The food is decent, it’s McDonalds, the dining area was nice and clean and kept in the historic building design, they were very busy and that led them to forget a few items, best to check before leaving. Overall alright

Taking advantage of $4 cheese burger small meal + small cheese burger. Cheese burger was ok, nothing to rave about . Sometimes this deal is good to be true, good marketing strategies that makes people spend more on different items, at least I did 😄 Bought extra pies one is the classic Apple pie that everyone is familiar. Limited edition of “custard pie” was ok too, nothing extra spectacular about it.

ordered the chicken and cheeses burger. it was very warm... saucy.. etc. it were pretty busy spot i sat on the ground under table unfortunate turn of affair many crumbs and dirt on my bottom after I sat on the floor burger is pictured below.

The interior design is very unique. It's situated close to the cinema so very convenient. There was a delay in my order, so the manager personally delivered it to us with complementary chips, which was a nice gesture.

Gets rowdy late at night, the place to be after a big night out. Plenty of self serve machines, you can browse the menu and pay through these machines. This is much quicker than waiting to be served at the counter. There are also lots of big tables for large groups as well.

Been here so many times who doesn't but never write a review. lol. This place is always so busy as they are at the heart of the city in George Street near World Square. It has one of the most posh & elegant vintage design in Sydney near Townhall which the building was build in 1800's. I came back to try the launch of the BTS meal with 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, two special new sauce; Cajun and sweet chilli & Coke. Chicken McNuggets was always my favourite in Maccas and the new sauces was really good which goes really well with fries and nuggets. A bit pricy for a medium size meal for $12 but good to check it out as the BTS meal is limited launch.

The food quality is as you would expect from a McDonald's. Standard. However the customers at this particular McDonald's are super rowdy. It's always absolutely packed with drunk teenagers. Tonight they were just screaming their heads off in unison for no reason.

I went there at around 3am on a Sunday night, and was really drunk I was really confused about what my order number was. And when my number came up one of the girls kept signalling it was mine but I wasn’t sure. She came and gave it to me and I really appreciated it, she could have just left me to wait for whatever, but instead she was kind enough to help me out. Thank you

Experiences here can vary wildly, depending on the staff working on the day and also the time of day and how crowded the shop is. This time I’ve ordered a medium flat white and I have to say it’s very good, considering it’s a McCafe and lunch time. Taste and temperature just right. Well done to the barista at the front. Being almost school holidays, the place is very quiet for a weeks day lunch time. Just bunches of tourists crowding the tables. This McCafé is one of the better ones in terms of service and quality.

I use to work here back in 1999 and 2000. This place use to be so full of life. The crew was awesome, managers were cool. Except for the islander lady nessi I think her name was lol but Sam, scott, mega, tom were all down to earth. Made some cool friends like Nifo, Davey, will, and met a beautiful girl named Linda there. I wonder if she's still around. Anyone else worked there and knew her last name lol.

Drunk and hungry? This Maccas is your answer 🍔 🍟 By far the best flavoured McDoofs you can find in the city. On par with the one in Potts Points. Eavesdrop or meet some interesting people too. You never know who you may meet and where you may end up. The night is always young here 🌃

Not the best McDonald's in Sydney but far from the worst. Burgers are regularly slapped together and fairly messy but the taste is still there. Many of the issues I have experienced here have been due to management decisions such as not wanting to give lids out for sundaes or proper bags for large orders. One of the bigger McDonald's stores in the Sydney CBD, it is always busy no matter what you visit. Service is ok but the kitchen team have a problem with being the orders correct. The last two times I have been here I have had to return my burgers because it wa s missing ingredients such as the grilled onions. Thankfully it was fixed after my third visit.

If you quick food fast food the way to go. But ordering through their delivery either the food is cold, the delivery driver spilt drinks everywhere inside the bag, or they mistakenly put the wrong order. But if you buy within the store it's ok.

Missing and mixing orders something common with fast food places. So far so good compared to rest of the Maccas in City. I've seen this Maccas as a baby and now grown up. Interior is pretty nice. People aren't so fussed when you loiter around for a long period of time, which is appreciated. The staff are really sweet, but the reason I’m writing this is because I was at the store on 29 October around 6:30pm and the manager on the shift, a large woman with fake lashes, was LOUDLY berating and shouting at the staff. It was making EVERYONE visibly uncomfortable and honestly, if this is the type of management going on at this McDonalds it needs to change. Seriously ridiculous and no way to treat staff

There will be a lot of people during lunch hour and midnight (on weekend) so you might want to expect a bit of delay to get your food but having went to 4-5 McDonald’s everyday in Sydney, I can say this McDonald’s is the fastest— kudos to the staffs, friendly and very efficient.

The fact that this place is dirty , awful smelling, and often filled with questionable people during certain hours and days, does not dimish my rating of this place; especially since during a late Friday/Saturday night, knowing this Maccas is open, with a spacious setting that has ample seating, brings a warmth to any Sydneysiders heart. If you're feeling cold, drained and hungover after a night out, seeing this Maccas in the heart of George Street will make you realise how much you may appreciate this place.

The architecture of this place is quite cool, for a Maccas (Brits; Maccies), its like an old theatre foyer with the modern fast food outlet retrofitted into the back. It has a larger range of breakfast, snack and coffee options than most stores thanks to a dedicated street level coffee section, it does a good job of drawing attention to this range of lighter choices, making me wonder what else the Australian branch of the big M may offer. Fear not though, they have not compromised on the burgers in the back. Self service machines as standard remove any language barriers, and the need for human interaction, and pickup is speedy and efficient. Perfect for a stealthy grab and go. For a more sedate visit there is even free wi-fi for guests; they call it Wi-Fry and I can't decide how I feel about this. Anyway, a solid choice of snack venue with ample seating and experience options. My only criticisms; many of the self service machines were broken, and the fast food section does little to embrace the history of its parent building. Enjoy the food!

Yesterday morning I was walking into McDonalds Plaza Metro on George St when I fell and hurt my ankle. Two ladies helped me up and I managed to get to a chair. I want to thank McDonald's staff Eunice and Judianto (sp?) for being so caring and helpful. Eunice got me a bottle of water which I didn't even have to pay for, and called an ambulance as I knew I couldn't walk on my foot. I thought it was sprained at this point. Eunice stayed with me til the paramedics finally arrived. She did ask for my number as she wanted to call me later to find out how I was doing. I am sorry but I am certain I mixed up the numbers and gave you the wrong number. Anyway, I spent many hours in Sydney hospital, and found out my ankle is broken. I'm in plaster for six weeks. Other than that I'm good though. It's a shame I never got my Macca's breakfast and got a McBroken Ankle instead.

I went here awhile ago and there were a few chinos working behind the counter and one particular chino was making the drinks and as he was putting the lids on the cups he was slamming down the drink on the counter. I said to myself "Any moment one of those is going to pop and coke will go everywhere", so I stood well away from the register. About 30 seconds later, he slammed another coke down on the counter and the lid popped off, coke went all over this arab fellow who was waiting for his meal. He needed to be restrained from jumping over the counter to bash the chinese worker. Good Times.
