Best Italian restaurant, this side of Leichhardt. I couldn't take a pic of the pizza as we scoffed it before I could get a chance to take a pic! Service was impeccable and it's a good family vibe in this little hidden gem of Panania. Do yourselves a favour and come to Pikkio and come hungry!

OMG I'm in love with everything here! This local restaurant is truly amazing!! Located right next to a carpark. Better if you reserve your table. Staffs are very friendly and caring. Service is pretty efficient. Cozy atmosphere. Food? Speechlessly wonderful. Very traditional Italian food with special dishes based on seasons I think, but it's lovely! Pictures are what we ordered for two (quite bug eaters). Would definitely return to try their pizzas as I'm so excited to try their Quattro Formaggi pizza and Ossobuco if still available.

Lovely Italian restaurant in Panania. There a variety of pastas, pizzas. There's section in the restaurant with all the specials available. The chef (owner) came to our table to explain the dishes - so nice to hear. Ossobuco, Risotto and Gnocchi were our mains.

I just ordered a pizza and asked for it to be made with love and boy was it amazing. Have consistently ordered food from Pikkio for the last 3 years or so. Their food has NEVER disappointed. My pizza was perfectly cooked, the flavours were amazing the acidity from the tomatoes added the perfect burst of flavour. They are currently rated 4.5 out of 5 and truly believe this is highly underrated. This is one of the best restaurants and you can feel their passion for their food. Compliments to the chef.

I'm so happy to have such a nice Italian restaurant in Panania. Their customer service is undeniably fantastic which should serve as the benchmark for other local restaurants. The decor truly does give you that Italian feel and their food is definitely reason to visit. I had the Caprese pizza which has an amazing base with tasty toppings. The only let down for me was the buffalo mozzarella which was a little bit bland and should have been the hero of the pizza. That being said still a high quality pizza which should be ordered. Looking forward to returning.

Ordered off Door Dash on a whim tonight and wow, truly impressed with good food. Most places around Revesby and Panania are quite mediocre but wow, just wow... Dare say this would be the best food we've had in the area since moving here. Pizza brought us right back to Italy! Slightly charred bottom, chewy base and puffy crust. So good! And the dessert, the baked ricotta cake even came with gold leaf. Damn good effort for take away! Can't wait till we can dine in there, will definitely be there!

Tried for the first time last night. We have been missing fabulous pizza since our favourite at Revesby moved to Merrylands a few years back. This pizza was at least as good, if not better. Excellent quality, amazing service. My kids are self proclaimed pizza critics, and have declared Pikkio their new favourite.

Doesnt get much more authentic and freshly delivered than this! Food was absolutely delicious, delivered on time and piping hot! The whole family loved the Pizza, Pasta and Garlic Prawns! Not to mention the Tiramisu was just next level. What made this whole experience even better is using the Pikkio Assistant to put your order in online, pay and select the delivery time you wanted. Request for a 5.15pm delivery, got the message from Pikkio Assistant 10 mins before to advise that my delivery will be there shortly. 5.14pm there they are at the door with the goods! Absolutely fantastic food and so easy with delivery. Thanks guys!

This isn’t a review just for the sake of one, this is a review because I would be doing a disservice to PIKKIO and the lovely staff if I didn’t leave these kind words. The food is amazing, the specials board is always changing with dishes that send your tongue directly to Italy. They know my order back to front and it’s always served nice and hot in a timely manner. I couldn’t recommend this Restaurant enough, thank you to both of the Daniels and staff. Got a take-away that I picked up. Ordered garlic prawns, veal, tortellini and tiramisu. The food was perfect and good quality but the tiramisu was on another level - absolutely divine - made the way it should be by using lady finger biscuits instead of sponge, a big YUM! The only disappointment was that the vegetables that came with the veal were undercooked and difficult to cut through, hence only 4 stars. Overall a good 3-course meal!

This a terrific Italian restaurant, that has a strong local client base, bookings are essential. It's located directing opposite Panania Catholic Church and has a 60 space car park next door. Staff are extremely good, they know the specials as well as the menu. It seats about 60-80, is BYO wine and the staff make your time here a pleasure. And now the food. First, they do a lot of pizzas to go. In the 2hrs we were there, at least 20. Pizzas went through the door for delivery and it seems to have a separate, dedicated area for pizzas. That many local orders always says the food will be top notch. Aside from pizzas, the restaurant caters for authentic Italian dishes. We had a mix of fish, pasta, octopus, salads, breads. Everything was absolutely delicious. There is a kids menu as well as a standard menu. Portions are generous to say the least. As a tip, order dessert at the beginning and be prepared for a doggy-bag, otherwise you'll be looking at dessert but unable to eat anything. The chef is very good. Ingredients are all home made, and very rich. Bread types suit the dish they're meant to accompany. Foods are just magnificent, they really do try and it shows. If you like real Italian, you'll love this restaurant. Menu is on their website, but they had 9 specials when we dined there. The flathead was crispy, salad a real treat. We also tried two types of pasta and an octopus salad as mains. The octopus was melt in your mouth with none of the rubbery texture I've had elsewhere. That alone was worth the visit. The can do entrees as mains and pretty much anything you can think of. BYO is welcome as are kids. There was an 18th birthday going on, so they obviously do groups and functions. Lastly, the owner/manager Daniel was on deck and was making sure everyone was effortlessly having a good time. He's laid back, but really knows how to run a restaurant. Prices were about right for suburban eaters, and the quality and amount they provide makes it sound like a bargain. Would I go back? 100%. We were tipped off to this suburban gem by a local (of course) and given everything they got right, it's hard to fault them. You WILL enjoy the food. In case your wondering, the name of the restaurant (Pikkio) is Italian for "woodpecker", same as the stylised symbol on their logo, it relates to the local bird in the area where the family has its roots.

Amazing service! My partner is diabetic and accidentally ordered a drink with coke (rather than diet coke), and had a high blood sugar and couldn't drink it. A Perfect Family Dinner. Visiting family in Sydney Australia and we heard about this itialian restaurant in a suburb of Sydney, Panania. The restaurant is vibrant and warm and service was friendly and attentive. We ordered anti pasta for the table...calamari, which was fresh and tasty and probably the best I've had in a very long time; garlic prawns to die for, with sauce so good we needed extra bread to sop it up; bruschetta, which is served like a pizza and yummy, fried zucchini chips with buffalo mozzarella and a garlic and cheese pizza (great for sopping up the extra garlic sauce from the prawns). Our entrees were just as good as our appetizers. Everyone loved their meals. I had a glass of a montulpciano which complemented the meal quite nicely. The restaurant has a nice wine list. Service was excellent. We clearly will be back before heading home. Too may more things on the menu that we wanted to try. As stuffed as we were, we still had coffee and dessert. The lemon lime cheesecake was light and a perfect way to end the meal. A must have. Their tiramisu was also delicious and light; quite good and I would definitely order it again. This coming from a person not always too fond of tiramisu, but they got this right.
