Tasty food and friendly service 😊. We had crab-fried 🦀 rice and Crispy Pork 🥓with basil. Both dish were full of flavour and really tasty 😇. Curry puffs had beans and corn 🌽and we loved it 😋. Fried ice cream🍦was really good. Place was quite, clean and food was serve on time.

Food is good. They need to work on their service. The closing time is mentioned as 9:30pm but they actually close at 9pm. I went with my family and was sharply told that they'll only do takeway as they are closing at 9; a little politeness and accepting that they haven't updated their times correctly would go a long way...

Atmosphere is quite nice and cosy. Service was a little negligent in that they weren't really paying attention to us calling them. But.... The food was really good. The eggplant chips (recommended by everyone else online) was in fact the best entree. The satay sauce had the perfect consistency and peanut flavour. Curry puffs were the usual great flavour. In the main courses both pad kee maos had the correct level of chilli. And the rice had so much more flavour than regular fried rice I've had in the past. Would definitely recommend!!

Great dishes at a classic thai spot located in the mountains. Curry puffs were great, Pa Cha Duck was tastey, but the soft shell crab stir fry curry was a hit - would definitely recommend that to everyone. Enjoy!

Favourite Thai restaurant in the Blue Mountains. So flavourful and rich. Highly recommend: 1. spring rolls (that are made on site by hand) 2. Yellow curry (with chick or tofu) 3. Laksa noodle soup with veges and tofu Staff are always friendly with quick service. A clean and welcoming spot for dinner.

This restaurant has been in Lawson for some time. I have often seen it when getting fresh bread but never really thought about going there or trying the place. My family and I ordered take away from them for the first time last week. I have to say that this Thai restaurant is one of the best that I have found in the Blue Mountains and I have lived here for 20 years. Fresh genuine Thai recipes great service superior menu than the competition. I lived in Thailand as a child and have always been on the look out for the tastes and smells of my childhood. This is not mediocre this is excellent genuine fresh and tasty Thai cuisine. Now that I have tried this place I will not be going to the competition who often seemed to have australianised their dishes. I am glad to have found this local place as in the past my family and I would often drive all the way to the city to find a good Thai restaurant.

Delicious food rich with flavour and spices, and BYO was a big plus as there is a liquor store in the same shopping complex. Inside it was a bit cool (during Winter), but the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly.

Intimate Thai restaurant, with the biggest servings. Prepare to roll out, not walk, especially after one of their very very tasty Laksa's! While sitting inside, you can see how popular the place is with the locals, as take away orders were constant. We'll be repeat customers.

I have had to alter my review of Maprang based on a growing trend of inconsistent performances (original review is below in square brackets). On several occasions now I have returned home after picking up a takeaway order to find things missing. We only live a 5 minute drive from the restaurant and although an inconvenience I have been able to drive back and have the error corrected usually easily and politely. However, our last order which I picked up late in the evening was missing one of the dishes that had been ordered and upon returning to the restaurant was informed the kitchen was closed and they could refund the missing dish. If I order again I will need to get in the habit of checking that everything by has been included. [By far one of the best and most consistent Thai restaurants I have used. Worth travelling to Lawson for. Massaman is a go to staple for us.]

The service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. The crab spring rolls were incredible. Just perfect. The coconut prawns were a bit overcooked but still tasty. And the larb gai was super flavourful. Reasonably priced and a nice place.

Best Thai restaurant in the Blue Mountains. Amazing food and great service. The staff are friendly and offer fantastic service. You won’t be disappointed when you visit this place. They have an imaginative menu with a great variety of food to choose from. Good coffee and a good selection of other drinks to compliment your choice of meal. A popular place for locals and visitors alike so get there early to get a table. Will definitely be eating here again. It has a comfortable interior and pleasant atmosphere.

OMG delicious food ! We stopped on our way to blue mountains holiday. Excellent food and generous portions and ingredients. Some restaurants give bits of tofu or few cashews as topping. No such issues here. And had the most wonderful fishcakes for entree

Last minutes dash meal on the way home. I had the Red Chicken Curry and I really enjoyed it very much. There was a good amount of chicken and vegetables with alot of yummy sauce for my rice. Most of all there's a pleasent spice burn left in my mouth so you know it comes with a little kick of heat. Really enjoyed my meal and had excellent pleasant staff serving me. Would recommend and what a little hidden gem in the mountains

Had a lovely dinner here with my family - great service and delicious food. These guys have perfected their Satay chicken skewers, and the deep fried eggplant chips were amazing - definitely recommend trying! Serving sizes were generous, all food cooked well, and our dishes all had good portions of vegetables (something I wish more Thai places did). I had the BBQ pork cutlets in panang sauce - flipping awesome (make sure you order rice too, to soak up all that yummy sauce). My brother ordered crispy pork with chilli jam, super tasty and crispy, although I'd order something different if you're not a fan of fish sauce (it had a powerful kick). Every plate was empty by the time we were done! We didn't have dessert (already too full of delicious food) but I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!

The Thai at this place is so good I will travel 20km to get it from here instead of the form Thai restaurants I pass along the way. The eggplant chips are very unusual and don't seem all that Thai (i may be wrong) but they are utterly amazing.

I love Thai food and this place is one of the best places I've tried. For value its on par but for quality its way above everything else. As far as I'm concerned there is only one Thai restaurant in the mountains and this is it. Yum! (Tofu pad see ew is my fav)

When first walked in, all you could smell was fish sauce. Should have known better and left then...Arrived on a cold night, only to have a cold air conditioning unit blowing down my neck. Moved tables, no problems. Ordered an entree of cold duck pancakes,4 pieces. One would assume that would mean 4 pancakes. Wrong, 2 cut into 4. They are not large to begin with and looked pathetic cut up. Bad value at almost $10. Next was the chrispy pork and chilli jam. Fine if all you want to taste is fish sauce. This dish had so much potential, just to have it ruined by a cook that has a over zealous taste for fish sauce. Main meal size was fine, as was the service. Decore was lacking.
