Absolutely loved this place. Has such a great selection of baked goods and desserts that tasted better than I imagined. Can't believe it's all vegan. Our favourite was the pumpkin roll. Definitely will come again to try more things.

This place has been a staple in our lives. We literally go here at least once a week. The food is incredible and the staff are so lovely. Have gotten 5 birthday cakes from here. There is so much consistency in the food and staff. 10/10 would recommend best vegan pies and sweet in Brisbane.

The staff are super friendly. My partner is gluten free and they have an awesome selection that cater for GF people. They clearly outline what food allergens each treat caters for which makes it so much easier if you have someone that is allergic to certain things. Their treats are very delicious and you can taste the quality ingredients in every bite. I love going down there to buy a treat for something special. Check out their opening hours first before you head down. They have random times :)

Great little vegan bakery. Throughly impressed with the range of vegan and gluten-free baked goods available. For a specialty bakery the prices are understandably more than you’d pay elsewhere but not exorbitant. I had a pepper steak pie and got a spinach roll for my housemate, along with their galaxy brownie. I was really impressed with my pie, my housemate said theirs was just okay, but the brownie was a standout (it’s very decadent so glad we shared). The display cakes looked beautiful so I will certainly be ordering a full cake for my next function. I’m so glad to see more vegetarian and vegan options around here.

One of the best vegan bakeries I've been to. The cupcakes are so delicious and decorated perfectly. They also have many other sweet and savoury options. You can't go wrong if you are craving some vegan comfort food! 😍

We ordered a trio of cakes and a tray of brownies for our wedding and everything was incredibly delicious, especially the choc mint cake which was the pick of the guests. There was a minor mix up with our order that the lovely staff working when we came to pick it up were able to resolve quickly. We are regulars at Veganyumm and have never had a bad experience here, all of their food is delicous and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. It is such a joy to be able to walk into a store like this and know that I can safely (dairy allergy) pick out any of the amazing treats on display.

Review from two years ago Went there for my very first vegan experience and the donut was good and I was never a guy that enjoyed vegan food but I liked what they were selling. Was just a quick pop in and wasn’t sure what I really wanted to get and ended up with 2 donuts. Better eat them when they are still fresh otherwise they go stiff.

It’s next to Charlie’s Fruit Shop and pretty cute! A bit pricey and that is reflected in the quality? Look it’s tasty, but there is an unmistakable muchness about it all, well the frosting anyways , the carrot cake was deliciously dense but I feel a bit sick in the guts if I finish a whole vegan, salted caramel brownie, not sure what the ingredients are and because it’s vegan doesn’t mean it’s healthy! It’s decadent. Big range of cakes and cupcakes, the chocolate trufffles are excellent! I bought a doughnut which was stale, a chocolate chip cookie which was rather average. Haven’t tried the savoury menu yet, service is always smily girls who are lovely.

What can I say about VeganYum! 5 stars, I would put 100 stars if I could. Everything about this place is amazing! The food is amazing 😋 I had the vegan chicken basil pesto toastie and the macadamia mocha frappe and the also purchased 6 cupcakes! One of each flavour of course. Each cupcake was delicious. And they kept fresh in the fridge for 3 days 😋😍🧁 I didn't share them haha! They have loads of Gluten Free options too. The staff were delightful and so informative. Thank you VeganYum, this vegan was in vegan yum heaven!! For anyone who can't consume dairy for what ever reason, I highly recommend this place. And recommend it to anyone who isn't vegan, I dare you to try this amazing vegan food. You won't be able to tell the difference and the best part? Noone has to die 💚🌱

Veganyumm deserves way more stars than I could give! Staff were absolutely amazing! It was our first visit and we were unfamiliar with the choices, so we took a very long time to decide, each of the staff remains super friendly and helpful! The attentive barista was kind enough to offer to put some cool water in our black coffee order, so we could actually enjoy that coffee with our food, instead of waiting for 20 minutes for it to cool! We had never had vegan bakery products before, and we were extremely impressed with what they have to offer! A different kind of deliciousness that we just fell in love with! Great cakes and coffee - tasted fresh and you couldn’t even tell they were vegan (for non vegans out there). The only thing I didn’t like was that the prices were not displayed, so I would either have to ask for price of each individual item (slightly annoying) or wait to be hit with the bill. Just food for thought.

Saw these guys at the Brisbane vegan markets and got a cheese and spinach roll, a cinnamon bun and an apple crumble cheesecake cup. The cheese and spinach roll was absolutely amazing and the pastry was so delicious. The cinnamon bun was the fluffiest I have ever had and I’m dreaming of the next time I can get one 😍 the cheesecake wasn’t really my thing but that was more a personal preference than anything, my wife finished it off for me and loved it so it was definitely looking forward to getting another flavour. Can see my self becoming a regular which could be dangerous 😂

I’m not vegan, but I won’t get my sweet treats anywhere else! Veganyumm are over an hours drive for me but their food is 10/10 amazing, you won’t regret it! Every time I’ve been there the service has been wonderful, all the staff are friendly and seem so happy to help you. Such a good range of yummy vegan sweets, desserts & savoury options too. The samosas are really good. They make great coffee with a range of vegan milk options. The staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere & cute store design. They have made the cafe work well in the limited amount of space they have. It’s usually easy to find a park. It’s right next to Charlie’s fruit market & vegan pantry so you can do some grocery shopping in the one trip.

Went here today and got the pepper pie, choc mint slice, biscoff cupcake, and cinnamon donuts and it was beautiful! The best vegan food I’ve ever had. The pastry on the pie was amazing and it honestly didn’t taste any different to non-vegan food. The only thing that I would say is to put a sign out front of the shop or on the windows with the name, we had no idea where it was and just happened to walk into the store that had cake written on the door.

Initially went there to try out their little cakes to perhaps order a birthday cake and was super impressed! So moist, tasty and quite light for a carrot cake ... so used to the more heavy dense carrot cakes. The frosting was light and buttery and a little cheesy so it was perfect but extremely sweet! This is the ultimate vegan dessert bakery! They have the most delicious brownies made gluten-free and you can get $20 value boxes with a little taste of everything. I am very impressed with the service as they know everything that's in their products and they make the most delightful hot drinks and shakes all animal free. And their Snickers tart holy wow! And the peanuts butter chocolate biscuits, Nom, Nom, Nom! I also purchased a brownie birthday cake from there and it was the most delicious cake I've tasted for a long long time. It’s always exciting every time i go, cause I know they either have different flavour cupcakes/brownies or something special to try. The savoury items are just as amazing, especially the toasted sandwiches and pies. I always order cakes from here as my personal experience has been great, the cakes designs are beautiful. Don’t even get my started on the brownies selections, there is so many. I personally feel the brownies are fair price, the design, the portion size and the taste is so sensational. My favourite Bakery to visit as a vegan. I have eaten most products in their range, my top 3 are the chocolate cupcakes, creamy chik'n pies and the peanut butter topped cinnamon scrolls. I've also ordered several birthday cakes and they've all been amazing - favourite birthday cake flavour is the chocolate peanut butter one. Their gluten free cakes are just as good as standard range.

I love the cakes and food at Veganyumm which is why I am rating it four stars. It’s a bake house with super delicious treats and a great range that is always really fresh. If the cakes weren’t so delicious, I’d minus points for the coffee. It’s not the best but I think that’s because it’s a bake house that offers coffee - it’s not a coffee shop with a trained barista. If you can appreciate it for what it is, then you won’t feel let down by the coffee. In addition to the coffee, I’d take off points for customer service as well. I think the girl who part owns the store is lovely and her customer service is amazing, but some of the younger ones could do with some guidance on how to serve and multi-task. Even a process or procedure document would be good for them - they seem to lack consistency in how they handle customers. From time to time, they will chat with each other and finish their conversation before they tend to customers - it’s not the best look.

They are open odd hours and late which I appreciate so much, so I can come in after work. Yes, it tastes as good as it looks. Sent a surprise box of cupcakes to my friend to her birthday and she loved them! I couldn't be there to celebrate with her due to COVID restrictions and they made the ordering process really easy. Order arrived on time at my friend's house and they also did gluten free at no additional charge! Next time I'm in Brisbane, I'll be heading here for sure!

The staff are always so friendly and helpful too especially with custom orders. My wedding cake, birthday cakes and cupcakes have always been PERFECTION! Special mention to my regular favourites; the brownies, cupcakes and melting moments! The dessert and pastry selection here is incredible! I tried the vanilla slice (gorgeous and tasted exactly like non-vegan vanilla slice), spinach roll, and the chai milkshake. Veganyumm is THE place to get delicious sweet treats and savoury pies even if your not vegan. Only came across this place on Google as my partner has certain dietry requirements. I couldn't believe the 'meat' pies didn't have meat in them, they were that good!!! I've bought many birthday cakes here too from the Orange and Poppy Seed cake. And recently for my partner's 35th birthday the very delcious mouth watering Peanut Butter Bomb cake. Everyone loved it!!! Highly recommend Veganyumm. We will always be back especially for neaky sweet cravings like today: thank you for the glute-free Custard Tart and the cupcakes. Also the staff there so friendly and professional. :)

This is an amazing bakery, ordered am Orange Poppyseed cake for my friends birthday. The cake was absolutely delicious!! I was able to order my selection online, I picked up the order today on Anzac Day. Look, the food is great. But I have deducted 2 stars. The first one because the pies are a fair bit empty and the second because the prices are pretty high. Being vegan isn’t expensive, unless you capitalise off of it as a business. I’d recommend the 20 dollar box, prices seem fairer when you get it. Edit; I have added a star because the staff were really friendly, which these days sadly is not the norm at most places.

Finding this place has made my week! I'm not vegan but have dairy/egg allergies which makes usual bakeries off limits. Had a pepper stayk pie and it was delicious, still amazes me how they can make it taste like a real meat pie (but healthier and no gross grizzle!). I got the custard tart, I wasn't sure because it looked a little flat and 'thin' in density but I was so wrong. It was awesome.. so awesome I also had to have a cinnamon donut 😂 don't judge, I've been deprived. To sum it up, I am extremely satisfied - if not a little painfully full. Cute little bakery. We had the creamy chicken pie and the pepper steak pie. They were okay but I wouldn't come back for them. Especially for $6.50 a pop. The pepper steak was by far the better of the two. It's indoors but not air-conditioned and the table water is room temperature. Fantastic array of vegan, gluten free and alternative diet sweets and treats right next to Charlie's Raw Squeeze make this pretty much a hub of Vegan and Vegetarian eating in Brisbane's North. I have a sweet tooth so this place appeals to me pretty strongly. I also love a good coffee with my sweet treat so thats a double whammy right there. I haven't had the opportunity to purchase any of the savoury pastries offered here yet but they all look great in the case. All of the cupcakes, brownies, cookies and cakes are very visually attractive which adds to the eating experience. When you're eating a cake with frosted icing which is a neon rainbow its hard not to get a kick which isn't just the huge amounts of sugar. The staff are always pleasant although I'm only giving 4-stars as I do wish they had one more person working the counter. Every time I've visited wait times to be served are a bit on the long side and then to get a coffee or drink if you order one.

Was glad that they could take a large order over the phone and most of what I ordered was great - the choc rasberry tart was so decadent and rich, but I think there was room for improvement with the other items. The strawberry and vanilla cake was more like a strawberry and caramel mud cake. The frosting was perfect, but nobody could finish their slice of cake. They all scraped the frosting off though. Was so yummy!! The donuts were OK heated up, but were not really traditional donuts, more rustic and dense. Cheesecake slice was more like a mousse slice. It wasn't bad, but poorly cut and not consistent with pics on social media. Could be improved, because it wasn't really a cheesecake slice. Received a weird log slice thing instead of the peanut slice I ordered. It needs improving. I think the service could have been a bit better. I never received a receipt or order confirmation which would have been nice. The staff didn't really seem to know what I was referring to when I was ordering things pictured on their social media.

The sweet bakery treats never miss a beat and are so delicious and the coffees are always perfection! The Turmeric and and pumpkin spice lattes are nice and flavorsome and spicy without being too sweet. I had one of the vegan sausage rolls once which was essentially a tablespoon of brown nutmeat? Smear and four layers of pastry, disappointing considering the ease of skill in such a product so maybe one to miss. Finally; the quality of customer service is sub par, rarely a smile to be had on any visit that I've been, which makes me wonder do the staff enjoy thier role. I also attempted to email the company late one night to make a request on the possibility of a short notice cake order for 3 days later to which I provided the required date and the response time took 8 days. Missing the required day and also they obviously didn't read the details scripted in the email.

I was compelled to leave a review of Veganyumm from the perspective of an actual customer, having been a patron during its earlier incarnation as Cinnayumm and now, as a full-fledged bakery. I've sampled the cookies, tarts, cupcakes and cakes at Veganyumm several times over the past year and have found their products to be satisfying on the whole. The mylkshakes, red velvet latte and turmeric latte were also delicious. The $20 box deal offers a great sample of goods. All in all, I have found Veganyumm to have a variety of offerings and cannot fault the taste of any of their goods, which are indistinguishable from the typical animal product-laden counterparts. In my opinion, Veganyumm could be improved with respect to consistency - relating to the cosmetic appearance of the goods, portion size and perhaps front-of house tidiness - although perhaps this is part of the evolution of a small business. Nonetheless, as someone with high standards for hygiene , I have been comfortable enough to regularly return. With respect to service, I have always received prompt, polite and professional service from the owner of Veganyumm. I cannot say that I have witnessed the same attention to detail and quality of service from every single other staff member, some of whom I recognise as being the authors of the seven previous negative reviews written within the past week. For the good of the public, perhaps those "reviewers" should channel their allegations (should they be genuine) to more appropriate avenues rather than indulging in personal attacks. TL;DR: As a customer, I highly rate Veganyumm and urge any potential customer to judge the bakery for themselves and to support small, local businesses.

It's worth being aware that the Cinnayumms, which are amazing, are baked fresh daily - so don't show up at 8am expecting to get one, they won't be ready yet. Ordered a cake from here last October and it turned out lovely! Decided to get a cake done for a 21st birthday party, which I had pre ordered 6 weeks in advance. The car ride home the top half of the cake slid off and we fixed it as much as possible before the party. It kept sliding off all day and eventually broke in half. We couldn't even slice it without it breaking and crumbling everywhere. It still tasted amazing but was a serious let down. I hope this never happens again as I've recommended a lot of people here before this incident.

I've been a customer of this place since it opened and after a few outright disgusting treats purchased, I felt it was time to write a review. I personally feel the place gets over hyped because its vegan. Yes I am a vegan and I'm not immune to food establishments being glorified because they happen to be among the few here in Brisbane that cater to us vegans (and also not to forget those who suffer from food allergies/intolerances) But I have to speak up when I know something is amiss. Like when my favourite item (which is the cream cheese cinnyumm) is stale and they ask if I want it zapped in the microwave to obviously soften it 😕 yet any other time I buy one they are fresh and no one asks if I want it heated in the microwave. This has happened on quite a few occasions which annoys me because they ain't cheap at $7.50 a pop. Another time I purchased two melting moments, which again I have bought before so knew that I would like them, only to get home and take a bite of one and it not tasting how I knew it to taste. So I took a bite of the other and it tasted as gross as the first. Like something else had got mixed in with the batter? Or the flour stored closely with something quite strong? I'm not sure but they were bloody disgusting and ended up in the bin! On another visit I purchased a sausage roll which I opted to heat myself as I was short on time for them to heat it for me. When I got home I heated it in the microwave and I did think it looked a little flat and then when I started eating it that feeling was confirmed by a mouthful of pastry with a VERY flat layer of filling. Like so thin all I could taste was the pastry!!! I have since tried these again once more and it was very different to the first try. There was enough filling so I could actually taste it as a whole. It wasn't bad either. I think overall veganyumm is very hit and miss which is a shame as when opened it seemed to ooze fresh and quality which it now does not. Evidence of this is being able to see into the kitchen, which when it first opened was a hive of baking and decorating activity to now just a sloppy mess. It's just chaotic with trays and containers all over the benches and frosting drippings everywhere. It looks grubby and unclean and the staff with no gloves on working in the kitchen, I find really off putting especially when purchasing food items. I don't know, maybe they need to reevaluate their professionalism and climb back to the quality they once were. You can talk the talk but you gotta walk the walk as well 😊
