Love love love Hawthorne Bakery! I go nearly every morning for a cheese and bacon roll and eat it alone because it's just so delicious and fresh! I've tried a few other items and would love to try more but I just love their rolls so much but everything else I have tried is delicious and the owners are so lovely. Highly recommend Hawthorne if you're looking for a classic fresh bakery!

Wow this business got 5 stars. In 207 reviews I'v given no more than four 5 star ratings. This business is definitely a 5.That is the biggest egg sandwich i have ever brought, fresh, soft and tasty for $6....The owner is so friendly and chatty. He even carried the customers purchase to her car because she had a walking disability.

Served by a fantasticily charismatic staff member that had a massive smile and seemed very eager to help. Product from sweet to savory tasted on point and was reasonable priced. Shop front might not seem that inviting on first impressions but it's definitely worth it if you give it a shot.

Great little local bakery with fantastic service! Great prices too (a rarity in the Hawethorne area). Their pies and sausage rolls are some of the best around.... the curry sausage roll is absolutely delicious. They also have lots of traditional Vietnamese dishes that are restaurant quality ready for takeaway.

Literally the best bakery in Brisbane! The service is always so friendly and the food has always been fresh! I get a pie everyday on way home after work and it’s always so delicious! The take home meals are amazing and I could not recommend this bakery more! I tell all my customers at Apollo coffee house cafe that this is the go to for a pie or sausage roll!

Hawthorne Bakery is what you dream about when moving to an area. Fresh bread, melting moments, Bahn mi, cakes, pies and everything else you could want. My favourite is the sweet chilli ham and cheese scroll, our family live on the cafe white bread for our sandwiches, but even better is the service. Mr handsome will treat you like gold with service you don’t often see these days, a hard working friendly man, all his staff will treat you well too. I love this bakery, it is special and a local favourite but it’s worth the trip if not from the area. Hawthorne Bakery is a well deserved 5 stars. I’m going there now!

Wow! What a great Bakery. Everything I have had from Hawthorne Bakery has been outstanding. My regular go-to's are Curry pies, Vietnamese pork rolls, finger buns, dim sims, melting moments, oh and the white bread is magic and even better at 6:00am when its still warm out of the oven. I could go on and on, just do yourself a favour and get to Hawthorne Bakery ASAP.

This place has great food, it's a bakery with an Asian fusion twist. All the usual bakery stuff, plus pre -made sandwiches which are quite nice, and then steamed dim Sims, red curry with rice and vietnamese rice paper rolls are a few of the Asian style meals I can remember. If I'm working in the area it's my bakery of choice , and often take home a family apple pie for desert. The owner is a real character also, which makes it that little bit better to visit. I give 5 stars cause I haven't been let down with food quality in any way so far.

Best Bakery in East Brisbane. Amazing food from fresh breads, pastries, pies and sausage rolls to even a random touch from the owners Heritage with some really good little packs of fried rice or Asian style meals and dim sims. Person favourite: the cheese hot dog baked into the bun. And on top of all that the service is always friendly and above and beyond.

I read the reviews on this Bakery and thought I would sample their wares. I am close in vicinity so.... I was pleasantly surprised. The Cottage Pie and a simple (without cream) apple turnover were both very tasty and fillings were generous. Price for each item was good! I spoke to “the owner” about a special order and I was given a time to place an order for same and also the price. Staff were friendly. I’ll be returning again! Thank you.

Ordered some sausage rolls and quiches and mentioned that we were having a picnic birthday party . They were so thoughtful to put it together properly and tie a ribbon over it.
