Delicious local family owned Bakery, this bakery has all your needs from Sandwiches, Pies, Pasties, Sausages Rolls, Deserts & Coffee. Definitely worth popping in if your in the area and want something quick to bite. Will be back like always.

On the recommendation of a friend we came from down South to try a Ned Kelly Pie. It's a really good pie, worth the effort. The 'goldilocks' of pastries is filled with a delicious mix of meat 'n gravy, bacon, an egg then topped with perfectly grilled cheese. This combination makes for lunch, brunch or afternoons. It is delightful. We took home some cold saussage rolls and a pasty to reheat over the weekend. They were fresh, they reheated well and were delicious. The coffee is great, the service is open, friendly, happy and efficient. It was a great recommendation and one we are happy to pass on.

I have never found a better bakery in adelaide thus far. Everything is baked fresh and tastes AMAZING! All the staff there are super happy and welcoming. Always leave this place with a smile on my face. 10/10 will visit again

A great casual experience all round! Loved the wide range of options on their menu which included both savoury and sweet. There were both dairy free/minimal (not advertised, but their sausage rolls had vegetable shortening instead of butter in their pastry!) and vegan options for savoury and sweet treats. Very yummy!

Fantastic bakery I would highly recommend this place, it is very busy which when your in food is clearly a huge plus, the food is always fresh and taste is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful, parking is not huge but it is on a main Rd so there is also street parking, they have many regulars there which is also a big endorsement for this establishment. Quiet bakery off Port Rd. Does not look like much from the outside but inside, very nice dining experience. Staff are exceptionally friendly with great customer service skills. Coffee is very good. The two pies we tried were some of the best we've had in South Australia. The sausage roll seemed to taste a little bit like the stuffing you get in a roast chicken. Donuts were soft and fluffy and fresh. The Apple Turnover needed a little more apple in my opinion but was nice never the less. Definitely would come again. Photo of a half eaten donut my son was eating. We kind of destroyed the rest before we took a photo.... Sorry.

Extremely fast service and located at a convenient distance from people living in the Alberton area. Excellent range of pies and pasties, including consideration for vegan and vegetarian diets. Flavorful and fragrant vegan pie and vegetarian pasty. Unfortunately I had to wait a few hours before trying the pieces (reheated at home) so I didn't get the fully fresh experience. Will have to come back. They also have a wide range of family-size food and a fully stocked drinks fridge!

The selection of pastries is enormous. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Their meat pies are seriously the best. I even buy a bag of cold pies to take home. Great job guys.

We stopped by to give this bakery a second (perhaps third chance now) as previously it wasnt something we thought was value for money. This time around I would have to say it's a meh still. The curry pie was requiring salt as the amount of curry was fine but the meat had no flavour. . Perhaps a stock cube may have helped. (That's the grandma's receipe coming out in me for the sake of the review). The chilli kransky (the sausage) was dry and slightly rubbery The daughter pie was a tomato and onion and also the meat had no flavour. The cake we purchased was a loaf of carrot and walnut which the cake was fine. (Than gosh, as we took it visiting and shared it)

We had been here before but it was a few years ago so were looking forward to it as it was really good. Unfortunately we must have came on a bad day. The coffee was not hot, tasted good but I like a hot coffee. My Rock Cake was dry even though it was wrapped well in plastic. My wife's Lemon Tart was good, but not the best. So as I said. Probably just a bad day and it was mid afternoon so we will try them again as they were so good before.

Finally had the time to drop in for lunch. This place is amazing, the atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff are sweet, very well spoken and polite. The prices were great and the coffee was one of the best we've had. The shop itself was really clean. We'll be making this our go to place for lunch. It's just a shame that it closes at 16:30 as it would be a great place to stop after work during the week.

Well! What a quality bakery. The relaxed bakery outlay and variety of foods and hot and cold beverages is top notch. Service was great and quality of food was excellent. This is a fantastic bakery. We went past just before closing so I didn't get my hands on an actual Ned Kelly pie but alternative pies were great. Desserts are huge, and they don't slack on the filling (cream and jam filled donut is highly recommended!)

It's okay, nothing to rave about on the 'bakery of the month' scale. Being connected to original ascendants of the man in the steel bulletproof mask that carryon the Kelly legacy i think i can provide a well educated & informed view of this novelty bakery based on contrast, comparison & effort or lack of it in any amount of ❤ actually goes into the baking...if any right. Twice i have visted the Ned Kelly bakery, once well prior to the renovation & revamp of the bakery attempting to give it a more rustic 'Ned Kelly day feel' (by whose standards i'm not sure), more spacious inside it seems to have expanded by comparison to it's original inception.A more 'novelty' approach to the Kelly themed shop it seems alot of effort,time & finance has been put in right down to the metal crafted masked outlaw 'door greeter' as one enters.Heavy old timber rustic floor,corrugated iron, it looks good.Unfortunately though the quality of its product left us in reality with the feeling "it's all overkill"! We concluded nothing good about the pasties, sausage roll & famous Ned Kelly pie, no love whatsoever did i feel had gone into producing our baked goods.So much effort clearly put into 'ambiance/feel' of its interior,much cleaner with greater emphasis on the Ned Kelly 'attraction to lure'.It gives one the feeling of anticipation that "lunch is going to be great" if the surroundings are anything to go by. In a word "NO"! It just didnt leave one with any satisfying clue one has just eaten.It did not " hit the spot", nor was there any likable taste &/or nourishment about it.It all about 'THE GIMMICK' i'm afraid, theyre riding the pull of the Ned Kelly name & theme to attract the gullible while 'effortlessly' producing unmemorable product.Shame.

Our friends brought us here when we were visiting SA from California a few years back.Being expat Aussies we knew about meat pies alright.The shop has a diverse range of pies and pasties and we all indulged ourselves.I think I devoured a pastie on the walk from the shop to our friend's car so I went back in and bought a steak & kidney pie.Trust me these guys know how to make real good pies....and pasties.
