Friendly staff and great selection of sandwiches/panini, pies, cakes and coffee. I tried the famous mornay scallop pie for $9.50 and it was delicious. Coffee was good too - $4.40 for a small flat white.

Hearty, filled to the brim with scallops, pies. We had the award winning curry and mornay pair, flanked with chicken Camembert and old faithful bacon steak shrooms. Washed it down with a cuppa. What a great way to start a day!

Hands down my favourite scallop pie of all of Tasmania. We stopped by Blue Edge for breakfast and to our delight, there was the white wine cream scallop and curried variant. Obviously, opted for the cream as we've had a few curried ones already. It was beyond my expectations and my god, did my mouth not stopped watering. We also had the turkey, brie and cranberry panini which was toasted and was delicious. It was light and easy to eat. Two iced coffees to start our day and the serving was very generous as you can see the size of the glass. Let me tell you that the size did not jeopardize the taste as we agreed that it was one of the better coffees in Tas. The apple crumble admittedly could've been better. But the price did not hurt our wallets too much. I enjoyed this bakery very much and would encourage you to try their Tasmanian scallop pies!

My steak and pepper pie was fairly good and the place was nice enough. But my partner ordered the Cornish pasty and it was really bad. They used frozen carrot and potatoes cubes in the mix which is just lazy and gross. She only ate the pastry and we ended up eating somewhere else on the way back.

Service is really good, everyone is nice, kind and makes sure you have the best experience while shopping there. Nice outdoor area if you want to dine in. Clean and tidy. Coffee was good but the croissant was more a bread in a croissant shape than a real croissant with the layers and the buttery taste.

Not a bad spot for a bit of breakfast when in Bicheno. The sausage roll pastry was very good but the mince inside was a little bland. The steak and mushroom pie on the other hand was a bit salty and the gravy a bit too thick (tasted a little floury) Overall not too bad, don't let the long lines scare you, this place is used to it and runs like clockwork, turning over customers in no time.

Popular local bakery that has a selection of pies pasties and sausage rolls but also does toasted sandwiches. The curried chicken lie was delicious and apparently won ‘silver medal’ in some pie contest (not sure where!) but the sausage roll was the thing to come for, it was amazing! Nice home made meat and delicious pastry. Can get very busy on a sunday morning

BEST bakery in Tasmania. I dropped in for my breakfast from my journey from Swansea towards St Helens & the food was excellente. Oh the coffee is to die for, so aromatic & so tasty … the thoughts still lingering in my mind since i ate here in Sep 2015. Thanks to the female staff who took my orders & served me with welcoming hospitality to a foreigner like me from Singapore. Highly recommemd everyone to try here … the SCALLOP PIE was superduper awesome indeed.

I think I had the best mince pie of my life here, mu husband instead took sausage roll and as soon he finished he went to grab another one. Coffee was good too. Definitely spot to stop if you are in neighbourhood. We decided to try because day before we seen a line of people in front of the doors so it must be a reason :)

Beautiful little bakery in the heart of Bicheno. We are a family of 7 and when ever we go out for a treat, it’s expensive but it wasn’t overly priced at The Blue Edge. We were served by Kate and she was friendly, happy and polite. Great customer service. The bakery was clean and full of customers. Service was fast, considering the high demand on the staff. Our food was delicious and everyone was satisfied with their food. Also, something unseen know days, Kate took the time, without being asked, to write the different pies on the bags. This helps with such a big family or for just two people with different flavoured pies. Kids all say thank you, as do we!! Top Bakery

First thing I noticed when we went in was the lovely welcoming smile from the lady behind the counter. You had me at "Hello". We had Cornish pasties and coffee, and with my Cornish heritage I have very high standards when it comes to pasties, and these were the best I have had since 1979! The coffee was delicious, and because my wife doesn't like strong or bitter coffee, we asked if they could halve the strength of hers and put the extra shot in mine. Absolutely no trouble at all. Made a mistake when choosing a cake for dessert - again no trouble at all changing it for us. Lovely people, delicious food, so get in there and experience it for yourself.

Yummy, affordable, friendly staff. A great coffee! On par to some of the good coffee I find at home in Melbourne. Got a classic ham, cheese and tomato toastie and it hit that nostalgia point for me. They had a nice breakfast menu also :) The stars were so accommodating and friendly!

Really cute bakery. We only managed to visit once and went for the scallop pies, which were sooo good. For what looks like a small bakery on the outside, they have a deceptively large range of goods. I wish I lived closer, I’d be here all the time!

A reliable go to bakery with an easy to grab pie, coffee, pastry or other cafe items such as basic salad rolls on the menu. Had an iced choc which was superb😀 Good friendly team of staff. You can usually snag a park outside in the main road. In house restrooms (a change table would be a good accessory but couldn't find one) and outdoor seating available.

There are so many ingredients that I thought it was seafood porridge. The ham and cheese croissant has green onions added, which is very special and very greasy. The coffee is a bit sour.
