Excellent service and great food! One of the biggest issues with all restaurants around darling harbour is the sea gulls. As soon as my food was served a sea gull landed on my table and attacked my food. The staff quickly ran over and without hesitating replaced the entire meal. Will definitely be coming back

I loved their seafood platter not to mention their "Stress Free" cocktail. Margarita was alright 🤣. Prawns are super good, might be good to go for a walk after. But a nice place to set up a fantastic night after!

The service was extremely efficient and friendly, we had a selection of cocktails and food, the drinks were presented beautifully and the food was fresh, with generous portions. This is not the first visit to the restaurant and we have never had a bad experience.

Came here one night with my partner to grab some dinner, they were starting to close the kitchen but checked and allowed us to sit and have our meal. We ordered the lamb ragu and the boscaiola which were both incredible and the best pasta we've ever had. We came back another night and saw the lovely people who served us again. We had the ragu, the duck and a lamb pide to share. Everything was incredible, the portions were great, the red wine jus was to die for. We had a few cocktails which were fantastic, especially the blue hawaiian. Absolutely stunning customer service and wonderful atmosphere. Many thanks to the lovely bartender and waitress who made both of our experiences phenomenal. Will absolutely be back when we come to the city again. Don't trust the other negative reviews, I beg you. Mediterranea was our best dining experience to date!

Really good food, very tasty. The woodfire pizza is amazing ! The service here is great and the atmosphere is perfect right on the harbour. The food is a bit on the expensive side for the serving size but that is to be expected at the city. Great little place to eat a variety of different dishes. I have to minus 2 stars for the reason: we ate here for breakfast and dinner on two different occasions. The prices of the dishes are very high and the serving sizes are just way too small to be worth it. Otherwise the food and the restaurant is decent.

Super lovely restaurant with fair prices and a nice view of Darling Harbour. I shared one of the pizzas (spoiler alert, the pizza was delicious) off the happy hour menu and the deal comes with a drink so my spouse got the house wine which I did sip and it was quite lovely! I personally had the stress-free cocktail and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Definitely would go back!

Had dinner here with some work colleagues. The food was good. There was an incident where a menu blew over and knocked a glass of red wine all over my grey shirt. The staff weren’t very quick to lend a hand. What’s more sad is the loss of a lovely glass of red.

Beautiful place! My boyfriend suprised me with this restaurant and I loved it! Will 100% be coming back. Great location, amazing and friendly staff that would always check on us and were always aware with customers ensuring we would have the best experience possible. The restaurant looks clean and the food choices are very diverse. The service however, wasn't the best with our first waitress. We were seated and waited over 20 minutes for any kind of acknowledgement and didn't get any. We then decided to leave and let the manager know about what was going on to fix it for the next customer. The manager, Michael was very apologetic and immediately offered to at least give us drinks on the house. When we told him that we weren't there for any handouts, just to inform him of the situation, he the asked if we could give the restaurant one more chance and he would personally wait on us. I cannot tell you how much of a night and day difference it was! He was very attentive, personable, and friendly. His attitude about the whole thing was very professional and genuinely cared about our experience at the restaurant. I will recommend this to a friend only because the manager, Michael and his entry staff saved it. I'm glad we stayed because the food and wine was delicious!! Go for the food and drinks.

We are In love with this place. We booked this restaurant for Christmas eve for the first time and after that became our favorite place in darling harbour as we did not have a good experience with any other restaurant s around that area. The food was beyond our expectations and I had a great Mojito there. The bartender was nice enough to come to us and make my drink with crushed ice as it was not on the menu. Friendly staff. Tottaly recommended.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here and it did not disappoint! Food is amazing, ambiance is nice and the people and customer service are superb! Very attentive and caring! <3 I would definitely go back here and would highly recommend to friends and fam for some good Mediterranean cuisine! The asian lady was so lovely, she even asked me if she could give me a hug on my way out! You never get that anywhere! Just an overall lovely experience for me and my friends, so thank you :)

Absolutely perfect breakfast and coffees. We had the Tazzy Salmon with a side of scrambled eggs and the Veg breakfast - they were both spot on. Amazing view with outdoor seating and great service. It wasn't too busy on a late Saturday morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and coffees. Can't wait to visit again!

My family and I came here after we were poorly treated by Cyren, it made out night much better as we were welcomed by a really nice waitress and were served warm dishes. The outdoor seating was lovely, out of the three staff that encountered us they were all friendly and engaged in a short conversation. To me I think this place has good quality service, nice location and good food. There was a slight mix up between the dishes but that wasn't a problem since the plate I received was good.

I ordered the wagyu rump which was nice, and my friend ordered the crispy skin salmon. She enjoyed it, but wanted it cooked slightly more, and the restaurant gladly cooked it more for her.

The food was amazing the lamb shanks had been rendered so well and well not overdone, the skewers were cooked well yet retained their juicy flavour, chicken was succulent and well marinated, reccomend this place for a good lunch. Comment: Only thing I reccomend is to watch the two strands of hair that came with the food only reason not giving five stars.

I find it hard to believe a place called "Mediterranea" does not have anchovies! Apart from that though, awesome atmosphere, great tasting food. A couple of minor bungles with our orders but not enough to spoil our meal. Also, to people complaining about thin pizza with few ingredients, I hope you never find yourself in America, the home of modern pizza (before Australia bastardized pizza with a million ingredients). Mediterranea does awesome pizza.
