If you’re looking for great coffee and beautiful vegan options in the city, that’s definitely a place to check it out! The staff are very friendly and helpful! I had a lentil vegan halloumi salad that was delightful. They also have a good range of salads for lunch, I’m sure won’t leave there disappointed.

This was a nice cafe with friendly staff. The egg and bacon panini was super delicious. This was the first cafe for the day that forgot my smoothie (3 cafes in one day forgot my smoothie, it was a truly bizarre experience). But the staff were apologetic and quickly whipped one up for me, it was very watery though.

Fantastic food, coffee and service! Our staff had a couple of meals here while staying at the Little National for a work trip and the manager was so helpful setting up a tab and looking after everyone. Highly recommend!

A small and casual cafe when on the run and need a quick lunch. My bacon and egg sandwich would have absolutely been delicious if it wasn't for the burnt bacon. The heavy charcoal taste was a turn-off. However, the eggs were cooked nicely, tomatoes were juicy, and overall delivered quick service.

It was a bit busy the day we went so it took a while for our meals to arrive... my friend had to rush her lunch so she could get back to a meeting. Absolutely lovely staff! Very friendly and positive vibes here. They've got both an ourdoor seating area, a smaller indoor area out the back and a rather large and spacious indoor area on the side of the cafe. Would definitely come here again! Also great if not everyone in your group wants coffee, as they can go with juice instead!

I have discovered this place three weeks ago and I have become a regular customer. There is a good selection of salads, breads and anything you can imagine to add on it. The staff is also very friendly and remembers your name upon ordering :) I am not sharing the opinion of other reviewers regarding the slowness of the service, I think it is actually pretty fast given the amount of orders that are placed in a very short timeframe and the tiny space where most of the staff is working. Good job guys! However, I am removing a star as I am concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen area where the Soup of the Day is made. Last week there was a black hair in the soup and today I found 2 small plastic pieces into it.

A very chic workable place. Made for the busy working individual. Serves a nice breakfast menu with tea or coffee. You have the choice of sitting outdoors or indoors depending on your mood and the weather. It is conveniently near the bus stop so you can grab a bus whenever you wish and/or a cab to your next destination. it's in the middle of the CBD so it's pretty convenient in this sense. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere that helps put your mind at ease whilst you refresh and regroup.

Excellent lunch menu and coffee! On my last visit I had the Lamb Ragu and was delicious, a pleasant surprise. I forgot to take a photo, my bad. The service is quick and friendly and the seating very comfortable with outdoor and indoor options. Worth a walk if you are anywhere in the CBD. Thumbs up!

Good food, bit of a Healthy Nook. Good coffee and friendly staff, pleasant place for meetings and social catch ups. Not so good when it rains. They will serve table service to the building next door. It took me 6 months to work out that was theirs as well. And right on top of the bus and train line.

This is conveniently located near my office and it's a great spot for morning coffees (they make a mean skim flat white). If it's lunch you're after, the salads are delicious and there are lots of fresh and unique choices. The decor is fun with mix matched chairs and little wooden tables, and on a sunny day it's lovely to sit outside and catch a few rays.

Dear lovely Nook team, thank you for my sandwich. I would have preferred the Tuna/egg/olive sandwich I had ordered but the mystery sandwich I was given instead (a spicy chicken?) was just as nice. Nonetheless, I would very much love to have the tuna/egg olive the next time :)

Nice atmosphere, a decent hideout from the usual lunch time rush. The food and coffee/tea are generally very fresh. Had a B.L.A.T. sandwich on the first visit and that was mouthwatering. 2nd visit ordered a chicken schnitzel sandwich and that was, unfortunately, soggy as the salad soaked through the toast in minutes and the sandwich itself become dissatisfying.

My favorite coffee shop in the CBD! I am so in love with their muesli (available in the mornings) that I purchased 2 bags to cover me at home on weekends. After introducing my boss to this place, he purchased coffee beans so he didn't have to go without their amazing brew on weekends either. We often hold small client meetings over lunch - personally I love the quinoa salad and organic iced tea - and have only ever heard positive things. The attention to detail - such as mini bottles of milk served on the side of a long black, or the amazing jams with giant spoons to smear across toast - this place certainly makes coming to work exciting!

Decided have a coffee while waiting for the bus. Was very happy with the smoooooth flat white. They were careful not to take the almond milk too far either which I appreciated. It was just what I needed. Baristas seemed to know what’s up. Looking forward to having another cuppa in the future!

Nook is my local while I'm at work and the food has really improved over the last couple of years. Breakfast and lunch are both really tasty, and their prices do reflect the improvement. Sit outside if you can and the traffic noise isn't too off putting. The decor in the back inside seating area needs an upgrade pretty urgently.

Expect the typical Wynyard lunch time rush - if you want service, you will have to be a little pushy about it. The atmosphere is a bit diner-esque (perhaps because of the oil smell wafting out to my table from their kitchen) despite their hipster trappings. Food was fresh and delicious - highly recommend the halloumi stack and I hear that the gravlax is quite good too.
