Had a fabulous dinner here with my husband. I was delighted to have my gluten intolerance catered for. Every bite of each dish was truly delicious. It was honestly some of the tastiest pasta I had ever had. The atmosphere was very chill and intimate. The perfect dinner date location. I recommend you book ahead as there are only a limited number of small tables.

I pride myself on my palate for pasta and am glad to have found this tucked away on King Street. Exceptional Italian fare, limited menu but traditional dishes cooked impeccably. Try the mushroom arancini and the Bolognese. Negroni was also tops!

Came here for dinner and was not disappointed! Loved the pasta and wine and was so good I came back the week after.
Recommend that you book a table for dinner as the venue is small and there is only a limited number of tables.

What a great experience. The food is phenomenal, with a wide selection of cheeses cured meals and hams. The staff were attentive and practiced and spot on with suggestions.
The menu whilst small and unassuming was a delight and I can't wait to come back and discover what I missed. Must have is the bread, with anchovies or sardines to start.

Fabulous! A beautiful store reminiscent of food halls such as Fortnum & Mason or Le Bon Marche, whether you come in for the food or to grab some ingredients you leave feeling positive and excited to get into the kitchen (or bust out the wine glasses!).
Their housemade bread gets turned into robust lunch sandwiches and if you take home one of their pasta kits you're guaranteed one of the best dinners in a while. Even someone who is awful at cooking can produce mouth watering food with their 5 minute kits, take it from my partner!

One of the best Italian restaurant in the city. The pastas here are exquisite and delectable. Even if you live far, you can order delivery, their packaging style is one of a kind.

We went to Fabbrica on a Saturday afternoon and honestly loved everything we got. Great place to go to pick up some baked goods for a picnic
The focaccia was crisp and salty, the lemon bombolone was delicious. We ate the sausage roll cold and it was still very good.
Would definitely return for their weekday Italian sandwiches

Absolutely stunning sandwiches. The deli sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten a lot of sangas.
The bread is mind blowing, with the perfect balance of chew, softness, crust and flavour.
The meats are super high quality and the salad fresh.
It’s a case of quality over quantity, but the portion is perfect for a lunch and definitely not lacking, it’s simply just the right size and not needlessly big and messy.
The pickles are the best pickles I’ve ever eaten too.
Now I just need an excuse to come to the city more often to eat here more frequently.

Favourite spot in the CBD for foccacia and a sandwich. Pasta is also full of flavour and drinks list is great. Check out the shelves for some treat worthy jars and bottles of wine.

New pasta and panini place in the heart of the city. Friendly staff and beautiful decor with lots of delicious foods and wine on offer for a quick lunch or for takeaway. Only open from midday but make sure to get there early or you will miss out on a seat. The panini are delicious but feel a tad overpriced for the size at $20 hence the 4 star rating overall.

Cool little pasta and small goods store! Tried the pork sandwich today which was delish. Will be coming back to pick up some pasta for dinner!

Can I eat here every night? The food is spectacular in an original setting. Love the Sydney service - warm but professional
F.
Ridiculously delicious. No other words.

Well, I just paid $20 for a chicken sandwich and they charged me a 32c card surcharge.
The food is nice but definitely not worth the price.

OMG.
The best wine selection..made in Italy
Bravo

Ultimately disappointing for the price. We went for dinner on a quiet Tuesday night, had two pastas and a bottle of wine to share, bill came to $120.00. They charge a $20.00 corkage on top of the wine purchased from them. Our two pastas came one after another instead of together, meaning we watched each other eat. Pasta was nice but for the cost it was not really so nice or so great that I would return.

Very nice sandwiches, pasta and focaccia. Highly recommended.

All things pasta-fancy and more in this place. I'd never paid ten bucks for a loaf of sourdough before until I shopped here, but it is an excellent creation made on the premises. Working my way through the quality offerings of Fabbrica.

Pasta was delicious and service was fast. They’re well known for their daily bakes and I was served a lasagne. It was an appropriate serving size with a generous amount of meat inside. The herb salad topper freshened the whole dish and complimented the flavours wonderfully.

Favourite place right now, neat little store with fantastic baked pastas and sandwiches. Amazing flavours for a great price, the attention to detail and quality of food is impressive.
The store also sells fresh pastas and produces, sauces, wine, bread.
Limited seating as people mainly get it to go for lunch.

Amazing. We had the cannoli ... It was Soo delicious. The mortadella sandwich also the best. Will definitely come back. Coffee is filter but still really nice. ☺️

Awesome new store - fresh pasta to cook at home, bread, focaccia etc 🇮🇹 🍝 🥖
E. G.
Amazing sandwich but did not understand why they only had 2 things on the food menu? What restaurant or shop only has 2 items of food??? Dry odd. However, the mortadella sandwich was amazing - though it should be for an eye watering $18!

Fabbrica is such a little gem in the CBD, starting with the small but special lunch menu, right through to the great selection of cool wines on offer (something the city was definitely missing). I enjoyed a prosciutto and goat cheese baguette (with an unholy amount of butter) and glass of wine for lunch. A great casual offering for a workday, at decent prices considering the quality.
Where this place really hits the nail on the head is its deli section–a cheese cabinet, a meat fridge filled with all sorts of salumi, dry goods, fresh produce, and of course all of that pasta. On my visits, the staff have been super helpful and knowledgeable, and helped me pick out wine and a few bits and pieces to go with the fresh pasta. The space itself is beautiful, and I’ll definitely make a habit of dropping in weekly!

The wine was "picado" but the food was ABSOLUTELY DELOCIOUS

Being a big fan of Ragazzi, I visited Fabbrica days within its opening.
Store - Located in a semi-basement/sunken courtyard with bright lighting, next to Acne Studios. This is mainly a retail space that sells pasta, wine and some ingredients, it still has a small dining space with high stools. Clean and minimum interior design with some funky light fixtures.
Food - They usually offer two kinds of sandwiches and one baked pasta. The time we came in was around 1:30pm and there were only one kind of sandwich left and few portions of pasta. Baked pasta $20 sandwich $16. The sandwich is pretty impressive (usually a cured meat with simple greens or pickles on ciabatta). But the lasagna today could be better, the pasta itself was nicely done but the there was hardly any layers to the flavouring of the meat and veggies(probably even saltier then the ragu)
Retail- Take home and cook pasta, fantastic wine selections. Great for those who pursues qualities and willing to invest a bit of time.
Overall - The main reason I gave a three star to this place for now (this rating might change since it just opened and the experience will likely subject to its ongoing adjustment) - there’s so much going on. It is a retail space, yet it also serves hot food, but the menu is extremely limited and it might let you down if you expect it to be more like a restaurant, you can also have a quick drink here. On the bright side you have so many choices and possibilities with this space, but it might also be challenging to balance the experience you get from all the different services provided are equally nice.
It’s a very interesting store. Will definitely stay tuned.

How good’s Fabbrica?
It’s hard to describe the pasta shop / deli / sambo joint / bar / wine shop because it’s doing something new, particularly for Sydney.
Great for a fast lunch. Better if you have time to browse and buy pasta and cheese and capers and all the rest.
Go check it out.

We bought some linguine and 2 cannolis from here. We made a mushroom noodle recipe by Carluccio. It was fabulous! The cannolis were just fantastic too! Good service too!

What a great addition to the CBD. I think it will really hit its straps over summer and will be a nice informal spot for terrace drinks before or after a show at the Theatre Royal (when it reopens in 2021). For now, some knockout pastas for lunch!

Try the lasagne, it was so delicious! The service is awesome
M.
Tucked away below street level gem with bread and pasta made on site and small range of limited run daily panini to grab and go or sit at a few tables. ‘Expresso only’ coffee option. Fabbrica is not a cafe. Took home fresh pasta and beef cheek red wine ragu....amazing....and ready in 7 minutes!
白.
I went there on Tuesday and had a chicken sandwich and eggplant parmigiana. They really use quality ingredients, and both of dishes were really good. I will go back soon.
A.
Amazing flavours and freshly made on the spot!

quick, delicious lunch spot in the city

Absolutely delicious food. Very cool little underground nook!

Take away pastas and sauces are fantastic.
Great selection of italian varietal wines also.
J.
Very good sandwich, a star off for the fact it should be cheaper ($18) or bigger and another star off as the bearded server with the glasses and baseball cap is pretty arrogant
E. V.
Fabbrica is good, but prices are way too high for what you’re getting. More variety and reasonable prices would make it a 5 stars.
a. h.
Small selection and excellent quality. Loved the focaccia and the apricot galette
H. D.
Great little place in CBD always something special for your pantry and great drinks and snacks as well
E. T.
Amazing chocolate donut. The black coffee was good too.
J. R.
Lovely customer service. Like an old school deal where the owner was proud to talk to you about their produce.
D. J.
Very good. The lasagne is excellent. Highly recommend.
