The place is located in a premium location.
Staff and service are are spot on, very friendly, polite, professional and helpful.
The menu is not overwhelming which is great in my opinion.
We had garlic bread and halomy for starters both great except I hate when I get the back or start of the bread loaf but it's okay.
We had the grilled barramundi, was very nice, I would've prefer if it had a lemon on the side.
Drinks are good, and it's very reasonably priced
A. O.
Started with the garlic prawns, which were great. We had the baked salmon and the New York steak (rare). Both were delicious. Service was great too. Plus a great view of the harbour!
It’s on the expensive side if you’re travelling from the suburbs, but that’s what dining in circular quay is like 🤷♂️

Located on Opera Quays this restaurant has stunning views of the amazing Sydney Harbour. Inside or outside options of dining although if sitting outside - be careful of the annoying seagulls who will flap right in and take your food off your plate.
The food was delicious and fresh and the service was fantastic. Great menu of seafood or grilled meat.
J. D.
Partner and I went here for Valentines Day Dinner - service was a little slow. Took a little while for the staff to get our orders. Food was nice (recommend the Moreton Bay Bugs & Oysters), though the price is way too overpriced for the serving size. Also, the mains which we ordered, in particular, the Scotch Fillet didn’t even have a choice of sides. It was disappointing to have to pay extra for a side of chips!!!!

Absolutely divine 💕
Located in a great spot with magnificent views of the harbour.
Menu options are extensive with chosen options beautifully presented and full of flavour. Prices are reasonable and the service was faultless.
Fantastic night all round. Highly recommend ⭐️

I have visited here twice during my trip. The food was not bad, but the lychee cocktail was so great. One of the staff with curly long brown hair recommended this cocktail. She was very nice everytime I visit here. Overall, I would love to visit here again next time!
E. K.
Amazing harbour views and great atmosphere. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the red wine jus was one of the best I've had. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
E. B.
Pretty nice place but the view was magnificent (outdoors tables). I hear that the lobster was good, however, it was not, it was incredible and the mix of flavours just make a dancing in your mouth. Price it is a little bit high but you get satisfied once you tried it.
J. H.
Great location. Good food. Fabulous cocktails.
The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive.
We had steaks with Asian greens and jacket potatoes. The food was delicious and well presented.
B. M.
Great food and wonderful service with beautiful views of Sydney harbour, just keep an eye out for the pesky seagulls who will grab a chip while your not looking😂😂
G. A.
Loved it. The staff are superb, attentive, and engaging, and the seafood was incredible.
We had the platter, which was loaded out with beautifully prepared oysters, blue swimmers, bugs, lobsters, prawns, scallops, and was great value for money.
We could have sat outside, watching the world go by, but on a cold, wet Sunday afternoon, we chose to sit inside, and the provision of huge mirrors allow all occupants to enjoy the wonderful external views.
What's not to love right? Cold beer and wine, a huge mound of seafood, and Sydney harbour views, all at a very fair price.
Great with a loved one, better with all your friends.
K. H.
Lovely dinner. And lovely service while looking out over the harbour bridge.
Entree prawns a little over cooked, but barramundi was amazing!!!
T. B.
We had an amazing waitress! The bar staff were overwhelmed with sizeable delays for drinks. Table of 6 who mostly ordered quite nice steaks. I shared the indulgence seafood platter that was very average. The lobster was far from fresh, prawns were the same, the oysters were good.

Been passing by in this place multiple times when we go to the opera house and at last today me, mum and my partner decided to try this restaurant.
We went in here during lunch time and they have a lunch special menu which was great.
We tried what is in the lunch special menu.
We ordered kilpatrick oyster, medium rare steak and chips, and fish and chips.
I can say that the steak is tender and you do not need to dip it in the sauce as it taste amazing already. I can say that it was worth it.
We consumed every inch of the steaks.
My mum had battered fish and chips and it was nice.
Staff:
Staff are kind and the best thing they don’t ask you if how was everything, which i find annoying . I like the staff and they keep an eye when to refill the water.
The venue is perfect as it is in the Opera house and you can see the Harbour bridge.
The price is right knowing that it is located in an expensive place.
Highly recommended.
S. B.
The steak here is amazing. Had the eye fillet with red wine jus. It melted in the mouth. The super crispy chips and Asian greens were delicious sides. The service here is excellent and friendly. Views are spectacular but inside is nice too.
M. E.
Seafood are fresh and nice and yummy. Good customer service as well. Near Sydney’s Opera House
N. D.
Lovely restaurant! Great food and great service. I had the chicken burger, the steaks looked perfectly cooked to your choice. The main attraction are views. They are spectacular. Very sad to see alot of places closed down around the Wharf 😞 but this place is still open!
C. L.
My daughters and I had dinner Sunday evening. The lights in the restaurant were too dimly lit, I was unable to read the menu so i used my phone torch 😂.The photos show up nicely though. The food was delicious, i had the Garlic Prawns, my girls had a large BBQ Ribs and Chicken burger with fries. Thank you Searock for a lovely evening!
C. C.
Five star experience here while over looking the Sydney harbour bridge. Food and drinks fabulous. Micheal the waiter was very welcoming to both us and our dog. Our dog was treated with a full VIP experience which he enjoyed. Highly recommend 😁
P. W.
Couple dinner last night and took a table inside to avoid the large number of families that were outside. Location great food excellent but it was just let down by the noise even inside. Price was upmarket but overall felt that needed to lift a gear or two on the ambience. Heaps of potential staff a bit here and there. Taking a table inside the bar you get to see a lot!!!
K. F.
My girlfriend and I had the best burgers imaginable at the Searock Grill. We were in the area to attend the open-air performance of the Phantom Of The Opera. We got double lucky and walked in at their happy-hour. So we had the very best burgers imaginable for little more than a Junk-meal. As dear old Arnold said, 'I'll be back'
C. A.
Nice place to enjoy lite nite in Sydney... Of course they have kind of menu with hype taste! -- recommended for Kanggoro
L. R.
Touring from America, and a friend recommend Searock. Absolute wonderful dining experience! The team is incredible, the customer service is superb, and the food & cocktails were delightful. Definitely check it out if your looking for a place to eat! The view makes it even better!
L. M.
Disappointing experience. They were very busy, which is great to see, but they seemed to struggle to keep up with the demand. My steak was lovely, but my husband's was over cooked, they brought the wrong sauce and it took 3 goes to get the right one. Great location, but I don't think we will be back.
m. g.
Located at East Circular Quay. Food was fab and the service was excellent! Menu is good - quite extensive with various seafood and steak options, etc. We had crab for starters and steak (scotch fillet) for main - both delicious! Thanks so much and would recommend to others.

Walking past here on our way to a wedding, sweating like hell on a hot 30° Friday Feb 18th 2022, dressed in a suit, when the maítre ḏ, Michael, who must be a mind reader said, “come and take a seat in the shade and have a cold drink. I have a cool table just here…” it was absolute bliss. Very fast service for my wife and I. We had a couple of drinks, there was no pressure to hurry and leave or order food, and Michael even had a great story or two to tell us as a bit of light entertainment. A very random experience but we look forward to returning and having a meal very soon. We saw someone eating prawns and lobster and it looked incredible. Thanks Michael!!
R. H.
Even though it was raining and we could not sit under the umbrellas, we really enjoyed sitting here and watching the people walk by and watch the boats and ferries come and go. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Prices were also appealing and the food was really good.
M. g. S.
We attended a surprise birthday party on Saturday evening in the Searock Wine Room ! Fantastic, with courteous welcoming wait staff.
The party organiser remarked to us how good the booking process was and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was top notch as always, with beautiful wines to match.
This truly is a leading restaurant at the Quay. Book a table, or private function room, you won’t be disappointed!
Searock ....... you Rock!
D. F.
Exceptional staff and even better food! 10/10 recommend. The staff really drew us in and we just wanted to stay there for the atmosphere brought to us by the staff . Will be going back asap
S. G.
Great Food!
Great Service!
Friendly Environment!
Food here was great. We went in for lunch and very friendly team member served us on time. We were served with water and food very quickly. 3 different lunch item were enough to keep us busy. Staff came couple times to check and asked for feedback at the end. Very reasonable price.
Will definitely go back again.
J. &. C.
We decided to stop here for lunch along the way. We were killing some time before our flight back home and wanted some fish and chips. We were expecting the usual batter-ey fish that we would regret after, however the fish was incredible. Lighly battered and so meaty. Hard to come across. The service was great start to finish and the restaurant manager Michael took particular interest in our little daughter and provided her with colouring pencils and paper.
And after our lunch he surprised her with a little cup of icecream with choccy sauce which is her favourtie. Its businesses like these that go above and beyond to make their customers full of good food and happy with their service. Thanks so much. Wish you all the best. Ps. What a kickarse view!!
Z. N.
This was a wonderful dinner. Best battered fish n chips I’ve had in a long time. Lots of seating area. Ambiance is great.will surely visit again.
N. A.
Fantastic in every way ! Sensational food, wonderful service and wow in terms of location. The location is overlooking the harbour and harbour bridge - so a great start. And the food matches it - stunning !
Great tasting entrees - we shared three entrees - pulled pork croquettes (fried slow roasted pork croquettes with spicy mayo); salt & pepper calamari (main size) served with herb mayo, rocket, chilli & lemon; and Crab & prawn bites with seeded sourdough, avocado. All delicious.
For our mains, everyone had their own - I had the eye fillet steak 220g (pinnacle grass fed beef, Tassie), cooked perfectly as "medium" and with a yummy bearnaise sauce - which was the best I've ever had ! My colleagues had the seafood curry (mixed prawns, mussels, calamari and fish in a red Thai curry & jasmine rice); Grilled Barramundi fillet served with potato, asparagus, rocket, garnished with pickled ginger; baked salmon marinated in coconut cream & chilli jam, baked in banana leaf
served with Asian greens. Everyone loved their mains - and we ordered super crunchy fries to share; mixed salad and Asian greens.
Desserts were also good - apple & berry crumble; homemade citrus tart and affogato.
Service was wonderful - friendly, attentive and professional.
C. h.
Great location. Fast service even with a full house
N. P.
The service was absolutely top notch,so were the cocktails. But the food left a lot to be desired. The view is top notch if you get one of the tables outside
J.
Delicious, would go back again, service was great and overall worth the visit.
L. C.
Fantastic service and great options on the menu!
My husband, small dog and myself were greeted by friendly staff along with water for my dog.
Highly recommended and we will be back!
J. T.
Lunchtime, view of the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, ferries, the harbour, Park Hyatt, the former Doyle's and sunshine ... excellent company.
Just can't go wrong, $21.00 Fish and Chips, $25.00 Rump Steak ... Chardonnay sparkling $14.00 and Majella Cab Sav.
That's just awesomeness in any language!
J. P.
My friends and I stumbled upon Searock Grill as we were walking around. As soon as we walked up the staff was super nice and seated us.
Our waiter was nice as well. I ordered the burger with shrimp on it (as weird as that sounds) but it was delicious.
Drinks were great too.
My friends and I thought the seagull disclaimer about protecting your food if you sit outside on the menu was hilarious. The bathroom is a lil walk.
We enjoyed it.
A. H.
Location amazing. Service second to none, and the food......well the food is incredible. One of those places where you talk about the food for months afterwards.
Been here before, and been coming back for years. Will be back for years to come. This place creates memories. 🙏
D.
Wonderful NYE celebration. Wonderful friendly service and fantastic food in a very good location to watch the harbour NYE fireworks.
We just enjoyed the best food and the best service
from the great team at the Searock Grill. The 5 course meal was delicious and all courses were complemented by fine wines. The wagyu steak main course just melted in your mouth and the alternative seafood platter was simply beautiful.
A wonderful evening with so many wonderful staff memories
J. R.
Very reasonably priced considering the location. The food is good with a great menu. Amazing place to eat and people watch. Good range of drinks. The best thing is the amazing staff. Super friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
G. M.
Searock Grill on Opera Plaza was a fabulous location on a balmy Easter Sunday evening with a relaxing holiday vibe and excellent service.
This evening's selection included 1/2 dozen oysters Kilpatrick, followed by the 400g Rib eye (on the bone) medium rare, lobster tail and a side of Asian greens.
S. F.
Ordered Fish and chips. Was too good.❣The food and staff all good. At first I thought it won't be enough for one. But trust me, I couldn't finish all in one go😝🙊
I usually do single seat dine in as I go alone and people on the check in make face coz they want more people to occupy, but they were quite friendly. 👍
Z. D.
Perfect views of Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge. Plenty of nice outdoor seating tables. Good menu to choose from, including lunch specials. Variety of drinks available as well. Their chicken garden salad is very nice and served fresh. Their steak rump and chips are good as well and cooked perfectly medium as requested. Staff are nice and friendly with good customer service.
z. g.
Our steaks were perfectly cooked, a beautiful medium rare. We also had grilled haloumi cheese, sweet potato wedges and asian greens which were ok. The staff is nice.
D. B.
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the fish and chips. They have a fixed price menu as well as a regular menu. The prices were reasonable and the portions where large on the fixed price lunch menu. They offer indoor and outdoor seating with nice views! The service was friendly and fast.
M. R.
A little issue having the waitress putting 2 tables together outside to accommodate 4 persons. The overall taste of the different dishes we ordered were nice. Had a selection of the startes, all very nice and and well presented. As main 2 of us had the Ribeye on the bone 400 gr. I doubt any of us had a steak of 400 gr. When asking for additional bearnaise sauce, we were told, that it would come with a price, so we skipped it. The fries we nothing special. Otherwise the staff was friendly and brought us blankets in addition to the heaters outside.
a. z.
was tasty although it did taste like the seafood was not prepared fresh rather maybe had been in the fridge since the day before, nice wine and view of course and we enjoyed ourselves..so all round 4 stars (3 for the food)
A. I.
Went for dinner, had the garlic prawns and barramundi fillet, was absolutely to die for, kept saying to the lovely waitress Layla complements to the chef, the service from Layla was fantastic and decent price for the quality of the food, must try for Sydney
S. S.
Beautiful location. Many options between $15-25 on the menu. They also have table service. Food was average, nothing special.
J. L.
Food was great and service from Washington was extremely well performed with a smile. The Happy Hour was really good for some items which suited us perfectly .
The position of this resturant is top plenty of things going on in circular key to keep you entertained between dishes. Will definitely be back.
C. G.
Matt and his team helped me organize a lovely end-of-year celebration at their private room. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Everyone from our company was thrilled with everything. Matt was accommodating from the beginning and made feel everyone welcome. Thank you for everything.
M. S. K.
1/2 priced oysters, burgers, and fish&chips plus house beers and wine ($25 per bottle) and $10 selected cocktails during the happy hour. Staff were friendly and helpful. My friend loves Circular Quay area so it was a perfect afternoon catch up spot.
S. P.
Went for New Years Eve dinner for the second year & it was awesome. Food was fantastic, service & staff was awesome. Thank you Matt & Michael for a great time!
J. J.
Dinner was phenomenal! I lived on the coast years ago but the prawns in the seafood banquet were the best I’ve ever had. Service was genuinely amazing. Recommendations are the lychee cocktail, prawns, bugs, lobster, chips, scollops, muscles! 10/10
K. G.
Great views and friendly staff. Calamari was the best and tasted yummy.. Seagulls distracts you if you are sitting outside, and staff offered to help sit inside. But you miss the view then. Overall experience was nice
F. C.
The specials were great. Would highly recommend their seafood dishes as they do them so well. We had a shellfish risotto that was exquisite. Tuna tartar is a must have too. The lamb came with a side of egg plant that was just mouth watering. Everything was well presented and tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this, but make sure to set aside $300 as a budget for a dinner for two at the very least! It is very nice.
A. Z.
Absolutely superb dinner! Great starter, main, and pudding. Brilliant service from Victoria. You have to try this.
A. S.
Steak was amazing! Cooked perfectly. Beautiful location, great staff. Great wine choices.
M. C.
Vege burger is delicious with thick slice of chess and the fries are very crunchy. Steak and fries is also good. We finished everything.
T. C.
Great location with lovely lunch options!
A simple menu for lunch with variety of expected staples.
Would happily stop here again..
Kids menu is also lovely

We stopped her for happy hour. The tap beer was fnie as well as the leeches cocktail. The service was rather slow and not welcoming, more like i am doing my job. The prices are ok for happy hour but normally they are too high. We sat ok and the terras was well occopied.
N. K.
Delicious food, excellent location, great service and charming staff that will make you feel welcome and respected.
B. M.
I love this place...
Lovley hostess...
Fast food service even in rush lunch hour...
The food was tasty...
Finally friendly staff who's took the order and helped us quickly...
I recommend everyone to go there....
G. Y.
Food & view were nice! Service could be better though so that the experience could be 5 stars - I understand they're busy, but doesn't mean they can be rude.
S. H.
Great food, even better service, everyone was nice a chatty and a overall great atmosphere. Plus the owner is seriously cool
A. S.
Good food. Average seating area especially indoor. We were a group of many so probably that’s why we couldn’t easily settle in. Had numerous steaks and burgers. Service is good.
Thank you so much for having us. See you soon
Amazing location i must say. Especially if you get to sit outside.
t. c.
Very nice food and really friendly service. We enjoyed!
B. M.
Lacklustre. Great views but less than in point service, slow delivery and mistakes. Food was ok, but for the price it was no better than 'meh'
S. o. G.
Cool spot for some food and drinks overlooking Sydney Harbour. But watch out for overconfident seagulls who are always on the look out to dive down and steal your chips!
A. C.
One of the staff finally realize we were using the bowl instead of plate. Good initiative and observant. Nice dessert too.
S. F.
Came here late at night looking for seafood calamari was over cooked which they replaced. Completely missed the Morton Bay Bugs on the seafood platter which needed to be replaced. Received a complimentary bottle of wine as a gesture for the trouble. Waitress made up for the trouble with her friendliness. In an excellent location pity that they messed up with the order.
M. C.
Great service. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is a bit average for the price.
M. S.
I went with a group of about 25 people and we ordered of the menu. The food was very nice. I had a medium Scotch Fillet. The food took a little while to be served though but given the kitchen had to prepare 25 meals all at once that was understandable. I thought the price of drinks was a bit high though but given they are right on Circular Quay near the Opera House their overheads may be quite high
C. K.
Great Location, service was excellent from Jasmine😊 Food was good, although I sent my steak back as it was too rare for me to eat. And the mushroom sauce was cold. My meal was fixed up very fast. Enjoyed our meals, but watch out for the Seagulls outside. The seagulls will swoop in to steal your meal. So maybe we will eat inside, next time.
a. n.
Salmon is small, taste is mediocre and overpriced, oyster was good but at aud 4. Medium well steak has burned taste.
I. N.
Got to give it to it, was pretty good, had the steak med-well, the meat was perfect, wife had the Thai sea food curry, which was full of fresh seafood.
A bit pricey, but worth the view and service, very professional.
Did reservation, asked to be next to a heater, that was meet. Thank you for making the evening a good one!
R. F.
I just popped in for a drink, location is pretty good, staff really nice, service quite slow though which was a shame and the main reason for 3 rather than 4 stars. Food menu looked pretty good and if I hadn't had dinner plans I would have stayed to eat.
A. Y.
Great food - agree it is a little pricey but the restaurants by the water used to have terrible food, so I guess it's a step in the right direction (and I assume the rent is exorbitant).
The staff were very helpful dealing with our post conference luggage and were very attentive all night
J. T.
Great view. Food was reasonable but they were out of oysters when we visited.
O. T.
This place is amazing. The the seafood platter was great. Matt is a great server !
E. N.
The most delicious pork ribs I've had in many years. The kid's chicken tenders were dry and not very nice, but there was enough fish on the main serving of fish and chips to keep a hungry little boy happy.
All in all a good spot with 3 out of 4 meals very good.
A. S.
I went to this place to celebrate my friend's bday. Though it is very expensive option but it outweight by the quality of food and professional staff.
Strongly recommend.
W. L.
Outstanding service! We had 2 functions at Searock in the past 2 months and were so impressed. I could not fault the service or food that we received. Head waitress on both occassions Jazzi was fantastic. Beautiful spirit and great at the task on hand. They were so accommodating of any and all requests including catering for multiple allergies and intolerances. Every meal was perfect!! Price point is great, especially given the amazing location right on our beautiful harbour. Would highly recommend Searock for your next function.
O. S.
Service was great overall experience was lovely although the quality of meat was less then our party expected for the price.
E. L. (.
Delicious lychee cocktail and great prawns and oysters. The only part that lacked luster was the crab. But the staff were wonderful
P. T.
Food is average and service hit and miss. Definitely only come here for the view.
A. T.
Really chill and quiet place, but excellent food. I had the Quays to my Heart drink, and it was fabulous.
A. C.
Really nice staff, and good quality lunch meals for a great price. Would definitely visit again!
R. H.
Food tasty and we'll presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Good view.
C. R.
Great steak and seafood. A nice way to spend Sunday lunch
M. N.
We really enjoyed our time here and the quality of the food. The decor is also nice and right after you can go for a walk around the Opera House. Highly recommended for a day out in the city.
W. 7.
Food was very tasty and quick service even for a Mothers day
V. E.
The food is really delicious and well spiced. Plus the view of is calming
V. G.
Seafood platter was $95, could've had more more food elsewhere for that food... But the scenery... Maybe not. Nothing spectacular about the food, just good times with a loved one.
C. S. K.
Pretty good Fish and Chips, excellent spot for people watching and soaking in the atmosphere. Service was pretty good.
R. M.
Amazing service! Matt...great server! Seagulls were a bonus!
S. K.
Right in the Sydney Harbour, Searock Grill has a great selection of Seafood, Steak and casual modern cuisine. Kangaroo burger is a speciality find and the cocktails are just as delicious as they are appealing. Worth a visit when you're in the area.
Y. L.
Food was great. The seagull stole a prawn head and the show....
K. R.
We had lunch here one day and came back for dinner the next night. Really lovely food, excellent presentation and fabulous cocktails. Friendly staff and lovely setting overlooking the harbour. Highly recommend.
f. s.
Yes, 3.7, a little dry. I like a proper bowl of salad. A few leaves of green with fish & chips is not enough, I also like a sauce. Is not generous at all. It is OK but no way like when I cook at home tasty food.

Beautiful view
Friendly staff & manager
Amazing food !!!
P. O.
Great location, happy hour 3 till 5pm weekdays. Great views of circular quay.
Polite a friendly Staff.
A. C.
Great views, great service and the food was amazing!
I. P.
A must try in Sydney !! Right by Circular Quay with great views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We ordered oysters, steak, burgers, barramundi and nothing disappointed. Most of all the service was great - Kai was great and we will be back for more :)
W. W.
The steaks and sea food platter are sumptuous and very satiating. The Tempranillo goes well with the steaks. The view is wonderful
S. M.
Fantastic view and has an under $20 lunch menu for Mon-Friday.
S. T.
Amazing food. Beautiful atmosphere highly recommend.
M. D.
Excellent happy hour
We were there at 4 and enjoyed drinks and a meal during happy hour. It was pleasant surprise to have so many options for happy hours.
Neighboring tables had issues with scavenging birds. Luckily we did not. But if you like to eat very slowly it are with kids maybe consider sitting inside .
The service was much better than average and despite a busy happy hour we were well attended to. A mistake on the bill was quickly fixed.
J. A.
You need to book. We got in but it soon filled up. Small fish portion, delicious, partner got plenty of food with his burger and chips. Very expensive, you pay for the view
R. M.
Perfect location with cosy ambience. It was the first Australian restaurant that I tried out and the kangaroos buger was exquisite. The staff were accomodating and speedy.
F. H.
Went there on a whim, location is killer for sure. Easy to get seated and was promptly served water. Ordered and food took a reasonable amount of time to be cooked. Fish and chips were on point. The leaf salad was bitter, but the citrus flavor was balanced out with the tomato and feta. I was pretty impressed so I ordered the Crumble and was not let down. Overall experience was top notch. Will be coming back on my next trip. Thanks for such a wonderful time.
C. N. D.
Nice location, easy parking and friendly staff. My companions really enjoyed the seafood but my steak was mediocre at best, fries were dripping in oil and garlic bread was 100% over buttered to the point of making it hard to eat.
i. b.
Very very nice,. Had seafood platter to share with mum, heaps of food.
F. D.
I expected a tourist trap and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh fish and great service
J. H.
Nice place for oysters. But somehow we got the dishes mixed up and we got twice the oysters we ordered. But they were nice and well cooked. Some plain and some with bacon and Worcestershire sauce. All xnt. Average beer prices. Nice waterfront location. Back from the Opera House frantic pace. A more relaxed setting.
R. F.
Food was great drinks and service as well
A. C.
Delicious happy hour dinner before 5pm, friendly service.
L.
Food was good. Customer service ok.

Great view near the Opera House and good food. My wife ordered the fish and chips. It was so good! Stick to fish here because I ordered a chicken burger and it was just ok.
K. N.
Food incredible. We were serviced by a delicious little number, Matt. Would recommend 100%, all package view amazing, service incredible and food was lit AF awesome experience
D. T.
Great place to go hang out at sunset. Not only do they have the best views in Sydney, but they also have happy hour :)
The staff are some of the most lovely and attentive I’ve experienced in a long time!
R. P.
Great atmosphere great food great view
S. S.
Grilled chicken burger was on point. The Scotch fillet melts in your mouth. Our service was fantastic. Recommended for a quick bite.
V. S.
It is very good location, BUT the food and staff services are same as I expected. $110 seafood platter was big over priced. Outside seats are pretty cheap that u could find semi take away shop... I wouldn't go there again for seafood. Could be good for glass of beer or wine to chill out.
m. l.
Very kind staffs and nice foods.
H. G.
Food was great but took forever to come
B. H.
Our group ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was happy with their meal. Our only issue was with timing as it was rather difficult to get the bill at the end of our meal. Had to ask three times.
However this restaurant is in a great location near the harbour with views of the city and Harbour bridge so good for taking overseas visitors for a special meal.
Cheers
I. w.
Great spot with a good view on the Sydney harbour bridge. The food is good and we ate a nice steak here. However, after the main course the staff seemed to forget about us and did not offer us any dessert or asked us for another drink. Overall experience is fine.
P. Q.
Great drink. Great view and mouth melting chips. ❤
E. F.
Although it took a while to get someone to notice we were awaiting at the table once this happened the service was fast and agile. The steaks were cook as per request, the beer of the month and the merlot of the house a bit lack of taste. Good environment, quite pricey but I guess it is because of the location.
M. Q.
Quite nice. Right on the waterfront with a view of the bridge.
Can see the Opera House if you walk a hundred metres up.
Food was excellent.
Would return.
p. t.
Great steak, great view, but too pricy.
D. P.
Lovely location and staff were friendly. Great breakfast menu. Their hotcakes were fluffy and generous. The hot breakky I ordered wasn't hot enough though. I think it was left on the counter as they seemed busy. It was still enjoyable to eat.
S. N.
Loved the portion size on the grilled chicken salad.. the garlic bread was phenomenal.. Quick service. Value for money. Wish they had more vegetarian options
b. S.
I'll start with the reason as to why this is a 3 star review pushing it... the service was atrocious! My partner and myself arrived at the outside seating area waiting to be welcomed by the staff which did not happen, unfortunately we were completely ignored by not 1 but 4 staff members which were too worried about what was happening with the lunar New year celebrations. If it wasn't for one Waiter Matt for welcoming us to this venue it would of been a 1 star review with no positives. Matt not only welcomes us into the restaurant he took our order and did everything for us where the other staff members all completely ignored us .. even when we asked for the bill they didn't even get it even though the sign at the register states that you pay at the table..
Now for the positives, the food was amazing we ordered the new york steak (medium) and was cooked perfectly and the lamb backstrap which was also cooked perfectly. But unfortunately the service received from all others besides Matt was too bad to overcome and unfortunately unless things change I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant.
J. B.
Searock grill was delicious. The chicken burger is phenomenal and even better if you add a hash brown. The fries and homemade ketchup and aioli were also scrumptious. The view is the only thing that could take this place to the next level and it sure does.
A. B.
Great view , perfect service . Lunch menu is full of perfectly cooked sensibly priced food . Steaks cooked to perfection, light and freshly made sauces, fish and chips golden and fresh out of clean oil . Kids menu a winner too 😎🙏🏻✌🏽✌🏽Still getting my head around $12 beers though ❤️
A. D.
This place was a really agreeable surprise. We were a party of six and we have the special s they have for lunch. The hamburger 🍔 were delicious the fish and ships amazing and the service was excellent. Everything a very affordable price
E.
Decent tourist type restaurant located at Circular Quay on the opera house side of the harbour. Nice Harbour views and people watching. Pleasant staff. Service is reasonable. Prices are average for the location. Food quality is average at best but you are paying for the location.
D. L.
Fantastic food. Never disappoints. Good customer service. Waiters were very friendly. Even on a very busy cold night we asked to be inside and were a accommodated. Sure we didn’t get habour views but without a booking you can’t expect that.
We have come several times and love the lobster.
Many negative reviewers criticise the pricing. You can’t get a $10 steak in circular quay people. What do you think the real estate is worth. Your paying for the location as well as food and service.
We will be back with many a friend and will not complain about the price.
A. L.
As part of an Opera Australia package I choose Searock as it had a more extensive menu than the other two options; on arrival drinkers were quickly served and orders taken. My lamb backstrap was very delicious and cooked to perfection and my dining companion had the seafood curry which was also very, very good. We were out in plenty of time to walk to the Opera House for an amazing rendition of Don Giovanni.
V. G.
Wonderful setting on the harbour. Good food friendly service recommend the fish of the day
L. D.
Great food, beautiful location and excellent service. Thankyou to all of the Searock staff for a great night
S. C.
Great food. We had pork rib. It was so good. My son had toomuch. Great location. And very friendly staff.
Really recommended.
S. S.
Decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here because they had oysters. Had the Searock Platter for $99, which included crabs, prawns, moreton bay bugs, mussels and of course, oysters. Also came with fries and salad. Service was good and with a smile. Food came relatively fast. Ambience was good, especially since it was a Tuesday night, so pretty quiet, just the way we like it. I thought the seafood could have been fresher. We're fans of seafood, and that's probably why we're very sensitive to the quality and can detect unfreshness. I wouldn't say the seafood was bad, I'm just saying that it could have been fresher. All in all, an above average experience.
K. C.
Fancy restaurant by the opera house! We tried almost everything on the menu the seafood with curry is exquisite...and that Kangaroo fantastic! It was the first time I try it...have it medium rare...it will not be rare.. it's just that if you get it well done is harder to chew! All the appetizer were tasty and my drink with the edible flower was perfect 👌
K. Y.
The best customer service from Gleidy! She is so attentive and caring. She made our experience at Searock Grill memorable. Food and the view was great too.
S. A.
Food of high quality. Excellent service. Pricey but still value for money
H. B.
Excellent spot to sit and eat and watch the sunset. Couldn't recommend enough. The gulls weren't too bad on the land side. Expected prices for waterfront Sydney by the opera.
Beer batter fish and chips were incredible, and the raspberry lime mojito made a great pairing.
Right by the train depot for easy city access. Accessible outdoor seating if by the boundary, no accessible bathroom.
M. D.
The bottom line is that it's pretty pricy here. We ate here because we were going to a show at the Opera House so it was worth the price premium for the convenience of having only a five-minute walk to our destination after eating. That said - the place was nearly full when we got there and the service was initially a little slow. But once we ordered the food came fairly quickly. All of us enjoyed our meals. The menu is pretty standard Western cafe fare and is tasty with decent servings - no haute cuisine here. Given the location, view, food and service it was a good choice for the occasion - but not somewhere I would go more than once or twice a year.
T. G.
Service was good and the fish was nice. However, the sides with our mains were really undesirable. My meal came with 3 measly over cooked pieces of broccolini and the side salad was all lettuce and two pieces of tomato.
R. D.
Everything was delicious! We had the seafood Thai red curry, grilled tiger prawns, pulled-pork croquettes and the oysters. Fresh fresh fresh seafood. Big portions. View of the bridge and excellent wait staff topped it off for a memorable sunset dinner.
N. C.
Great meat and finally someone that knows how to cook it as ordered. I ordered 'rare' afraid of receiving it 'medium well' as always in Sydney. This time it did come rare and it was perfect. Really good and great service.
S. P.
The steak I ordered was perfect and the pepper sauce accompanying it was very good but the presentation 😕
M.
Food is amazing, reasonably priced and outstanding service.
F. P.
Very popular which means it may be hard to flag down service. Servings are reasonable size, don’t expect pub sizes.
We had issues where our drinks arrived after we finished our meal, even with multiple prompts.
N. V.
There are lots of people around, there is only one cafe which is very famous that is close to the station is very packed at the moment.
This particular restaurant is very empty and the service is extremely bad, perhaps this restaurant is only used for just regular customers or corporate types dining in but...in light of the current focus on Job Keeper payments.... instead of giving the money away to the rich cats, this restaurant should be shared out, breakfast service until 12pm and then fine dining throughout the day.
I liked how well dressed everyone i.e waitress is at the moment however it is such a shame that not much effort is made for customers or regular Sydneysiders to enjoy such a beautiful worldwide icon which is Circular Quay.
I’m very proud to be living in Sydney for a long time. I moved back after a few years of living in Sydney a long time ago however I missed it so much after I become a mother that I convinced my nucleus family at that time, Karthigeyan Pathman my only son and my then ex husband to relocate to Sydney.
If you see walking around alone, it doesn’t mean I get confused easily or I’m lost, I know my way around Sydney very well, I just have a small circle of friends.
I am a very private person but I have mates all over Australia who might not necessarily be from Sydney or even Australia and my mates have been taking all kinds of measures to protect me and I have been also doing the same but be rest assured that I am highly independent and I am safe and sound.🇦🇺☕️👩🏾💻
L. C.
Great food and variety, great cocktails, staff were friendly however after our initial drink and food order never came back.
C. C.
Always a pleasure to visit for a happy hour wine or a delicious meal. The seafood platter is extravagant and so fresh. Best views in the city 😁👍
C. T.
The view is fantastic and the staff/service is really great but unfortunately the food itself is pretty average. Dining here was more for the views and the atmosphere.
S. L.
On a very windy and cold day the service here was good with staff contributing to a happy outing with pleasant upbeat interactions. We all agreed the food was five star
A. M.
Amazing place to enjoy sea food! Took approximately 40 minutes to serve the food but the wait was worth it. The feisty chook chicken burger was delicious. The Tiger prawns and calamari were beautifully cooked and were yummy. Overall, it serves scrumptious food!
L. E.
Visiting from LA food was great view excellent. Restrooms needs a little attention . Portions are decent .Try oysters they are really good ,Needs more variety of beers. Try canguro burger while visiting. Good happy hours specials.
V. S.
Sea rock is a bit uppity but food is good. If your playful and want to have fun with the birds don't go there the staff gets stern faces and they lose their smile. We sat outdoors and found the seagulls to be very interesting. I know it's not great to feed the animals but I don't eat fries so I let them have a few. Fun to watch them scramble for fried potato. Not fun to see the look on the fat servers face.
B. K.
We love this place! AMAZING location and always the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Staff are so attentive and fun, food is great and it always ends up to be a great time. Highly recommended. Nadia (manager) takes care of every detail and makes sure everything is done to the highest standard. Want a perfect Sydney harbour venue to watch the world go by? This is the place!
C. J.
Wait staff great and attentive, some food great (mostly seafood items), burgers are nothing special, steak is served with no sides not even chips which for the price is a little unusual.
L. I.
For a tourist spot on the harbour this place isn't bad, the surf and turf burger was good, drinks a a little on the expensive side which is what you'd expect and the service was prompt enough but a little on the average side. If you're after something simple and easy then you'll be fine. After something more special then best try elsewhere.
P. S.
Happy hour at SG was definitely happy hour with $6 beers. Got very well looked after by the bar manager. Very friendly staff combined with great customer service and a relaxed atmosphere meant a very pleasant visit to quench a thirst on a Saturday afternoon👍
G. E.
Watch out for the see seagulls. Good food though.
D. T.
Great service. Food wonderful. Prices reasonable. Lovely Quay atmosphere of a beautiful Sydney night a bonus.
L. L.
Dinner in the evening for four people, food was fantastic and service attentive and friendly. We also called back next day and they had happy hour food and drinks, really enjoyed food and drinks. Puddings are scrumptious.
A. M.
Great lunch options including the $19 steak and chips. Frosty cold beer and great scenery overlooking Sydney Harbor. Attentive friendly service. Enjoyed my lunch here.
A.
Attended with a group of 5, with 1 vegitarian. Restraunt seemed to be booked out. The atmosphere was fantastic on the harbour with a clear view of the bridge with friendly staff. The steaks were cooked perfectly, but half of us ended up getting our steaks 10 minutes before the others instead of all together. The food was also delivered before the drinks. The garlic and parmesan potatoes were incredibly disappointing, looking like basic potato gems. The vegitarian food was highly rated though. Understand the busy nature of the place, but having food come out at different time, drinks delivered late and the price I would have expected more.
W. L.
4.1 - Great views of the Quay and the beautiful boats on the water, partly shaded and partly in the sun. It took awhile to get service but when I did, it was okay. I enjoyed my Barramundi and Broccolini, but I do think it was quite pricey for what arrived on the plate. I ordered a juice with no ice, but when it arrived, it had ice so I had to make my request again. Happy to see that when it was brought back, it was done well ie they didn't just flick the ice out. I stayed here for a long time. It is a popular place for patrons to come and eat.
a. W.
Food was good. Last night in Sydney and wanted a great last meal. The only reason this is not a 5 star is that we were walked passed at our table over and over to order and it took 10 minutes for us to finally get our bill when we were right next to the waitress station. We made eye contact with the waitress and she would walk past. So only downfall was the service.
M. M.
Had a great meal, great drinks, and great conversation in their outdoor seating. It was awesome!
C. H.
Nice Location, Food is good
J. H.
The food was exemplary, the view of Harbour Bride & Sydney Theatre was awesome
C.
Expensive of course. But It's worth. Nice view, good taste and kind staff.
A. P.
I attended Dinner service on Friday night at 9 pm. Although the service was lacking initially, the service improved in an hour. The Pulled pork croquettes were the best among the Grilled halloumi cheese, Crab & prawn tian, Garlic bread starters. For mains, the lamb and barramundi were cooked perfectly, and my group enjoyed it. However, I would not suggest the Toffee and Macadamia Cheesecake for dessert. The chocolate icing on the cheesecake, the cake itself were not flavourful (not fresh) although visually the desert was stunning. I would have a given five stars if the flavor of the desert and service were up to par with the presentations of the served dishes.
S. B.
You like meat?....I’m sure this is a good place but if you’re looking for gluten free or vegetarian options, order there veggie burger, it’s to die for. OMG!!!! Thank u!
The service, Annie was absolutely amazing, respectful and on the ball.
Of course, you can’t beat the view. Amazing.
BTW, DO NOT GO through Buckley’s next store...the food is awful and the service is EXTREMELY bad.
Thank you Searock Grill for my happy belly!
L. C.
I came here for dinner with two others, and whilst there was a bit of a wait. For a Friday night down on the water, it was a relatively quick wait.
Food was awesome, service was good. Well worth heading down for a meal out.
I. S.
This place was great! Service was so so friendly and super fast, and the food was delicious. Best veggie burger I’ve ever had. 10/10!!
K. B.
What a fantastic place to dine. The lobster was beautiful and sweet. The steak was cooked to perfection although a little thin.
Service was friendly and no stress.
P. M.
Great location but pretty average food.
The eye fillet was exactly like an average local steak you can find in every suburb.
& I'd rather Coles salad than this.
Staff behaviour was fine.
W. B.
We enjoyed the outside dining as we enjoyed our Seafood & Steak dinner with a view of Aussie Icons (Sydney Harbour Bridge & Opera House) and watched the sunset over the harbour before going the My Fair Lady at Opera House. Staff were friendly and helpful to my disabled husband. Food came quickly.
K. S.
Good food but a little overpriced. Ten percent surcharge on weekends too. We were only on our second day in town and learning the area. So we didn't realize what a tourist filled area this location would be. Its fine overall but not a place I would visit again
M. B.
Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday after taking a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House and they easily found a table for 5 people. We ordered fish and chips, seafood basket, and wagyu burger. All the food was delicious and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful, which was a little unexpected in such a busy tourist environment.
N. K.
The Lamb was one of the best I've had. Great and relatively quite atmosphere. Plate well presented, approachable and well mannered staff who greeted us on the way in just as well on the way out. Had a great evening. Thank you.
P. K.
I have been to this place twice. I like where this place is located, has a perfect view of the Sydney harbour. My partner and I had fish and chips here and it's probably the best fish and chips that we ever had. Customer service was very friendly.
C. M.
41/2 stars. Based this on slightly above average quantity of food for $19 lunch meal of fish and chips. For tourists you have to factor in views of sydney harbour and bridge. Opera house just short walk away. With this in mind it's good value.
R. C.
We highly recommend Searock food and service is exceptional , and the cricketer's lager the best. Of the 3 days we were in Sydney we had lunch and "beverages" at Searock twice. Keep up the good work folks .
Z. L.
Great location; Nice burger and chewy steak.
R. L.
Located in Circular Quay, right in front Opera House, thr view is to die for. Staff are nice, polite. Lots of wine choices, but not so much on craft beer. They have lots of steak choices but do not offer pasta.
Kangaroo meat is good! Sea food is okay.
Price is generally higher but food quality is much better compared to other cheaper restaurants around that area.
D. M.
Had the Scotch fillet. Made to my liking. Only issue is the price. Plate arrived with fillet only with one choice of sauce - no salad or any sides - those are extra. $60 is a lot of money for what you get.
H. H.
Excellent food, service and views! Also, the staff were super attentive and always smiling. Some of them even looked like models! Just ridiculous. Shame about the seagulls though, but hey a bird’s gotta eat.
N. L. V.
Amazing service, amazing people. Ordered the New York Cut steak medium rare and got it medium rare. Ordered Agrarian Chardonnay, got it with the meal as asked and by a different Waitress. The communication is top notch here and the care they share for their customers is awesome. A1 restuarant.
K. D.
Food was lovely...came out very quickly though which made me question if it was cooked to order. Drinks took a while to come out. Would go again as reasonably priced...we had food off lunch specials menu.
G. C.
Had the roo burger and it was tasty but nothing to spectacular especially when paying $21. But is a good serving size and comes with chips. Although an option of having salad instead would be good. Service was okay.
A. G.
A great place to relax for dinner and drink right next to one of Sydney's most iconic sights. Specialising in seafood and steaks, the menu caters for those with small and large appetites.
The quantities are substantial, and I'd definitely recommended getting a starter. It is quite a pricey place, but well worth it.
Staff know what they are doing and the service is impressive.
A. B.
Eating here can be a little hit or miss. Their crab Tian is fantastic as are their meat dishes. Service is their sketchy area... sometimes good, sometimes not so good. One time, so terrible, I was ignored for so long, I left and went somewhere else. So, if you're feeling lucky, roll the dice and give the place a go.
C. M.
Food was delicious and cocktails were nice. Service staff were ok, the girls changed halfway through but both were nice and inviting. Honestly a 5* review up until my friend and i went to pay.
We went inside because we wished to split the bill which is no problem here. However i had noticed in my bill i had been charged for an extra beer. The woman at the till then in formed me that it wasnt her fault but my own as i had ordered the beer seperate to my main dish (it was an offer, food + beer). However all i did was ask for the beer before ordering my main at the same time! I was told i would have to find my own waitress to sort the issue because she wouldnt.
Having gone outside to find my waitress and couldnt find her, the other outdoor staff were alot more happy to help. Got it sorted in the end. As good as the food was i dont want to be made out to be a criminal by ordering a meal. Will not be back.
D. M.
Really enjoyed the food. Surprising for the area, was expecting less. Not a cheap place to eat but not stupidly expensive either. Drinks are probably the more costly part but recommended for a Circular Quay restaurant - easy to walk in and grab a table. Service was entertaining and attentive
T.
Delicious seafood meals and very attentive service. A bit on the higher end in terms of price but lovely place nonetheless. Will return here when we visit again.
E. K.
This place is located in the heart of circular quay. We had the oysters and a crab and prawn tostadas for entrees and had seafood curry as a main with a bottle of white wine. The oysters where well at you would expect, but the tostadas were delicious and so were the seafood curry.
I recommend getting an outside seating if the weather is nice as it is always fun to people watch. Great food and reasonable priced.
B. C.
Was not expecting much in terms of food since it's a touristy spot with a nice view. The food was great though - oyster was fresh and flavorful, haloumi delish, k-roo steak delicious! Service was great as well.
I. M.
It has a great location and quite a nice atmosphere. The food is pretty good but a tad too salty. Pretty much everyone is a tourist, both staff and customers. This makes it fairly jovial. If you are a local you can do better than this place though.
G. Z.
Best oysters and amazing baramundi
J. a. K.
Good food, lots of variety on the menu for meat & seafood lovers. Service & location are good too. Nothing to rave about but no negatives either. Would consider returning if in the area.
M. E.
Great value and quality seafood in an ideal location
S. B.
I was here after an exam and a tour around vivid 2016, so I was rather starved. Unfortunately, it took a while to wait for a table, as it was crowded. It took a while for the staff to realise that we were queuing at the wrong area, however they were kind enough to inform us. It took a while for the menus to arrive. The walk to the bathrooms were rather dodgy, however I've seen worse. Rather comically, me and another lady got lost on the way back to the restaurant.
Then, the food came. Mother had a searock salad, and said it was absolutely beautiful, and one of the best salads she'd ever had. I had a steak. The mushroom sauce was absolutely wonderful, would recommend. Our side of chips was marvellous, as the chips were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
I ordered a steak, and asked for it to be cooked medium. When it came, however, it was blue rare. Blue rare steak does taste rather nice, however my stomach was more accustomed to medium steak, so I felt unwell afterwards.
Overall, there wasn't much on the plate yet it was very pricey. Taste wise it was marvellous, however I wouldn't recommend ordering seafood there. They could work on getting the steak right. Salad was marvellous.
A. Q.
Good brekkie right here at Circular Quay. The coffee was nice and strong, and bread was amazing. I'm regretting not getting the blueberry pancakes, but only because they looked even better than my eggs on toast. I'll have to go back...
A.
Good place. Nice scenery providing a cruise ship isent blocking the bridge view. Good atmosphere too.
The food was good, the drink was good. What's not to like.....
M. S.
Good fish and chips and a beautiful spot! As soon as they knew we were heading to a show and had a deadline, they were so accommodating and friendly about it, but otherwise were lovely to let us soak in the view.
L. D.
Couldn't fault the service. Staff were extremely polite and attentive. Food was incredible and fairly quick. Impressive menu with meals to suit big or smaller budgets.
t. m.
We visited the Searock Grill for a late lunch and with most of the outside tables taken we chose to sit inside, which had only one other table occupied. Mrs FB2000 ordered 9 Oysters ( 36 AUD ) but unfortunately they were not served on ice, but rather on what looked like broken glass and may have been salt ? As a result, whilst the Oysters looked good, they were not served at the right temperature. Mrs FB2000 still wolfed them down though !
C. M.
Took guests for lunch. Took along time to get served drinks and when meals came had to keep asking for the salad to come out which eventually arrived half way through the meal. The restaurant was not overly full so it was very disappointing everything took so long. The food itself was nice but service not so good.
G. L.
This place served very expensive food and the food wasn't even that good. I could find better food at a fraction of the cost. They even made me pay 30 extra dollars to store a cake in there fridge and only told me about that after they already stored it. Overall im disappointed with the slow service and expensive pricing. What my friend said sums this place up "the water was the only thing worth it here" (is free)
J. H.
Located right in the heart of the bustling Circular Quay the Searock Grill boasts a quite magnificent outdoor dining view of the Sydney Harbour and bridge and has a lunch menu ranging from $17 - $205 per meal. Personally I quite enjoyed my beef burger and it definitely makes my top 10 burgers list.
B. j.
Fish is little salty
But good price . I like it
Staff service is good
Thank you
L. N.
Good food and very good service, I recommend it !!!
D. A.
Great food. Loved the atmosphere. Service was good. Even enjoyed the company of seagulls. Must visit. Food is pricey but rather worth it.
K. P.
Friendly service. Food was ok but not great - what you'd expect at the local pub. Very expensive for what it was. Very slow for food to arrive especially for late in the evening when the place wasn't full. Wide selection of options. Good drinks menu with a couple of mocktail options. This place is ok but there are better options at Circular Quay
S. T.
Good service despite being very busy.
J. W.
What a fantastic experience. Staff were lovely and accommodating, food was excellent. The garlic prawns were next level good. Will be back.
E.
The best calamari appetiser I have ever had. The eye fillet was great too. Really recommend it.
G. E.
Lovely spot overlooking the water. Had a chardonnay which was nice and not too pricey. Would recommend!
C. W.
Great location and obviously the pri e is adjusted for it.
We had a barramundi and tiger prawns on Napolitan sauce.
Both awesome
However the barramundi was way too expensive for the size.
It was a 5*6 rectangle for $38
Service could be a little better.
F. B.
Had the lunch special which was the taco loved it. The kids serving was a good size as well.
t. m. L.
Place with nice view to the habor of sydney, only few walks to Sydney Opera
R. M.
Food was okay but not standing out. Main reason to eat here would be the view. Service seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. Two ladies to serve the entire area. Ended up getting one of our starters just before the main.
H. U.
Fantastic view of the Harbor and fun atmosphere. Got lunch with a wagyu beef burger and chips. The burger had good flavor but wasn't juicy or thick-- but maybe that's how wagyu is?
T. P.
Excellent customer service
Quality and quantity of food great
Will dine again
Fantastic views of harbour bridge and circular Quay
H. M.
Amazing food!! Definitely try the kangaroo cutlets, delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere and views were spectacular. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.
M. H.
The food was AMAZING!!! This place totally deserves more recognition. Staff was polite and very friendly. And the food was very tasty and was prepared quick.
C. B.
The food is good. The staff is courteous. The location is great. We ordered a burger and sea food Thai curry. The portion size was good.
J. W.
Pushed the boat out and dined in style with the best view Sydney has to offer. Ordered garlic mushroom entree and pastured eye fillet from NW Tasmania. The mushrooms had a rich and mysterious but delicate flavour I could not at first put my finger on with the occasional burst of vegetation. A nice departure from the usual garlic overbearing and gloomy white sauce. The steak- delicious. Correctly cooked although not even all the way through. Forgiven though as it is.a.notoriously difficult skill to do with such a thick cut. A small critique here, it seems perhaps the steak.was rested in a draught as when it arrived it was only warm and not at temperature. Maybe it's just me but I.like to have my steak a little too hot to.eat straight away so that the anticipation adds to the experience. The side.order of brussels and bacon was somewhat of a blip on quality sorry to say. I asked for well fried sprouts so that the edges might be caramelised - they weren't. Instead I got slightly browned sprouts with roadhouse bacon bits. Too bad for me I asked.for.something different. The over contrast in textures did nothing for the meal.
Overall a good.dining experience. Now for.the.bill...you can imagine what that's going to be.
J. R.
I have had a few different dishes here and I loved it every time! Very tasty, reasonably pricing for Sydney and excellent customer service.
J. W.
Perfect views of harbour, just near the Sydney Opera House. Food is nice. Best place for date.
L. R.
Best night out to celebrate a birthday. Staff were very attentive and polite. Food was excellent . Definitely a place to eat. Thankyou Searock Cafe .
G. M.
Visited on Friday the 19th with a group of work colleagues, what an absolutely fantastic experience the food was excellent ( the pulled pork croquettes are amazing), the staff are wonderful and the location is great, highly recommend and will go again.
O. P.
Great food, location and friendly service - Kai was great, will definitely be coming back again :)
D. P.
Quite a good lunch for the price at such a prime location. Didn't like the overly creamy mushroom sauce. Coffee only fair.
M. V.
Excellent and quick. Watch out for the seagulls.

At the end of a long day of touring, we enjoyed a delicious seafood meal, with prompt and efficient service and a great whisky sour. A wonderful way to end the day!

Food was great, very filling, staff were excellent, very nice outdoor seating. Busy but great places always are.

A bit overpriced however, we had a very nice dinner, wonderful view and the staff were fantastic!

Good service and location. However, I found the main courses to be a tad expensive and boringly executed. Conversely, the desserts were much nicer. It was a solid experience but I am not tempted to return.

Had a great meal here recently before a night at the opera. Excellent steak. Staff were very attentive and the ambience was great. Highly recommend

Great view, food ok but not amazing. Service was acceptable but waited ages for drinks and had to flag down staff even with empty glasses on our table.

Really enjoyed the food and the staff were very nice, but be warned sitting outside for when the wind pick up in winter, they but plenty of heaters on outside at night and blankets though!

A regular customer, had a great meal as usual, a big thank you to waiter who returned my $100 overpayment, good to see good old fashioned honesty still there. Will be back soon!

Very nice selection and presentation!

Ordered the chicken sandwich and natural oysters. Well presented, tasty and not too heavy on the pocket. And the location is ideal, close to Opera House.

I would say good, but nothing special. A bit more then average, maybe just because of the view. I've been here years ago and it was beautiful, today unfortunately can't say the same.

Views good. Service you have to grab their attention. Food was average. Overall dissapointed but cocktails were good.

It was okay, a bit overpriced for the quality of the food, you're paying for the location. And those bloody seagulls! Watch your food.

Busy place with really nice view of the Sydney harbour. Service was a little slow but reasonably good. Food was good and reasonably priced.
M. B.
Good food, great view

Great Location. But if you are dining outdoor, remember to protect your food from the seagulls who will never give up and let go.
