We ordered our wedding cake from Sweet Envy, and could not have been more thrilled. It was exactly what we asked for... A simple design, fresh flowers, and very delicious flavours. The orange cake inside was exceptionally moist and had a lovely flavour. The buttercream was not too sweet either, which complemented the cake well. Our guests were very happy. On top of a great cake, the service of the owners was faultless. Their kindness and attention to detail really helped us have a seamless experience. I hope to pop back in for a coffee and a treat very soon!

Hi Sweet Envy Just wanted to let you guys know i m in love with your place and your service. Loved every bite of lamb Harrisa and my son who is supper picking with her sweets loved your chocolate cupcakes. We ordered our wedding cake from here and it’s been the most delightful experience. The new owners are absolutely lovely and the level of consideration, kindness, integrity and respect they have showed has left us speechless. Not to mention the cake was absolutely delicious! The cake was super moist, decadent and stayed that way for days! The design was beautiful and it was exactly what we wanted! Best service so far in Tasmania and will definitely returning! P.s their lamb harissa rolls are absolutely divine!

Amazing service and fantastic food. We had a range of savoury and sweet dishes. My personal favourite was the burnt honeycomb ice-cream although the coconut chilli and lime ice-cream was great too.

Came because I had read they have good croissants and not at all disappointed. The almond croissant was flaky and generously covered in almond slices but wasn't too sweet. Went really well with the decent coffee. The other half went for a pork and fennel sausage roll. It was so good he immediately then ordered the lamb and harrissa sausage roll which was incredibly flavoursome. A great place to come for a quick bite. I wish I had been hungry enough to try one of the delicious looking sweet patisseries.

WARNING: Do not try to eat your way through the cabinet - no matter how tempting it may be. Everything looks incredibly delicious but there is a limit to how much sweet a human can take. Start with a savoury instead like the lamb sausage roll, which might just be the best sausage roll on the planet. Coffee's pretty good too but no syrups (which is common in Tasmania but a bit out of character with the rest of this particular venue).

Sweet Envy made our wedding cake look amazing. I came to them without much time and with a pretty ambitious cake idea, was expecting to hear about the difficulties involved, but only received enthusiasm and creative input into the idea. They made us a very tasty cake. Highly recommend.

Sweet Envy make the best croissants and pains au chocolat in Hobart by far. Deliciously buttery and perfectly balanced. Whilst specialising in sweet things they also have very nice wraps and fresh bread.

Such friendly staff! Tried nearly all the ice cream flavours when I walked in with the intention of buying pastries. Needless to say, I bought some pastries as well as a couple scoops of their homemade ice cream. Very original flavour combos too. Cant wait to go back ;)

I'm yet to find anything in this shop that isn't tasty. Recommended: - Raisin Scroll (it has a french name, can't remember what it is, but it is very tasty and good for breakfast. - Lamb and Harrissa Sausage Rolls. - Lexington Crepe... this is every single sweet thing imaginable in one tart. An experience. Wonderful.

Beware!!!! Unbelievably delicious. I think the macaron’s should be illegal. They are a gateway drug to the bigger cookies. Once you’re on them, you can’t stop.
