I've been coming here for years and the great quality of the products is always consistent. I get the wholemeal sliced bread which has body, texture, and a good crust, and it is one of the best in Brisbane (I've tried it from dozens of places). There is a huge range of sweet treats and pies, with my favourite being the 'house cakes'. These fruit topped dense little cakes are a joy in the mouth. I can also recommend the range of ready made sandwiches and rolls, they are super fresh with tasty fillings.

Can't get enough of this place, great selection of desserts and savoury food as well as sandwiches, wraps, rolls, pizzas etc. Coffee and other cafe style drinks available with milk alternatives. Good serving sizes too. Large dine in area and outdoor dining area. They also sell loaves of bread, bread rolls and just about every loaf you could imagine. Great quick service. Wheel chair friendly and pram friendly. Make sure you leave with an assortment of food to go because you will want to try everything. No toilets within the cafe itself but there are some just around the corner.

Checked out Banjos Bakery Cleveland as the leg of our pie crawl. We ended up ordering the double cheeseburger pie ($7.95) on the recommendation of the staff who served us, and also because this is what a fellow crawler really wanted to have all along. I have to say that I kinda had my doubts about this creation and that was more or less confirmed. It's ok... I mean it's a pie that has a cheeseburger-y taste, but I'd rather my pies be pies and my cheeseburgers be cheeseburgers. The pastry on this was also not as crisp as some others we had on our crawl, though that could be because we had this one later in the day? Also bought a plain meat pie ($5.50) for the boy. It wasn't filled to the brim with mince, but was sufficiently tasty from the little morsel I got to taste - was expecting to have to mop up whatever he couldn't finish, but he pretty much ate the whole thing. I think he got the more satisfying pie of the two we bought! Will definitely go more standard/classical options next time.

Look, I'm a tradie right, I eat pies every day, from every kind of store you can imagine, every kind of bakery, so I consider myself a bit of a pie connoisseur and I'm not exaggerating when I say the potato pie from here is the best I've ever eaten, so good I ate 2 of them and am planning to come back again

Food is great, pastries are nice, sweets are reasonably prices. Coffee is good, hot chocolate is lovely. Staff are fairly helpful, but it was a bit busy to get the real experience from them.

Great to see a couple of vegan pastry options - the curried spinach and chickpea roll was very tasty and worth coming back for. I really liked the savoury deals which might make you buy more but you won't complain about that once you try them! There were egg free dessert options but they weren't labelled vegan so my husband and I didn't try any. My parents loved the blueberry and raspberry tarts congealed with gelatine (they were definitely tempted by the dessert deals). Plastic knives shouldn't be available so hopefully that's in the process of being turned around. If the wooden ones aren't strong enough, a little experimenting with options goes a long way and people will appreciate it. Very comfortable interior with sufficient seating and good acoustics - it didn't seem to get too loud like a lot of cafes. Thank you for the high standard vegan pastries Banjo team 💖

Banjos Bakery Cafe is a busy business. Has polite, helpful and courteous staff. A great menu selection, with a must to try - Scallop pies. You won't be disappointed. A wonderful bakery cafe with a selection of fresh pastries, pies, scones and varieties of breads and rolls. There is plenty of place to sit down and relax. The staff and Owner of this franchise are very friendly. There is a lot of laughter behind the counter and having travelled to many places, it’s great to see people that love what they do. I had a savoury scone and a cup of tea. They warmed the scone and with a dollop of butter, it was delicious. Truth be told, it was great without the butter too. Fresh. Best part is that they’re open early. So when all the cafes around are still setting up, they have lots of people venturing in. They open their doors at 6am every morning including Sundays. Been to this bakery for about 12 years now. Some of the best pies and pastries you can get in the area, coffee not bad either fairly quick service can get busy though.

Very happy with my breakfast. I was in Cleveland for the first time and decided to grab a quick bite at Banjo’s. My scallop pie was super delicious and the staff is very attentive, I liked that I didn’t even have to ask them to add some cold water in my tea, they read my mind. Five stars for the customer service and food quality.

I went to Banjo's for coffee with a family friend and was treated to an ice latte and the house cake. It was lovely! Not too many people at 4pm, the tables and chairs were clean and the staff were young, but helpful and courteous.

It seems to be a popular place and a nice environment but they didn't have a single Gluten Free item to eat! If you're one person in a big group, that's very disappointing! I would encourage you to remedy this oversight for the sake of customers that are "forced" to eat gluten free.

Pastries are supposed to be firm, not soggy and limp. There needs to be some quality control. The dining area was also in need of a clean. Staff were lovely and prices reasonable. Parking at 2pm was easy.

While the refurbishment is great, the service is lacking. Plastic cutlery which isn't robust enough to get through the pie crusts, limited sauces, canteen style packets of salt and pepper, all of which you have to get for yourself. There is no service whatsoever once you pay for your food. If they paid more attention to the dining experience rather than cost cutting, it would actually be a pretty good place to go.

I have been having a Banjo pie occasionally for a long time. Have genuinely considered them to be one of the best. On this trip on both occasions my meat pie has been too hot to eat. Spoils the experience. The pies of the past were always of a perfect temp.

Banjos has the most consistently well baked bread in the Redlands. And we can always get a scallop pie , even when the Scallop pie van in Hobart's Salamanca markets runs out.(which he always does).😄😄

They've just done a new fit out and the place is so much more inviting and comfortable, the food has always been good but nice to sit here and enjoy in a beautiful space. We were happily suprised by how quickly everything came out considering how busy they were. Would recomend!

I have IBS so the only bread I can stomach is the 18 hour high tea bread loaf, Banjo's is the best bread I have had and now the only one I can buy as all local supermarkets have stopped their versions of 18 hour breads. I hope Banjo's never stop making this bread.

Always fresh . Service is very good. I go there weekly for bread and croissant, the prices go up reasonably but I realised the size of croissant is getting smaller at the same time. A bit disappointing.
