We were a table of 4 adults and 2 children for lunch. The food was delicious. It can be hard to get wood fired pizza with bases that are not soggy. The starters, pizza and pasta were great. The kids (both) 12 months old had pasta and pizza from the kids menu and they loved it. We will definitely be coming back.

Popular local Italian casual dinning. Came here on a Monday night and it was buzzing with lots of customers amd we had to wait 10 minutes for a table for 3. We ordered the golden calamari, spaghetti marinara, lamb shoulder and kids spaghetti Bolognese. All very delicious and quite well priced. We also tried the popular tiramisu, the serving was generous but the sponge fingers were a tad dry. A nice added bonus is the self service bottles of water, plain or sparkling.

Despite the various changes that others have commented on ISK still have the best pizzas anywhere! Prices did jump but from a very low base. A few years ago most pizzas here were only about $15 which was ridiculously low. Now they're a little over $20 which is still very reasonable and about what I was paying 10-15 years ago in other pizza restaurants in the area.

Forget the $15 pizza's in old reviews, they're now $25 minimum. Online menu is out of date. Food was good but expensive compared to other Italians we frequent. Best thing going for it is BYO. If not byo we wouldn't be going again.

Last time we came here it was some of the best Italian food we had had in a long time. This time we were disappointed. The pasta wasn't great. The carbonara was a bit gluggy and wasn't very tasty and the bolognaise was kind of what I would expect at a pub or something. Not disgusting, but certainly not what I was expecting for around $30... On the other hand, the cheese bread we had for the entree was delicious and the pizzas on the table next to us looked good! I think next time, we'll stick to pizza here.

Came here on a whim with some friends and was not disappointed! Lovely food, great service, and a wonderful vibe overall. We ordered the rigatoni pomodoro, the ravioli, arancini, and the gnocchetti for mains, and the tirimasu and chocolate cake for dessert. All food had amazing flavour and was well-cooked. Would definitely recommend coming here with a group of friends and would definitely go again!

This place is never on time for online takeaway order pickups on any day and evidently the owners don’t listen to customer feedback. They have traditional pizzas with Italian customer floor service, menu options are great though I would like to see a larger variety of pizzas in the menu and extend the home delivery instead of delieroos boundary, need some other delivery competition to increase your business income. Restaurant is always packed Friday’s and Saturday’s & order pickup is never ready after the time they’ve provided YOU and just make you wait. Expand the delivery map like local competitor Crust & Dominoes do, concerntrate on providing quick takeaway service and you’ll get my five stars. If you sit in the restaurant, the experience is fantastic.

Really good pizza Roman style which is low and crisp. Loved all appetizers: arancini mushroom and truffle, truffle chips and polenta chips. However, the homemade tiramisù is awesome. Not much wine selection as you would expect from an Italian street place as marketed but the red house wine is good. Overall, loved it!

Excellent service, lovely fresh food & very friendly staff - considering we turned up just prior to kitchen close. The tiny piece of chicken passed to our pooch was so good he hid it rather than let anyone else have it!! (4 out of 4 paws rating!) So I have been going around Sydney trying to figure out who has the best pizza in town. As they say, if you haven't got your basics covered you should not be in this business. So I've been tasting simple Margherita pizzas everywhere. ISK tops all others so far. The thin crust is to die for, cheese and sauce are well balanced, plenty of basil, though I always want more :). Not bad for a $15 pizza. We also ordered seafood pasta with salad, both were excellent. Got to love the friendly, unpretentious, down to earth atmosphere here too. I hope they open one soon south of the bridge! P.S. the two runner-ups are Da Mario and Al Taglio

This restaurant is lovely. Located in a quiet street, they have a nice small environment that can get crowded easily. The food however is completely amazing; I tried the Nutella calzone only, which has a fair price but a very good taste! Don't forget to order a mocha as well to complete your afternoon experience.

Stumbled upon this joint after searching for pizza on Australia day, the Diavola pizza is definitely worth coming all this way for, the cheese is delightfully stringy, the crust is wonderfully crispy and surprisingly light and rich in flavour. The chips were magnificent and perfectly golden brown, crispy on the outside and the inside was soft and creamy. 💯 Would recommend!!

The food is mostly basic Italian Cuisine, with the Pasta dishes well priced. It is a wonderful Restaurant to meet with Business associates and family members, for a noteworthy meal. I went for dinner with some friends yesterday, we didn’t have a booking and the restaurant looked pretty busy but they managed to find a table for us outside. Good vibe, reasonably priced and great service. Vegetation options on the menu were limited so we asked if they could try and make pesto gnocchi not on the menu. Regin (head waitress) and head chef Philip went out of their way to create a delicious pesto pasta dish. They were very accommodative of our request and made all effort to look after us and satisfy our tummies. This will definitely be our regular joint from now on and hope they add more vegetarian options. Not to forget pizza crust was on point and toppings delicious!

Italian Street Kitchen — my favourite place to eat in Neutral Bay — it’s great, every time. I’ve eaten pizza across the world — London, Rome, New York, Sydney Barcelona, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc, etc — and this place in Neutral Bay has to be the best and closest to the original pizza taste I’ve experienced. Don’t listen to people who say you can’t devour a whole pizza on your own — at ISK you can, easily. The pasta, roasts and other authentic Italian dishes, are as good as you’ll get in any restaurant in Italy too, and the calamari they serve always tastes as delicious, crisp and fresh as you’re ever likely to get. But it’s not just the food that takes my tummy back to Italy — it’s the service and the gorgeous waitresses that make it such a great place. I love it — IT’S AMORE…!!

Yes please. Really enjoyed the seafood pasta. Found them to be very flexible and friendly.We were kind of the demanding family on the evening. "Can we have extra garlic please?" Bang - most garlic I've ever had in a meal. Fresh, wonderful sliced cloves - just nailed it. Half way through I decided I'd prefer a tomato based sauce on my seafood plate, so I asked if I could have a different sauce - all requests were fulfilled, even gave me some meatballs. Great service. Nothing a problem. Really enjoyed the meal. We all did. Would go again for sure!

Food was good. I had meatball pasta n wife had lasagne. Both lacked flavour somewhat n could've definitely done with more salt n pepper. We also had marinated olives (best I've ever had!) N polenta chips which were very delish. Service was very cold n lady who served was very chudie, in fact I was hoping to ask for additional parmigiana but decided not to as she was very unfriendly. Overall I would go back one more time to try another dish or two before I make up my mind, but room 4 improvement.

It's fine. Feels like it wants to be a franchise. Food is straightforward Italian, no surprises. They insist on you cutting your pizza with scissors for some reason. Best things are that there is free sparkling water, they are open for early dinner, and they are very kid-friendly (high chairs, no issue when there's a mess).

What a great new find. A fantastic night out. A warm and friendly welcome and after scanning in using the QR code we were quickly seated. My husband and I shared a garlic and cheese wood fired pizza – the perfect start to the night. I then had a diavola pizza (tomato, mozzarella, Calabrese spicy salami, Spanish onion, mushrooms & basil) which was an authentic Italian pizza – delicious. My husband had the slow roasted roman porchetta (rolled pork belly with crispy crackling and mushroom sauce) – a generous portion and cooked to perfection – he loved it. And a green salad was a good accompaniment for the table. Ordering is smart – at the counter which means when you are done, your done (already paid and ready to go). We love trying new restaurants and with thanks to the Entertainment Book we can safely do so. Brilliant that we will now add the Italian Street Kitchen to our “regular” list – it’s fantastic with fresh flavours and great food. Manager Peter suggested the tiramisu – next time – will leave a little room. Peter was an excellent host ! Thanks, we’ll be back. BYO too.

Good place to go for quick, tasty and casual Italian feast. Very reasonable pricing, although prices have been slowly creeping up since they opened. They don't take bookings and we often have to wait for a table. My advice to the front of the house would be to write people's names when they arrive - this would avoid the chaos and confusion when it gets busy on the weekends. The person controlling the the table allocation is also busy at the till and taking phone calls. Regardless the food is always amazing.

Lovely staff & decently priced Italian but the seafood pizza was a bit of a let down. The pizza had WAY to much sauce which overpowered the dish & made it very oily. That aside - & most disappointing was that the only seafood was a few chunks of salmon and a couple of bits of baby octopus. Bit of a let down for my first Mother's Day lunch! The pasta the tables around us ordered looked a lot better so if we return we will give them a go next time.

Since moving locally this has become one of my favourite places to go for dinner! The buffalo mozzarella pizza is exactly like it is in Italy, the pizza is simple but each ingredient is prepared so beautifully, it makes me want to go back! (The tomato sauce base on the pizzas is truly incredible). If the buffalo mozzarella pizza sounds too simple for you (trust me - the taste will explode in your mouth), the pepperoni pizza is delicious too, pepperoni perfectly crispy and perfectly spicy. I've also tried the gnocchi which reminded me of my grandma's cooking and tastes delicious - again, simple but taste is to die for. The Nutella pizza for dessert will melt your heart if you have a sweet tooth. I always leave here having eaten too much but my wallet never suffers, prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food you're getting. For those complaining about having to order at the counter - get off your high horse, this is a street kitchen and it will take only one minute out of your day to go and order. OBSESSED with free sparking or still water available to you off a tap, its incredible. Honestly, if you're local, give this place a try!

A family favourite and staple! ISK Neutral Bay is highly consistent, well priced and offers authentic and delicious food options for the whole family. Staff and management are exceptional, and nothing is a problem. We have enjoyed small and very large group gatherings, up to 20people, and regardless of the group size, the service and food remains at a high standard. Parking is abundant, opening hours very accommodating and the restaurants layout is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating options. Just got unlucky with a takeaway pizza. Busy day, as I arrived earlier than the order was ready and person at the till forgot to told me the pizza was ready, it was cold when I got home. Great restaurant with excellent food at quite reasonable prices. Very difficult place to go as a large group as they are always busy and don't take bookings so keep this in mind. They are also BYO which is a nice touch. The only real issues I've had have been with pickup orders. What a happy discovery - the restaurant is staffed by people of all nations but there Is a real Italian in the kitchen. Pizzas are authentic Roman style, the Arancini balls crisp on the outside, the salads bold and generous. The best part? NO BYO charge AND you fill your own bottle with sparkling mineral water.. New menu on 8 April 2019 - we will be back!

The service here was ordinary as our mains and entrees were all brought out together and to top it off our table wasn't even big enough to hold that amount of food, then the lady told my friend that is how he wanted it, which was bullshit as I was standing with him when we ordered from the bistro counter. First visit. Take away on a Monday afternoon with very few eat in diners yet waited quite a while for a small order. A kids pasta was well covered with flavoursome sauce. The pizza was tasty but the dough was very soggy in the centre so it was not possible to pick up the pieces without them flopping. We had to roll them up like wraps; spoilt the effect somewhat. Also the filling, what little there was, were unevenly distributed so more chillies on some and none on others. The large pizza was cut into six pieces; too large to handle. More attention to these details would have earned another star.

I have been here previously, a few times, but was disappointed tonight to see that that lamb dish has drastically changed. From what was a large hunk of moist lamb is now a somewhat flattened, much drier piece of meat, that looks like a tuna steak. Some of the flavour was still evident, but this meat was way too dry. Absolutely addicted to the ISK since it opened in Neutral Bay. The food is incredible quality and tastes like authentic, simple southern Italian-style street-food, not that westernised thick-crusted over-the-top Italian that's so common in Australia. My picks are the baked Gnocchi, the Garlic & Herb Focaccia, caprese salad and the Buffalo margherita. Incredible atmosphere down there on a summer's evening also!

We are locals and eat out every Friday night. We finally got to the ISK last night and totally loved the space, the energy and the concept. Wonderful, enthusiastic staff. All fantastic. However, we had the lamb and the pork and although both were really tasty - and the crackling was great - both dishes were dry and cooked too fast (i.e.: meat was way too firm). Slow cooking the whole shoulder (unrolled) and fast/slow cooking the whole belly (unrolled) and a side sauce of rosemary/rwv for the lamb and apple/sage/lemon for the pork, would render these dishes as absolute must return to have NOW meals. Instead, as carb carefuls, we'll have to avoid these and tap dance our way through the fabulous looking antipasto menu. Lastly, I tried to send this to the venue by their contact page but it kept freezing. Too long, I guess. This place, with these dishes improved, or without them altogether, would be an incredible find. 9/10 for everything but these two dishes. Sorry
