You can sit by the creek and enjoy a great coffee and an amazing sweet or savoury treat, taking in the peaceful surroundings and breezes. There is plenty of space and outdoor seating, which is mostly undercover on a large deck. The pastry and cake range is huge, including breads and take home meals.

Very busy Sunday morning. Short queued to place the order of pastries and coffee. Got the pastries pretty much straight away but waited about 20 mins for the coffee.
Shout out to the barista, the coffee was good given how busy they were. Didn’t feel like they were rushing.
Got the raisin danish and occo buco pie. Pastry was delicious, flaky and buttery. Plenty of raisin and not overly sweet. The pie filling is very generous. Definitely to come back to try other pastries.
The patisserie is right by the river, very relaxing area. There are a number of tables and chairs but were all occupied by the time I arrived. If you don’t mind sitting on the floor or stair, there are plenty of space for everyone.
I wish they do table service. So much waste is created, takeaway pastries boxes and coffee cups and paper cutlery.

Such a great selection of pastries and all so very tasty! The sausage roll here has to be one of the best I've had, the lamb pastie was also exceptional. For sweet pastries the eclair and Nutella croissant were terrific.
Plenty of people bring their dogs along and most people were very responsible with them, all well behaved dogs.
It can understandably get quite busy here, you may struggle to find undercover seating especially if you're with a group, there were some free seats in the sun though.

Big call, but I’m gonna say this is the BEST patisserie in Brissie! I’ve tried the competition, and can say these are the freshest, tastiest pastries I’ve ever had. Not to mention the beautiful area it’s in, with seating overlooking the river. Parking is a little tricky on weekends, but totally worth it!!
Ordered the Pan Au Nutella, Almond croissant, an Iced Vanilla Latte and Cappuccino. The pastries as I said were so fresh, especially the almond croissant which was so tasty. The Pan Au Nutella was delicious, but I think there was too much Nutella (never thought I’d say that!) The crazy amount of Nutella almost overpowered tasting any of the actual pastry - however, I’d rather too much than too little!
I thought surely the coffees wouldn’t be good as-well… it’s too good to be true. To my surprise we could not fault them- smooth tasting and deep roast, perfect amount of syrup. Only disappointing thing was that they only use take away cups, which seems like such a waste seeing as majority of customers were ‘dining in’. However, can see the logic as it’s quite a small area inside and they might not have washing up facilities. Perhaps with increased popularity, mugs are something they could consider.
Overall, this place ticked all our boxes. Vibe, coffee and food, all amazing! We will be back in no time, and really recommend to others 🥐⭐️

Bustling, quick and friendly service. Perfect place for a coffee and pastry with your pooch by the water. Ordered the cruffin special, which was a very pleasant surprise. It was a coconut mango cruffin, and the mango was so refreshing and worked so well with the flakey cruffin. Flan was creamy and the shortcrust pastry was crumbly. I only wish the was more custard compared to the crust, that would have been the perfect ratio for me personally. The chocolate bear claw pastry was also tasty, not too sweet, with a softer, less flakey pastry.

Perfect place to stop for a cheeky pastry and delicious coffee while taking in the sunny views and people watching. The full cafe is currently closed(June2021) but the coffee and patisserie is still operating. The few items we enjoyed were all of the best quality and the coffee was great.

What a beautiful find along the river! Didn’t expect to see such a beautiful cafe placed conveniently in Newstead. The pastries and coffee do really live up to the reputation of the venue. I highly recommend checking it out and you will not be disappointed.

Nice place to visit and enjoy your breakfast in front of the river view!
The coffee is great. We ordered some patisserie and the classic omelette and both were so nice and delicious.
There are a good number of car parks which is definitely a plus. The staff were so nice, friendly and helpful.
The only confusion was about they are split the shop to two places, one for patisserie and coffee for take away only and beside it the restaurant for dining in. It was quite confusing for us but I think they need to organise it in a better way especially for a new customer.
Otherwise, it is a great place and I will visit it again!
D. B.
Really enjoyed their pastry, though they only serve on takeaway boxes on Sunday.

Beautifully positioned by the waters edge. Filled with delectable delights, Mica is a wonderful place for a quick croissant and a coffee or for a leisurely long lunch.
The food is exquisite.👌🏼

We got here at 1:20pm (closes 2pm) there wasn’t a big selection left but they probably had a busy day. We had the vegan passion fruit surprise (very faint passion fruit flavour - my son thought it was orange from the colour on presentation ). We also had the toasted ham & cheese panini which was delicious. Coffee was good & face to face service was excellent. The only complaint I would have was we got a seat on the far left but had to travel to and from the service kiosk to collect the coffee then Juice.. then keep glancing over to see if the panini popped up - because you can’t hear if they’ve called out your name.. not sure if this is because of staffing levels or if it speeds up their service, but am used to taking a number & having it brought to the table - helps to unwind (especially for the prices being charged). We would probably need to get there early next time to see the desserts we saw in the preview Photo’s.

This restaurant is situated next to Enoggera Creek that opens into the Brisbane River. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and had great ambience.
All the main menus were priced at $25. I ordered the salmon and was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and quality of the dish.
The carpark itself is one of a kind. It is located within the Mercedes Benz building and provides limited undercover carpark reserved for restaurant customers. It looks just as impressive as the restaurant itself.

Great new addition to Newstead at a wonderful location. Baked items are delicious. Hope opening hours soon go from 3 days a week to 7!! I did turn up along with others a day they were shut and was disappointed I didn't check their website beforehand but now google maps approved my submission hopefully more people won't be caught out.

Although I’ve heard of Mica previously this was my first time visiting, and even when we got to where Google Maps took us I was like where is this place? Turns out it’s a little bit hidden from the road but once you get within view it’s certainly hard to miss.
Our order:
* almond croissant, $6
* apple crumble danish, $5.50
* iced mocha, $5
The almond croissant was long and slim, with a good amount of frangipane both inside and atop. It’s not very sweet, so will suit those who like lots of frangipane in their almond croissants but aren’t so keen on the sugar. When cutting it open we felt a bit let down that it wasn’t so full of those glorious layers visible in cross sections of the best croissants, and texture wise there wasn’t a lot of crispness to each bite.
The apple crumble danish was a more enjoyable treat, with a bit of bite in the apple offering a good counterpoint to the pastry. Would order again.
Ambience wise it was definitely a great hang out spot with lots of shaded outdoor seating right beside the river, where you can enjoy your purchases and the free flow of river breeze. Would be happy to return to try other pastry items or maybe even dine in the brasserie itself if I’m coming earlier in the day.
Pro tip for first time visitors: there’s a free undercover carpark under the building via Durong Street. I didn’t know this and parked in the small outdoor lots in front of the Lifestyle Precinct, which from memory is a 1P zone.

How did Breakfast Creek function before Mica? Very trendy brasserie with indoor and riverfront seating. Highly recommend the breakfast pastry and the dirty chai latte. Really relaxing vibe with river breezes. A really nice star to my morning just watching the world pass by.
J. M.
This place is amazing, super busy on a Sunday morning though, line was huge.
Fantastic ham and cheese croissant. We'll be back, I'll try to avoid peak hour this time
I.
Giving a 5-star review for the pastries at this place. My favourite was the key lime tart but every other pastry we had was great too. Would recommend going for only the pastries as we felt the savoury breakfast (like Eggs Bene) was pretty ordinary for the price they were at. But definitely 5-star pastries!!! 😊
M. L.
Original and delicious , open now for dinner!
Highly recommended , especially the zucchini flowers staffed with risotto and the wagyu cheek 😋
J. W.
Serving a very tasty sausage roll with good pastry. Coffee is lovely too. A great place to meet friends casually sitting in the sun on the boardwalk at breakfast creek. Staff are friendly.
A. S.
Menu on the reviews is out of date, at least for breakfast. Sweet and a few savoury options with coffee.
Still, nice layout and sweet temptations in the display that look delicious, good for a quick bite, but not if you're looking for something more filling.
J. P.
Amazing sweet & savory pastries. Great coffee and friendly service. Love popping into Mica for brunch or a quick bite when an average bakery just won't do.
I. M.
Tried it twice!
Food:
Love the Quiche. Heard a lot about the almond and pistachio croissants but I arrive too late that they are already sold out. Did like the chocolate danish even though nothing special about it.
Drinks:
Chai latte (with almond milk) is perfect, one of the best you would try, but hot chocolate (with almond milk) was not that good.
Location:
Easy to find.
The view from this place is pleasant as it is by the river and very easy parking inside Mercedes Benz building parking. You can take a stroll in the park next to the place just across the bridge to burn those extra calories :)
K.
Lots of pastries and desserts that you can choose from.Big space and lovely ambience. We love all the goodies that we got from here. Coffee could’ve been better tho. 😁
A. J.
Nice location, great decor, friendly service. Food was nicely presented and tasted good, although on the pricey side. Bakery next door looks great, definitely want to give that a try too.
S. B.
Great food, amazing!! Management wasn't to great given covid, they'll need to improve sanitizing tables between clients, noticed 5 lots of tables got a basic wipe down. Staff tried there best, but I didn't feel it was as white glove as I'm used to.
Without covid great, with covid needs work, I'm disabled and at risk of covid death :) - great otherwise tasting menu was amazing!!!
S. E.
Fantastic location, great patisserie and friendly service
B. P.
First time here. Yum! Am looking forward to coming back to taste test all the wonderful delights. Service efficient and quick despite being busy.

Great location with great selection of cakes. However, Coffee does not quite match the quality of the cakes on offer.

I enjoyed apple one and custard pastries🥰 Next time I want to try some cakes!!

Lovely and opened store and location on the waters edge. Caters for all age groups. Disability access and free parking. The food and coffees were of the highest quality and the customer service was second to none.

Hiden gem! High quality pastries in a state of the art venue. The service was great and the river views were even better. Had a very pleasant and delicious breakfast with hubby.

Great place by the river to enjoy a breakfast, brunch or lunch on a sunny Brisbane day.
Food was delicious as were the drinks. They juice fresh tomatoes for the Bloody Mary too!
Their pastries also are a MUST buy to take home or enjoy on the deck chairs on the boardwalk.

I'd been wanting to try MICA since it opened and finally got there on Saturday, not long before they closed. It was still so busy so I did wonder why they close at 2pm. We ordered so much food to take away and it was mixed in quality. The watermelon juice and iced latte were nice, as was the lime tart. We purchased two discounted loaves of sourdough, which were also good. However, we felt that the quiche and sausage roll lacked in flavour. The almond crossaint was well flavoured but a tad dry. We had wonderful service from a friendly, smiley lady whose name we unfortunately didn't get. Would come back but perhaps stick to certain items. A lovely setting if you want to dine in and sit in the sun.
M. D.
Quick croissant and incredible presentation dessert! Lemon meringue, Milfeuile and Ham cheese croissant just have simple tasty.
Bacon and egg wrap is so good tasty and cheap compare to other place! Easy parking !
Nice vibe with drinkable coffee.
Charming place at the edge of the river while taking in the sunny ! clean setting and nicely uniformed staffs ! The staffs were kind and made me comportable !
I will come back more and more !
J. H.
Really nice cafe. Tucked out of the way underneath the Mercedes-Benz building, but the secret is definitely out. Place was packed on Sunday morning cyclists families breakfast dates you name it. Feels very European. Deserves 5 stars but price matches it's fancyness.
D. P.
Phenomenal patisserie. Great spot to sit or you can takeaway to the park near Newstead house to relax which we often do. Mushroom feta tart is the must have
R. C.
Beautiful place, attentive and quick service, food was amazing oh the breaaaaaaaad was sooooooo good ! Delicious food, will be back to try the bakery next time ! I can see why they are always booked out on the weekend !
P. A.
Thank you Rebecca for the service with a smile! We so enjoyed our Breakfast at Mica. So much so that we ordered takeaways to savour the moment. What a beautiful spot and amazing food.
J. F.
Good service, food and coffee
My only feedback is that the inside area never seems to be open on weekends to dine in which lead to wasted takeaway wrapping being used unnecessarily.
Maybe look at a greener way to operate to avoid the waste otherwise all good
J.
Great food and people just a little pricey. Went here after going on the GoBoats which are right next to it. Had a wonderful day here
S. G.
Nice vibe, beautiful looking food, and excellent coffee. brunch here, and you’re only a stones throw from the Brekky Creek for a steak and beer lunch 🍺 🥩❗️

I enjoyed apple one and custard pastries🥰 Next time I want to try some cakes!!

Lovely new-ish patisserie in Brisbane. Great space and design, nice view. Had pastries after morning run. Great range of pastries, bear crawl was my favorite.
N. P.
A truly fantastic patisserie in an innocuous Brisbane location. Worth many visits.
D. L.
Fantastic location with excellent pastries and coffee. Gorgeous cafe at the moment, can't wait to try out the bistro when it opens fully. Had the Osso bucco pie and will be back for another. Really rate the pastries, almond croissant was spot on
A. P.
Great coffee, beautiful and relaxed location. Breakfast menu a bit plain but the patisserie is incredible!! I am a repeat customer here
P. v. B.
Amazing selection of food. We were there for a morning coffee and loved the Chocolate Royal to go with it!
J. F.
Mica has a great interior with a lovely view. Coffee was nice and the food looks very enticing. Only gripe was that we wanted to have coffee seated with China cups/mugs but was told it was plastic takeaway only, however looking inside you could see people sitting down enjoying their coffee. Was a little confusing.
M. E.
Great service great food! Had a lovely tasting menu experience with my husband.
v. C. O.
Would be the best breakfast I have had in Brisbane in a long time. Service matched the food which was impeccable! Highly rate

Good coffee, quick service, pastries are SO good, I will be back

We were really looking forward to our visit but ended up feeling a bit disappointed.
Having heard so many good things about them, we decided to give them a go. The place sat around the corner next to a Mercedes Benz store and it was such a hustle to find a car park in the area as the parking lot was tiny and we had to drive around for a few good minutes to find a spot, which we found quite annoying. On our arrival, there was a huge line stretching from the entrance all the way to their exit outside their venue. Waited for approximately 20 mins before we got in. They had a big variety of pastries and pies and we ended up getting an almond croissant, a palmier, a meat pie and two coffees. The staff who served us didn’t seem to know much about their pies and didn’t really answer our question when we asked her about the fillings. The almond croissant was okay but average. The palmier though was delicious and really flaky and fresh. The pie was prob the best out of the three things we ordered. The crust was buttery and the filling was peppery and garlicky, which we liked. The coffee on the other hand was not tasty but it is the brand they used that we didn’t like. We also felt like the price they asked for did not match the quality of the food they presented. I have tasted much better croissants with a lower price.
C.
Lovely location. Staff were fantastic and welcoming. Not so much anymore. Would attend 3 or 4 times a week, now less. Coffee was always well above par, is now hit and miss sadly. Staff need to welcome customers, there are lots of top rate cafes, BUT the difference is Great Coffee and Friendly staff Please return to that!
K. S.
Classy patisserie with good coffee and sweet treats. Nice outdoor seating but gets very busy at weekends
D. R.
One of the very best French bakery / patisserie available in town ! Bread is amazing, cakes range very nice, staff friendly and good service. A must!
M. d. H.
Great food and coffee but slow service. Didn't get my food for 15 min and it was a pre made roll and pastry. No sugar with the coffee so had to get it myself. They need more staff.
C. B.
Ill just say a few words fantastic coffee ☕ nice range of sweets and food great service what more do you want.
L. D.
Absolutely love the quality of the breads, pastries and croissants at Mica. It's our favourite way to start the weekend!
K. T.
Delicious flavour combinations in their menu and the pattiserie next door has delightful desserts and treats to satisfy any level of sweet tooth.
A. T.
Fabulous place for a morning coffee and croissant. It's one of those places you'll enjoy on your own or in a group. Plenty of outdoor seating. You can also take your coffee and go for a stroll in the park across the road.
D. K.
Great morning experience post parkrun. Really tasty selection of pastries and coffee to get the your weekend started right...or any day for that matter 😁
K. W.
Easy parking
Great relaxing calming setting
Great coffee
AMAZING pastries

Good coffee, great pastries and amazing location. Will be back.

Continuing on our journey
Stop 2
The Lemon meringue here well 🤔 hard to split at this stage for the best in Brisbane
S. L.
Love the Nutella croissant with the overflowing Nutella when you bite into it.
M. G.
Modern, friendly with indoor and exterior seating. Only open 7am to 12 pm Wed to Sunday. Menu small and expensive. My over easy eggs came over cooked with no runny yolk but my crispy bacon was perfect. My wife's omelette was small and looked prepared and cooked. She said it tasted good though.
Will try again when they open for dinner. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
I. M.
Been to Micas twice during lockdown! Excellent coffee and croissants amazing! Will be back thanks
Beautiful place too!
P. R.
It is very under staffed It is a bit overpriced but that is not a problem. The problem is that you have to do the cleaning after sitting as they do not have staff to clean. Hence several tables as chairs were dirty from former customers. It took a long time waiting in a queue for ordering and again long wait for delivery of food which (again) is not to the table as no staff. The staff on the other side of the bench was ok but somewhat relax and not fast as you would expect when you have a big amount of customers waiting. But do not blame them as the answer is having more people working there. The place is nothing extraordinary, no view or anything just the creek. Not sure if this place could survive without Mercedes being next door. Food was good (pie and 3 types of pastries) the orange juice i think it was from a bottle as did not see them juicing the oranges (I was expecting fresh juice) and coffee was good. Not going back in a hurry but there's not much more in the area. I would suggest Mica to hire more staff to serve customers better as so far there is no shortgae of customers and with the above average prices they can affort paying a couple more hospitality salaries. Just my review. Thanks.
J. D.
Wow, what an experience for our first visit, unaware of the covid rules here, we entered the fairly empty shop only to be told to leave and wait out side, once we were invited in we were trying to make a selection from the stunning cakes on offer, when then we were moved on to staff mid counter, then we walked to the till to choose a soft drink and pay and were asked to move again! I spoke to staff when I received my soft drink, and I explained that from beginning to end it had been a very unpleasant experience trying to buy 2 cakes, and two drinks.
To my surprise as we sat outside eating our beautiful cakes a lovely French gentleman who I presume is the manager, bought out a tray of complimentary cakes to apologise for our experience!
He made a bad experience, better and we will definitely be back to try again
Well done, Merci!
L. L.
Lemon meringue tart: too classic, zesting some lemon on top or in the crust could reinforce the flavor.
Choux caramel and Chantilly: like a St Honoré but not a St Honoré, still good nonetheless
Rapsberry pain au chocolat: try putting a rapsberry custard or powder and not slam some jam in it
Bear paw: like a bee sting but not as good
I have the feeling the pastries are a little tight, maybe not enough butter or lacking rest time making them not as flaky as I prefer them
Solid place to have some french cakes or sweets
A. 2.
Best ham and cheese croissant I've ever had. So buttery and light.
One star less because my husband didn't like the coffee. Will be back for other treats.
m. f.
Great pastries on our first visit, partner liked the palmier especially. Second visit was disappointed. The few pastries we got are not really fresh, including palmier which is soggy and seems like from the day before. May be an isolated case, will still go back and give another go next time.
S. A.
Plenty of tables with river views! However coffee is served in paper cups, doesn’t taste amazing and the cakes are overly sweet and glazed up. I shan’t be back personally.
P. B.
Such a wonderful place.
Good coffee, Good bread and Good vibe,
Good for morning time :D
C. D.
My local coffee shop. Great quality, service with a smile and a lovely Outlook.
J. B.
I love this place!! Nice location, beautiful patisseries & breads, always good service. I'll definitely be a regular.
S. A.
Nice location. Really great pasteries and coffee. Even better, can grab a coffee to enjoy on my doggie walk with Mishka. The vegan pavlova is fantastic.
J. F.
Lovely baked goods, really well presented, friendly service and a nice location. Their beef pie is the best I've had but they definitely charge for it, at nearly $10... Still I would definitely recommend, the one star off is purely from a value for money perspective but everything else about the place is good.
I. T.
Love this place... I recommend if you are dining in to book ahead. But definitely worth it!
M. M. D.
Great cafe (have yet to try the resteraunt), if you love European style desserts and little baked pastries and goods, it's ideal. Great selection of freshly made juices and coffees
J. M.
My wife took me here for my birthday brunch.
To be honest.. There was nothing special about the breakfast.
It was nice. But not wow. At the price of $25 (I think).. I think it's average.
I love the parking situation. It's a really nice spot.
I think the bakery is the thing with visiting. I went back the next day to buy some things from the bakery.
B. V.
Went here for a quick stop over mid ride. Coffee was excellent and the almond croissants to die for. Will definitely return here in the future. Highly recommended.
J.
I've been to Mica three times now, twice for the tasting menu and once for just a quick pastry pitstop.
The first time I went it was a 5 star experience with the tasting menu. Staff were friendly, service was great and the food was delicious. I thought to myself, if anyone asked for a tasting experience/ degustation recommendation, I would recommend Mica.
The pastries and pies were also delicious the second time I visited where I just sat on the casual counter bar to have a quick 5 min munch, although the lady serving me did almost drop my pastries when packaging them. She also placed hot pies on top of my box of cold pastries (tarts with fresh chantilly cream) when I was taking some food away, which if I didn't notice would mean that I'd return home with melted inedible tarts.
The third visit was a let down. Having previously had a great experience enjoying the tasting menu, this time I decided to bring along my family, I had spoken highly of Mica to them and they were all really excited. However, it was a disappointing experience for them. We were a fairly large group of 6 and for most of our dining experience felt neglected. It was as if the staff had just forgotten we existed.
When we were served our first course, we were not given bowls/ plates to eat with, and it was another 5 mins of struggling to catch the attention of staff before we could eat. Struggling to get the attention of staff then became a common theme of our meal, such as when we asked multiple times for some butter for our bread. And when salt and pepper was only supplied on request (it was given at the start of my first visit, and also given to other tables before their meals)
One of our dishes arrived with a large bug crawling all over it, which was quite unpleasant. We notified the staff straightaway, however I believe they just picked it off as we got it back within minutes. There was also an unbelievable amount of flies in the restaurant which dampened the experience greatly.
Our basket of pastries consisted of one pain au raisin and two croissants per basket. It would have been nice to have a bit more variation (on my first visit, I was given three different kinds of pastries) And butter and Jam although was written on the menu as being served along the pastries, was only provided after request. Overall, the service was just not comparable to my first visit and not something you would expect of a high-end brasserie.
There is also a 1% surcharge that they do not tell you about, not sure if it's a credit card surcharge or just something that is applied to all dine-in. It's not much, but I think most people would enjoy the courtesy of knowing beforehand.
I was extremely excited when I first dined at Mica, however have been let down by my most recent experience. I hope things improve so that every experience will always be enjoyable.
B. J.
I love this place. I stop in every morning for a coffee before work: the coffee is great but it's the friendly staff and their approach that really help get my day off to a good start... Had a small hiccup with my order this morning but as soon as it was discovered they went into supercharged customer service mode and couldn't fix it quick enough... I hope the boss sees what I see, y'all are doing an outstanding job...
N. N.
Really tasty coffee and nice relaxing venue down by the water.
Sausage roll nice, chicken pie little disappointing. Bakery food touch pricey for what it is.
A. S.
delightful place to pick up a treat but don't really recommend the degustation
T. S.
Lovely location and nice pastries and croissants.
R. W.
We had the tasting brunch today - every mouthful was a pleasure and served by lovely and attentive staff. Busy, and rightly so, make sure you book or you may miss out. Thank you and see you again soon!
M. D.
Fantatsic brasserie with really authentic French baked goods, great coffee and a cool vibe. Great spot on the esplanade and the decor is lovely. Can't go past a delicious pastry and coffee when I'm there and looking forward to see the brasserie in full swing once restrictions ease
J. C.
The quality of Mica overall is unique and the highest in Brisbane. I have enjoyed the bakery extensively during lockdown and recently the breakfast just took my appreciation for this place to a new level. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and even helped me to set up surprise for my partner. I'm happy to enjoy their creations!
B. J.
First timer to Mica - make your way there immediately! The selection of pastries is mouth watering, we had the breakfast danish and a variety of others, all fresh, crispy, flaky pastry...so good. And I would drive there just for the coffee! Two thumbs up 👍👍
J. W.
Good coffee and great pastries but unfortunately you can not dine in for just coffees, you need to order breakfast in order to get your coffee in a cup? Which in turn creates a lot of unnecessary waste due to everybody receiving coffee in takeaway paper cups.
Y. Y.
Lovely place to get your sandwiches and danishes to picnic at Newstead Park.

Eight of us went for my wife's birthday brunch and all enjoyed the absolutely fabulous food and pastries. The birthday cake (Choco Royal) was fantastic. The service was attentive without being intrusive. In short they nailed it and we'll be going again! A contributor to the success of the day was pre-booking and being able to pre-order the tasting menu and the cake. I can thoroughly recommend Mica.

A frequent visitor!
Great coffee and food. Both for take-away and dine-in.
I particularly like to get take-away and sit down on their deck chairs while the kids play in the big open space infront of Mica.

Best coffee and yummies, right on the river, lovely

Just had Sunday Breakfast with our family and was a great experience. Great Food Coffee and Front of house team was faultless....Super Keen for the Dinner opening, which I'm told is coming soon. Make sure you book ahead of time as is very popular.

Pastry, coffee, staff everything is perfect.
Back every week.
Amazing customer service from Jade.
J. Y.
Bonus great view by the river after you grab a bite or drink.
A. W.
Good place for the brunch, great pastry but recommend to go earlier because they’re all sold our quick. The main was bit overpriced by the serving was small. However ,everything else was amazing, especially the service.
R. M.
We did the breakfast tasting menu. Service was good and value for money is good. The food itself was decent but not outstanding. The coffee was okay. The best thing was the pastries at the end which we took away and snacked on later.
E. G.
Great service,excellent pastries
I love this place
K. L.
This is absolutely amazing french patisserie. Must try coffee also!
S.
Amazing coffee place to have a break sitting at the front of the river.
All the food is home made and looks spectacular!!
Service is friendly, kind and nice with smiling faces :)
Looking forward to come back soon!
R. T.
Lived up to its reputation
Excellent chicken baguette, great coffee and service....love the ambience 5 stars
Staff regularly cleaned tables without prompting ....which seems to be a forgotten service in most coffee places...impressed with the baristas and service staff on their due diligence
P. G.
Best breakfast I've had ever!
Went with the tasting menu (degustation) and it was brilliant.
5 courses with each one tasting amazing seriously next level cooking skills.
Will be back for sure cheers.

There aren't to many places in Brisbane that do a good breakfast.... until now. Mica absolutely smashes it out if the Park for service and food, I had the open omelette with fresh sandcrab garlic butter and potatoes and Chrisso had from the brasserie, 10/10

Friendly staff but service very slow, coffee is bitter.

I want to put 3.5. It’s a pretty good pie but for $10 I expected bloody amazing, it’s not that. Connor’s pies in Townsville, now they are bloody amazing and only $7.50. I’ll go back though and have a crack at some of the other goodies on offer.
P.
Fantastic selection of cakes & pastries...great coffee.
m.
We had the most amazing experience. Get the set menu to try all that this wonderful venue has to offer. The service was exceptional. Our waiter Valentine was so knowledgeable and so passionate about the food. Highly recommended!!
E. K.
Friendly warm customer services plus the best pastries in Brisbane
l. C.
Just bought a focaccia, no sun dried tomato, no olives! Where did those elements go? Why did the recipe change??
j. k.
nice but not pretty much good view
N. R.
Fantastic pastries. Good coffee
D. T.
Had a wonderful Eggs Benedict breakfast here, good quality bacon. The bakery was a feast for the eyes and just as delicious. Fantastic service from Britney and Romone.
K. T.
Great coffee and pastries and efficient service. The bear claw was like eating a delicious sweet cloud. Lovely spot by the water. Highly recommend.
A. S.
Breakfast, coffee and pastries... what a life! The best pastries in Brisbane and the staff were polite and accomodated our every need. It is a busy brasserie so I highly recommend that you book in advance.
This establishment is well known by the locals and has a high patronage, especially the local dog community. If you don’t mind our furry friends dining with you, then it’s a great place to see the cutest breeds. I had the best time.
H. M.
Service was attentive and amazing- thank you for making our group feel so welcome. The tasting menu is generous and beautifully presented. Nice ambience on the river.
J. Y.
Food is amazing with no doubt. But the cleanness of the outdoor seating area is a little worrying.
J. R.
Amazing venue, with patisserie, Cafe, wine bar and restaurant all beautifully done, this is a must do for Brisbane travellers or locals, one of the best venues I've been to in long time 👏👏👏

C. J.
Had a very nice brunch there! The open omelet with crabs was delicious!

By far the best Ham and cheese croissant I've ever had.
J. L.
Had a ham and cheese baguette. Ive had some of their pastries on other days. Very tasty
R. S.
Amazing food, good menu options, attentive staff. Park in the Mercedes-Benz dealership parking and make a stop, it's worth the drive.
R.
Great location and ambience but I’d rather just pick food from the takeaway bakery section than the restaurant. Restaurant is over priced and food is too gourmet with small portions.
B. B.
Excellent seeded sour dough loaf.
S. F.
Desserts and views are good but we found tiny insect in our coffee.
J. S.
Tasty pastries, friendly staff, lovely riverside breeze. Rather popular with many customers even on a weekday.

Great location and ambience but I’d rather just pick food from the takeaway bakery section than the restaurant. Restaurant is over priced and food is too gourmet with small portions.

Reasonable takeaway coffee, nice area however currently no loitering due to corona. Should be better when allowed to fully open.

I love this place
S. E.
Turned up Sunday morning and it all just seemed unorganised. Too chaotic for a relaxing Sunday morning breaky. People plonking down here, there and everywhere. I don't doubt the food is good here because of the queue however it all seemed a bit uni food court/canteen-ish. We will definitely come another time to try the food for takeaway but until then it gets three stars. The stars are for the easy parking and the nice view.
J. M.
Mica is a great little spot that celebrates french cuisine. Sadly during all things COVID the restaurant is operating in minimal capacity, however you can still enjoy the patisserie treats.
If you are looking a great and casual place to get lunch at the moment, its a great little spot. Once all things COVID clear up I highly recommend the great food and full service for a fancy high tea with champagne in ample supply

(Translated) Bureau is a very famous bakery and café.
Ice latte has a lot of crispy cafes, but it was good because it was rich and savory.
There are also many outdoor seats, so you can sit down and enjoy yourself.
There are restrictions on seats as there are separate bakery and cafes and restaurants.
The seats in the first row right in front of the river were free to sit, but behind them seemed to be the seats used in restaurants.
There are also many kinds of desserts~
