Very quick on the food. Lots of spots to sit near the beach $32 in total for flat head with chips and salad, calamari with chips and salad and 2 potato cakes.

Very nice food and staff, prawns and oysters were fresh and tasty. Enjoyed the meal.

This spot quickly became our coffee shop local when we stayed at the caravan park. Bacon and egg roll was a treat as well. Sadly the restaurant is currently closed due to COVID. We found a great way to enjoy the coffee was sitting down in the park next door whilst looking over the marine sanctuary. Just remember to bring a jumper, it gets a little windy.

Great fish and chips. The hippy looking dude needs an attitude check. His dry condescending attitude that he replays to every ‘tourist’ that visits is old. ‘Don’t worry, I’m used to it’, ‘that’s fine at least you’re trying’ are just some of the quotes he gave to myself, and others on seperate visits. Also, if you’re getting coffee, don’t get the dry sarcasm guy to make it, the girl did a much better job but they need to be a little stronger.

A must visit. Do the walk to Gossams Tunnel then come back and get delicious fish and chips. Nice big servings. I had the seafood basket for $13.50 and it was delicious and filling. There were 5 of us and everyone was impressed. Great place!

This was recommended to us. And it was amazing!! Also loved the fact that you can get a six pack of beer to go. The fish burger was the best we've ever had. And the staff are courteous and helpful. When we visit again, Zac's is at the top of our list.

Decent little store. It's one of the only cafes in the area, so it can certainly command a premium. It looks like it doesnt have a combo option but a range of burgers and fish meals up for selection. Was told to call in advance to make an order to save time. this was certainly helpful advice! Food : decent but the burgers weren't too spectacular, buns not the toasted kind, normal ingredients, cant say there was anything above the norm. I had the fish burger and my partner had the mushroom and veges burger (this was certainly tastier and very juicy with the sauces). Atmosphere : small take away cornerstone style, also selling some cornerstore goods like snacks inside the premises. Overall was satisfied but average food. I didn't get the fish and chips... maybe that's what I was supposed to try!!

The perfect beach side shop. Hot and cold food, sweet stuff, kitchen basics, bait and even alcohol. They don't have absolutely everything but your on holiday so don't worry about it. The works burger is a must!

We stopped in at Zac’s place for lunch and dined in. The restaurant dining room was beautifully presented and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were obviously very well trained and new the menu well. We ordered burgers, calamari and fish and chips. The food arrived quite quickly and was presented very well. Everyone enjoyed the food and the prices were reasonable for a dine in restaurant.

Delicious fresh seafood option. We got the fisherman’s catch barbecued - a good amount for 2 to share, fresh and lots of salad so we weren’t left feeling too heavy.

Fantastic food, a good selection. Burgers have that 'traditional Aussie experience' and not that modernised burger place experience.. That means lettuce, tomato and beetroot. My fish burger came with a piece of steamed fish and not battered which was simply amazing. Earlier in the week I bought a seafood basket/combo: great quality and decent quantity with some good chips. Please remember people, this is a small town, they rely on your business to survive. They run a grocery store also for basic necessities.. Thanks Zac's.. I've been back twice now.

Popped in for lunch yesterday and had the BBQ seafood platter. Normally I avoid these as they are usually swamped in batter & fats, but this was grilled to perfection, great serving size, absolutely delicious, and a very reasonable price. BYO wine at the shop next door. Fabulous! It is not often you find a place that ticks all the boxes, including service - Oh, and the views.

Ordered chips and sweet potato cakes. The chips were pretty good, but a tad pricey. They gave us two extra sweet potato cakes, but served them in a literal pool of oil. Despite the excess oil they were still crispy and pretty yummy.

Food is great. Service is always great. During peak season there is bound to be a line as people wait to sample Zac's FRESH seafood. We are regular visitors when in town. Beautiful view from the restaurant deck. If you are in Currarong Zac's is a must!

And thanks to you all for your work with the RFS around the area over the dreadful Christmas New Year period. We snuck in for lunch today and it was delicious. A great local spot. Bookings are essential to eat in, but takeaway is just as easy, with plentiful park benches nearby overlooking Jervis Bay. The attached store is also great for holiday makers, with lots of decent options to supplement a grocery shop. The seafood is amazing and fresh, always cooked to order. An absolute delight!

Visited Currarong with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and we had dinner at Zac's Place. The service was excellent, the host had such a great sense of humour and very accommodating (we had quite a few request which they happily accommodated). We ordered the seafood platter and it was very well presented, fresh, tasty and had a variety of seafood. Had a mix of everything that I liked. Thanks Paul, you made my birthday memorable and I will definately be back.

One of the only shops in Currarong, but it's well-staffed, quick, has plenty of seating outdoors and indoors is close enough to the beach that you can pop in and walk back to the surf in a dozen minutes. Serves great food and has an attached grocery store.
