J. E.The wine is great, but the staff descriptions can be a touch on the flamboyant side. Like any newcomer to the natty wine scene I like to ask for a recommendation. Now, typically, you’d expect to hear about the flavour, tannins, and maybe even a few pairing suggestions. But more often than not at P & V I’m on the receiving end of a tutorial about the wine’s “hilarity”, being told “it’s a meme”, or that “it’s a blast” — the last of which led me to believe I was ordering a Molotov cocktail.
S. B.Great atmosphere! Incredible assortment of wines and tasty food as well. Spent quite a few enjoyable hours here :) Staff very warm & friendly with a special shout out to Andy. Definitely worth it!
