Where do I start. It's located near the tennis court so pass the shops and main area. It's at the Riverside Cabins. It's worth the trek! Hubby and I were ravenous after our hike to the top of Mt Kosciusko and this was a fantastic reward. We ordered the Blue Cheese burger and chicken buffalo bill with sides of sweet potato chips and red onion rings. We smashed it. It was soooo good. The best burger we've had in the area! We could not fault anything. My chicken was char grilled and I loved the taste of the char. Hubby said his burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned well.. Even the sides were spot on the onion rings were perfect just crunchy and soft and sweet inside and so were my sweet potato fries. We had a nice spot outside too with river view! Service was great too. Super efficient and friendly. It wasn't the cheapest but was satisfying. Will def be back! Thank you for the great food and service. Keep it up!

These guys do a top burger (Firecracker was awesome), which is packed full of deliciousness and just the right size. And who can resist those perfect onion rings with a bottle of Koszi Pale Ale. 😁 Oh… and that patio on a summer’s day is such a great spot to chill and take in the mountain (and river) views.

Really nice team! We had a mix up with the orders, we took 'Kellie' but our order was for 'Elie', we called them and they were super nice about the situation and easily sorted it out for us. Cannot rate them highly enough! We came back two nights in a row we were so impressed. Can honestly say that they have the best service out of all the venues in Thredbo.

If there was an option for seven stars I'd chose it. This place is excellent. Yes, the food is first class and the hospitality is welcoming and personal. I know many businesses in Thredbo are having a hard time just operating with the lack of seasonal staff thanks to Covid. The team at Burger Bar are obviously working super hard, probably longer hours than they'd like, but they're still making it a really great experience for those that visit and I just want to say a huge thankyou for a fantastic evening at this place.

Really delicious burgers, especially the thick meat patty. Not so keen on the black bun though, it was a little bit too chewy. Would order the milk bun next time. Love that you can pre-order online and they will let you know when it's ready to pick up. Super busy, so recommend booking a table of you'd like to eat it.

Best hot wings (buffalo style) in Australia. Not kidding. And one of the best burgers I've had in Australia for sure. We were extremely lucky to find this place as all the other restaurants here are well reviewed but not that good. Don't worry about the black bun, it tastes just like a regular bun (they call it a charcoal bun, it's a popular concept here, but doesn't taste at all like charcoal).

Nothing like an amazing burger, awesome fries and delicious chicken wings after a day on the mountain. I went here a couple of months ago I cannot believe I forgot to leave a review. Absolutely blown away at their AMAZING burgers and service. I ordered the firecracker because I love a little heat. I was expecting it to be a tiny bit of a kick but they really delivered on their promise on the heat. Perfectly spicy. And yes it was HOT! Just how I like it. Some of the best flavour combinations I've tried and the food tasted SO fresh! Quality service as well. I made sure to ask for the names of the servers so I could mention them specifically when I reviewed but unfortunately it's been a while and I can barely remember. The young gentleman and the owner (I think) were on point with their politeness and responsiveness.

I went to Thredbo burger bar with my partner and stepson for my partners birthday. The staff were so attentive and even went to the effort of singing happy birthday to my partner, along with a brownie topped with a candle. The food came out so quickly. The onion rings, Mac and cheese croquettes and the shoe string fries were amazing! The only thing I would say is the burgers were on the small side. After completing the summit walk that day we were pretty hungry. The brownies at the end filled us up though 😇

Takeaway on a really busy night, they were getting slammed. I appreciate the guy running the place getting me the beer that was part of my order, to drink while I waited, despite having a thousand other things to do! Potato and sweet potato chips were crisp and tasty. The burgers unfortunately were overcooked, dry and not very generously proportioned. But I was not going to go back after I got them home to the hungry bunch of boys. After reading other reviews, I think the staff were just having a bad night, and this place probably deserves another chance.

Cosy and efficient, we went with our 11 month old daughter and it was so good not to stress about her getting upset the staff were so friendly, the lady who took our order said she's put our order before the table of 8 next to us because she knew bub wouldn't be that patient, she also recommended a good drink for me and when it come out incorrect she went and got the correct one and didn't charge us for the wrong one which she left anyway. Food was fabulous and staff I cannot fault. Will be back here everytime we visit Thredbo.

The lovely man running the place was kind and unlike some places did make us feel bad for booking but offered kind advice about how busy things are and bokings will make things easier for us.The service got better and better and then the food arrived. Burger Bar is really nice place for Lunch or Dinner. The burgers are really nice as well as their chips and salads. Only ate in there once as we usually get takeaway. It's nice in there at night. Good place for families to come to. Staff are really nice, friendly and helpful, which is good. There's outdoor seating which has a really nice view of the mountains.

I’m actually quite sad to give them a 4, but I had to take away a star for their really soft fries. They were too soggy, and thus I didn’t enjoy them. They’re $8 too so I was quite disappointed. BUT THEIR BLEU CHEESE BURGER IS AMAZING. As an American, Australians have been telling me to try different burger joints throughout Sydney hoping I’d like them. I have not liked a single one of them. But that blue cheese burger was made to perfection and I was sad to see it go. Even their bun is heavenly. 2 thumbs up indeed. Cook those fries maybe 3 minutes longer, and this will be THE burger place of NSW

They are still burgers but not as you know them Terrific views and we'll away from the crowds around the ski lifts, this quality decorated US style street and bar is, probably, the best place in Thredbo this 2018 Xmas. Beer is especially good in the bar but like everything else in the village is on the pricey side. Do the burger as a "stripper". Tip: booking is prudent.

The cocktails aren't great. Often weak and the combinations of alcohol aren't quite right. Onion rings and fries are good. I'll keep coming back here but just a few niggly things keep me from loving it.
