The bar is very nice and spread out with plenty of seating options for indoor and outdoor seating. They have a well balanced menu with quick service for food and drinks. The prices are also good for the portions and overall it a good place for lunch and dinner.

We ordered the vegetarian margharita pizza, halloumi chips and fettuccine primavera. The portions were decent and food was fresh. This one is a nice family friendly place open for late lunch.

Fabulous environment with affordable price. I give 4 start for the food taste. I was expecting more with the food. Otherwise, good place for drinks and food. If you are staying at crowne plaza I prefer this place rather than wasting your money on uber.

We went with a group of 12 and enjoyed the beers, wines and food. All the food items were delicious with good quality. However instead of making a veggie nachos I was given beef nachos which for me is a blunder but mistakes happen. Out overall experience was great and we would love to visit again.

Great food and friendly staff. Nice selection of beer, wish there was more. Cocktails are okay but not their expertise. There is live music on some nights. Lovely for family, mates holidays and for kids.

Food portion is small but tastes super nice. Price is expensive for the size of food. For example, my husband ordered a salmon salad and he only got a tiny piece of a salmon (same size as a kid's 👊) and a little bit salad for $18. I ordered a beef pasta for $28 which is the same size as a kids meal in a normal restaurant.

This place had food that tastes extremely good. I was highly satisfied with the flavour of the chips served here and the lamb signature dish is a must try. Whilst prices are in the high side, they are absolutely reasonable given the portions.

We visited Lovedale Bar & Grill as patrons who weren't staying in the hotel - but once we found the bar & grill on the lower floor of the reception building I'm very glad we came! The staff were friendly and very helpful (particularly when we had an armful of plates) - I really enjoyed the cocktails, and the food was such a refreshing change from pub food. I had a salmon udon soup, something I wouldn't expect to find at a grill. The people who designed the kids menu know kids - my fussy 1yr old loved the plain pasta with butter and she scarfed down the chocolate icecream. Also, kudos to whoever thought to put the arcade next to the grill, we got to finish dessert before the toddler boredom made us leave! I wish we'd come here sooner during our stay in the hunter! If I'm in the area again I'll be back for sure.

Very tasty lunch. Nice selection of pub-style meals. We shared a paddle, which was perfect. I ordered a Caesar salad, which was topped with a generous serving of smoked salmon. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff.

Good space to grab a beer and watch the footy. Not a huge range of craft beers considering it’s the cellar door for Sydney Brewery. Would love to see a whole bunch more! The Hylander Session IPA was easily the best beer on tap. Other recommendation would be the Paddo Pale. The East Coast IPA and the Black IPA are also quite good, although neither were available. Can not comment on the food as we only had beers.

Looking for a more casual menu, then this is the place for you. Food was well prepared, of large portions and quite tasty. For families, there are plenty of options for the kids as well. Happy eating.

Spaghetti was way too dry for my liking. Pulled pork sandwich was nice. But quite expensive for what it was. Sydney cider was really good. They have some good stuff on tap here. Friendly staff and chill atmosphere.

Good pub food although a bit on pricier side, some good beers on the tap. Decent ambience. Not much in the way of service, we had to place orders at the counter, pickup our own cutlery, etc. None came again to check on us.

Beautifully cooked vegetables to go with my cooked until it's dead then thrown under a warming light steak replacing the rare in medium rare with well done. It is a club restaurant next to a pool and the beef was obviously good quality though.

Just love crown plaza hunter valley overall. This bar situated inside the crowne plaza hunter. Offers lunch dinner and authentic beers and wine. Loved the vibes and all.

This is my go-to whenever I visit the Hunter Valley. The pizzas are fresh and delicious, whilst the extensive beer list covers all tastes. Pricing is reasonable, given the location, with beers around $12 a pint, and bar food (pizzas and burgers) around the $20-25 mark.

Had the Western seafood buffet dinner which had a lot of fish / cocktails / meats which were all wonderful. The fish was particularly fresh & really yummy; and the liquid batter juice from this dripped off the tongue amazingly. This may not be fully impressive to others though who may find it a bit greasy. Afterwards had some of their homebrew alcohol - they had about 8 or 9 types of beer/cider. I tried 4 different types of these and all were above average. It's worth coming back for a premium experience. I don't gather that it is cheap at all, but certainly worth giving a shot when staying for accommodation there.

Myself and my family went here for dinner tonight for the first time. Such beautiful food and dessert. Not overly expensive but the food is definitely worth it! The staff are so lovely and caring. Quite a large food and drinks venue. I would highly recommend to anyone who has or hasn’t been here. Such a great atmosphere for both adults and children. Live music and activity books for the kids.
