Got 12 rainbow cupcakes made for my partners birthday. They were INCREDIBLE! So beautiful and so tasty! The care that goes into them can really be seen and tasted! Will definitely be back! Thank you! :)

Organised a birthday cake fir our daughter's 40th and having issues get a nice gluten free cake. But not a problem at all for the Blue Bird Bakery team offered a few options so helpful. Decided an the chocolate mud cake topped with chocolate ganache and fresh fruit it was nothing short of amazing, which us unusual fir gluten free cakes. Highly recommend this bakery and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Jean

Great little bakery tucked away in the foodland complex at Brighton. Their new premises have given the store a much needed lift. The products are great their potato pie amazing and other baked goods always fresh and full of flavour and the team enjoy what they have ordered. On two occasions I have not had my order filled completely when I have delivered back to the team and yes, the onus is also on me I should check before I leave the store but I feel pressured to get out of the way. Although I'm spending $45 to $50 in baked goods someone usually misses out 🤔 I've been here on a number of occasions over the past few months at least once every two weeks and the only downfall is the service I have not found them to be welcoming at all they appear rushed, no smiles and I'm sorry but here is a business tip - don't stand on your mobile phone at the front of your store while you have customers waiting to be served. Do your ordering in the back so people don't think you are just ignoring them, people walk out because you just don't acknowledge them and the other server looks and acts grumpy. You can be serving one person and if that order is taking a tad long at least acknowledge the next customer. Would I recommend them? Yes,for their food but no on customer service.

This has been a family favourite for many years. The ginger and pineapple scrolls are the best, often a birthday cake request in our family! Other bakery items excellent and ordering of special occasion cakes fantastic as well. Staff helpful and friendly. Recommended..... try the scrolls!!!

Could do with more tables and chairs. Would like to see the return of ceramic reusable crockery and cutlery. Cups are TOO full.

Fantastic range of cakes available and options to have custom cakes made at a reasonable price. A very wide range of pies and pasties are also available at decent prices. Probably not the best place for a dine in experience as the space is small and there is a fair amount of people walking around that area, but the food is excellent for take aways.

An Adelaide institution. Blue Bird Bakery has been around for decades and the quality of their cakes and pastries continue to be devine and delicious.

I had my 60rh birthday cake made by blue bird bakery last sat night. It was outstanding, and exactly what I wanted. I have being buying from them for the last 30 years and everything is outstanding. Their range of gluten free cakes are also excellent and have become a family favourite.

I love this bakery and their produce - it's like a 'traditional' country style bakery nestled in an equally hospitable shopping 'centre'. The cakes are beautiful, the staff friendly and accommodating, the coffee is barista quality and it's always busy - a true mark of appreciated quality.

Disappointed. Meat and vegetable pasties were my favourite. Changed the recipe and disappointed in the current pasty. I needed to put tomato sauce to give it some taste. 😣

Ordered a specialty cake for Daughters 18th Bday that she saw on their website. Was made identical to image with loads of shards and an abundance of chocolate bar bits creating a choc-waterfall effect to base of the cake. Could not fault the flavour of this moist light mud cake. Everyone enjoyed and complimented the bakers expertise. Cheers to the baker and professional staff for their assistance. Definitely use again for the next party.

Great Gluten Free options here! Loaves of GF bread are available and very reasonably priced. Several GF cake varieties, They are sold by weight so you can buy as much or as little as you want, this is such a practical option rather than standard portions. Other typical bakery fare for the non GF folk!

The Blue Bird Bakery is a Brighton institution. A variety of pies and pasties, biscuits, cakes and special event cakes are all freshly baked on the premises. It is a must for that quick coffee and something naughty, a bite of lunch, or grand daughter's birthday cake!
