I can't tell you HOW HAPPY I was to eat here. We stopped by for lunch. We had the sausage roll and quiche lorraine with a mix of salads and an almond croissant with coffees. The pastry was fantastic. Any gluten intolerant foodie will tell you that getting GF pastry right is hard and finding it even harder. Well done to the team on their fantastic bakes. The service was friendly and helpful. The cafe has a few tables but do try to avoid the lunchtime rush as it gets busy.

I enjoyed quality food and coffee on Saturdays.
Also, the foods are gluten-free.
The quantity is not small, enough.
The picture a quiche and salad.
The fresh salad was crisp and fresh and had pumpkin in it. It looks beautiful and appetizing.
And the interior of the eat in area was nice and calm. The space and atmosphere is comfortable for one person to sit alone. Next time I will enjoy coffee break and cake.

This place is AMAZING!!! The best find in Sydney. Lots of gluten free savoury and sweet treats - things I can’t get in the UK. Perfectly safe for coeliacs and lots of nut free and vegan stuff too. Loved the chocolate eclair even the pastry was good. Really relaxing and welcoming. ❤️❤️❤️

Very good coffee, exceptional service and of course everything Gluten-free! Great range of breads, pastries, pies and sandwiches. Modern interior fit out not my style but definitely not a deal breaker!

Fully celiac/gluten free. They have vegan sandwiches too. Clearly labelled everything.

$8.50 for beef pie. Obviously the biggest plus is the entire bakery is gluten free. The coffee was a surprise......pie was 4/5, coffee and lemon meringue pie bumped it up to 5/5

For anyone gluten free (or not for that matter) - this place is a haven of deliciousness. The food is great, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the coffee was also fantastic. The cafe is in the bottom of an office building and is nice and relaxing for an early lunch with magazines and gentle music. Gluten free food is always going to be more expensive than normal cafe fare, but I was surprised that for this area of the city it wasn’t more expensive than the likes of fish bowl and such. I can’t recommend it highly enough - definitely one of my new regular lunch spots

I came to Wholegreen Bakery today for the first time after being recommended by a friend. Some of my family members are coeliacs, so we were really excited at the idea of a gluten-free bakery. When we arrived, we were really impressed by the range of baked goods at the store. Being lactose intolerant, I was also surprised to see so many dairy free options. My mum has been a coeliac her whole life, and she said she's so grateful to finally have choice when it comes to baked goods and breads. Not only were we amazed by the range, but everything is so delicious! I had the chocolate croissant and my mum had the apple slice. We also purchased a vegetarian quiche for my younger sister (also a coeliac) to eat later, which she loved.
The staff were also super kind and helpful! It's not often you meet people who are so passionate about the food and coffee they sell, so we were really thankful to the guy who served us, as he made helpful recommendations and was really knowledgeable about the product. (Sorry we didn't catch your name!)
Between the high quality (and delicious) products and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, I would 100% recommend coming here.

Fantastic gluten free pastries and bread in the heart of the Sydney cbdat last! Paradise. The raspberry Danish is to die for! The baguettes, cakes and tarts are awesome too and they're now even licensed if you want to do the traditional French thing and wash down your ham and cheese baguette with a glass of wine!

Welcoming space, friendly staff and great GF food! Even non-GF eaters will be pleased with the selection and taste.

Can't believe it's all gluten free! Great service, and huge range. Prices are really good too

My partner is coeliac so we scoped out this cafe on a weekend in Sydney and it was so worth it - everything is gluten free and delicious! Savoury pastries, bread, and lots of sweet treats (tarts, brownies, croissants etc). So good we came back twice. Please open one in Melbourne!!

Safe for those with coeliac disease or gluten intolerant people as the entire place is gluten free. That said, gluten eating people love the food too! Delicious and healthy food, and quite a range too. It's a cafe-cross-bakery and worth sitting down in the lovely Alliance Française lobby for your meal or coffee if you can. Also good for picking up some bread or a pastry snack for later.
I have tried the pastries, pies, frittata, salad, coffee and chai. All of which were excellent quality with healthy ingredients, and decently priced. The side salad was half the plate and had a huge variety of vegetables for only $4!

Amazing quality and variety - a true delight for the gluten free to be able to choose from so many favourites - and many who do not have to adhere to a gluten free diet find it just as outstanding!! Eating in always feels like a peaceful climate controlled oasis from the noising city outside!

I had so much anticipation coming into Wholegreen for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations! My jaw literally dropped at the sight of the most amazing array of gluten free baked goods I’ve ever seen, and I took a good ten minutes to decide what to have (when you’ve been coeliac for 14 years it’s a near impossible task to choose between a pain au Chocolat or almond croissant among many other drool-worthy things). I was very, very excited about my coffee and pastry and will be back regularly for more! I’m not technically supposed to consume dairy but I excused myself for the experience of a pastry, that would be the next challenge to make dairy free but Wholegreen has done a brilliant job already with the daunting task of making quality gluten free (and quite possibly even better than normal) baked goods.

Lovely place. Everything is gluten free. The vegan sandwich is delicious! All their breads are vegan. The only thing missing are some vegan desserts :)

Wholegreen Bakery has the most amazing cakes, pastries, breads, quiches and pies. As a coeliac I find it such a delight to be able to just walk in and order anything on the menu. The coffee is pretty amazing too.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wholegreen also to people who don't have to follow a GF diet though as everything tastes so great.
The staff are always so lovely also.
So happy the CBD store is open on the weekend now.

Worth running across the city in the pouring rain for. Absolutely fantastic food, so much in a serving, we loved it!
Good coffee, great hot chocolate, sensational pastries and even the side salad was delicious.

Fantastic coffee and GF treats. Be surrounded by students of AF practicing their French and preparing for class. Lovely spot.

This bakery is a precious gift that I get super excited to visit. Being totally gluten free that already gets top marks from me, but the fact that they make everything taste great is a huge bonus. I’m also dairy intolerant so that rules out a lot of the menu but there are still a good variety of options to be had. They do also say that their pastries are low lactose. I’ve had a vegan sandwich (unexpectedly delicious), veggie frittata (filling and wholesome), quiche (contains dairy, but is worth the gut pain and FANTASTIC) and hot cross buns which were a bit dense but perfectly good toasted and slathered in vegan butter. I can’t wait to try more! The staff are also super friendly and happy to explain ingredients.
I bring lunch to work every day and am very diligent about doing so, but I wish I wasn’t so I’d have more excuses to go here instead…
