Comments of The Potting Shed

Good vibe, great service, good cocktails ( recommend the watermelon margarita). The only thing was I ordered a medium 1kg t-bone and it came out well done, it’s still good though.
Dez was super friendly, attentive and professional.
Will definitely come back again.

I recently had an event held here and I picked the set menu which is great value for money. The food is excellent and the entire party was happy with everything. I really recommend the set menu if you have a big group as it comes with a variety of amazing dishes! The staff were really attentive even though it was super busy.

Walked in without a booking for sunday lunch, was quickly given a table at the bar.
Very fun bar tender to talk with and knowledgeable about her cocktails.
The food was amazing and service was very quick, amazing to see parrot at a restaurant she was stunning.
A great atmosphere.

The Potting Shed is a fun place to meet up with family and friends anytime of day. Make sure to make a booking, especially during the holidays as it gets really busy. It is a very crowded and loud environment but the food and drinks are delicious. Make sure you have some extra time to have a look around the potting shed and the surrounding area of The Grounds. You will be surprised to see beautiful outdoor seating and even some farm animals.

We were looking for something substantial as the cafe was serving a reduced breakfast menu. Stumbled upon this one and it was perfect. Service was attentive and efficient. Food of good prices and such big portions. Also very delicious. The plants made it cooler on such a hot day like today. I could not find a fault with this place!

We popped out her for a late lunch on a Sunday. The staff are fantastic and went above and beyond to accomodate us. We booked via the website the day before and managed to get a table. Great cocktail and wine menu as well.
They are also dog friendly! As are the grounds next door. I would recommend going for a walk through the grounds before or after lunch.
A. C.
Stunning place. Totally agree with the majority.
The food for me were pretty average.
I might just come back for cocktails and drinks may be next time. 👍🏻
A. L.
Beautiful venue with ample seating but limited parking. Was very hot and humid in the summer but expected as it’s outdoor seating. Raspberry lemonade tasted very strange

Great Easter lunch! My mum, husband, and I enjoyed a lovely Good Friday lunch here. Fabulous service and delicious food.
A. C.
Such a beautiful restaurant. I was in awe of it the entire time. Perfect dinner date with husband. The ambience is aesthetic, loved the drinks and food. Staff is super friendly too.
V. D.
A little overrated imo. I got the experience package where it’s $15 for two people and it came with a candle that’s seen it’s fair of use and a red rose. Not really worth it. The food were decent.
When I ordered the mussels, the waitress asked if I wanted bread with that to which I said yes. As she didn’t mention any cost associated with it, I assumed it was complimentary with the mussels (as a or of places for that) but it wasn’t. It would just be good if she had told me beforehand.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! You get there earlier and you can take pictures in the beautiful garden they have.
The food was full of flavour and staff are friendly and helpful
Make sure to have a look at the animals they have there

Nice venue, we've been around 4 times over the years. Food is pretty good, nice presentation. Moderate pricing, ambience outside is great, with hundreds of live plants adorning the dining area. Usually quite busy, so expect to wait a little while for food and service. Seating can be a little tight, so for covid weary people it may cause anxiety depending on where you are seated. Otherwise it's an impressive place to bring family/friends who live out of town.

Absolutely loved dining here last week for my friend’s birthday.
Brilliant food, beautifully presented with exceptional cocktails!
The ambiance is amazing! We were taken care of by Acts who made us feel at home and explained everything we needed to know about the $68 smorgasbord we had each ordered. Plenty of food for all and then a lovely stroll around the grounds was a lovely finish to the evening.
R. W.
Definitely worth experiencing as the atmosphere is really nice, love all the plants and trees everywhere. Like the novelty of serving drinks in plant pots as well as the deconstructed meringue in a tipped over pot.
Food was pretty average but nothing terribly wrong there. Would have been good to tell us what wasn't available when seating us because tried ordering ribs and was the only thing unavailable.
Went on a Tuesday night so not busy at all and waiters super friendly. Is a little hard to get their attention through all the plants but we didn't mind.
C.
A magical experience ! Had dinner here during their Cinderella theme and it was wonderful ! They had a bibbidi-bobbidi-boo drink, and the food was incredibly tasty :) We got a corner table which was amazing, and the decor was super enchanting with the fairy lights and greenery. I highly recommend their beef sliders, cheeseburger and tender lamb. Customer service was attentive. food may take a while during busy hours - also best to book during busy weekends ! Overall, such a memorable place :)
H. J.
The Potting Shed is incredibly beautiful with lots of greenery and quirky styling. The food was delicious and the drinks menu has so many unique options that are super tasty! The staff were friendly and food arrived quickly even though it was a busy public holiday. I found the food to be a bit overpriced but other than that, I absolutely loved The Potting Shed!

It's a beautiful venue to go for a meal.
It's tranquil to dine in the garden surrounded by the beautiful plants.
Service is good but slow during these pandemic times.
All of the food is delicious and presented beautifully including the drinks.
J. N.
It’s obvious everyone comes here for the gram, looks very cool.. but the food doesn’t really hit the mark.
The fried chicken bao wasn’t very good, lacked flavour and the chicken was a bit dry.
The beef brisket taco was nice and flavourful but the tortilla was thick and doughy.
Cocktails were really good and I got a coffee to takeaway which I also liked.
Overall just a super average place where you can get some good photos.
L.
Been here a handful of times and it was always average but this last visit made its mark, the wait stuff were really attentive and friendly. Both the fried chicken and steak was great, definitely recommend for a lunch.
K. J.
Went with great expectations, but was disappointed. The service was slow and the food quantity was small according to the price.
The amibence was the only plus.
J. S.
The potting shed is always very busy! Best to make a booking for brunch or lunch. We shared items from the menu - the baked cheese and the creative dessert were my favourite!
V. X.
The Grounds is a great place to meet friends and hang around for beautiful mornings at the weekends. Fresh florals and greenery make it a dream place for the love of beauty. The potting sheds are decorated with lavish hanging plants and occupy a huge dining area with multiple seating options. A charming and pleasant brunch spot with choices of sharing dishes, mains, set menu and more...

My first time here last night and and had a great one! There was an awesome blues singer! Not sure what his name was but he was awesome and played a couple of original songs which was refreshing to hear! Hope the blues becomes a regular event! Sometimes the service was a tad slow, but it was a full house so that is expected, however might be good to get some extra staff on for those packed nights.

Went in without a booking during the Easter weekend and was greeted by welcoming staff. Food was great, and with an amazing atmosphere, what's not to like?
C. M.
My partner and I went for our belated Valentine’s date night as we were sold on the “Moroccan” backdrop. There were literally 2 Moroccan themed items on the menu, 1 of which was sold out. It was a nice experience overall. The staff are lovely and helpful, and initially the interior is a lot to take in as it feels quite busy but it’s part of the ambience. It’s like a pub but in a rustic setting, and the food accompanies that. The food is nice, it’s not cheap but the quality is relatively good. The “candle light” dinner experience is not worth it - you pay $30 for a tea light candle and a rose to be seated quite squished in with others. We then went through a stroll after in the Moroccan themed pathway (which they were charging a non-restaurant customer $5 entry for), which I wouldn’t pay for but it suits a certain market. Overall I’d be back but definitely not again for date night.
E. B.
Magic place, nice environment, friendly staff. Different site you can find in Sydney but stunning which make you feel you are in other city. The gardens and the lights are perfect places for pictures. Food is ok, drinks are alright but desserts presentation is amazing.
J. F.
We booked a table and opted for the 3 course set menu, great value and service. Enjoyed the atmosphere too. Made it a special function.
J. H.
The grounds of Alexandria is definitely a must go experience when visiting Sydney - the beautiful grounds is filled with animals and pretty flowers and plants fill-up the walkways. However I’ve always felt the food was a bit of a let down.
I had the pork t-bone and felt it was a bit dry and lacked flavour. The plate also looked a bit empty given the price you’re paying. In addition I ordered the side of chips and was a bit disappointed with the portion given you were paying $8 for it. For coffee I had the soy cappuccino and that was frothy and delicious!
M. B.
They charged $4 pp for sparkling water (which came in an open bottle and was not sparkling much). Muscles were nice, other then that nothing is special about the food! Employees were nice too... Oh, and there was a poor alive parrot sitting there like a decoration item - I hope there is a good explanation for that :(

After so many days of planning to come to The Gardens but not being able to simply because we couldn’t find parking and could absolutely not justify public transport in this era of virus, we finally came here. Though it wasn’t exactly the gardens. We were lucky enough to get a parking directly outside the gardens, and we made our way inside. It was a bit confusing at first because we weren’t sure where anything was located. I recall their website describing this place as a cafe, garden, restaurant, bar, and there’s probably a jb-hifi somewhere in there too. Anyways, after traversing through this maze we found ourselves at the front of the potting shed, which was also surrounded by plenty of empty car parks. We realised that this was just around the corner.
We saw a few people waiting outside, and realised we needed a reservation. Marika was on it immediately and made one for 5 minutes from now, at 6:15pm. We went up right after making the reservation and they gave us warm welcomes and friendly smiles as they sat us towards the corner of the restaurants. The interiors of this place was quite beautiful and the abundance of nature and greenery surrounding the place was astonishing really, I could never have thought it could go this far. It wasn’t until we left that we realised there was a macaw on a perch just 2 metres away from us, and it was a beautiful bird. It was somehow unbothered by the pollution of human chatter and went about its day with an orange in one claw and a messy beak.
We looked through the menu the gave us and everything was just… pretty expensive. The menu is pretty vegetarian and seafood friendly as they have a few dishes catered towards it. I simply ended up with the most basic item on the menu, a cheeseburger meal for literally 26 friggen dollars. Marika had the roasted Fremantle octopus and cauliflower beignets, and we also shared a mini cocktail set, named threes a party.
The drinks arrived first, and they were cute and decent tasting. They were pretty much mini versions of a Pina colada in the sunflower pot, gin, peach, elderflower and rose in the glass with a rose, and a gin, cucumber, elderflower, and apple in the martini glass. The rose one was the best by far, as the Pina colada didnt taste that great, and the cucumber one literally tasted like a cucumber marinated in alcohol.
The food arrived 15 minutes later and it was unique for sure. My cheeseburger was served on a shovel head for goodness sake. It actually tasted incredible though, but just imagine yourself eating a regular cheeseburger, and now imagine a much much better version of it. Marika really liked the cauliflowers, saying that it was amazing. She exclaimed that she would go back here just to eat it. It was very filling and felt like a main, and it was also worth the price of $9. It was not greasy at all which was good since it was deep fried. The octopus felt like a home cooked meal to her as her mum had made something similar before in the past, but given the price and portion, it was very lackluster. However, it was a pretty unique dish and was something you wouldn’t normally get at a restaurant. The capsicum ruined the dish apparently, as it felt forced and was simply tossed in there. It was bland and didn’t excite her, as the flavours didn’t blend well with the octopus and it felt more like filler food. The marinade was tasty though.
I think we spent just under a hundred bucks today and it was insane, but I suppose part of the cost went towards the experience. Its certainly something we wouldn’t do all the time, or even ever again, so im glad we paid this place a visit. The next stop is to actually visit the cafe though.

Dining here made me feel uncomfortable as if there is a colour coding going on. I requested to be moved to a table as I've noticed that some people were leaving. I was told I need to wait for 30 minutes and available tables were reserved. So after Few minutes the host redirected a newly arrived couple to the table that I was referring to. I asked that couple If they booked the table. They told me 'NO'. The couple is Caucasian. 😔
The staff who took our order was disengaged. There was no cutlery. We asked for a dessert menu. She told us she's going to come back but she never did . We waited for our order for 40 minutes. Meat was over cooked. I was just too hungry to return it.
The price is above average and food is alright.
P. U.
The ambience was exceptional, and the food was good . Slow service which needs improvement.
J. N. C.
We were seated very quickly with our reservation. The staff are very friendly and helpful although it is quite difficult to get the attention of the wait staff after being seated though. The wait for the drinks and food is rather lengthy as well. Otherwise the food and drink are good. The duck sausage is way too salty but everything else was alright. I think the main reason I come here is because it's one of the main dining options at the grounds, otherwise I'm not sure if I would come back really.

The Potting Shed is located in The Grounds of Alexandria. The tropical greenery and "Fluffy" the Macaw make the surroundings very pleasant. And that's where it stops!
The restaurant was not even half full on a weekday and we were asked if we'd made a reservation. When we said "No" she fluffed around like she's trying to find a spare table and doing us a huge favour🤦♀️
Anyway, the coffee was horrible, cold and not served to full as other cafes prepare.
The menu was overpriced for what you received. The Prawn Salad was tasteless (and who eats 3 or 4 potato's worth of potato salad for a meal?) Even with 2 of us eating it we couldn't finish it.
The Cheeseburger looks amazing on the shortened metal spade/shovel, but was very disappointing in flavour. The fries were acceptable with only a token sprinkling of salt.
Been There Done That (BTDT) !!
Check out other smaller cafes locally and in nearby Erskinville, Newtown & surrounds for tastier and better value for money. Don't be taken in with the decor.
P. J.
Beautiful space! Brunch here was good - both the food and drinks. They do seem understaffed because it was difficult to get the attention of the staff for orders etc. but definitely worth trying!
N. V.
Work booked a farewell lunch here for a colleague. In general I feel this place is a bit overrated and overdone and not really my jam.
It was super busy and there was no social distancing in place that is a bit off-putting.
But the food was pretty good and service friendly.
I ordered the veal schnitzel and I enjoyed it but not enough to return.
If you’re looking for an IG photo, then this is definitely the place to be, if not give it a miss.
G. K.
Omg. We had great time and food. It was Easter and they were cracking big chocolate egg.
P. B.
Anything less than 5 stars would be an insult to the ambience created in the potting shed ( it’s that good ). The potting shed has a very earthy theme with plants and gardening equipments. The theme seeps into the food served as well, that plate their dishes beautifully.
We ordered two dishes in total:
Cauliflower Brioche - These are not your regular cauliflower fitters. Being a vegetarian I’m the happiest when vegetarian dishes are well made and full of flavours. This dish was flavour packed but also very light which is the signature style of modern Australian cuisine.
Australian Scallops - This is my first time trying scallops and it was a very experience. It’s a cold dish, the scallops are served on top of ice to maintain the quality of dish. Fresh tomatoes, onion & coriander on it reminded me of chats I ate back home in India.
Drink:
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo: This was a non alcoholic drink based on the ongoing Cindrella theme at The Grounds of Alexandria. It was aesthetically beautiful with blue candy floss and edible rice paper butterfly. The drink itself was tasty but lacked punch since there’s no alcohol in it. But maybe they wanted to make it kid friendly.
All things considered ‘The Potting Shed’ gets a 5 ⭐️ rating.
R. G.
We had an excellent experience at The Potting Shed. The food and drinks were all delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing amongst all the plants. Our waitress Billie was very nice and helpful and really added to the positive experience. The lady at the front entrance desk was also very nice. Overall it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.
P. Y.
I’ve dining at the Potting Shed once and loved their food. My rating primarily reflects their disinterest in large party bookings. After a few attempts to call and email I finally got a response. When enquiring about numbers and spaces, they seemed uninterested in helping me. I suppose they get enough business so they don’t care.
M. V.
Paid $30s for fish n chips that you can pay half price for at Bondi Beach and tastes way fresher and better..very little flavour here. Seems like you are paying more for the Gimmicky Garden Themes here than the quality.. disappointing..
R. G.
Had reservation at 8:00 pm saturday. Place looked great with decorations and everything. One the waitress hands us the menu & after 15 minutes or so she comes back to take our order, soon as we finish ordering she apologises and says “sorry i shouldve told u guys sooner but this this this food has been sold out”(literally everything was sold out with just few starters and 1 or 2 main dishes). Yea u shouldve told us 15 minutes sooner when handing us the menu. Anyways Overall food was soso but way toooooo overpriced. Would i come back??? Probably not.
M. N.
This venue is gorgeous with lots of hanging plants and greenery everywhere. I had the raw kingfish tostada and a cocktail. The tostada was unfortunately pretty underwhelming and dry. It could've done with some extra sauce, pickles and a side of lime as the tostada itself is quite dry. The cocktail was nicely shakenand foamy. Service was great by the host but it was a little inattentive once seated and the waitress tried to take my plate away before I had finished, and whilst I was chewing. It was awkward!
V. W.
Astonishing restaurant design and extremely nice service. Highly recommend mussels and lamb shoulder, they were absolutely mouthwatering. However, the drink in the yellow parrot cup disappointed me, watery and plain. Just think twice when you attracted by the cute cup. Overall I’ll give this restaurant 5 stars for the mains and the excellent service.
V. W.
Went in for an early lunch on a Sunday. About half full when we sat down. Service was food but kitchen was horrifically slow. Waited until the conversation had died a slow death before food came out. Taste is fresh. There are a few flavours you won't see (at least if you're from Melbourne). Can't say I enjoyed all of them but they weren't bad.
I. D.
My first time at the grounds of Alexandria and it was beautiful. Fresh flowers lots of beautiful photo op spaces. We booked lunch at the potting shed and ordered the set menu (min 6 people) at $65 per head it was delicious and generous. We shared a cocktail served in a punch bowl. Beautifully presented. Overall an excellent first time.

I love this place!!! Minus the line. The atmosphere, the food, the surroundings will completely submerge you until you forget what time it is. The Potting Shed, you'll sit, eat, chat for hours and forget that the day is ending.
We ordered everything to share. Everything was spot on. Delicious! Took its time to come out of the kitchen, worth the wait. Definitely understand why there's always a line. Maybe I'll try and book ahead next time!
S. P.
Its a great atmosphere however the service tarnished the experience. I had a booking as well as put through our order. The waitress did forget our drinks and also our food was mediocre (nothing over the top). A great place to go none the less.
We also ordered the romantic booking package.
k. Q.
Was served by friendly staff, came with no booking but they managed to secure a table for us.
They can set a date-table with candles and rose for extra charge 👌
Cocktails and food came a bit pricey but with perfect outdoor/garden ambience you could get your money's worth for a dazzling night time experience..
B. C.
Amazing service! I have a nut and egg allergy, and so the staff personally tweaked my meal to avoid any allergens. Such friendly staff, such a beautiful setting, and a varied menu too. I can highly recommend this place!
A. F.
Heard a lot about this place and while visiting I went to see what the hype was about.
Highlight - the venue. It's beautiful with lush greenery. Theres a parrot that just hangs out in the middle. The entire space has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere.
The main course was nice. We ordered the Fish and Chips, chicken tenders and Halloumi Salad. They were good but nothing amazing.
The drinks menu has an assortment of signature cocktails. They have quirky names but in actuality are just average. I wouldn't go for a second round.
As an avid dessert lover, its always the part of the meal I look forward to. We ordered 4 of the 6 options on the menu.
- Hazelnut Brownie : The flavour pairing is bizarre. Passionfruit and Brownie. The passion fruit sorbet is very very very sour. Sure it cuts the sweet but perhaps too far. Sour enough for a full body squirm. They do not balance. The passionfruit marshmallow is something different and interesting in flavour - not painful to eat. But again, just doesn't suit this dish.
- Caramel Cake: This was my favourite but it wasn't great. It was nice in flavour and average in texture. The ice cream lacks form and melts in the blink of an eye. Cute for Instagram but honestly nothing to write home about.
- Coconut Panna Cotta : Terrible. I love all things coconut but this was not the one. Weird texture, not consistent with panna cotta. Lacked structural elements like some movement, some shake. The coconut crunch was excessive. The pineapple sorbet was not bad actually.
- Mango Parfait: It was okay. Tastes like something I would eat on a flight meal. Cute for Instagram but the dish itself was average.
A. H.
First time here and wonder why its taken so long to get here. We got here much earlier than our booking so we walked around the venue which was beautiful to obviously take photos and the farm animal area too! Anyway the staff were all great and with a big group we chose quite a few dishes and the share dishes were so good!! A few different mains as well but the stand out dish was the buttermilk fried chicken yummy!! The crab pasta bisque didn't seem like much of a bisque but the lamb meatballs weren't as good as recommended. Would still come back for the wonderful service, lovely setting and try more dishes!
A. S.
Wow! What a beautiful place! I've been wanting to visit here for ages and finally made it. I wish I hadn't waited so long! Gorgeous setting, delicious food and the cutest cocktails I've ever seen. The staff were super helpful and friendly and made us feel so welcome. I can't wait to go back!
A. A.
Lovely restaurant with a rustic vibe. The place has really good steaks and I order them every time I am here. Love the creative cocktails here too. The decor is fantastic and the staff are friendly. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see a parrot that they have here too.
B. F.
Excellent environment to dine and drink. The food there are delicious and special, the dishes are very unique and cannot be found anywhere else. The interior are also excellent, both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. This would be one of my top restaurant to recommend in Sydney. Great for families, friends and couples.
A. N.
This place has a lovely set up with some great foliage decorating the venue. The food was delicious but the service was pretty ordinary. It was difficult to ascertain whether it was table service as we didn't get served for 20 minutes. Meals came out 10 minutes apart and I had finished my meal before others got their's and they ate their meals before drinks had arrived. Paying for meal was disjointed as they couldn't identify our table even though the waitperson in particular was the one that served us. Payments have a 1.5% surcharge on all cards including debit cards which isn't aligned with the true merchant fee in Australia. Seems like a business which has now got enough public support it doesn't need to bother keeping people wanting to come back..
A. H.
A nice cozy place to chill out in Alexandria. Make sure you book ahead on weekends because it's always crowded. The food is a fusion of western and asian dishes which taste ok. They seems to create new menu from times to times. The price is reasonable for the place and size.
G. K. (.
What a charming place, something out of the story books. We were expecting fairies!
We enjoyed the environment as much as the meal. It is a heaven of bliss full of greens and even live animals.
The food was also top notch. Our favourite was the pate with fig! What a phenomenal combination. The flavour was so memorable wish we had the recipe! Put it in a cook book and it would be a best seller.
S. D.
Returned to the Potting Shed for dinner and had quite a pleasant experience - ordered about 6 entree's to share between 3 people with a side of Cauliflower Beignets and the food was lovely.
The Affogato coffee drink & Marrakesh dessert set is delicious too.
(pictured is scallop ceviche, tiger prawn salad & butternut pumpkin dishes and then Marrakesh dessert set)
Jason was our waiter and he is such a gem, look forward to coming back here sometime in the future. :)
J. T.
Good food and great choice of beers and wines. Much better than The Grounds with a good atmosphere and only next door. The animals are right next to it. The chicken bao is amazing. Snapper ceviche is fantastic. All the food was superb, you can't go wrong.
M. H.
Excellent food and friendly staff. Can get very busy and hard to flag down staff. But they do check on you periodically. The mussels were fantastic and the barramundi was cooked to absolute perfection! The pumpkin fatteh was delicious but wished they went easy on the honey as pumpkin is already so sweet. Desserts were great. Highlights were the caramel cake and chocolate banana sundae. Will be coming again to tackle more of the menu!
S. P.
Amzing food, with good variety and large portions. The place itself is very cool with all the plants around gives a nice feel.
S. S.
The potting shed is an amazing place the kind of rustic style it has with all details they pay attention. Apparently they change their menu frequently so there are various selections. Nice cocktail options, wonderful service and a big place to celebrate birthdays or anything. While we were there I think we heard 5 happy birthdays. 😃
My favourite is the small room that you can hook for private events. Maybe next time:)
O. B.
Such a beautiful place to get dinner! The ambiance is brilliant, the waiter was very charismatic and the food and drinks were quick to come and completely delicious. Even the bathrooms were cool! Highly recommend! Would give more stars if I could :)
J.
Awesome job guys, very good customer service. Everything was delicious and well priced. Don't miss out on the drinks!!
Even though it was extremely crowed we did not wait for a seat for very long at all. Definitely coming back again! 👌
B. T.
The Potting Shed has an amazing atmosphere, it’s decor makes it live up to its name by have hanging plants EVERYWHERE.
The menu items are good, not very kid-friendly though. We also had a bit of a wait for our food AND drinks, but it was somewhat worth it.
I would recommend taking a Taxi or Uber to get here as the parking lot is quite small and busy at times.
All in all, 4 stars for friendly customer service, wonderful tasting food and great atmosphere.
F. Q.
We are huge fans of the Grounds! The Potting Shed is so beautifully decorated and the food is always perfect. If you're visiting, don't forget to introduce yourself to Fluffy!
K. D.
We have had a hard time getting table at the start. However, the good quality of food and our amazing cocktail in a beautiful environment makes me take only one star down.
To management: You guys can make a better customer satisfaction and also earning if you have one or two more employees organising the tables after people leave. I saw many free tables waiting for someone to clean them up and make them ready for next customers for more than 15 mins while tens of people were in the queue to get a table.
E. S. D.
We went there for a pre-christmas dinner. We didnt have a booking but the staff was friendly and able to secure us a table. The table service was awesome although one waitress does not appear to understand English well and she had difficulties in understanding our queries. Great atmosphere and would defo visit again. The cocktails and mocktails were great. Price is slightly on the premium range, 115 for three with drinks.
r. a.
Beautiful environment to go and hang out with your family and friends.foods are good .loved the dessert.

This is the peak of white middle class excess. Take a break, come here, and feel like the bourgeoisie for 2 hours. After a few cocktails, duck next door and ride the pig. The staff hate it but the pig is keen.
T. N.
The atmosphere is so cute you feel like you could be in a cute little restaurant somewhere on a tropical island. Very romantic. The food and drinks are very tasty. As well perfect for anyone who's df or gf. I highly recommend the affogato!
S. C.
The environment is fantastic and the food states really good. Waiting time is a bit long during the holiday time. And the holiday surcharge is a little bit high.
R. Y.
Greatest of atmospheres, as long as the weather is not too hot. Good steak.
The lamb was very fatty and had an extremely gamey flavour, I almost spat it out.
It's a shame there's no coffee.
Also while the macaw was a good attraction, I can't help feeling sorry for it, not being able to escape the touchy hands of humans and not being able to sleep. Maybe they should make the perch higher and longer so that the macaw can go up and hide to a quiet place when it wants to.
A. C.
Great atmosphere with nice interiors. We went late in afternoon so they were only serving starters menus and drinks. Their ice tea of the day was amazing and such a novelty! Prices were as you'd except in a touristy area. We got take out coffee which was really good too.
A. T.
Fantastic place to eat surrounded by lush greenery and Fluffy (the parrot) - Food and drinks are pretty Instagram worthy. Expect to see lots of photos being taken!
Make sure to book. This place gets packed and there’s always a queue...
M.
Very cute place and nice atmosphere, it's just a shame the service couldn't match it. The desserts were nice though. I wouldn't come out of my way to go here but if I'm in the area I may stop by if it's not too busy.
P. P.
Beautiful place to visit, food was very good. A little disappointed in the reception as l had a booking but was kept waiting for approx 10 mins while they got our table ready. Other than that good. Well worth a visit. As the venue has open ventilation felt comfortable in this Covid era.
O. K. (.
Awesome venue, the service here is top draw.
Unusual and tasty cocktails are a must to be tried!
The food as i passed tables did look good.
The muscles were brilliant 🙏🏼
But do not order the wagyu beef fillet steak. It looked more like a sirloin cut super thin, and was annoyingly more than half made up of inedible gristle.
A real shame as I'm visiting from London and I planned to bring my large family group I'm staying with to here for a meal next week but this has made me think twice!
S. B.
The potting shed is an absolute MUST when you are in the Sydney area. Food and drinks were incredible, atmosphere was crazy beautiful and the live music was breathtaking. Trust me on this, get the lamb shoulder.
M. C.
Their service attitude is great. Although it was busy on Sunday, the wait was worth it. All three dishes I ordered were very delicious. Especially the chicken in that bread, it tasted great.
E. M.
Delicious food, great staff and a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a cute dinner date!

One of my best food experiences in sydney. I tried the waygu rump steak and my wife went for the pan roasted cone bay barramundi. We finished with a coconut and passion slice for desert. Not only the place is nice but also the surroundings (i think there's another food place in the area but it was closed).

From the moment we entered the pot shed, we were greeted by a magical and fantastical atmosphere and sight of wonder. The whole place is decorated with nice greenery and it feels like a perfect wedding venue.
We ordered a beer, the Zucchini, Persimmon and Feta Salad, and Glazed Pork Ribs. The ribs were quite delicious and the side cabbage was quite nice. The portion was a bit small however, I think it's a bit overpriced. The Zuchini was flavored quite nicely and is perfect if you have a dish with meat.
Overall, this place is a beautiful place and for that it deserves a generous 4 stars.

Hands down the greenest restaurant/bar place to visit in Sydney. Following a local’s recommendation to the Grounds of Alexandria, we strolled through the alleys filled with plants and flowers, Potting Shed was hidden from its own outgrown garden with different types of flowers and plants. Sitting inside and listening to different bird chirping, one would mistaken to be at a botanic garden rather than at a restaurant. We ordered couple drinks and had a pleasant reading session, a must visit for tourists.
🍡Must order🍡

Always love the opportunity to call into the Grounds ,Potting shed weather dropping in on passing or for an organised function . The atmosphere is fantastic, a happy environment to be in . The concept is unique, food and beverages are also very accommodating and enjoying 🙏👍🏻☝️ (Wheelchair friendly )😉

I have been here for three times already. I recommend their dinner. 👍
But not the afternoon menu, because there are not many choices and the portions are quite less.
L. H.
Great for ambience and themed décor!
Price is a bit more on the expensive side but the staff are very lovely!
Just note that it gets really busy so service may be a bit slow especially during weekends.
A. G.
Great atmosphere! The service was not bad. The food was good, the cocktails were a little on the weak side and a little overpriced, but tasty. The wine was good but they barely poured anything into the glass.
R. M.
Good food, however service was slow- had to call a waiter over to take our order and the cocktails were tasty but not alcoholic enough for the price.
S. R.
Long overdue to visit this much hyped about venue. All I can say is that I wish I visited earlier!
Staff impeccable to cater for the abundance of attendees and the turn around of the kitchen to the table was great.
The 5 star review is a true review to the place, product and customer service.
We visited on Good Friday, with reservation, and with a mass of eager diners in the line to get in, the staff from hostess to server and drinks server where exceptional in what was a intense environment. In no way was pressured or hurried to leave the table after finishing wining and dining to let the next attendees to take residence
On to the food:
Being a die hard steak lover, when there is one to choose from the menu; I was concerned. Though, the order to be cooked blue was on point! Quality of beef was exceptional as well.
My partner ordered the Snapper and, unfortunately was placed a full bodied, head, bones and all, snapper fish. This was a major let down to the experience as the constant picking and cautious mouthfuls for fish bones was not outlined in the menu. Like every other venue I’ve been to, they really must outline the fact it is a whole fish on the menu.
5 star review is a true reflection to the venue, minus the tedious downer of the menu discrepancy.
Would highly recommend and, personally, will be back again for more

Booked a table for lunch during the week, but still had to wait about 15mins before we could be seated because the place was so busy. Ordered the steak and found it hard to cut. Nice place and ambience. But food was expensive and everything (seating end food) takes a while.
D. L.
Absolutely awesome!
Gorgeous scenery that gives a refreshing vibe to the city. Going to walk down the isle of the main attraction after dinner is always a blessing. The staff are friendly and always will try to help you wherever they can.
The prices are fair for what is 5* food. And the parrot is n awesome sight to see!
I will always love the grounds, it holds a special place in my heart.
R. R.
Very cute and nice atmosphere. Make sure you make a booking! Slow/ forgetful service, but only because it’s so busy. The pumpkin gnocchi is not very much food for the $28 price tag. Cute place to check out.
F. H.
My photos never do justice, especially to this place. It's like sitting in a tropical rain forest (especially for us as it started raining when we got there). We had a parrot next to our table, he was beautiful but I wasn't sure if this was the right place to have such an animal. He looked great and I know that if parrot's are unhappy, stressed or bored they pull their own feathers out so they must be doing something right. ANYWAY... I digress..... Food GREAT, service GREAT, cost GREAT, toilets not so GREAT, but they were ok. We had a burger and chips served on a shovel, I'm not a fan of gimmicky things like this but I had to chuckle as this one. I've had my dinner served up on roof tiles, bits of slate, mini shopping trolleys, and mini barrels but this was a first and I actually quite liked it.

Awesome buzz with beautiful interior, shared plate food, great to have gathering and parties with cozy environment. Loved it

The roast chicken is a simple goodness, highly recommended. As for dessert, any mango lovers don’t want to miss out that beautiful, yet delicious mango plate.

Amazing experience. I feel like I'm dining inside a garden with lots of bling bling fairy lights. Food is more than fair. I like the salmon poke bowl like salad the most.

The Potting Shed, part of The Grounds, offers one of the most seeked and pleasant venues for a great night 🙌
We came here hungry so we ordered: their Mussels, Burger, Pumpkin Pita and Steak. All of it accompanied with their Piña Colada and some delicious beer on tap 🍺
The food was spectacular, full of flavour and fully deserved a 5 out of 5. We simply had the best of times here ❤
Thank you for having us

Such a beautiful place! Staff was very friendly and the food is delicious. Totally recommend the mussels and The Shed dessert. Baby changing facilities could be improved. Very cramp and fold down change table is high. No place for a pram.
L. Z.
Good taste so great, love the way they cooked the mussels. Good recommendation from staff. Got there on a weekday with best friend. Was crowded too. :D
B. S.
What an awesome day. The restaurant looks absolutely amazing. The staff were great and the food was wonderful. I had the duck sausages and they were delicious. The prawn tacos and the chicken tenders were also amazing.
M. H.
Had a delightful lunch in this charming Cafe, big menu, reasonable prices, very picturesque
J. N.
Great customer service! The mussels with coconut juice were delicious. There’s a large selection of cool cocktails to choose from.
J. L.
Atmospheric and an Instagram worthy place. Drinks were unique with ok food.
T. J.
Wonderful atmosphere within a greenhouse style outdoor/indoor area. This place is perfect for a lovely spring day as there is lots of natural light and air flow. Not crowded at all and most definitely wheelchair accessible. Both of our meals were top class for the value, closest to fine dining but without the price tag to go with it. Definitely recommend to anyone however parking is limited and is almost always full, and the nearest train station is a 10 or 15 mins walk depending on lights.
J. B.
Nice staff here, they're super friendly, really helpful and attentive. The food is pretty good too. It's a little expensive, but you're paying for the name, and the nice garden surrounds. If you're lucky you can get a Hi-5 from the local Macaw (bird).
M. C.
Great food and awesome vibe. But there might be a line so do come earlier to register for the seating. While waiting you get to explore the market so it wont feel like a long time. 👍
D. N.
The Potting Shed at The Grounds is always a great idea. Yes, the staff are not always the friendliest, but the food is awesome and the atmosphere is amazing. Share plates are a great way to taste the menu, and the cocktails are fantastic.

Unfortunately, and for my first time here, I didn't really enjoyed the experience. I am working close by and always wanted to try this restaurant. We went there on a Thursday night for my mum's last night in Sydney before she returns home.
The food was good overall but I have to point out the service was relatively (if not very) bad. We had to wait quite a long time before someone took our order (we ended up asking a waiter) and asked 3 times for tap water. It wasn't that busy this Thursday at 8-8:30pm, hence our surprise that took so long. One of the food was forgotten during the order. Waiter/waitress taking my friend's plate when he hadn't finished eating. Mistakes can be made and that's alright but we had a bit too many in one night. Finally, while eating, we were told we had to order desert quickly as kitchen was closing. Knowing all prior delays we had, we thought it wasn't the best move to make...but it's totally understandable that the kitchen has to close at some point and we ordered desert while finishing our meals.
Apart from the above we enjoyed the food and desert was tasty (brownies and Panna Cotta). One suggestion I would make is about the dishes descriptions in the menu. They are not always matching what the meal is: the mushroom risotto with the duck is black barley with mushrooms and spinach made like a risotto (no rice). The sri Lankan shell curry is made of shells but also fish, crab, prawns. It would be great for the waiter/waitress to explain in details to customers so they know what to expect. In regards to the Sri Lankan curry I have to admit I wasn't expected unpeled crab legs, shells and prawns. Especially when they are mixed in a curry sauce. That's nearly impossible to eat them but taking them out and use your fingers.
The place is beautiful and that's a shame we couldn't experience it at its best. I'm not sure I'll come back knowing what I experience on my first time here.
D. A.
Beautiful atmosphere and decorations, sweets were amazing and beautifully presented.we enjoyed our time there. However , As I dine out regularly, I noticed that there is a trend that seems to be happening in restaurants these days as they add extra items into your bill and hope that it will not get noticed.its disappointing to see that it happened at this place too.
we split the bill at the end into three, my two other friends paid for their items first and the remaining of the bill meant to be $73 , the waiter said 90 and when I inquired that my items should add up to 73 he immediately removed about 4 items , coffee and drinks and said , "Oh, that's someone else's order".
My advice is check your items as restaurants want to make up for their loses someway or the other.
S. K.
Great food, never disappointing. Must visit if you’re in Sydney.
P. K.
We went on a public holiday and that too a hot day. Although we got a decent seating but there were hardly any fans working. The food was good but felt service wasn't very nice. Every staff members had different responses to the questions. We were really disappointed by the size of the drinks and the amount we paid. They looked really pretty but quantity and quality was not worth the price.
T. T. S.
An amazing experience. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is out of this world. And the staff is also kind and provide a good service. The food is great as well!

The greenery was gorgeous! The desserts were fabulous and the atmosphere quaint! A definite visit I would say.

I had a mid week date at Potting Shed and it was great. The service cannot be faulted, nor the food. The mussels were spot on and a good number of them. The lamb ribs were juicy and tender. Great atmosphere. It only loses a bit of the shine because the candlelight dinner for 2 that cost a bit extra fell short of expectations, in terms of the arrangement and location within the restaurant.
p.s. Thanks Catherine :) and sorry about the initial charge figure I mentioned in my review. I have amended it accordingly.
P. K.
Recommend reservation!
Busy place with really nice staff!
Highly recommend frozen tea. Is delicious.

UPDATE - The Potting Shed offered us a redo and we had a lovely time. The table was ready and waiting and we had Billie take care of us throughout the sitting. I started with desert which was amazing (Banoffee Pie) and highly recommend the Tiger Prawn salad.
* * * * *
Paid for a special (romantic) table upon booking but their system was down. So on arrival so we had to remind them. We came early to catch a drink before seating but we’re left at the bar longer as they were running behind. We booked for 8:30pm and got our food by 9:10pm. The bartender saved the night with some cocktails but I would expect one to be complimentary to appease the understaffed and overbook environment.
Once at the table it was a lovely setup however there was a super bitter garnish on my dish that took half the dish to over come. Staff soon came to tell us the kitchen was closing so I skipped dessert but then was told that I still could have ordered.
If we had one dedicated wait person take care of us throughout the night it would be less confusing, having different people approach with different serving styles and information dampened the romantic feel we were going for.
S. R.
My family and I were served by Dana, who was friendly, attentive and very patient with us, so thank you! We ordered four different meals to share, and the dishes came out hot and delicious in a surprisingly quick, timely manner. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very hip and relaxing. We also got to see and take photos at the installations on the grounds, a cherry on top.

Love the look of this place. And really enjoyed the food, we also got a bowl of Pimm's which was delicious. We were served by a really friendly waiter who was great at ensuring everything was going well, but wasn't overbearing. A really nice experience.
B. O.
Amazing food and the service was like no other. We were served by Monique who was very nice and welcoming, she also made sure that we were all looked after.
During dinner my niece saw a small spider and started to throw a tantrum as she has phobia of spiders. Catherine came over and was very helpful with calming the situation. She had made the kids comfortable and even took the time to show them fluffy the bird, which the kids loved.
I would highly recommend this place, for the food but mostly for the lovey service!
A. P.
I love this place so much ! Im still miss the vongole past, the pasta ever!! And steak also fantastic. Its kind of expensive but worth it. And this place is decorated with alot of pots and flowers, atomosphere was beautiful as well

Great vibe here if you like garden settings. Friendly staff and good food.

Good food but 4/5 menu items I ordered were not available.
We went on a Sunday night to The Potting Shed, when we decided on what to order, of the 5 dishes we asked, they were out of 4, including basics like cauliflower and prawns.
The food we ended up ordering was good, and the service was great. But it’s a bad prepared kitchen as it wasn’t even a very busy night.
L. C.
A great setting and good food (though a bit overpriced for what it is) - but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the terrible service.
Upon arrival we were shown to our table - and immediately realised that all the seats were soaking (as in, as if someone had just hosed them down). When we told the waitress, she said she'd get something to cover them... Then returned with a dirty and also wet tarpaulin. We refused to sit on that so asked to move to another table.
When we ordered our mains and I asked if the main I was ordering contained soy, the waitress said she'd check but never came back. We were then left waiting almost a full hour for our mains (with a toddler and newborn baby in tow, this was not ideal). When we asked about our food, we were told twice that it would be ready 'very soon'.
When I needed somewhere to change my baby's nappy, one of the waitresses ushered me into what was clearly a private wedding party and told me to walk to the other end where there was a family room. By the time I was half way through, event staff stopped me and, quite rightly, wanted to know what on earth I was doing. As I was already there, they let me use the baby change, but it was embarrassing, to say the least.
By the time our daughter's dessert was ready (which was actually an ice lolly, so not sure why that would take any time to prepare) we had been at the table for more than 2 hours - which is interesting, considering they were so busy we were strictly told on arrival that we had to give up the table within 2 hours.
We couldn't wait to leave in the end, which is a real shame because the food, ambience and the Cinderella theme were wonderful and it should have been a lovely lunch.

Let me just say the FOOD is amazing !!!! The atmosphere is great the greenery is wow. Great staff prompt service. Dinner was amazing!
S. I.
The food was pretty tasty and unique with plenty of options available. My partner and I got mussels, chips and pesto pasta to share which were lovely and great portions.
A little slow with the drink service but other than that would recommend!
D. L.
Beautiful place good for taking pictures. Not cheap food and drinks. The kangaroo is not bad.
R.
Delicious but one of staff took our order wrong so we needed to wait 30min more despite we’ve waited 40min for rest of food.
B. M. e.
Loved the potting shed. Cocktails and food was amazing
Cakes and flowers beautiful.

We did have to wait for our table even though we had a reservation, however while waiting got to try the amazing cocktails. Food was great, will definitely be back.

I am currently following a very strict elimination diet to test food allergies/intolerances (low-FODMAP). This is very difficult to accommodate for however the team at The Potting Shed worked to ensure there was something I could eat. Together we came up with a dish comprised of pork, potatoes, squash and zucchini (pic attached), and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious, thanks!!
K. K.
Busy place. Online booking is a must and pretty easy
Food awesome. Service very friendly
Definitely worth more visits

This place has the best lunch options, love the sweet potato, corn and smoky BBQ sauce. Plenty of salad options, drinks and on a sunny day it’s just wonderful
A. K.
Fresh delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and great service.
W. J.
Amazing Atomersphere, if you like enjoy your food in gardens, this is a good place to go.
A. L.
It's ok- I really think you come for the ambience more than anything. The food is nice, the staff seem nice (though very rushed, which is expected seeing how busy it is) but you just expect a bit more for the price. Not just in terms of quantity, but for flavours. Nothing was really wow.. The decor is very beautiful and the music really suited.
A. G. U.
We ended our time at The Grounds Of Alexandria at The Potting Shed. What drew us in was the antics of the macaw, who I believe rejoices in the name of Fluffy!
I was also taken by the themed decor, which brought me joy!
There are a few other people celebrating their birthday while there, which added to the mood.
The coffees were good, too.
I would love to go back to enjoy it some more!

We dined here for my daughters 19 bday at the Potting shed. Beautiful place surrounding by plants, felt like we were having dinner in a forest.
However, A bit disappointed the amount it took for our server to come when we were seated, but once he finally arrived after 10-15min or so he was quick in getting everything sorted out from drinks, entree to main.
Everyone’s meal was great except for mine. I had Mahi Mahi with potatoes and beans and it was very tasteless. It almost felt like I was eating hospital meal. Just looked as everything was thrown on the plate and then served. So disappointed in that. Drinks are a bit pricey!
Other than that it is an absolute lovely place to attend and have a meal.
S. L.
Go there for the ambiance but not the food.
The staff is nice and very professional. The place is beautiful but a bit packed.
The food is not remarkable and a bit overpriced. The steak wasn't great, the lamb quite dry...
The moroccan iced tea was delicious but for 7 dollars it was in a very small glass.

Love love LOVE this place! Really cool vibe, great staff and delicious cocktails - absolutely mind blowing creativity in presentation. Have been twice but loved the cocktail so much I had it both times.

Staff is very friendly, food was very tasty and I love the rustic ambience of the place. Definitely recommend.
R. N.
Really delicious...very nice and good place to go, different than the others 🤙
C. B.
The staff are very friendly but they are too busy - as a result the service is non existent - more than 20 minutes wait to order drinks, more than another 20 minutes wait for drinks to arrive at the table. The venue was not full. This happened multiple times in our visit so didn't seem like a one off mistake. Not really acceptable for the price you're paying here - really ruins the experience.
A. Q.
Not too bad food. A bit too crowded (always) for my liking.

I'm happy. Good food, lay back. Nice, cocktails. $$ good ambiance. Beautiful decoration. " is a garden". Good & fast service. Lovely evening.

I booked a dinner for our anniversary, it was really nice atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices and good service.

Feels like you are dining in a tree house. Love the atmosphere & cocktails. The food is standard.

Always a favourite! Despite being a cold night, the heaters onsite actually kept The Potting Shed really warm. I loved the barramundi with squid ink pasta, and the muscles are always a hit!! Will definitely be back soon :)

Great atmosphere with friendly staff! Interesting menu with descent selection. Their kids menu is quality food of good serving size. It had the best kids cheese burger we've tried so far! Their location is a bonus as there are other activities you can do depending the time you go.
K. B.
The waitress was great but we booked for a highchair and on arrival were told "sorry but a larger booking came in and they needed it". We were also seated near the open air on a cool day and the overhead heater was not working.
Food was good and a great atmosphere but front of house need to work on their management and family friendly skills.
k. j.
Great Staff and great food. Always a memorable experience when i come here.

We had a group of 6 - a friends night out as a last minute plan. This place was on the to-do list and we are all very grateful we did it. The restaurant was very busy indicative of it's popularity. Although we had a booking for a certain time, we arrived early with the intent of a drink before dinner - however we were looked after immediately and were given a table for our night to begin. The drinks were interesting with a fantastic array of cocktail orders (a deconstructed Bloody Mary being my fave) and then the food was incredible. So many flavours and that excited us and left us all very satisfied. The ambiance of the place adds to the whole experience and the service was fantastic also. Could not say a bad thing about our experience here at The Potting Shed - Highly Recommended

Had such a lovely wonderful dinner here on a Wednesday night, the service and food were excellent and I cannot fault my experience here one bit! Portion size was good too and we had the friendliest service as well which made all the difference. We ordered arancini and fried cauliflower for starters, the gremolata crumbed fillets for mains and banoffee pie for dessert even though we were so full already! Loved the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo drink as well, so pretty and delightful!
C. B.
This place is quite nice and the service is pretty good however the food is just so overpriced. The cheeseburger at $26 was quite nice, but nothing special. The chips were good however. The dessert was $16 for the caramel cake. I was expecting a decent portion but it was quite small, and only a tiny scoop of ice cream cake with it.

Last night my girlfriend and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary as a couple with an amazing dinner at the Potting Shed as part of the final night of the Aladdin Installations and special menu; and we absolutely had a fantastic night.
We were served by Roisin who was very much approachable, kind and always served us with such a big smile; thank you for taking care of us and serving us, you did an amazing job on such a busy night. We commend her on her excellent customer service.
We ordered from the normal menu, my girlfriend had the buttermilk chicken cutlets which were amazing and I had the pork loin cutlets that were just cooked perfectly. We also ordered from the special menu; the Aladdin Cocktail was delicious and very unique as it was served in a genie pot! So cool! And we finished the night with the Aladdin Desert Platter; everything was gone within seconds, it wasn’t too sweet for us, it was just right.
Ambience of The Potting Shed was delightful, considering that it was the last night of the Aladdin Installations.
We had a wonderful night and we are excited for what installation will be next and any special menu that may come with it; we are sure to be back, one of our favourite places to dine as a couple!
R. C.
We love the place, is one of our favourite restaurants in Sydney. The restaurant is beautiful and the whole area around the Grounds are worth a visit. In special women tend to have a soft spot for its decoration. The restaurant offers good food, good service, good drinks options and parking. Highly recommended.
A. K.
Atmosphere is really nice. Great weekend vibes.
The typical wait is not so great, so make sure you come early.
w.
Excellent food, large servings (we had the group menu which was amazing). A bit noisy and the seating was not that comfortable (large table with high stools), I prefer lower chairs with a back on them. The service was good. I am now obsessed with the buttermilk chicken but the steak was also great and the potato salad was yummy, Servings of wine were small. Great atmosphere.
D. L.
What a lovely atmosphere. You'll most likely have to wait if you don't book. The place is gorgeous! And the food delicious. We especial enjoyed the pumpkin along with cocktails
M. T.
W.O.W food was potentially the best I've ever had. Travelled from Wollongong off a reccomadation from a friend. The chips were easily the best I've had.
The atmosphere is great, staff friendly and nice. Tipped a fiver. Well worth the trip.
The gardens are beautiful!!
C. K.
Nice environment and friendly staff but the food was really average . I should've chosen another place to have a nice dinner for our anniversary. If I go there again I would only order some drink and chips that's all.
S.
Very small but delicious portion of food. Bit pricey on the side. Very long wait for lunch or brunch. Nice deco though

Don’t listen to the negative reviews of this place! Every decor and food element has been specifically and cleverly chosen with sophistication and creativity. We had the green pasta and halloumi salad and they were next level. People who complain about the portion size or price can eat at McDonald’s. This place is a gem and we’re picky as hell.

Book a table online, that way you've booked and you've given your details complying with NSW Health requirements.
They will send you a text an hour before confirming.
The space itself at night with the lights and decor and heating make for an enjoyable relaxed evening.
There was a pitfire out front with complimentary marsh mellows. Plenty of parking out front and around the back.
Staff are attentive, friendly and care about your dining experience. It's clear they pride themselves in their work and rightly so.
The kitchen allowed my wife and I to order the tasting menu which usually requires a group of 6 at $68pp. Be warned, the servings were generous and the food delicious, something you don't usually get with tasting menus. And they gave me containers to take the left overs home which I'm eating now as I write this.
I didn't take photos because I wanted to be selfish and enjoy the food in the moment with my wife. So you'll have to go and experience the potting shed for yourself.
Note. We booked a table at 5.30pm when the restaurant was only starting to fill. By 7.30pm, it was in full swing so kitchen may not be as accomodating.
No, I'm affiliated with the restaurant. I'm a pragmatic reviewer.

Very nice restaurant. Great atmosphere, looks like you are in a barn. Lot of healthy food here
C. L.
Seems always busy. Reservations recommended.
C. D. Y.
The bun is pretty good - $17
S. H.
Beautiful place and great food. You can check out Kevin Bacon the piggie whilst you're there!
C. H.
The Mozzarella Tacos were a phenomenal delight. Do ya self a favour and snag a few. Probably a new favorite dish of mine. Keen to go back for more. You'll love them too.
I wish they came in bigger portions because you only get two. Left craving for more.
The potting shed is a little pricey. BUT! Atmosphere is 10/10. Greenery everywhere and the aesthetics are cute. Perfect if you dont mind paying a little extra for a beautiful experience.
Side note: When your headed to the bathroom if you look to your right you'll see a cute gardners nook. Cute space.
W. K.
I've eaten here a few times and the food has always been good. The pot pie was delicious. The most recent time I had the bowl of steamed mussels and it was great. Just be wary of the little hair thing inside the actual mussel when you eat them. You MUST book before hand though as it is always busy with a line.
A. M.
Absolutely amazing decor and atmosphere - totally beautiful location, Food was delicious (I was super full by the end of it though!).
We shared chilli squid, mussels, garlic bread and sliders to start. (The sliders were DELICIOUS! Very unexpected flavour, not your typical slider but definitely recommended). I had the pink snapper for main and it was beautiful; perfectly cooked with great flavours. (I would have finished it all if I wasn't so full!)
Service at some points was a bit haphazard, just in terms of getting wine/the right amount of glasses/clearing plates etc. but it got better as the night went on. Very friendly staff, Mains sizes were very generous so if you're going to have entrees and mains, then only pick a small few to start off cos you will be very full!
I went here for my birthday and I was even surprised with a birthday cake (they allow you to bring your own) and was very thoughtfully serenaded by the waiters! Overall, highly recommended and will be back.
J. L.
Lovely setting and relaxing atmosphere. Reasonably priced, not a lot of choice though. Friendly staff. Can get quite crowded on weekends.
S. H.
I'd like to start by saying the atmosphere of this space is WOW!! Hanging plants, neon lights, rustic finishings ... definitely sets a great mood. I booked a table for 6:45pm and we were seated immediately, our waitress was prompt and readily available at all times. BUT the reason my review is a 3 star, not a 5 ... is the food. To be honest ... I found what my friend and I ate to be rather obscure. I had the nectarine salad with poached chicken and she had the king prawn salad. There were a whole bunch of herbs and additions to both salads which I didn't think married together, and as a result, I left half on my plate. We did also order the large bowl of steamed mussels, which were actually reaaaaally nice!! I would like to come back and try a couple more things on the menu. The place seems really popular so maybe we just ordered the wrong things?
S. T.
We had a delicious lunch at The Potting Shed. I took my family here for a treat and WOW we just loved it. The menu is extensive and varied. We shared the Spiced Beef Empanadas, Pork Belly Sliders, Salt and Pepper Cuttlefish and a Nectarine, Fennel and Goats Cheese salad. A total taste sensation. Their wine list was also extensive and the service was impeccable. We really enjoyed the rustic decor and being surrounded by greenery. Such a wonderful experience.
R. D.
What a great fun experience with the Cinderella coach and story . Good food good coffee too
c.
Food was great no surprise there. Every time I go to the Potting shed I order the Pumpkin Fatteh it never disappoints. I also ordered the Fried Mozzarella Tacos today and they were so yummy, we were tempted to get more. Please keep them on the menu.
C. L.
pretty place but really average food
J. Y.
Overall is good. The 3 stars are for the long waiting time and the crowds. We waited for 30 mins to have a sit and another 30 mins to finally had our dinner after we had ordered the dishes. The staff is kind though. Actually a good place to hang out with friend and take pics if you are OK with the constant interruptions by the pass-by people.
b. b.
Had a lovely experience here, a small group of us went celebrated a brunch for my brother's birthday. Can be hard to get a seat but we were lucky. Ordered a lovely selection of dishes that could be shared - would highly recommend the leak tart; general consensus said it was the favoured dish. Staff were very nice and upon request our dessert came with a candle accompanied by a band of jovial waiters enthusiastically belting out happy birthday. Added plus, they sung his name correctly- Real effort! Thanks for a great day!
S. C.
No words to say it's beauty. Lovely place and yummy foods
Z. R.
One of the most consistently beautiful meals I have ever experienced. The ambience and surrounding were perfect and the food was amazing. Can not recommend highly enough. I generally have high expectations, service and quality. All were met plus plus. Spent $330 for 3 sharing plates 7 mains desert cocktails and beers. Highlight was the shed sundae... Decent!
A. S.
We had our dinner this Monday evening to welcome our friends back to Sydney. Nearly half of the dishes were not available. And BYO is not allowed which quite disappointed us. We ordered a botte of wine, but we would like to have the wine we brought as well. Cause the wine is really meaningful to us all and it could be a special moment for us to enjoy it at this lovely place. A surcharge for BYO would be better. Except that, the beef cheek was pretty good, the piggy milkshake looks really nice but too sweet.
M. N.
Great place to take amazing photos 🤩 Delicious food but quite expensive :)
A. V.
Had a wonderful Xmas lunch with my friends and colleagues on Sunday at The Potting Shed.. Food was wonderful, Service was incredible. We were seated in a 'Spot on' area surrounded by exquisite plants in beautiful pots and overhanging baskets. Our set menu was delicious very good value for the money, there was so much food, we just couldn't finish it all. Basked in the sunshine glistening through the canopy of creeping plants over our heads, sipping cocktails in the afternoon. Good food and company. Desserts were to die for. Catherine (Cat) and her team did a tremendous job looking after us non-stop . Our young waitress Steph was so attentive and was gracious enough to take our photo. Alex and Isaac were very kind and considerate and were always there to fill our glasses all the time.. Beautiful day had by all.. I would definitely go back again to taste more culinary delights...Thanks The Potting Shed.....from Angie..

One of my top 3 restaurants to go to in Sydney. Creates an atmosphere like I've never seen before. Grest for hot days where the mist for the plants cools everyone down. Dogs are welcome which is an absolute bonus. The manager there is always so attentive and goes out of her way to make your experience more personable. The food is fairly large when it comes to portion sizes and you'll be kicking yourself for not skipping breakfast. P. S. there's a big blue macaw!!!
H. F.
Great food and atmosphere...
Highly recommend
D. C.
Lovely happening place far from the usual Sydney outskirts. Great for family meals, or with friends and dates. The staff is very friendly and portions are generous. There is a lot of parking space outside. The whole area, the stalls, is worth a stroll. The restaurant can be very crowded during the weekends / holiday. Book in advance and be prepared for a loud place on peak hours.
J. P. M.
Very nice atmosphere, good food. I had kingfish beautifully cooked, not dry, not overcooked. My wife had gnocchi which was quite good as well. The only inconvenient is that they set wood fire outside and we got smoked. Btw there was marshmallows to roast in the fire. Customer service very good.
G. L.
Food is ok - can be a little hit-and-miss depending on how busy they are. The chicken dishes are nice. Good place to share. Value depending on what you order can be great to poor. Service staff can range from dismissive to friendly. Been here many times and we keep coming back, but maybe not as frequent as we use to.
C. A.
Felt a bit rushed, one rude waiter stated, 'It's not my job' when we asked him for an extra side plate.
M.
Arrived about 11 on the Sunday before Christmas so it was busy, but we're able to get a table quickly. Coffee and chai were excellent, food was delicious (I had the haloumi salad, which was a very decent feed; lamb meatballs were also good). Loved the plants and roofing made the area cool on a warm day.
L. J.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, but I cannot say the same for the food. It’s too expensive for what it is. I ordered the half chicken, and it was probably just seasoned with salt and deep fried, nothing special about it, and just bland. My other friend ordered the burger; and the last one ordered the wagyu rump steak which arrived after my friend had finished his burger and half his chips. The steak was well done, when she wanted a medium rare and the bone marrow was just oil. We didn’t have time to order a new one. Giving it a 3 star review because the food setting was nice and the staff were polite. Apart from that, the only reason to visit this place is for Instagram.

First time at The grounds, with some friends.
Busy Saturday night and still, the service was very good, the waiting staff took care of us.
Quick drinks
Good, simple and cozy food for an easy night out, pricewise for being in Sydney is quite fair and the portions are abundant.
We tried the Tuna tostadas that were really good and flavourful.
I personally got the Duck & Chicken liver paté (a bit salty in my opinion, the honey doesn’t help cutting the saltiness at all but just covers the paté flavour) the figs were nice roasted.
Pumpkin Fatteh, was really nice (a pumpkin with a good flavour is like a lottery) although I wish to give a tip about not just tossing parsley, mint to cover the pumpkin itself (i know it is in the salad section) but a salad of mint, parsley and chives is not really a salad but more a good combo to make a play with salsa verde to accompany the sweetness of the plate.
I chose on purpose two dishes with honey to see how worked, was a bit too overwhelming overall.
A friend got the pork medallion and she loved it as my partner got the tagliolini with seafood and they were good aswell.
I will definitely come back, was a good experience for all of us.
T. K.
We came here on a Saturday, just before lunch to try and beat the crowd. We queued for about 20 minutes to get a buzzer which put us into another queue with about an hour wait.
The buzzer meant we could walk around the markets and the other areas of the grounds... It wasn't really my thing - but I can see why it might appeal to others. There was a lot of people posing for selfies with food and drinks..
Once we got in and sat at a table, the service was good! Our group had some sharing plates, but I regret not getting the steak or fish & chips.. The food is pretty good!
Unfortunately the crowds and the wait took the shine off an otherwise good experience.
c. l.
It is better to book the table before showing yourself at door of the restaurant. It is soo busy at Saturday's night.
Z. W.
A lovely spot for a special occasion, the ambiance here is second to none. Surrounded by beautiful interior gardens and subtle lighting, The Potting Shed has a wonderful, natural vibe to it. The menu is expensive and at times, a little over-complicated but the quality and presentation are stunning.
J. N.
Love the lush greenery and vibe of the venue. Small and large seating arrangements available. Great menu with gluten free, vegetarian etc. options. Great cocktails too
J. J.
I ended up coming back the next night once I had discovered this place. Delicious food, friendly service, and great, relaxed atmosphere.
Especially good for someone celebrating their Birthday - if you let the staff know, a group of them bring out the dessert and sing Happy Birthday.
O. M.
Great food, beautiful plants.
The parrot very entertaining
G. G.
Went there for lunch.
The sirloin steak was really good and the summer fruit pot had the best fruits I've had in a long time, my favorite.
We got lemonades that were great too.
It's really packed on weekends so it's better to come later but the service gets a bit too much relaxed.
N. s.
Friday night, dinner time, the staff were great, the food was prompt AND truly delicious. Theo's pulled pork burger! Just what i needed. Wait staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. We'll be back for sure
J.
The decor is absolutely innovative. But the music is too loud and noisy ... Undermining the fairy tale like atmosphere.
Staff here are so lovely!
Personally speaking, I think they should improve their menu... The best thing turned out to be juice and fries... Sorry, chips, here
S. D.
Great customer service. Friendly staff. Awesome decor. But overpriced and food is average. Skip it if you are vegan. They still haven't planned to include your needs in the menu.
A. D.
Tasty food and really nice scenery. Table service could be improved but is a worth it compromise for the experience. Staff are very accommodating.
C. d. R.
Love this place.
Their food can get quite pricey but I haven't been disappointed yet. One dish I really like is their buttermilk chicken in a bun. It was one of the off menu special that day so I'm not sure if they will have it again.
The service can get quite slow if it's really busy, but the staff is really nice and will readily explain their menu and other offerings for that day.
I. H.
Great setting. Great food. Friendly staff.
x.
The ambience of this place is amazing. It’s nicely hidden treasure, with lots of plants that gives a cool temperature on a hot day. Night time is magical. The wait staff are friendly. It was our first time, so we ordered the Potting Shed platter, lamb tartare, scampi and swimmer crab pasta, Roast Chicken, mango and macadamia creme and strawberry peaches and creme cheesecake. Couldn’t fault the platting but for the lamb tartare and pasta, I wouldn’t recommend it. There wasn’t enough scampi and crabs, I felt I ordered a bowl of cooked pasta. The lamb was a let down and forgettable or not worth mentioning. Beef would have been a better choice. Pairing for the tartare was bleah. We had the runs the next day. Means meat was not fresh.
Other dishes are their saving grace. Chicken was juicy and tender, the platter - too many pickled items, desserts are a must try!
S. F.
Impressive dessert, attention to details and absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend these
J. S.
The venue has a unique theme that adds to the ambiance, plants! This brings fine dining into a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great service, bookings recommended and dont be scared to push for your booking at a later time. I chose 8pm that way you actually get a booking and its not as busy.
B. N.
Had lunch there last Sunday with friends.Great atmosphere! Busy place specially on weekends .Would recommend to book in advance.Food was great. The rib steak was cooked to perfection & the dessert was just to die for. Fancy presentation.Exec.Chef Paul McGrath is the man of the show.:)
J. A.
Incredibly unique restaurant/bar with very causal vibes, however the prices are a little too high for the food.
L. W.
Great food and service fantastic venue
A. P.
Really enjoyed my time here. Have gone back a few times. Yummy food and drinks. One let down is that they have sold out of a few items on the menu each time ive been. Just would recommend ordering your food before 6pm to ensure you have a range of menu items.
N. W.
The pumpkin fatteh is simply amazing. Other items on the menu are sure to impress. Great cocktails, beautiful venue, great service - I keep coming back. The open air feel is refreshing and helps maintain a relaxed atmosphere that doesnt get too loud - always love going to a venue where I can carry a conversation without yelling.
E. P.
Nice atmosphere and friendly stuff but didn't appreciate my burger being served on a shovel. The burger itself wasn't the best one I had either. I did like the mussels though - great flavour!
h. h.
Lovely atmosphere and one of the best meals we had in Sydney.
C. W.
Great place, unusual in a good way, great food and surroundings
J. J.
I do have one problem with Tho Potting Shed is that I don’t live closer so I can visit more often. Everything is perfection, food, service and atmosphere.
A. N.
Great place for a weekend brunch. The food was average but it’s the experience that makes you want to come back. The markets around it is great to go to after lunch and the parrot there is super cute :)
Would definitely recommend it if you have not yet been.
J. T.
Great beers on tap, lovely garden style cocktails for the ladies and great food. A share style menu is great for picking at while catching up. It can get busy here so if you have a group be sure to book as it can get very cosy.
C. T.
Lovely green atmosphere with hanging pot plants, and a trained parrot as an pleasant surprise. Serving size adequate, friendly service, but somewhere on the pricey side. Beware of dining time limit as well.
B. Y.
Dishes are to be shared. Food was over hyped but maybe because my expectations were high. Overall the venue itself is very nice and lots of greenery, dog friendly and families seem to make it a day out
S. M.
Great food, and hearty servings! They have a strange starting time for ordering mains but overall their service is awesome and food tastes great. Been 3-4 times and each time it's amazing! Highly recommended
N. B.
This place is really. There are lots of plants and flowers hanging out of the ceiling. If you're lucky, you'll be greeted by a cheeky parrot at the entrance and maybe see it throwing a tantrum with its food!
The food is also really nice. Hard to not recommend it.
If you go there at midday, don't forget to see the florist next to it and the rest of the Grounds of Alexandria.
L. G.
We walked up to the front of the Resturant and there was a wheel barrel with a small fire crackling. Sticks and marshmallows were placed beside the wheel barrel. Who does this?! The potting shed is beautiful! A botanical wonderland with a real Macow parrot flying around. The food was exceptional and would highly recommend this place to people, especially groups!
M. D. M.
stunningly beautiful! great food and drinks with great service!! extremely rare!! this place is a huge favourite and I highly recommend!
D. F.
A creative environment of botanical plants, table service quick and responsive. Food was good........try to miss the lunch time on a Saturday. It is very loud with a lot of younger families.
F. F.
We came late afternoon for lunch. All other venues had stopped serving however the potting shed was in full service and pumping.
However something went wrong with our order... The staff were attentive available and apologetic. Also compensated us for the delay in two of our dishes.
All staff were fantastic and made our visit great despite the set backs
J. K.
The grounds of Alexandria sets an intimidating environment and is largely considered the gold standard in brunch cuisine in Sydney. Well, the potting shed which acts as the unofficial nightlife arm of the business is one of the best examples of playing to your strengths I've seen in the food game. The place is a brilliant tour de force of favourite cuisine and classics mixed together to wonderful effect. Worth a visit!
K. B.
Good food, love the creative use of gardening tools and equipment. Relaxing atmosphere.
Service was a little lengthy but given how busy it was at lunch service it can be forgiven.
Not a whole lot on the menu for children though.
R. W.
Food is average and staff were not particularly attentive. We were also given some weird 3 person table that had a bench shared with two other tables - maybe ok if the place was busy but there were plenty of normal tables free and they remained that way for the duration of our meal.
Also, % charge on any credit payment.
S. C.
Love the Potting Shed. Table of 11, so we had the set menu, food was great, service was very good. Loved the pina coladas with real sun flowers. My visitors from UK, thought the real pig and chooks were great fun to see.
G. R.
It's a sweet venue, so meticulously taken care of and the menu is consistently excellent. Any choice satisfies. The drinks menu is also pretty well addressed. I will go back over and over no doubt.
N.
Good ambiance and service. Loved the coktails and veg starters menu. But mains for vegetarians had very limited choice. Would definitely go back and only order coktails and starters
C. E.
Have enjoyed dinner at The Potting Shed twice now. Must say Steph is an amazing young lady! Very knowledgeable, attentive and full of humour. Thank you Steph for topping off our evenings with great service. The meals and ambience is lovely!
The only drawback is that coffee is not available. I don't have a problem with that, however Hubby does! Please guys, put coffee on the menu and you will have much happier clientele!
B. M.
The cocktails were very nice as was the venue. Great decor and really interesting place to go. The food was average though, nothing was bad but nothing stood out.
S. O.
Great place for a casual get together with a funky atmosphere. Lots of care and attention has gone into the decor and the atmosphere is both classy and fun. A little bit on the dark and noisy side for big groups but otherwise awesome.
J. T. N.
Great food; cleared the entire plate. The space is so warm, inviting and looks amazing. My server tonight was a pleasure and made sure we had everything we needed :)
J. D.
So friendly, best decor, great array of food and drinks with so brilliant names. Such a fun loving, extravagant menu yet refined and well thought out
M. S.
Nice place. Lots of plants hanging around. The food was Okay. We had grilles grilled borrocilini, musaka and chicken. Musaka turned out the best. Borrocilini was also tasty but the chicken was tasteless. Overall, nice experience.
M. H.
10% surcharge for a group of 10+ is ridiculous, just a total money grab. Great setting but the food was average, just plated well for the insta crowd that appear to frequent. Won’t be rushing back.
K. B.
Service is not the best! Food is great.. must consider the winters and have heaters to make the environment more comfortable
K. W.
While waiting for a table at the Grounds Cafe I got impatient and tried some of the food at the Potting Shed, and I'll argue that it's some of the best casual dining experiences in Sydney, and my friend says he loved his Pork Belly sliders! Definitely a place to try if you're ever at the Grounds!
L. S.
Super helpful with special diets. The waiter went out of her way to ensure i was comfortable with the alterations to the meal to suit my allergies. The sirloin is consistently good.
D.
Service was excellent, servings generous and reasonably priced.
Atmosphere was just a little manic on the Saturday we were there with people everywhere. Although once in the garden it is quite tranquil.
J. C.
Nice atmosphere and good service but they didn't have the meal l chose from the menu.... which is strange...l was disappointed straight up. Drinks are grossly overpriced.
J. M.
Great food, great place for lunch. Good for groups. Nice to sit amongst the hanging pot plants. Food comes on shovels or big boards and water in pottery cups and old school jugs. Macaw at entrance that does tricks.
梁.
Staff are very friendly. The girl Dana helped us a lot. She made our day there. Highly recommended here.
R. Y.
Great atmosphere, love the theme of the "Potting Shed'. Food is pretty good, unique desserts (served on a shovel-like thing). Overall great little place. Gets quite busy on the weekends.
K. K.
I really enjoyed my time here. We had a degustation menu which was fantastic. The staff were friendly and the drink service was quick. Highly recommended for a night out.
h. s.
the baramundi spagetti is tasty ! i love it ! should try it as they cook it with squid ink so the spagetti is black colour..but the portion definetely so little..they should add the portion..as the price is not match with the portion..
D. A.
Great food, very nice place, beautiful plants, i would for sure go here again
C. S.
Ate in the private room called The Lock In - good food and service
j. d.
Fabulous night. Service was fantastic the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, highly recommend the gnocchi.
B. G.
Vibes for days at this place. Service has been a bit lacking the last couple of times we've visited, but the food is always solid. Good for an intimate meal, or a group gathering.
F. S.
It's a really nice garden themed place and the decor is pretty nice. The food was good but a tad greasy and pricey. Overall I would go again but only once in a while.
A. L.
I just love all the greenery and the idea of a "farm in the city" with the animals and fresh produce grown. The food is delicious and wholesome. I love the aesthetics, the firepit and marshmallows out the front, the macaw on the stand adding to the feel of a rainforest.
J. W.
The decor of this resturant is definitely insta worthy however the service was definitely lacking. We were left waiting close to 30mins before our order was taken, the meals all came out at different times. Left feeling disappointed.
p. d.
Liked the place and loved the food
J. K.
Great place, nice food, excellent service 👌🏻
m. g.
Nice cocktails and lovely ambience
M. R.
Had a great time with my partner the atmosphere was really nice. A little bit over priced but still a good time out server was Rosh who was fantastic and a pleasure.
S. A.
Perfect service. Reasonably priced. Steak pie was a little disappointing. Wings and cocktails were great. Again cannot fault the service at all. Will be back often.
A. V.
Food was well made as always, service was friendly and prompt. It's hard to match the lush surroundings, easy to have conversation and quality time with friends and family. Say hi to Fluffy!
S. S.
Pretty busy, but they let you know that when you ask to be seated. We waited a bit but were not disappointed! Food and atmosphere was great :)
L. X.
There is a huge, beautiful parrot welcoming you in at the door! The plants make this place so cozy and relaxing. Perfect for an after work drink and feed.
A. B.
Great food, nice environment
D. S.
Great atmosphere, great decor, great staff and service. Food is definitely the weak link here, not disappointing but nothing really to write home about. Would still recommend tho.
S. W.
Lots of atmosphere, friendly staff and yummy food
A. M. D.
Small wine list, especially by the glass. And thry ran out and didn't think to replace 2 of those options. So on a cold winter night you could order a white or a light red by the glass. Food is alright. Service can be patchy.
K. O.
This place is always a great hit. The staff are enthusiastic and the food is great. The wait times can be a little long but theirs plenty to do entertain yourself.
A. R.
I live for any place that uses plants as a main part of their decor and the potting shed takes it to the next level. The gardening trowel on the menu is also an nice touch.
M. W.
Nice location, very good food! Fantastic Place.
C. O.
Enjoyed the food
s. 1.
Amazing atmosphere, great food and cocktails.

Always love coming here when we're at the grounds
K. R.
So beautiful here! Me and my kids enjoyed it there also lots of photo opportunities!!
J. J. E. R.
Great sambo, but the prawn tacos are not really tacos and feel straight out of Woolworths
M. D.
Love going to the Potting Shed. Always fabulous atmosphere, friendly staff, great customer service and delicious food. Highly recommended!!
S. D.
Nice dinner as always small menu but nice dishes. Staff are very friendly. Get there early if you havnt booked.
Y. M. S.
The Shed Platter was nice and tasty. If you like beef get the Ribeye.... Awesome. Very cool vibe and decorations.
M. (.
A very nice, chilled experience. The food was delicious, the staff were great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. A great place to have lunch on a nice day.
A. N.
Overpriced menu with not a variety of choices. Very nice environment and setup for friend gatherings though. Staff were nice.
E. B.
Wagyu Tail was more fat than meat, not a very nice dish. Lovely decor, service was fine.
K. D.
We had a late lunch here and service was good, food was a little above average and drinks were overpriced. The atmosphere and decor was fantastic
e.
Slightly expensive but nice atmosphere and good service.
A. L.
It's an amazing experience all around
으.
Friendly staffs
Good service
Nice and fresh mood
Good food
M. T.
Lovely as always. Came for a sneaky cocktail before catching a flight. Parking mid to late afternoon generally easy in the street.
V. D.
Was going to the grounds but they are closed, so went here instead, really great views. The black mussels and the steak is delicious!
