal which meant that the birthday person would get their main meal for free. This was presented as a simple offer that only needed to be claimed on Facebook and a table booked... but little did I know that there was unwritten fine print (nothing in the ad or text confirmation) that stated everyone (all diners) would have to purchase an entree AND main each in order to get a free meal. I don't know about anyone else, but I pretty much never buy an entree, and if I do, I would get 1 or 2 and just share with a group. I would think that a table of 6 people, buying mains at $25-40 each, would be enough for a restaurant to provide one free meal?! I don't have an issue with deals having conditions, but when these conditions aren't clearly communicated, I don't consider it fair, and the manager wasn't polite about it when I questioned it. Aside from that, the food was well presented and my meal was delicious. I ordered the Halloumi stack and would highly recommend. Two of my co-workers ordered steak dishes (good quality meat) which they were surprised to find you have to pay extra to get any sauces with, on top of them being a pricey dish! The waitress that served us was polite and helpful. The venue was in an outdoor courtyard which had a really nice ambience.

Generally, the reviews for this restaurant are so positive and photos of the food looks amazing - I was excited to eat here! Fair to say I was disappointed. The service was great, although they did clear my partner's plate before I finished eating (serious pet peeve!) However the food was rather disappointing. We had chicken wings for starters, the meat was juicy however lacked flavour. I've definitely ate better wings in pubs. I ordered the scotch fillet for mains. Half was beautifully cooked and half so fatty, it was hard to cut nevermind eat. The chips were nothing special, like supermarket frozen chips. My partner ordered the t-bone steak, which was very thin. Other plates went out past us did look good so maybe we will try again in hope that we were unlucky with the cuts of meat we had. Maybe not

Hands down the best steak we've had and we have been searching for a good place for far too long. The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in to the very end. He was friendly, always had a smile and easy conversation. The meat itself melts in the mouth and we could taste the difference with the ageing and quality, the sides to go with it was so enjoyable. I dined there with a group of 20 on a Friday night for my birthday. The staff were incredibly flexible in allowing us to order a la carte and even allowed us to submit our orders the day before. On the night itself the staff were very welcoming and attentive, going as far to provide a new burger and a complimentary glass of wine to one of my friends when their order had been mixed up. The food was of the highest quality and well-worth waiting slightly longer than usual for. I was particularly blown away by the presentation of the burgers, being served inside a glass dome with smoke inside that just wisped away when the dome was removed. Very Instagram-worthy! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine at a steakhouse that is more of an experience than a simple dine-in.

Food was great, service needs to improve. I was extremely unimpressed with the staff considering the prices we were paying. Seemed like we had 3-4 waiters attending our table, asking the same questions, hovering, pouring water in the glasses literally just after somebody already did. One particular waiter placed a serving of hot chips on the table and some of them fell out of the basket, he proceeded to pick them up with his hands and place them back in the basket. Maybe a bit fussy but I thought that was a bit gross, especially in today's climate. Ordered two cocktails, only one came and the waiter said "I'll be back with the other". The 2nd drink didn't come so when we asked about it they went to the bar and then came back and said the bar staff forgot it which I thought was weird considering she originally said she'd be back with the other. Finally got it 20 mins after following up. I must say, it was awesome though! Not great at clearing the table either which was really small considering the size of their serving plates. Everytime they came with a new dish they were not able to put it down as they hadn't cleared the previous. We had to clear the space and stack the empty dishes for them to take away each time. Confusion as to whether we keep our side plates for the next dish etc... They just seemed like they didn't have a process in place and a bit all over the shop. Understand these are only minor issues but when you're paying $400-500 for dinner between 3 you expect a level of service too. We enjoyed the food, bone marrow was really good as was the steak platter and sides. Cocktails were unreal!

Visited last night after getting sucked in by a meat platter deal promoted via their sharp video advertising. In short, they absolutely delivered. Great value ($129 for two, excluding drinks) and the service was flawless. They couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. As some constructive feedback, they had made the decision to exclude icecream from their sticky toffee pudding dessert on the revised menu. But in my opinion, more people would expect it to come with such a classic (as opposed to whipped cream) - very minor observation of course. All in all brilliant though, will certainly return :)

They have a handful of craft beers on tap as well as an amazing and extensive wine menu. Service was excellent and I was just blown away by the attention to detail with meat preparation. You can even order a 2.4kg cut of meat, but it has to be ordered a day in advance as it need that much time to prepare. Amazing! But, there is tripping hazard between the patio and the bar that gets everyone. WATCH OUT! Should be looked into in my opinion, it will only end up leaving to trouble I'm sure.

The servers were polite, friendly and professional. They did their best in entertaining guests and ensuring our time there was a good one. However, it took two hours for the food to come (we ordered 2 steaks, 2 pasta and 1 salad). At least two other tables were waiting too long for their food too, with one of them opting to leave. The table in front of ours had all three courses of their meals served before a single dish was served to us, despite ordering before them. The food service did not seem consistent in this way. It was also disappointing to wait 2 hours before being served cold chips, which thankfully the staff rectified immediately when notified. They did offer us complimentary wine for our wait, which is quite pleasant. All in all found the food to be mediocre, but the gnocchi was great. Probably will not return in the near foreseeable future.

This place is an absolute gem! Had my birthday lunch here today and ordered the 1Kg Scotch Fillet Platter medium rare. It was delicious and by far the juiciest, most tender steak I have ever had. The plan was to have it cooked sous vide (which requires a deposit as they cook it ahead) I wasn't able to put the deposit through but when we got to the restaurant, they had done it anyway! Magnificent service. Shout out to our fantastic server Biin, who also organized a hot stone for us as someone in our small group preferred their steak more cooked. Had dinner here with some friends and could tell straight away it was going to be a winner. The atmosphere was exciting and wreaking of tasty foods. The menu was as it should be; focused and not overreaching, simple and unpretentious. The prices are high(ish), but not that high considering how good the food was, they also compensate that with some really generous deals (including an all you can eat sirloins and sides, we had 3 steaks and all 3 cooked beautifully to perfection as were the sides). Great quality ingredients, exceptional cooking and wonderfully entertaining and professional staff. Loved it.

Fantastic food and even better service. Starter was generously portioned. Steak probably the best I have had in Sydney. My wife’s burger was great and came with a little theatre too! Only minor thing to note is toilets are up a flight of stairs. Service was excellent. The best thing I like about this restaurant is you can go the ‘cheap’ option and gets burger and fries for under $20, or you can have a proper 3 course dinner (we did both!).

Paradise for meat lovers. Extensive menu with a good range of steaks from 300g to 1kg. Pricey with average meals costing around $45-70 per person without drinks. Difficult to find value: only three (3) 'chips' were served with each order and a side order of grilled asparagus was miserable with only 4 served. I requested for my steak to be cooked medium rare but got it medium well. My partner asked for medium and it came medium rare. The rib eye on the bone was smaller than promised and we waited 40 minutes when we were the only patrons at that time.

We went at the beginning of August 2018. A group of 8 people using a Groupon. The burgers were tasty and a good selection of beers. We were disappointed because we were seated on a tall table too small for all of us and the food/beers, while larger tables were vacant but we weren't allowed to sit there because another group was coming in 2 hours time. They had newly opened and the service was a bit confusing, with different people telling us different this. The restaurant is large and can seat big groups. Hopefully they will improve this little things, the potential is good.

Personally, the highlight of my meal was when I creamed my pants over the rare scotch fillet served over a sizzling hot stone. The only slight improvement I’d make next time I visit (I will inevitably order the exact same thing) I’d remove the steak from the stone half way through eating it to prevent the beautifully seasoned cut from getting too cooked. My bubby swapped the steak cut chips to the mash, which he later regretted simply due to the chunky texture and said it lacked moisture. Signature roasted bone marrow topped with grilled oyster mushroom and caramelised onion on sourdough bread. The flavour of this dish was unreal! Featuring the Charcoal smoked Wagyu beef patty burger with an extra piece of juicy mouth watering steak slided in between the buns thanks to @foodcoma innovative add on. It does look like a proper delicious burger !
