Almost perfect fish and chips in a beautiful location! Skip the wait by ordering online, especially in peak period. Batter was lovely, crumbed calimari was tasty. Potato scallops were real slices of potato, not reconstituted cakes like at a lot of places.

A lot of restaurant only open after Thu in this low season. The Inlet saved my stomach. Fish was good, chips a bit too salty for us. if you order maybe ask less salt at the beginning. Other than that all perfect.

Nice location, and the fish that got tasted nice, but portion was tiny. I ordered the most expensive grilled fish and my wife the seafood basket. After a very long wait (25 mins) we got our meals, my wifes was piping hot and mine was luke warm at best. The amount of chips in her basket was easily twice as much as mine and reasonable quantity for the other items, for mine it looked like they were running out of fish so provided a half portion only. Despite the taste (fish - good, chips - ok) probably wouldn't return.

The Inlet has recently opened its restaurant doors and all i can say is its was definitely worth the wait! It was lovely to walk inside from the cold and have a warm fire burning. We started with 5 different Entrees. They were the Aranchini balls, fish cakes, seafood chowder, salt and pepper calamari and the scallops. After eating all of this amazingly fresh greatness we then devoured a Steak Trawler, a Pan seared Pork stack, Mussells with chilli garlic and tomato, floured dusted Kingfish and black squid ink pasta. Eash dish was extremely fresh and very full of flavour. I would highly recommend this food experience to anyone. Photos of all the dishes are uploaded.

We came across this seafood takeaway by chance during a roadtrip from Sydney and was so impressed by the gentleman’s knowledge of fish and seafood. We ordered the blue grenadier battered and that was delicious. The oysters were deliciously fresh too!! Thank you so much mate!! Highly recommended

Restaurant quality take away and surprisingly reasonable prices (small chips is a very generous serve for $3.50). Best potato cakes (they call them potato scallops) I've had in years. My friends really enjoyed their take away meals as well. Beautiful scenery with gorgeous pelicans, excellent service, highly recommended! In a town where takeaway can be a bit overpriced and sometimes not up to expectation, The Inlet surpasses expectation - no wonder this hidden gem is so popular!

I love it. I stop here regularly for lunch whilst on the road working. I always get a fishburger. No fuss. Bun, lettuce, nice tartare (not overly sweet. Cant stand reglar tartare for that reason) Ask for grilled fish and i get it. Fresh and filling.

Found this shop by accident down the side street. Really enjoyed the takeaway meal, beautifully cooked, tasted great and I could tell by the colour of the chips that the oil was clean. Will be back when in Narooma next time.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die von ihnen vorgeschlagenen Menüs und Weine waren ein Volltreffer. Mehr als hervorragend ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das 3 Gänge Menü inklusive Getränke und eine Flasche Wein für vier Personen schlugen mit 167,50 $ zu Buche. Top
