Good place in the city for a quick bite and or for a drink with some light snacks 😋 options. Some staff members were nice and friendly but a particular staff member was not very nice nor helpful, she also got disappointed at the end when we didn't offer any tips while we were paying the bills for the food items. In Sydney/Australia we don't really have a strong practice of paying tips therefore we didn't offered it.

The black Russians here are formidable. The service is very friendly. Nice place to sit at the bar and drink a cocktail. Nice to feel the city coming back to life after COVID version 2.0. Nice to be out after 4 months inside. Working to spend the next 10 years healing the anxiety you've felt when visiting a bar? Hotel CBD is a good place to start.

Overall nice little pub in the city with nice drinks and a comfy atmosphere doesn't feel old and dirty like some pubs do. Front of house is kinda changing, depending on the hour of the day they can be either very friendly or rude, but generally okay. Food is okay too, steak was nicely cooked for a pub, wings and cocktails were done nicely too.

Popped in for a drink and a late lunch after stopping in to several other local pubs only to find they were not serving food. At this establishment I was able to get a pretty decent G and T and some Mac n Cheese. Both were very tasty. It is a Monday afternoon, however I found the atmosphere very relaxed.

We came here for happy hour and it was CHEAP. 3 vodka drinks were 13 usd. Good atmosphere. Good music and it was busy, but not too crowded. Found a seat at the bar and no one seemed to wait to long for drinks. Would definitely recommend for happy hour from from 5-7.

I have only been to the ground floor of this place and like the ambience. There's quite a variety of drinks to choose from the cocktail bar and they did deliver in terms of quality and service. It was quiet on Saturday evening, but seems much more crowded on weekdays after office hour. Once I was there and they were showing women playing sports in skimpy outfit on the widescreens, which we thought was distasteful and ruined the otherwise classy feel of the place. I don't dislike the place, but wouldn't go back again any time soon because it's not my kind of place more than anything.

A great venue to watch sport, especially US ones. On level 2, the sports bar has booths that can be reserved with your own private TV. The atmosphere when finals are on is amazing and you won't find much space on that level, however there are plenty of other levels to check out. The food is pretty decent and not too pricey for the quantity. Drinks are the usual city prices, but they do serve jugs

Serves excellent food (had the chicken parmigiana) and is very conveniently located just 2 minutes walk from Wynyard station. Tends to almost always be a spare seat and table (even on a Sat night) and two large TVs makes for a great time watching sport with a small group of friends.

Love this place. They looked after us when we were in town and they hadn't quite opened but we had no where to go with our luggage waiting for our flight later that night. Went to the Hotel CBD for a product launch event which was held on level 3. The location is great as it is central and quite easy to get to. Getting to level 3 was a little tricky, there's an elevator, stairs and fire stairs. The fire stairs and elevator will get you there, but not the stairs. Once we got there, the decor of the place was quite nice, there were finger food provided at the event which wasn't too bad.

It can get a bit crowded but it is definitely worth the experience. One night I went upstairs and discovered the wonderful restaurant. I had one of the best steaks I have had in Sydney.

Another well run venue from Sydneys Merivale group as run by Justin Hemmes. These guys can do hospitality and well. Went here for a 'business' pub lunch to chew the fat over a cupla coldies and a burgeasy. Had the Wagyu beef burg. + food came pretty quickly, we sat up in front of the kitchen on level 3 (bottom bar was packed at lunch trade) + helpful guys and gals working the bar & running the floor + great selection of beers on tap. Australian, premium local and imported and a cupla crafties + placed order and given table number (yes! love it when they bring the food to you) + well known executive Chef Jeremy Strode. - would have preferred to sit downstairs but alas busyness is business - lotsa flights o stairs to get to level 3 - level 3 quite empty, little atmosphere Overall a professional offering with only minor qualms 4.25*
