R. B.Have often shopped here...bread is good and their carrot cake is addictive. Can not go wrong with anything you buy
G. M.Friendly staff, but the steak pie did not have much steak in the filling. 90% gelatinous "gravy" and only one small chunk of steak. I had to take it back and then throw it out (no refund offered). The pastry was actually really good, so if they can improve the filling, I'll come back.
M. F.Open 7 days a week, from 6:00am, which is brilliant, bread is baked daily. The owners are hardworking and very friendly, it's a convenient little bakery with a good selection of items, cakes & patisserie, hot pies with peas, sausage rolls, ham & chicken rolls, cakes and buns. They also have a handy selection of cold drinks, including milk if your're caught short. The Golden Hot Bread store is well supported and loved by the locals in the area. The other shops in this block are also a bonus, as you can pick up a few extras as well. You can get parking right outside the store.
J. B.The only good bakery in Norman Park/Coorparoo area. Pie filling be a hot or miss. But the rest of the food is always good.

Milk available; and they open at or before 6am (unlike their neighbouring shops that don't stick to their posted opening times-which can be a pain when you are in a hurry). The nice lady and man there told me that I can knock on the (new) roller door before 6am as they will be in there working.
