The downstairs area (Pamelas) was brilliant. Some of the staff probably had better nights and it can get crowded if a lot of people want to go there, but it has a really nice speak easy vibe and the decor was really nice to take it. Good place for a date.

A surprisingly cool bar with an unsuspectingly large second underground bar and lounge called Pamelas. The bar has great cocktails, cool vibes and rad live music. I would highly recommend the "Obligatory" cocktails which were delicious combination of cold brew and tequila.

Really cool venue but bottomless drag brunch needs some improvement. For $90, the food was just ok and tiny portions. Drinks and service was great. Only one song from the drag queen which was a shame :( they need to step it up to make it worth the price!

I've been fortunate to dine at POY on several occasions in the last couple of weeks and it's safe to say this will be now be a venue I frequent often. It's a very modern, well appointed venue with several different areas where you can dine, drink and party with friends. Very extensive drinks menu with some great signature cocktails. The food is spectacular, I can only speak to the current truffle menu and it's definitely something to add to your 'Sydney to-do' list. I look forward to trying more of their food offerings in the coming weeks. I also need to mention the staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive.

Ate here recently with a group of friends and loved the whole experience. The venue is very welcoming with a sophisticated wine bar at the top and proceeds to a multilayered venue with several dining spaces. The restaurant and cellar downstairs is just insane. I did not expect such a huge venue; it's so deceiving. Now to the food; we dined on the truffle shuffle menu and it was so good; there was inhouse focaccia, spinach arancini, burrata with chili that I died in, and wagyu carpaccio all as starters. I could not go past the wagyu, burrata and arancini. Just cooked to absolute perfect and it was great to have such a range of flavours and textures. Now to the mains; I am going to highlight my 2 favourites; the wagyu rib-eye that was truffle salt crusted and the only way to describe it was absolute magic. Secondly; the crab sando with truff hotsauce. Holy sh*t did I just love this. I would return again and again if not just for this sando. Enough raving; loved the meal start to finish.

Went for a bottomless brunch over the weekend. There was over 15 of us and we were treated amazingly. Staff there are fantastic at their job, the drag queen was fabulous in the performance. Drinks were sensation. Just a shame that the aircon was broken downstairs and was over a 30 degree day. Thanks Prince of York :)

I really enjoyed my time at Prince of York Industrial design with modern touches, funky music and low lighting. Very good choice for a nice date. Wine menu has a range of good options, food menu is not very extensive but have very good options. Staff is helpful and very friendly. I'd definitely go again.

Cool new place that will become a lot of things to a lot of people! A nice looking bar on entry, you’ll need to find your way down the stairs to be seated at a cool wall art and exposed bricks kinda set up. Staff are great, food is delicious and the wine list is extensive with something for every level of spend. Make your way down to the third level and enjoy the tunes all while sitting in lux sofas as you sip on way too many drinks. A premium kind of place that rewards those who don’t mind spending with great quality of food, drinks, service and vibe!

The starters were great but the mains weren't as good. We were a little annoyed that when we ordered we asked the waiter if we were ordering too much food and he said no. We couldn't finish it all and when he collected it he made a comment about us ordering a lot, even though that's what he suggested. A little expensive but a nice place for a fancy dinner and drinks.

Great post work venue for drinks and a bite to eat! Staff were super helpful and friendly. Had the Iraqi chicken, tomahawk lamb chops and the chips. All the food was really tasty! Especially the sauce that came with the chicken! Aperol spritz for $10 during the happy hour (4-6pm) was good! Highly recommend it for a social drinks and a place to grab a good meal.

This Sydney CBD bar and restaurant is absolute fire! There is literally four floors of fun to be had here, from the bar on the ground level, the mezzanine for private dinner parties, to the cellar down stairs, also with a nightclub further down with private booths called "Pams" named after one of the owners Mums. I recently had 16 of my foodies friends here for an off the menu truffle experience. 6 courses all with truffles from all of Australia. When all restrictions are lifted, this place is going to blow up in a big way! oh, and all the staff are fabulous. My favourite venue in Sydney right now!

A prime spot for after work or weekend drinks in the city. The atmosphere is great, staff friendly, and cocktails delicious. Best yet, no matter what you're after, a fine meal, a causal drink, or a vibrant lounge, the Prince manages to accommodate all of that without stretching itself thin. Pre dinner drinks in the city. Never been to the Prince of York but will go again. The cocktails were first rate, ask for the Thomas Margarita (personally my favourite margarita!) We were hoping to sit downstairs in the funky lounge but a private function prevented us going down there. Would be great to hire downstairs for a function.

My husband and I held our birthday party here on a Saturday night. Due to our numbers, we had the entire cellar space downstairs and it was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and helpful! All of our guests just kept asking "how'd you find this place?". Everyone raved about the food and I would recommend this as a party venue to everyone! We especially loved the sneaky photo spot downstairs :) Thanks POY you made our night!

My husband and I were lucky enough to catch a Burlesque/Variety show here on Thursday night. Pamela's (downstairs) is an amazing space and the entertainment was fantastic. Great service and drinks. I highly recommend the 'Queen of Arts' cocktail. Divine! 😍

Wow what an amazing experience- great, fresh food and yummy cocktails and mocktails for our non-drinkers. The service was impeccable and the best I've ever had in Sydney. I had my own private wine tasting and my friend who wasn't drinking had her own specially made fruit mocktails. I was so happy definitely will come back again 😊

Chic but relaxed cosy bar and restaurant. Best service we’ve seen in years. Try for a night when Danny is on, super knowledgeable and his custom cocktails are from his obvious worldly hospitality experience. He and his staff made us feel like VIPs with sincerity and charm without being too overly attentive. Obviously the owners value a professional and experienced crew - hard to find these days. Great venue with amazing staff. I booked my 30th birthday here on a wednesday evening.. We had a lovely sit down meal in their private dining space upstairs. The food was really nice and the staff were so accommodating the whole evening and really made it so special. After our meal we booked into the comedy show they hold downstairs and what a great night of entertainment it was. The acts on the evening were fantastic and really got involved with the crowd. I highly recommend this place for a special event or even a date night or night out with friends. I look forward to coming in again soon. Thank you prince of york!!! Jemma xx

I cant complement the team enough. I booked a space at the Pamela Lounge, the underground level of the POY. The experience was flawless in all respects. The reservation staff were very accommodating and hard working. I would like to specifically mention their Jess in that regard. On arrival, everything was organised and the floor staff did not make it one bit difficult for us to run the night the way we wanted to. I am very pleased to have a new go-to venue in the CBD and although my booking was for a work group, I can imagine this place would also make for a successful Tinder date.

Firstly, the food was superb. One of the best steaks I've had in my life. The atmosphere was perfect for a date- moody and on point. The staff were super friendly and non pretentious, and the drinks down stairs at Pamelas were made by experienced staff. Will be coming back.

Superb food and great atmosphere! Went for dinner with friends and loved everything on the menu. Can highly recommend the house made focaccia and octopus for starters or the 'crab in a bag' or Iraqi chicken for mains. Drinks are also well priced for the city where we should have stayed all night in the downstairs bar.

I enjoyed how versatile this place was. I’m not sure if it’s new but no one in our group had heard of it before. Great vibe. Inviting and uplifting atmosphere. We thought the service was good. We had the BEST time at Pamela’s! It was a special night for my girl’s 40th and they gave us a private area complete with podiums to dance on. The tunes were epic, great mix of disco and solid 80s, people were dancing on tables, just a super cool anything goes vibe. Special shout out to the staff and Veronica, we had table service all night and they just calmly navigated their way around our ridiculous dance moves. This will be our regular after party from now on, we need more Sydney bars like this!!

Had a work lunch here last week. One of the best burgers & fries in the city (to qualify – I used to live near Mary’s). The restaurant is cool, the bar is cool, the staff are cool. Looking forward to a big night down in Pamela’s next time.

Decent enough food, good atmosphere, but sadly lacking in service for it's location. We were only a group of 4, albeit on a relatively busy but not full night, but had to ask two or three times for any assistance, and then wait 20+ minutes to actually get any service following that. We had gesture multiple times for the bill, for an extra drink etc and would end up getting up from out table each time to go to the bar and order (despite being in the restaurant). We waited 20+ minutes just to order another drink at one point, despite asking to order as they brought a plate out. I wouldn't rush back.

Had a fabulous girls' night at Prince of York! The lush pink velvet couches, cocktails and DJ were awesome, and big thanks to Katherine (the Relationships Manager) who was a delight to deal from the moment we made our reservation. Looking forward to our next visit!

It's been a long long time since i've walked into a place and felt the buzz of a night life - that, i don't want to leave place. Amazing food, delightful music, welcoming and oozes class. Went for a quick after work drink - left well fed and way too late.

Another bland commercial bar in a good location. Ordered a Negroni, it came PRE-MIX - why do cheapskate bars do this? When you are charging full price for a drink, the expectation is a bartender will take the time to mix the drink, especially when the place is 3/4 empty. Saving grace was the venison tatare - exceptional. Service was neither outstanding or poor - 3 stars overall.
