Loved our visit to this Cafe. We were openly welcomed by all of the staff. And the food was perfecto, reasonably priced, and the Chef himself came out and delivered the meals and had a chat with us. He loves experimenting with herbs and spices on his dishes. He puts a lot of love into each of the meals. I simply loved the decor, a very 50's-60's feel to it, from a dukebox, to the walls covered in iconic Hollywood stars, to an old pump, etc. And if you are lucky, you might just a little tap on the shoulder from an Unseen Resident if you are open to that sort of thing. 😉 Highly recommend you visit this cafe if you are in the Bungendore area.

Such a great place to eat and the coffee is also very good. The staff are really nice and friendly and they even made me an omelette and coffee 12 minutes after the cook had started to clean up, although perhaps they felt sorry for me because I was on a bike and the weather today has been glacial?! That's the fourth omelette I've eaten there and they have all been superb; the food is consistently top notch. They also sell small gifts. The bike is a 1987 Heritage Softail...

Lovely atmosphere and staff. The most brilliant hotdog (actually a chilli dog) I've ever had! So full of flavour and every part of it was made in-house too. Even the chips that came with it tested fresh. The oil they used was fresh and not old. I'm going back.

What an awesome experience! We were down from QLD visiting family in Canberra, and came out to Bungendore for some lunch. I meant to take photos of our food but it was all so tasty I forgot until the plates were empty! The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, we felt like family. Our dog was also doted over which he loved, would definitely recommend.

We stopped in on our way thoght from Batemans Bay going to Wagga. Stopped for a hot chocolate and couldn't pass on the Apple Pie. Both were excellent as was the service. Worth the stop. Thank you

This place is a well-thought-out step back into the past with fascinating musical memorabilia adorning the walls. The staff are warm and helpful and the food is great. They feature live music on Sunday at lunch time did drop in on the way to the coast and have a meal and music.

Wonderful staff, delicious food, great tea selection. I came here early morning after a balloon flight in Canberra was cancelled due to fog, and the amazing staff sat us right by the fire and gave us hot tea. 10/10, would recommend. Also, love the music.

We attended a private dinner at R & Rs for the opening of the Southern Harvest Festival on Friday the 16th.The chef created delicious food from local produce and the atmosphere was casual and cozy. The Monica Moore Duo provided delightful background music for the evening: great singing and guitar playing. Well done everyone involved in putting on this event.

Open and available to serve a sit down lunch meal on a Thursday, unlike other places in Bungendore. Only wanted an iced coffee which was cold, tasty and met our expectations. Friendly, courteous staff ensured that our visit encouraged a return next time we venture to Bungendore.

Stopped at this quaint & cosy diner this morning & was not disappointed. Greeted by friendly staff, great coffee & hot chocolate & I must say carrot cake is a must. 15yr old wasn’t disappointed by her bacon & egg roll either. Will definitely stop in again next time I’m in the area😀.

Lovely owner and friendly staff. Basic meals (not much flavour), but you get a decent portion size. Tad pricy, but ok for the size. Definitely need gravy on the menu!

We LOVE this diner. Friendly staff and have never had a bad meal (love the zuchini fritters!). It's not pretentious "butter on pebble, mains on a shovel" rubbish but well prepared and delicious. The decor is not naff, it's atmospheric and homey. Parking is easy and prices are very reasonable.

Great value for steak meal! Although tasty, the carrot and haloumi fritters were disappointing as they were small and flat and seemed to be reheated in the microwave causing one to harden. The staff member could have been more welcoming as our questions were replied rather rudely.

The best coffee in Bungendore with such friendly staff. The lovely lady who served me could not be any more helpful! She asked if I was traveling and did I want to sip on it for a while - offering to make it slightly hotter to last me linger (I ordered a tall). She told me to have a few sips for a minute and enjoy, and she would top it back up for me! It was great and I finished it (still warm) as I arrived in Braidwood. Thank you!

Attentive staff with great food. We sat outside in the sunny courtyard on a chilly winters morning. I had the big breakfast and it was cooked to order. The coffee was good too! Well worth the visit!
