We just had the yummiest fish n chips and potato scallops takeaway from here. Very fresh oil, lovely crispy chips and great scallops. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Also a good price. Yum!

It was ok. Chips undercooked. Fish well cooked but had that previously frozen taste. Have no idea if fresh or not. Wasn’t bad,: just not great as have had amazing barramundi during trip around Australia. Didn’t wait long and last time counting those that didn’t covid 19 checkin.

Absolutely beautiful food. I eat here every time I visit Urunga. Perfect burgers, fresh fish and chips……. Calamari rings to die for and the potato scallops are just like they were when I was a kid. A must if you travel through Urunga. Staff are very friendly

We just stopped in Urunga to visit The Honey Place (which was gorgeous, and the proprietor was lovely) and we were hungry, so we looked up places to eat. This place was first on the list and we’re so happy we came; the food was incredible! I got calamari, a scallop and a battered sav, and my friend got a schnitzel burger and garlic prawns, and it was all wonderfully fresh! So tasty, definitely worth a visit.

Passing through Urunga over the holiday season and came across this little gem. My family and I ordered a variety of things and they were cooked well and tasted great. I have to make special mention of their works burger. Honestly, it was one of the best that I have had in recent memory. This place is a must try if in the area.

I believe this shop has then friendliest staff well the regular female server is. She gets to know her regular customers greets them and knows their regular orders. Makes you want to come back and the locals do. So if the locals like the food its a sheer delight to tourists. It has fresh fish ( forget the imported frozen Hoki) go for the Barramundi. Also hamburgers, chips, scallops, as well as the usual soft drinks ( dominated by Amatil or better known as Coca Cola), milkshakes and ice creams. Also available is coffee & tea. You can sit out the front and eat it but a far better suggestions is to take it to the board walk picnic area at the end of the main street behind the caravan park. But be quick as Big Brother Government is quickly fencing off the beach area so they can sell a lease to Reflections Holiday Parks. They used to be OUR beach front cheap family camping areas but not anymore. Does anyone remember the Government asking us the owners if they could convert them to leasehold land? By the way your food will still he fresh and hot as the Urunga takeaway puts the fish in a cardboard container with nice fresh lemon not wrapped in paper to steam it. You have the choice of battered, crumbed or grilled ( the best for barra but a little dearer.

The order was for numerous, individual, fish chips and some scallops. None of this occurred $57.00 worth of fish and chips was packed in one package. The fish was mostly ok however, the crumbed fish was underdone and cold. The scallops were enormous.

(Translated) Work Burger Chicken Burger Plain Burger House Fish & Chips Seafood Basket The burger was a bit hard to eat but it was very large The work burger has a beef patty with fried egg bacon and pineapple The tempura was very crispy and fried in a beautiful shape and plenty of french fries But you have to wait for more than thirty minutes It was a long day because the staff were alone during the day and there were three people in the evening, but there were many customers on weekdays. I've waited ten more minutes since I said it's coming out ... (Original) 워크버거 치킨버거 플레인버거 하우스피쉬앤칩스 시푸드바스켓 깔라마리튀김을 먹었고 버거가 먹기가 약간 힘들었지만 아주 푸짐했어요 워크버거는 소고기패티에 계란후라이 베이컨 파인애플같은게 들어있어요 튀김은 아주 바삭하고 아름다운 모양으로 튀겨졌고 감자튀김 양도 넉넉해요 그런데 삼십분이상 기다려야 받을수있어요 낮엔 직원이 혼자여서 오래걸렸고 저녁엔 세명이었는데 평일인데도 손님이 많더라구요 이제 나온다고 한 뒤로도 십분은 더 기다렸네요...
