Awesome spot to be close to Opera House, enjoying the harbour view with spectacular Harbour Bridge and city nightlight! We got our table at the very back of the restaurant which is the best spot one could ask for, away from the crowds and the lovely view all for ourselves! Ordering was a brisk, just scan the menu, order and pay online. Food is served pretty quick too! Contactless from the server! They are so thoughtful that they even provide a food cover along with the food 🤣. There are lots of seagulls flying over the area so just to be cautious! We had a great time! Great service by the gentlemen at the entrance too.
J. W.
Fantastic place to enjoy the salty breeze and enjoy a cocktail and a meal. Salad was a little overdressed but the drink made me forget about the sunburn.
Y.
Great view. It's part of the opera house tour package, but they only give you very limited choice on the menu and would let me pay for the difference to upgrade to a nicer dish.
T. K.
Lovely spot to enjoy a dinner and drinks by the Opera House. Stunning views of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney skyline. So many great food and wine options- mostly of Italian and Asian cuisines. Highly recommend.
K. G.
Ordered grilled chicken and Chios for 3 children. The chicken was inedible. Dry and overcooked. Brought it home for the dog. I was cranky they did not eat it , but when I tried it I understood. The Chips seemed to be ok. my salad was good. Location sensational .
B. S.
The food hits the standard and quick-served. The tiny issue is hospitality could be better. We were sitting near the ramen kitchen. Waiting for the menu and trying to get attention from the staff but took for a while, sadness we saw another costumers came and got the menu and their food came before us. You might consider increasing more staff Or get a person to pay attention to detail at the table. I normally don't have a high expectation buy this could be better for your business. I talked to the next table as well. Not just my opinion on this issue. Good luck!
H. A.
Attended a work event, had a great time with team mates. The service was great and the staff was friendly. They serve halal meat so I was able to have everything. It's definitely worth a visit.
A. C.
Opera Bar and Opera Kitchen are just an extension of each other and it doesn't matter which side you are sitting, the view of two of the most beautiful iconic structures of Sydney 1) Sydney Opera House and 2) Sydney Harbour Bridge.
We weren't here much for food but did order wines which were not too expensive. Ordered a bowl of French fries which looked overpriced but the bowl was huge.
Fantastic to return again.
J. L.
Thought the place was another restaurant with good views only, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The char-grilled octopus with hummus? was excellent along with their mocktail range.
J. G.
Cocktails were not great, average. Just to state the obvious, the view is fantastic and atmosphere is really nice. The food is fine, well priced and full of options. We've got burgers, sushi, steaks, seafood and dumplings. So as you can tell food variety is broad. Service is fast and everybody is friendly. Last time I got the maple bacon cheeseburger and was good. Not excellent. In general the food is good.
I. H.
It’s a fantastic place with good food. The Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are right there which set the scene beautifully. Wonderful spot to enjoy with friends.
L. R.
With such fabulous views of the harbour and Opera house you really can't go past the location. Beyond this, the drinks menu is diverse and the food tasty and reasonably priced, especially for Sydney.
D. R.
Lots of seagulls flying to attack your chips. The pulled pork burger is delicious! The pulled pork is mixed perfectly and combination of ingredients flavour is good!
Though the meal costs expensive, but is worth to try at least once when touring around Sydney.
Cheers!
M. E.
Love the views of Sydney’s iconic: Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Good service , good food and drinks. Serves kids packages as well.
E. C.
Ohhh what can be better than the view of the harbour bridge and the opera house. This location has to be the best in the world. Coffee was on point too alongside the tasty apple crumble 👌❤😍
S. S.
If you are looking to have a good time with friends; enjoy the time and climate favourable. But be sure your company is good and it will consume your attention .....it is a good place to be at once in a while purely because of the location. If you are picking this place for food and drinks - per se, you can skip it as it is inconsistent and you may be in for a surprise swinging either way. Sea Gulls keep you entertained or pester you, depending how you perceive their intrusions. I had great time with friends because of the view and amazing late afternoon breeze.
F. H.
First of all the view is spectacular on one side you have the opera and on the other side you have the Harbour bridge. We ordered at a counter, paid directly and could choose our seats. The service isn’t the best, because it takes like 20min to get your drinks and another 20min for your food, but considering the view and the amount of people sitting in the restaurant it was no big deal. The Burger was tasty, but for me a little to much pickels and way to less of the delicious burger sauce. The Fries were perfect, crispy but not to much. The
price is absolutely ok, because of the location.
A. W.
Fantastic experience! The team were really great as they served us, they had great food and drinks and decently priced for the opera section of the CBD. Bonus is, it was a baking hot day and we could see the team actively organising to keep all patrons in the shade, well done team! 🙏🏼
F. J.
The truffle fries and nachos are really good but a bit expensive mainly due to the location of the restaurant. The area is busy especially with tourist and it can filled up easily during the day. The view is splendid on a warm weather and plenty of parking underground for $40 on weekdays and $15 on weekend.
A. J. W. T.
Perfect restaurant and place for relaxing and have the perfect view of harbour bridge and Sydney Opera House. They have also authentic Sydney Beer, friendly staff, delicious food, a must place to visit in Sydney. A little bit pricey but it is worth it.
A. C.
Fantastic and very quick service even if it was busy. Apparently, the place can get crowded but you may reserve seats for your convenience. The food was so good and well presented. The price was not too bad. The dessert was surprisingly better than Lindt chocolates I may say. Overall, my taste buds were satisfied. 😋
By the way, yellowfin tuna poke in the photo is not mine. Raw meat is not my thing 😉
**Reply to the owner: No worries. Definitely will be back. Cheers! 🍻

Enjoyed breakfast here in June 2021. Had the Bacon, egg, rocket & sugo roll and orange juice (which was the good stuff) - good value & great food in a beautiful spot - but beware the seagulls...
S. P.
Good but different menu to Opera Bar so be prepared. Carry sunscreen and a hat as the sun comes in under the umbrellas as afternoon wears on.
S. R.
Beautiful setting, great service and excellent food. Had a wonderful time with some wine looking at the harbour bridge
D. B.
Opera, located next to the Opera House kitchen, amount to make a bit high, that's the food can be is less than expected, but hated the taste of the Opera House in a position to go often find
H. P.
Very beautiful views over the bridge & opera house. Decent selection of drinks. Food selection was limited. Ramen was ok, not amazing
L. L.
We booked a tour of the Sydney Opera House and had an hour to kill, there’s no matter place to enjoy the scenery of the Sydney Habour Bridge and the Opera House from the outside than Opera Kitchen.
Located just underneath the Opera House, you get the full view of both the bridge and opera house just sitting outside, the food was beside the point and tasted very average. To enjoy the scenery under the blazing sun, do make sure you put enough sun screen on!
🍡Must order🍡
- Anything to get the view

We had the salmon Niçoise salad and edamame beans. Service was efficient and the salad was lovely. Reasonable price for the city. FYI - It can be really difficult to find a table on weekends and it takes some time to place your order but keep persisting, the tables turn over fairly quickly. Also, be prepared for your meals to come out at different times. When we have been here in the past we rarely have been able to eat our food together. To avoid this problem, order the same meal!
h. m.
The best view and atmosphere of sydney harbour. An unforgettable experience. I just wish they had more variety of foods.
C. T.
Opera kitchen is a must for anyone visiting sydney. The views from this place are amazing. The food and drinks are priced well for the location, but cocktails are rather expensive. The menu doesn't have ad much variety as it used to. Lots of pasta and salads. The service is quick, convenient and friendly.
J. K.
Best views. Reasonably priced drinks and the Five Grain Superfood Salad was to die for. Staff are efficient and friendly as well 😁
a. s.
The food was good and the drinks were well priced, however what made our night exceptional was the manager Sammy who went above and beyond to make our night amazing
G. A.
If you are looking for an experience in SYD, this is definitely THE place ✨ I recommend coming for lunch as you get whole view, the sunlight, the seagulls!!! And the food is wonderful. Freshly cooked and good amount of serving.
S. K.
Food was delicious...view was amazing!!
Sun was too much...more shading would have been great
L. B.
Very busy at lunch time on Sunday, but exceptional friendly staff. My friend and I decided to stop over for lunch before heading to a show in the Opera House. The Salmon was beautiful presented and tasted yummy! We had one of the Frozen cocktail and the Berry mocktail, both delicious! Not to forget the breath taking location: our table was right near the water, overseeing the harbour bridge and the opera house.
Will definitely be back.
C. S.
Make sure if you go here and are under 18 that you have someone 25+ with you, it would great if this was explained in the booking process. I really enjoy going here so my boyfriend and I (we are both 17) booked 3 days in advanced to have dinner then couldn't actually go inside. We understand the rules and the staff was super helpful and polite although it was tough to find another place to eat, having it be outlined before you make a booking would be really helpful, thanks!!
D. O.
Lovely service. We had the wonderful Leah serve us and held on to her. Onion rings highly recommended. Great view of the harbour...
C. S.
Got there early on a beautiful afternoon, place was already pretty crowded, and they found us a seat. The waiters were great considering how busy it was. The food we ordered was well presented, very tasty and we'll cooked, and the views were fantastic WOW. What better way to spend the afternoon with scenes of Circular Quay the Harbour Bridge and of course the Opera House, with beer and champagne in hand enjoying the sun, just amazing Day. Oh and the food was great, did I mention that.!!!
D.
Good view & perfect location.
How about the food taste? Nah you cannot ask for too much.
T. A.
Great place for food and drinks with some lovely views but the seagulls are a bit of a pain :(
B. W.
Excellent food, friendly service and who can fault the backdrop of our harbour! A must visit.
P. P.
Fast service. Helpful, professional and friendly staff. Watch the cunning seagulls who steal your food.
E. B.
Recently visited Opera Kitchen with my girlfriend and a group of friends and we had an absolutely amazing evening!
There is no better location in the world to soak in the Sydney Harbour views. We visited for drinks and nibbles and it was a treat! Delicious cocktails and great bar food.
I would highly recommend!
M. S.
Excellent place with fabulous service and amazing food. Breathtaking views of darling harbour and Opera house.
C. G.
Fantastic place, amazing location, staff is really nice and helpful. Edamame bowl & grilled Zucchini panini were excellent. Staff let me charge my phone behind the counter which was really cool from them. Would be great to add another vegan option (e.g. a main one) and careful with the birds which are trying to steal food straight from the plate.
H. G. W.
If you buy the tour ticket, you can get 10 percents off coupon for the Opera Kitchen. I personally think it’s a good choice for visitors who join the opera house tour. Burgers are served with fries, and the freshly caught grilled fish is really fresh and delicious. Also, you can watch seabird and the quay view while eating.
S. D.
Excellent place. Good taste, Nice drinks, great view and ambience make it a place for revisit. Right combination of indoor and outdoor make it an enjoyable joint.
r. K. C.
Pastas are delicious, rich and creamy in taste. Great place to hangout with awesome view.
A. T.
Amazing view, Great food, reasonable prices.
Sunday evening parking was cheap.
Get rid of the Sea Gulls !!! Ha
B. P.
Wonderful place for a drink and to soak up the atmosphere and energy of circular quay and the harbour.
M. S. I.
A good place to seat and enjoy the view with little bit expensive side of foods. Still worth it.
M. B.
Tuna sandwich was spot on. Great table outside overlooking the harbour bridge.
A. W.
You won't get a better view... And the staff are very nice, friendly and efficient... But the food is terrible.... No flavour... The onion rings have no Onions (they've been fried and refried so much there's nothing left but an oily battered crust). .. Just deep fried, rock hard batter... The burgers are awful... But it's a great view... Just get some fries and a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
D. S.
Every trip to Sydney needs to include a stop and a drink at the Opera Bar.
This year, I'm drinking non-alcoholic beverages and the Opera Bar has a separate drinks menu which is great👍🏼.
I recommend the Non-alcoholic Amaretto Sour.
S. M.
The unbeatable view is a given, and built into the prices, but has nothing to do with the quality of the restaurant. The coffees took a while to come out. We were waiting for the lunch menu to become available, which were delivered to every empty table around us but not ours! Ordered and paid via a QR code at the table. Vege gyoza fine but warm not hot. Pumpkin ravioli was great, the prawn spaghetti however was dry, pretty flavorless & had very little prawn which was in pieces, no whole prawns. Not recommended. Overall an impersonal mixed bag, will go to the Opera Bar next time.
H. P. B.
Amazing experience. Friendly staff and good view.
S. C.
Excellent hygiene and safety process and delicious food in the best location
M. S.
Very tasty meals here tonight , not crowded at all and good place to eat before a show at the Opera House.
E. B.
Great views of Sydney and the Harbour Bridge. We arrived and waited a short time for a table (Opera Bar lines were long). We ordered some snack foods to share and a bottle of wine. All good.
We had been seated down under the board walk for the Opera House and asked if a table with a view became available could we have one please (some of our group was from out of town), we got a negative reply and that is why only 3 ☆s. It made a big difference to our night. Of course everyone want a seat with a view, but our request wasn't even considered.
N. Z. (. O.
Come for the view, drinks are ok and the food is fine for an average restaurant. Go during Vivid for the best experience.
G.
Great food ,Service was also excellent! ♥️👍
M. M.
Wow to be honest was not expecting to eat here, thought would be too expensive, and not very good value for money, but checked out prices found VERY reasonable for the amazing location, and food turned out to be great. Biggest problem is on a nice sunny day you will find it hard go leave.
M. H.
5 stars, were able to accomodate me and a large group of friends without notice after an altercation at Opera Bar where I initially booked. The staff were so friendly and helpful, moving the tables sideways to accomodate all of us. So thankful for them to saving the night that started off so dreadfully at Opera Bar.
R. R.
Food & service was fantastic..
Love the atmosphere..
Y. G.
Now that it’s open under new management it’s awesome! Italian food and Asian fusion is yummy.
Def recommend the ravioli!
Coffee here is amazing as well - day and night 10/10
A. S.
Possibly one of the best viewed on the world. Have a coffee, have a wine, have something to eat. It's a must visit when in Sydney.
N. w. m.
The best place for dinner before a show at the Sydney Opera House!
S. L.
You are paying for the view and the company of aggressive seagulls. The fish of the fish and chips ($30) were dry, tasteless and not hot. The orange juice is the ordinary (not the good kind) orange juice you buy from the shops. Thankfully the chips, burger and coffee were nice and the service was efficient.
D. S.
I have quite a nice experience here. Ordered quinoa salad, they put macadamia nuts inside the salad! So yummy!
A. H.
Good food and staff. I enjoyed that there was a dedicated seagull patrol to stave off the annoying pigeons.
G. P.
Bit disappointed some of the wait staff were more interested in flirting with female patrons instead of clearing tables and shuing away seagulls. Food options were average. Obviously the location is good and the view across the harbour is amazing, however, you have to walk through the Opera Bar first and their staff were more attentive and the food and drink options are superior.
V. d. F.
Beautiful location - good food, big choice.
K. G.
Great food with impressive views you wont get anywhere else. Service was also excellent as the cashier overheard that I wasnt from around here and recommended some great local beers for me to try. It is a tourist attraction, so expect lots of people on most days. There is a 'seagull patrol' dog and handler who run around to ensure no seagulls are pestering you as you eat.
M. J.
Amazing views from this bar restaurant. Sit back with a cocktail and watch the sun go down and enjoy the views and atmosphere
J. S.
I was there for morning tea and it was all about the location. It doesn't really get better. Iconic Sydney right on the harbour. Great service too.
G.
Good food and drinks, awesome view. But the seagulls are a bit annoying so watch out before they steal your chips!
J. K.
Love the avocado toast here, and the location can't be beat.
J. H.
So glad I finally got to mark this off my bucket list! Got to see a great show from John Hopkins! Such a beautiful place. Very unique. Loved every moment inside as well as from the ferries in the bay.
S.
This is my absolute best place to visit here in Sydney. It's just iconic and the botanical gardens are just around the corner. It's the perfect place to have a glass of champange and just be thankful for even being here is enough for me. Taking it all in from the cruise ships to the tourist and array of things to do you can't go wrong.!
L. S.
Best views in the world !!! Nice place for a snack and few drinks !!!
r. r.
Great atmosphere and is usually packed due to close proximity to opera house and harbour bridge. The views are awesome but the food and drinks are pricey. A beer would set you back by 10 bucks on average. Quality of food is average. The sea gulls are annoying and will steal your food if you are not careful.
S. S.
This is a highly edited review from the original. Staff has managed to change the menu content to reflect the ingredients in the items, especially beef, which I had a beef about with the initial review.
This is place is way too busy and spread out to really enjoy the food. Only a handful of dishes are good and since it takes a really long time for staff to clean a table and even deliver food, the experience is disappointing. After 5 years, I still see a string of waiters/waitresses being rude and completely ignoring certain ethnicities(I assume they are the working holiday crowd)
Z. D.
Delicious food cozy sitting with an amazing view!
T. W.
The food was lovely, no more pricey than other places. If you think London is expensive wait till you get to Sydney. Good food and served with a smile by the opera house. Happy customer
C.
Good food, fast service, amazing views, persistent seagulls. On the last point, I personally found the gulls entertaining and part of the Sydney Harbor experience. I realize Opera Kitchen consistently works to mitigate seagull impact for those diners that might not enjoy it as much as I did.
O. K.
T. P.
The food was better than expected, not fine dining, but fresh and we'll prepared. They are quick which is good for pre theatre eating. If only they could get rid of the seagulls it would be less stressful.
J. K.
Great spot to get some bites before a show. Unfortunately the local seagull gang thinks so, too. Make sure you use the covers provided by staff to protect your food, and be especially careful with small children!
G. A.
Very popular with great views. Loved the sweet potato chips with vegemite aioli. Will definitely have to find other access than the stairs for wheelchairs etc. Extremely busy place. The breeze coming off the saltwater was refreshing. Would recommend it.
M. A.
The sandwiches are delicious and the place is wonderful but uncluttered
C. C.
Nice view and great grilled salmon
A. R.
Positives: Great views and friendly staff.
Areas to improve: the food arrived cold and came at different times. The quality of the food was distinctly average. At an average of $30 per head (excluding drinks), I was expecting higher quality.
Summary: you'd go there for the views and not the food.
K. P.
Delicious dumplings, although sad they've taken the scallop ones off the menu - they were super tasty. The truffle fries are really good with just the right amount of parmesan and truffle flavour. The food comes out fast which is a pleasant surprise given how busy this place usually is. Great selection of cocktails. If you're lucky you'll see one of the cruise ships come in or out
I. E.
Opera kitchen is just amazing!
Atmosphere, sea front and unique chairs and tables as well as nice sitting area on the sea front all make it so relaxing and cheerful.
food, drinks and customer service excellent.
Although it was too busy but it didn’t take too long to serve us.
Recommended.
T. M.
A bit expensive. Not amazing. This review is based on a more limited experience, as such I am upping my 3 stars to a 4 star review to balance it out.
We decided to stop here for a quick bite while waiting for our Opera House tour. We opted for two glasses of soft drink and a fries to share. Now we have seen them multiple times on our travels through the harbour, and they are almost never NOT busy. I mean, no matter the time of day, busy. Always. Right before sundown at 5pm at night is no different.
We sat down and couldn't get the attention of anyone to serve us, despite siting fairly close to the bar and one of the order stations. We decided to just get up and order which went relatively smoothly. We paid $21 for two soft drinks and a small bowl of fries and were told it would be under 10 minutes wait time.
In less than 5 we had our drinks and fries, great! The fries were pretty fresh. They werent just sitting there waiting for us to order, so that was fantastic, however they were completely unsalted. Now everyone knows that if fries arent salted right as they come out and are drip drying, then you have missed the key opportunity.
The fries ended up being super bland and pretty blah. The sauce bowl they give you is barely enough for half the bowl and trying to flag down service for an extra bowl of ketchup was difficult, so we gave up and ate them as is.
The drinks were pretty small for $5 drinks, even if they are on the water. Less than 2/3 of a can (around 200-250ml) in the glasses once you take into account the enormous amount of ice in them.
Now look - for meals they looked great, but the pricing is outragous, especially given how busy they are. They have non stop tourist traffic, massive bars stretching down the promenade and just endless drinks going out. I can't help but feel a little ripped off for what we paid... we opted not to return for dinner after the Opera House because of this.
E. W.
The view is just beautiful and the food is good...but the service is consistently horrendous. Lackadaisical. Waitstaff are pleasant but seemingly not very interested in what they’re doing. Food is brought out when it’s ready —even when asked not to do this— so some people in the party may not receive their food until everyone else is finished eating. Or dishes that are to eaten together (e.g., main +sides) cannot be eaten together. No amount of requests otherwise are ever honored. This is not a small thing and it is the norm. Better to just go for the drinks and view.
M. W.
Go for the awesome view, take some selfies, hang out for a drink or two and maybe a snack to eat.
H. H.
I read a lot of mixed reviews about the food before coming here so I expected my experience to be mediocre - I was wrong. The pizzas were lovely (we had the chorizo and margherita) and the table shared wedges and sweet potato crisps (which were yummy also).
It was Saturday night (24/03) and the venue was packed, so I can imagine how many clients wanted food. Our meals came within 30 minutes and the staff were friendly and welcoming, despite being inundated with customers.
I also work in hospitality so I can understand how stressful it must have been last night, and how impatient customers can be. Thank you for your amazing service, and I look forward to visiting again when we come back into the city!
J. W.
Wonderful location, beautiful night, tasty food, poor service and a credit card surcharge in 2018 when no one uses cash anymore. We had a lovely night but the management here could really lift their game. Trying to buy a drink and all the staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves.
C. F.
Stunning location that goes without saying. Salmon poké bowl was great. Ramen was the worst I've had anywhere sadly.
S. T.
Place is very nice, but service is terrible and very unprofessional, i got my first orange juice full of ice cubes for 5 AUD....
My second orange juice, i had to ask without ice cubes.
C. M.
Dare I say better the the opera bar for food and drink due to modern fixtures on the tables so no need to walk and que to order anything. This also makes splitting bills etc very straightforward. Good food and not extortionately priced for the location. Lovely staff.
A. P.
Even on rainy days, this is one of our favourite places. The friendly staff comes from all over the world and we love talking to them. The food is great, considering where we are sitting. I bring many tourists to The Opera Kitchen and nobody has ever complained. Breakfast with 6 Germans, who will have JUST arrived, is coming up.
L. G.
Perfect location for locals & International guests COVID-19 compliant. Great food & cocktails. Wonderful staff. And the views...priceless!
J. L.
Took a visitor from overseas there for a meal and drink, food was ok, little on the expensive side but you gotta expect it considering the location. If you’re going in a hot day in summer, I’d suggest you go around dusk or after sundown, it can be quite hot even in late afternoons. Did I mention the views? It’s awesome! Best place for a beer in Sydney.
S. W. L.
Good taste but should defend seagulls and pigeons
L. D.
I enjoyed the chilli cheese dog however I removed a point as it didn't really match the description. While very tasty, it literally had one chilli bean in it and no trace of a jalapeno whatsoever and the sour cream was very sparse and there was some ground or pulled beef in it. Enjoyable but this jalapeno fiend was a bit disappointed in the lack of promised jalapenos. I would still go back and their strawberry daiquiri is a frosty treat on a warm day.
O. M.
View is amazing. The service was a bit slow but staff was nice. The seagulls are annoying. The drinks are good.
I. C. B.
Beautiful view, average drinks... Unhappy stuff. One bartender was preparing cocktails as if someone threatens him to do it. Another time, I asked a waiter to order food and he says he's not taking orders. I would expect "sorry, I am not taking orders but will send someone to do it" or something..
P. O. (.
Great food, needed to line up and sign in as per covid regulations. Priceless view.
K. B.
Great food and service. Nice cool place to sit and have a meal and ice water during the heat before or after you visit the opera house. We enjoyed the tour.
P. M.
Ideal place to dine just at the heart of the city and closest to the Sydney Opera House, with the view of the Habour Bridge. Menu is good. Love their seafood varieties.
P. T.
Prices are steep for a place where you order and pay at the counter. The food is of quality though. One big downer is the cakeage fee of $30. We were told that it was to go towards the cake being served to us after the candles were blown out, but it wasn't. I don't think charging $30 for cakeage fee was reasonable, when everything was self-serve.

Amazing views, friendly staff, good service, and great food!
Literally can't beat the views or location... you're able to sit outside right by the waterfront and luxuriate. Order and pay at the counter, and staff will magically appear tableside with your food. Then enjoy views of the Bridge and Opera House.
Speaking about food... the lamb chops were amazing, and the chicken siu mai was great too.
Highly recommend!

Fish of the day was tuna, I never had a meal that tasted of nothing. Didn't taste bad, just lacked any flavor. Once covered in lemon juice it tasted of lemon. Coleslaw was great, and wine was ok, all in all not worth the price.
P. E.
Good food. Great views. Can be very busy on weekends, so hard to get a table. Service is a bit confusing, you can order at the counter but some staff also take orders at your table. They bring the food to you, but it looks like it can be hard for them to find your table number, so keep an eye out for your food.
C. G.
Nice place, u will love the ambience and will fall in love with the place. Varieties of cocktail, crafted beers.
E. B.
Nice spot, great system of booking using a we code directly from the table. Staff were friendly and the view is amazing.
R. v. B.
Pretty good food for a decent price. Very good coffee. Day and evening a wonderful view. Made new friendships with seagulls.
D. C.
WATCH OUT OF THE VERY AGGRESSIVE SEAGULLS
Great food, Great coffee, wonderful staff and service. But the many seagulls that you have to constantly watch and chase off ruin the experience. Best done before you go. .
V. T.
Food was tasty, but the portions were very small. They must improve the quality of seating. Not enough tables and chairs for a cold rainy day.
M. S.
This is a very busy place. The birds will get in the way as well as the wind. The view is to die for, however. I liked the fish and chips, too. The fish was fulfilling and and the fries weren't too salty or greasy.
B. G.
Good service and wine selection. We got two cheeseboards which were nice but quite expensive. Nice atmosphere and location. I got sliders which contained vege, beef, and chicken sliders. Chicken tasted like a McChicken from Macca's, beef was very dry, vege was amazing. Probably wouldn't come here again.

Great time for seeing Sydney harbour bridge and Opera house
c. b.
Perfect for a drink with a view of the bridge
G. Z.
Food was great BUT the seagulls attacked our food constantly.
They grabbed some chicken from our plate.
The staff gave us only one mesh food protector instead of 2.
Very annoying to eat lunch and get attacked by hungry seagulls.
G. C.
Nice casual dining experience. Had thre chargrilled chicken breast, southern fried chicken and truffle pecorino fries. Very tasty. Great cocktails as well. Great views of the bridge.
A. G.
Great view and atmosphere. Expensive but worth it if you are looking to enjoy drinks and nibbles in the company of harbour bridge and opera house which are two of world's most beautiful monuments
J. M.
A good selection of wines by the glass and very good food on offer. Opera House staff discount given. Superb location on a balmy Summer evening. Staff friendly and informative.
A. B.
Came here on the weekend and ordered a some food and drink. Overall both were ok but the seagulls are pretty annoying. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the kids fish & chips.
V. D.
Best beer battered fish and chips i've ever had!, Huge portion size; but just couldn't stop eating. Although quite expensive as you can really expect from something in That Westfield. service was alright. easy to find right in front of escalator.
S. T. A.
You're here for the views and the beautiful people but if you get hungry, the food is delicious and the drinks go down easily. Even the jaded Sydneysider will find the energy here invigorating. Succumb to your inner tourist and go with the vibe.

I love this place. Food is awesome. Right on the water. Views are the best. Staff are so accommodating. Best day for great lunches
S. H.
Opera kitchen with great view and seagulls 😂
C. R.
this 5 star rating is only for the person. who served us. Named Ashley from Manchester England. she reminded me when I use to be in customer service and the fact that we still have people who care about customers. genuine with positive personality who wants to just give you a welcome feeling despite the fact she has been in sydney for a week only. I loved her and I will go back only for her service. well done and thank you.
I. S.
Excellent and uncluttered view of the Sydney harbour bridge while dining. . So close to water and bridge, its like dining on cruise and but not high up.It is an awesome experience for my holiday with family . The Thai salad was authentic and burger and chips were delicious... lot of options in asian food, but hardly any in Indian food. May be the Opera kitchen can explore some indian cusine option which popular not only with Indians but with the Brits ans Europeans.. you do not need expand your menu largely but add some dishes and multiply your guests....
D. P.
Amazing view, and better food than the bar next door. The only con is the security staff that hassle you if you pause in the walkway to decide where you’re going
L. 4.
Great views, seating needs updating near the wall. Basic food for a little too much. Cocktail$$$, 🍺$$, service basic. Had to ask twice for drinks. Food arrived before drinks.
J. W.
Great location and the food was delicious
s. p.
Nice bar , great views . Shame about the seagulls.
J. C.
Don't get the mexican share plate. Barely enough for one, let alone two. Southern fried chicken on the other hand, could have fed three. Other than that, fast service and friendly staff.
P. D.
Expensive and the food is very ordinary.
Watch out for the seagulls - they show no fear of people and will fight you for the food on your plate.
K. C.
This is an amazing place to be. I was on a keto diet and i got a customised low carb salad to fit my diet. Absolutely loved the preparations and presentation. Would love to visit this place again!
D. R.
Beautiful location, food is lovely on the expensive side for what you get but you are literally sitting on the harbour. Staff are friendly and if it isn’t too busy you can get table service.
J. C.
Overpriced cafe foods that's also not tasty. Good view of the Opera house and the harbour bridge though. Just come for a drink but don't expect too much from the foods.
D. B.
Best view Sydney Harbour Bridge in Sydney
T. W.
Good selection of foods and drinks on the menu. Price is reasonable considering the location, view is iconic. Be careful of the Seagulls!
M. R.
Outside tables are great on a nice day. Yes there are gulls around. Good service and decent prices field a large cappuccino and croissant.
K. N.
Great location, tasty food at reasonable prices. Sea gulls can be annoying if you are sat along the wall as they beg for food
J. R.
Great place when the weather is good and it isn't too crowded
J. A.
Staff were great. Food & Service was really good. A beautiful location!
W. P.

One of my favorites!!!! I bring some of my friends & family here quite often to relax. Kid friendly, neat & tidy. Expensive restaurants though.
M. S.
Food was great, service was prompt and courteous, view was great, and the seagulls were entertaining. Not sure we will be back, as we were visiting from Chicago

Strong enough long black..^^
C. D.
Great service, delicious food & exceptional views 😊
J. V.
Great salmon/avocado open sammy. Instagrammed a picture of it and soon after a seagull swooped down and ate it. Still don't understand why we call them sea-gulls if they are on the Sydney Bay... Doesnt that make it a Bay-gull? 🍩
M. W.
Perfect place for a casual pre show dinner with beautiful scenery. Highly recommend the chili burger and the salmon salad
J. F.
Reasonably priced cafe style food. We had pie of the day with chips and a ham, cheese, tomato panini with chips. Food was tasty but average.
s. b.
Great location, great food. Go here if your going to the opera they have a great sertup. Go here just for a evening out.
S. K.
Fantastic view, good variety in the menu and decent service for such a venue where thousands of tourists and locals are visiting daily

S. M.

The view is amazing but the seagulls might potentially ruin your mood
