Such a great experience! So many cocktails to choose from, and a delicious menu. Complimentary bread and olives while waiting for the mains, which didn't take long at all. The pork belly was so tender, with crispy crackling and fresh veggies to balance the meal. Overall, a lovely experience for a fair price. Highly recommend!

Yesterday we had lunch here. This was some of the best food we have tasted, my compliments to the chefs. The portions were a nice size, after each course it left room for the next to enjoy ☺️ the entrees Buffalo wings were moist and tender with a side sauce that had just a little bit to it. The prawn and crab bruschetta was so good, light to eat, different to the normal bruschetta which was a nice change. Smoked trout was not dry full of flavour and a nice thickness about each slice, the salad that come with the trout was very well presented with a touch of flowers and not over done with to much greens, bursting with lots of different flavours. The surf and turf brisket was tender, the garlic prawn’s just right not over powered by the garlic. Still room for Desert, strawberry mousse with the chocolate dome and strawberry 🍓 ice cream, this just melted in his mouth yummmmo. I had the baileys crème brûlée and chocolate coffee ice cream they both had a chocolate crumble under the ice cream. My crème brûlée was creamy smooth with a nice consistency of toffee on top that when I taped it with my spoon I heard the snap. I have even mentioned the staff. They were really lovely 🥰 very helpful, with all our needs nothing was a problem to the girls who work there. I know I will go back again. Overall we really enjoyed our lunch thank you 🙏 for your service 😊🙏🌻

We had our late Xmas party here what an amazing restaurant... we had 5 people 5 mains 2 entrees 8 cocktails 4 desserts for $345 outstanding stuff ... we will all be back as a group and with partners. Not to mention the service with a smile too ... we all raved about the meal at work the next day. Well done to all we had a great night.

Across from the tame waters of the Budgewoi Creek rests The Olive Tree Brasserie. You'll immediately feel like family upon entering thanks to the friendly wait staff. A relaxed and casual atmosphere adorns the room with it's easy going Australia vibes. Lovely wooden furniture, sage green walls and modern artwork will bring you back to the classic Aussie bush life without the dire repercussions of insect interference. The wait staff are positively friendly, willing to provide assistance to any request in a professional and pleasant manner. The menu will have you salivating with it's tasty range of Italian classics, pastas with tempting sauces and pizzas with novel spins. There is a good range of wines and beers (both bottled and draft) to choose from. You'll be able to find something to compliment any dish you order. We received a complimentary starter of mini damper rolls with olive spread and green and black olives. The rolls maintained the resilient exterior of a traditional damper with a firm yet squishy inside, and the olives packed a full flavoured punch which readied us for our mains. Our mains were an absolute pleasure. The pasta had a healthy coating of rich and smooth sauce which maintained a sensational balance of flavours and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The meat lovers pizza came with a jalapeno mayo which brought about a terrific new dimension not yet experienced with a meat lovers pizza. Key words: fresh and ingenious. Their chefs know how to cook exceptionally well and have a perfect palate. The wait time for food and drinks was minimal. The staff maintained their affable attitudes through the entire course. This place is an utter winner. Well worth the almost two hour drive to get here.

Have wanted to go here for dinner for awhile now and it took our 30th wedding anniversary to get there. The staff were fantastic and helpful im making sure we got the best value for money. The meals came out at reasonable intervals, you weren't left wondering when your next course would come out. The meal sizes were decent and omg the desserts. We are looking forward to going back there soon.

The Olive Tree has transformed Summerland Point! It’s a high class restaurant with a fabulous a la carte menu as well as set menus. We had the wagyu steak and steak chips and the beef brisket and surf and turf and both were outstanding! Will definitely be back!

I had an absolutely delightful breakfast recently, the Smoked Trout Eggs Royale was a highlight. Staff were so friendly and attentive and were so welcoming to our young children. I had dined at the Budgewoi restaurant a few times so had high expectations, but they were met, and exceeded. Would highly reccommend!

A hidden gem on the central coast, the food punches well above the humble location. Thoroughly recommend the grilled scallops, crab bruschetta, grilled salmon and prawn risotto and roast pork belly. Strawberry mousse in a chocolate dome was amazing too. I'll go back to budgewoi just to have dinner here again.

My family and I had dinner last night and it was exceptional! The location is lovely, the staff are all very friendly and actually enjoy having a conversation with you. The food was outstanding! My partner said "this is exactly how a steak should be cooked, it's perfect". I had the risotto, the presentation was incredible and creative. The children's dinner even looked exciting and fun with bright colours for the salad. I can say without a doubt it's the most outstanding restaurant we have been too. The food here is very nice. And the location is great too with some nice views. The real let down is the wait staff who have to be asked for more drinks. In the 90 minutes we were there, not once - except for the initial seating - were we asked if we wanted a drink. That was potentially another $100 they have missed out on. It doesn't need to be pushy. But if you see a patron with an empty glass on their table for more than a few minutes, ask if they'd like another.

Went here for a 40th birthday dinner, 4 adults and 2 kids under 6. No sooner had we walked in the door and the power went out. After doing the COVID check in, the staff showed us to our table apologising for the loss of power. Looking out the window, the whole street was in darkness, so not their fault. Anyway, the staff were very attentive and quickly served drinks and took our food order. We were informed that the kitchen cooks on gas so they are continuing with service but again apologised that the meal may take longer than usual due to limited light in the kitchen. Fine with us. They then produced colouring and game packs for the kids which ended up keeping the whole table entertained, what a great idea. Well the entre was Salt and Pepper squid. Hands down he best I have ever tasted. The second course was Barramundi, a bit disappointing, very moist with crispy skin, just lacked flavour. but presented well and the rest of the dish was nice. We brought our own birthday cake so didn’t try their deserts. All up, it was very enjoyable evening despite no power, the staff coped extremely well. Everyone else at our table enjoyed their meals.

One of few places in the area that offer house made pastas and quality meals in an environment that takes in the fantastic scenery. Admittedly we did wait 50mins for our main but we weren’t in a hurry and the staff kept us informed on how long and why. Previously we had a wonderful meal here. We came with a group last night, March 21. My chicken was so tough I could not cut it or eat it at all. And an ant crawled out of my salad. I could not eat it either.I did not want to make a fuss at the time because of my friends, but I have to report it. On the plus side, the calamari entree was wonderful.

My daughter's 18th was held here on 15th June. Awesome night for all guest's. The service by wait staff was fantastic and the owner Tracey is absolutely wonderful. Nothingvwas a bother to her. All 40 guest's said their meals were extraordinary, the fixed many having plenty of variety and mouth watering dishes. I rate our night as 10/10. Pros Menu was great Food was great Pizzas were great Staff were good. Cons - Main area of the restaurant has wooden floorboards and bare walls and was so loud from diners conversations that it was physically uncomfortable for my ears. It made it almost impossible to have a conversation due to the volume. It made me think the staff are at risk of hearing loss from prolonged exposure! Try to get a table to the left of the entry where the floor is carpeted and it is a smaller space. The entry is also awkward, as guests line up in front of the bar and block the doorway for guests entering and exiting and don't really realise because they have their backs to the door.

Have been there several times on their $15 pasta night and it's a superior meal. For starters there is a board with sour dough, olives and hummus. There are about eight mains including my favourite, prawn, smoked salmon and crab in creamy sauce, with a side salad. Cheaper than buying hamburgers or pizza in a restaurant!
