Spectacular views, fantastic service, amazing wine, then there’s the food…. Absolutely flawless! Every bite delicious & the flavours so well balanced, could not have been more impressed with the entire experience.

Absolutely delicious food!!! A small menu, but all the choice you need and perfectly executed! We were lucky enough to get a spot under the tree out in front overlooking the vineyard. The manager went out of his way to install a water spray to create a cooling mist. Love to go back next time we’re around 😊

Simply the best. Friendly french and Aussie run venue. Very picturesque location, nice vineyard and good food too. The garlic bread is a fantastic surprise.

Excellent! One of the gems of the Broke area!
Wonderful service from very friendly French staff.
Great menu with great variety, cheeseboard and rib eye were lovely.
Beautiful food with a beautiful view to match.
Recommend doing the wine tasting with your meal. The 2017 Shiraz and Verdhello are particularly good.

Beautiful wines with a spectacular view. Great atmosphere - definitely recommend. We very much enjoyed our wine tasting experience and looking forward to coming for lunch next time!

Delicious modern French / Australian inspired cuisine. The pork belly was perfection. Great setting and friendly multi lingual staff.

Phil and the team are beyond helpful and friendly. We had a big celebration there the night before our wedding and they handled drinks and wood fired pizzas for 100 people without a problem. It was the perfect start to our wedding weekend!
The view is spectacular!! A long lunch, wine tasting or even afternoon into night is amazing. Perfect place to just sit and look at the vines with a stunning backdrop.
Phil also let us pop back in on the Saturday while we were getting our wedding photos as it started to rain. He gave us shelter and a little board of snacks while we waited.
Service is second to none, I will be back every single time I visit the Hunter, Mount Broke Wines holds a very special place for us!

A little off the beaten track but very much worth it! We were recommended to visit for lunch and rightly so. Fantastic rustic French-style food (cooked by a French chef), superb wines and a view of the Brokenback Range to die for. We left with a bottle of 2014 Barbera which was the nicest red of the weekend.

What a little gem! First time here today for lunch and it was a great relaxed experience, coupled with great wines, beautiful seasonal dishes, fantastic service and a stunning outlook. Will be back 👌

Absolutely amazing experience! We have visited the Hunter Valley for many years and this must be the best lunch we ever had.
Our French waitress was fantastic, she was friendly and with a smile the whole time.
The food was superb, the steak by far the best we had in the Hunter ever!
Unpretentious, yet totally superb experience.
We are coming back every chance we get.

Approached by foot and thought it looked average. When rounding the entrance to the restaurant was blown away. Incredible set up with amazing views. The staff were 5 star in knowledge and welcoming. The food is WOW as an ex chef the lamb was the best I've tasted and can't complement the chef enough. Everything cooked to perfection and waiting times minimal. An amazing place to dine.

Had a great meal here, good service and lovely setting next to the vineyard with views to the mountains. This place feels like we’re in the south of France! A family arrived in a helicopter just as we sat down, and I thought, this place must be special!

Amazing food, glorious setting, lovely staff. Mount Broke Restaurant was recommended by Dave from Running Horse Winery - he even called and made a booking for us. Did not disappoint.

Friendly professional staff. Beautiful food (we had wood fired pizza and delicious fruit dessert) and wine. Great view. Very pleased to have had the chance to eat here. Thanks so much!

Had the most amazing 'feast' menu for 10 of us (a mixture of friends and their partners) while visiting the Hunter Valley over the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
Honestly couldn't have asked for more!
The food was wonderful, as was the wine tasting that Phil served us throughout the meal. The views were gorgeous and the service friendly and attentive.
I'm just hoping that I'll be able to go back again, because once everyone realises what a find this is, it's sure to be booked out for months ahead soon!

Amazing food and great service. We will be going back.

Some of the better wines we have found in the Hunter Valley, great pizza, great views and an amazing creme brûlée. We were staying in Pokolbin so it was a bit of a drive, but we’ll worth the drive.

Food and wine was amazing, and the French girl who served us gave us very good service.
However, we notice there is a waiter there who seems to be older and more experience, greeted every other table and making sure all of them are being served. But this never happened to our table and it gave me the feeling it’s becoz we are Asian!
When I was paying my food at the counter and then buying 4 more bottle of wine but that guy didn’t even look at us nor give any eye contact when he was just standing next to me...... let alone saying thank you when I spent over $160 there........
This really put negative feeling to my whole dining experience and thus I gave them 3 stars instead of 5.

Great wines and amazingly delicious food, a true gem in Broke! Such friendly service. Highly recommend the tasting platter for two. Sat at a table only a few meters from the grapevines with a picturesque view. Will definitely be coming back here!!!

As soon as we arrived we knew our choice for wood fire pizza night @ Mt Broke Winery was a great one! Greeted by name our party of 9 were seated and made welcome Young efficient wait staff were excellent and a quick deliberation over the small menu had us on track to a fabulous evening
We were recommended to not miss the truffle pizza and so so pleased we did !
So relaxed and refreshing to be in the hands of non pretentious foodies that keep it simple and delicious with affordable prices so we could all enjoy plenty of selection washed down with a very nice Shiraz while enjoying fantastic views A credit to the owners Thank you Philip ! PS We loved the shish kebabs with your chilli sauce as a special We will be back!!

Great view, great food and last but not least great wine. Take that 15 minute drive away from Pokolbin and enjoy the tranquility and perfect ambience.
We had a great lunch overlooking the vines with a complimentary winetasting of some beautiful wines.

When local recommends something than you take that advice. Its off main turist route which I love it. Wine was brilliant, I guess my cup of tea. Food was perfect and finally I haven't felt ripped off. Walked out with 2 bottles of wine, full from lovely food and big smile on my face. Highly recommended and they will see me again 🙂.....

Very friendly and the food is delicious! The chef is well informed and very friendly! If I'm in the area i will definitely pass by! The poached pear with wine is a must!

Little Vineyard off the track. Was so surprised at the VIEWS! Could have stayed there all afternoon if it wasn't 40'. Owner was very accommodating, showed genuine interest in telling us about the wines and even taking us to the vines themselves and letting us eat and cut some grapes. So amazing for my Swedish in-laws over here visiting. The semillion and verdelho wines were some of the smoothest and refreshing whites i have tasted in a long time. The food was really great, and was not nearly as expensive as what that quality of food would have been elsewhere! We would have never thought a little cellar door could be so rewarding.
